I have created a spider diagram and layout plans for my magazine pages, determining where text, images, barcodes, and dates will be placed. I researched my target audience of teenagers to identify topics they are interested in and reviewed other similar magazines. I took many photos of models from different angles and with varied backgrounds, using a green screen and lighting studio for some shots to be cut out in Photoshop, while others were taken at a skate park for their colorful backgrounds.

2. Planning my magazine
I have made plans of each
I started my magazine page. I have put
planning off by making a whereabouts the text and
spider diagram with my the images will go on the
initial ideas on for each pages. I have also put
page, what type of where things such as the
magazine it is and what the barcode go & the date ect.

3. Taking my photos
I took a lot of photos for each model/models that I
have put on my magazine to make sure I had a
good choice of photos to choose from and different
shots from different angles or with different
backgrounds. For quite a few of my photo’s I used
the green screen and lighting in the media suite.
This is because I don’t need a background for
these photos and they will be cut out on
Photoshop. For another set of photos I used a
skate park for the model to pose in. I used this
because of the brightly coloured
backgrounds/graffiti. These set of photos were not
cut out on Photoshop and the background was
used on the front cover and one in the double page
spread.
