2. Ethnicity
The ethnicity of my target audience will be very ranged as the
college is a multicultural college meaning many different
people of all ethnic backgrounds can attend, this means that
no specific ethnicity will be looking at my magazine cover.
3. Gender
The main gender of my target audience will be male, although
female sporting news will be on the magazine it will feature mostly
male sports news. Some factors such as colour scheme, the main
images used and also the genre will mean it is more suited to
males. The reason I have chosen the main target audiences gender
to be male is due to the genre of the newspaper is focused more
about sport and the sports facilities that are present at Solihull
Sixth Form.
4. Genre
The genre I have chosen is going to be towards a male audience,
this is due to it being focused around sports and the sporting
facilities at Solihull Sixth Form. The cover will be heavily based
around popular male sports such as Football and Rugby etc. It will
feature the latest news around school including news about new
members of sports teams etc.
5. Social Class
The social class of my audience will be very diverse as the readers of
the magazine will be from Solihull Sixth Form, this means that there will
be a wide range of social classes that will be reading my magazine.
Many social classes ae present at Solihull Sixth Form, this is due to the
sixth form being very diverse in cultures etc.
6. Age
The age range of my magazine will be 16-18. this is due to the
main readers of the magazine will be from Solihull sixth form,
although some teachers might read the magazine they are not the
main target age.
7. Audience Interests
For my magazine cover the majority of my audience will be interested
in sports since that is the main focus of my magazine. The sports I will
cover in my magazine cover will be mostly football but may feature
other sports such as rugby etc. This will attract the majority of my
target audience to the cover as it features sports that they enjoy on
the cover. I will also utilise things like anchoring etc. to make the main
images I use more relevent.
