A Observation Of My Observation
Lightbox:
At the beginning of my observation, the lightbox was a center that always had a child in it. The
children do spend a significant amount of time (about 10 minutes or more) in this center, building
things that are color see through. However, whoever was in this center spends a large amount of time
in it, since it s a small space as well it s limited to two children at a time. It gets less attention than the
other centers in the room. Later on in the end, of my observation period, it got less attention. I believe
it was a result of newer things that were introduced in the classroom that took the attention away from
this center. Another issue, it s located in an area that s almost hidden away in the back of the room in a
corner. The children would have to get through the other centers or areas on the way to the Lightbox.
It could be possible the children s interest changes on the way there seeing another child playing in
another center that looks more appealing. I would recommend changing the material in this center
weekly or bring in new materials to freshen up the center and to renew interests from the children.
Sensory:
This area always has at least one child at it at all times. The children really enjoyed feeling things with
their hands. The times that the sensory area was less populated depended on the materials that were
used in the sensory tub. When it was things like small toy balls, baking pans, and tongs it was a dry
and clean activity. When it s an

of York gave birth to their first child, a daughter, but also a princess. Princess Elizabeth Alexandra
Mary was christened in the chapel at the Buckingham Palace. The Princess received her first name
after her mother Elizabeth; while she received her middle name from her paternal great grandmother,
Queen Alexandra, and paternal grandmother, Queen Mary. She spent her early years at One Hundred
Forty Five Piccadilly, London, and White Lodge in the Richmond Park. She also spent time in country
homes with her paternal grandparents, and her mother s parents. She had gained a sister when she was

Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park as their own country home. ( The Official Website of The British
Monarchy ) Queen Elizabeth was home schooled with her younger sister, Princess Margaret. After her
father had succeeded to the throne, she started studying constitutional history and law for preparation
for her future role as queen. ( The Official Site of the British Monarchy ) She also learned French to

French speaking areas. The Queen also studied extracurricular activities such as art and music. She

The Godfather the Movie Essay
The Godfather the Movie
THE GODFATHER, made in 1974, details the Corleone crime family in Manhattan during the mid
1930s. The Don, Vito Corleone, played by Marlon Brando, leads his organization against a relentless
narcotics push by a rival family, the Sollozzos. Vito Caleone does not want anything to do with drugs
because he believes they will be the downfall of the Mafia. The story, covering a ten year time period,
offers a rich tapestry of Mafia life from the inside, drawing the audience into witnessing the transfer of
power within a close knit family
According to the October 1999 issue of Entertainment Weekly , THE GODFATHER is one of the
greatest movies of the decade. Rarely can it be said that a film has defined a decade, ... Show more

Special effects play a huge roll in modern day films; they are mainly used to grab the attention of the
audience. In the making of THE GODFATHER, very few special effects were used. The director,
Francis Ford Coppola was able to capture the audience s attention with a terrific cast, and a
captivating story line. The movie explores many aspects of real life such as family responsibility, a
father s legacy, the need to earn respect and the corrupting influence of power. These are some of the
ingredients combined in Francis Ford Coppola s masterpiece. The movie ran close to three hours and
every scene was better then the last; not boring the viewer throughout the entire performance.
Throughout the film, Michael Corleone played brilliantly by Al Pacino, experiences a major change in
his way of thinking. Michael changes from believing that what his family does is wrong, to believing
that his family s crimes are a necessary evil. He begins by insisting to his girlfriend that his family s
crimes belong to his family, not to him. He was not involved in the business and did not want anything
to do with it.
By the end of the movie, most of the Corleone family have been murdered. Michael organizes the
execution of several people within the other crime families as the Corleon family s new Don, having
reasoned that these murders are necessary. Feeling that he must follow in his father s footsteps he
transforms from an innocent bystander to the central manipulator.

Fighting In Ice Hockey
The summer of 2011 was catastrophic, seeing the deaths of many former NHL players such as Leafe
Wade Belak, Rick Rypien, and Derek Boogaard. In 2002, the death of Mike Webster shocked many,
but sparked the minds of many scientists and doctors. It had been discovered that after playing in the
NFL for 17 years, Mike Webster was found with symptoms of dementia. Dr. Omalu described it as a
brain of an old person who is suffering from Alzheimer s disease. After many other players were
diagnosed with CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy), they filed a lawsuit against the NFL. In
2011, top enforcers in the NHL passed away, and they all shared common symptoms of CTE. The

Pack smart
Check what the weather will be on the dates you are in Dubai. Be mindful of dress codes and customs
especially in more historical areas and places of worship. While Dubai is generally relaxed, it is best
to dress modestly, even for children. Women may be required to wear head scarves and clothing that
covers the arms, shoulders, and legs when entering mosques.
Summer essentials
It is best to bring loose clothing that covers your arms and legs. Swimwear is allowed in beaches,
swimming pools, spas, and for other water related activities. Late May to October are the hottest
months, with temperatures reaching over 100 degrees. Bring items that will prevent sunburn such as
lip balms, sunscreen, sunglasses, wide brimmed hats, and even umbrellas. Wear appropriate footwear
to avoid burning your feet on beach sand. Do not forget to pack water to avoid dehydration. Winter
wear
From December to February, pack a light jacket or sweater as the desert can become quite chilly in the
evenings. For women, pashminas or scarves can provide warmth or as a modest cover ups. You can
still dress as you are like in the summer months as Dubai is warm and humid all throughout the year,
but may be a little bit colder during the winter

