Home Review 2007:
Get transported to the 17th
Century Devi Garh Palace hotel, as the story of grandeur and majesty is retold in modern
times Best Hotel Award for Ambience and Design-Conde Nast Traveller' 2006
Was the first break through to take u the responsibility as a HOD, Devigarh is a preferred hotels and
was a dynamic place to be. Implemented the first ever Management Training programme, started
campus recruitments and changed the phase of the organization close coordination and support from
the vise President operations. Assisted with the expansion
of the chain with the upcoming hotels in Cochin and jaipur, with hotel layout planning,
site visits, project coordination, and project coordination. Massive learning and self development.
Handled the hotel without Front Office Manager and general manager for a long season.
Learned and implemented six sigma methodologies to reduce cost and improve quality and thus
adding on to the profitability of the organization.
2008-2009

First international exposure, in a with a very versatile team from more than 12 nationalities, started as
a Housekeeper and was given the responsibility of taking care of Rooms division once the FOM left.
Was new and challenging but was worth every penny to take up this opportunity. Had to come back
as my family required me over. And got a Great opening in this wonderful peace of art at the RAAS.
One other project…
Opening an international 130 villas resort in capacity of the Executive Housekeeper
Project planning and preopening training form a staffing of 60 employees with minimal knowledge of
Hospitality. Successful opening and operating the resort at 98% occupancy
Handover of all the 130 villas from project and implementing snagging and quality audits.
Procurements of all the machines and equipments within a span of two months and successful
installation of all. Designing and procurement of uniforms for the team with real short notice.
Basically done A to Z of Housekeeping and project all by my self within a span of 2 month. A big
learning and one of my greatest achievements of life. Training and On the Job skill improvement of
the Housekeeping team who dint have any experience in hotels before and making those real
professionals. My achievement at Velassaru opening has been recognized by the chairmen of the
company and also the resident manager. Brought in brands like Frette, Lanvin, nesprasso, Johnson
Diversy, Onity, Opera and much more.

Expanded my portfolio with all the added responsibility on the shoulders and was a pay off for all
the preparation and learning’s that was done in the past to handle the Rooms Division with
Reservations, Sales, Front Office, Housekeeping, security, Spa and Project under my direct control
(without any Mangers in any of these departments)The hotels run without a General manager and I
have being groomed to take up the responsibility, now heading every aspect of operations and am the
official signing authority. I have accomplished to achieve the service standards in RAAS what any
best of the brands around would dream. I have kept the management young, motivated and inspired
to involve and innovate with times. I did rate contracting with about 150 plus travel companies and
negotiated rates across the board.
I have achieved the best ARR and highest occupancy % in the city for the past years of operations.
