1. Front Cover Production Diary

2. The first enhancement that I had to was
remove the background of my model. This s
so that I would be able to add any background
image I want to my front cover.
I then added an image of a recording studio to
my cover. This is due to the fact that in my
chosen genre the studio is a key part to an
upcoming artists career as they spend hours in
the studio making music.

3. Next I added in my masthead, I put the masthead at the top
right of the page. This is so that it is away from my model as
I didn’t want the bright yellow colour of it to clash with my
model.
This is the image before any adjustments were made.
The image needs to be brightened up so that it is much
more eye catching and appealing.

4. This is the after screen shot of the image of my
model. The image has been enhanced by
adjusting the contrast and brightness of the image.
This makes the cover look much more appealing
then if it wasn’t adjusted.
I then began to add my cover lines into the front
cover, these will be features on my contents page.
I also added the issue, date and bar code onto the
cover.

5. I then added the rest of features to my front cover, this
makes the magazine look a lot more appealing as it features
an interesting colour contrast that is appealing.
