Evaluation question 7
1. Looking back at your prelim task, how have you progressed
from production of the main task?
2. In my prelim task I did not have enough time to
research for my magazine this shows in my magazine
and to compare it the main task.
As in my main task I had plenty of time to research to
make the magazine look professional and fit the genre
I was looking to create.
I had time to research the type of audience that my
magazine is targeting and the props, clothing and
language I could research so that my magazine was
consistent all the way through.
3. I was also able in my main task to research for things
such as;
The font I was going to use that portrays the genre in
which I wanted to mirror.
Also the type of props that would suit this type of
magazine as in the prelim task we didn’t have the
research and timing to use props in our photos.
Also the gender in which most of my audience as then
I could use the models appropriate for the gender such
as a strong female for the men, and a powerful male for
the women.
4. Also in the main task a risk assessment for each of the photo shoots was written
up to ensure there was no risk of harm for all of the models.
I also had to write up a recce location for each of the locations I aimed to take a
photo in and this included a photo of the photo shot place itself.
5. I have shown in my main task that I have developed my skills as you can see
there is different use of fonts on the front cover that mirrors the genre of the
magazine, and that connect with each other.
I have also shown that I can edit the photo in photo shop to make the front
cover image look at a professional standard and fits the genre of the magazine.
It is also shown in my contents page and double page spread as they are all
consistent to the front cover this is shown at a professional standard that is
require in my magazine.