Lab Report On The Biology Department
Introduction The Biology Department requested the identity of seven different samples. The aqueous
ionic solutions were sent to be disposed of by the company Enviro Safe, Inc. However, the shipment
containing seven, five gallon carboys, was labeled Experiment 9 and did not include the names of
solutions. The faculty in the Biology Department was unfamiliar with the contents but was able to
locate a pre laboratory notebook dated ten years prior, the notes only revealed that eight unknown
solutions were involved in the experiment. Enviro Safe would have charged $350 per carboy to
analysis the products if not identified by the laboratory class. In order to save the department money
all seven samples had to be labeled correctly and the identity of the one missing solution revealed. To
fulfill the Biology Department s request, the experiment involved mixing the solutions together two at
a time so the reactions, if any, could help determine the names of each solution. Experimental Safety
goggles were worn at all times. Soapy, tap water was utilized to clean seven small test tubes; all were
thoroughly rinsed with tap water. A paper towel was used to completely dry all moisture from the
glassware. Using the dropper provided with the bottle, 20 drops of solution 1 were added to one of the
clean test tubes. Solution 7 and solution 1 was combined by adding 20 drops of solution 7 into the
small test tube already containing solution 1. The reaction of the mixture was carefully

Learning English Is The Most Important And New Language
Learning new languages is the best way to communicate and keep in touch with the people who have
a language that is different from yours. Language is very important that each country has its own type
of language, and that language is special for the country itself. Learning new language helps the
people to connect with each other in an easy way in their life, thus they can chat, express and share
their understanding. Also, it is helpful for traveling and visiting to other countries, it is makes easier to
move around without any misunderstand of different things. Since you share your interest in a certain

As we all know that English is the most important and common language. Mainly most of the
countries use English in their life because it helps a lot to communicate with the people around the
world. Kuwait schools offer subject specially for teaching and learning English. So when I was seven
years old, I learned the basic words and number without any grammar. Each year in my education
from primary to high school I learned the language from my teachers. When I graduated, I observed
that I have a lack of understanding English. I realized that I have no ability to understand the news,
songs also the movies with English language. I found it really very difficult. In my opinion, the
problem is because in our government schools here in Kuwait do not offer enough educate. To be
honest, they do not have the better skills to deliver the information for the students. Moreover, they do
not teach essential vocabularies that we need in our education. Of course that can cause a problem for
a student to misunderstanding the English language. I entered the university after I finish high school
but I found it difficult because of lacking of vocabularies. I was only understood by scanning and
catching the easy words. At least, I can understand the sentences by context. I tried to deal and come
over to my problem by myself by learning more, and improved my reading in books and translating
new English words to Arabic when I do not understand. Honestly, till now I

A locksmith is someone who can repair and make locks. There are a number of instances where a
person will need a locksmith. One of the main reasons that people contact a locksmith is because they

However, the good news is that Edmonton lock service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
That is why you will be able to quickly get a locksmith if you happen to get locked out of your vehicle

The Successful Formation Of A New Colony
Before organizing a colony, it is important to gain perspective and understand where colonies before
when right and where they also went wrong. Learning from their mistakes and capitalizing on the
positive aspects of different colonies can lead to the successful formation of a new colony in Illinois.
From what we already know, each colony in the New World was for the most part different. Some
were driven by religious ideas others were driven by the prospect of wealth. While colonies shared
some similarities, each had its own set of rules, policies, and way of life. Colonies such as
Pennsylvania and Massachusetts were vastly different even though they were both northern colonies
and religion was a driving force in the development of their colonies. There were also colonies that
were developed in hopes that prosperity was to be had by means of trade and cultivation. This
capitalist model was used by the colonies of Virginia and New Netherland (New York). However there
were colonies that simply did things their own way that was separate from everyone else. One of those
colonies were Carolina, which was setup by eight proprietors, businessmen, who hoped to rule every
aspect of their colony from government to religion this was now as the feudal model. The other colony
was Georgia, who took English debtors to work off their debts as part of their colony and as a hope to
alleviate the overpopulation in British settlements in the Caribbean, this was the philanthropical
model. These

Guide Dogs History
I chose to watch a webcast on the history of the guide dog movement. The reason I chose this webcast
is because of my love for dogs, how extraordinary these guide dogs are from regular dogs, and also
my curiosity on the history of these guide dogs and how they came to be. This webcast is about the
history of guide dogs and how they were founded in America; Although, the speakers also cover a few
more points. The first guide dog school opened in the United States was the All Seeing Eye; this
school was opened in 1928 and is for both dogs and handlers. On behalf of the Americans with

Don ruined his credibility by using to many over exaggerated and bias personal experiences; for
example, he complains about a personal experience where one man would not stop trying to talk to his
guide dog. In Don s speech he started with the birth of guide dogs and their very first training and
talked about this for the first five minutes; then transitioned to talking about the ADA s guidelines and
sharing his negative bias on certain businesses such as airports. Don also did not share any history
about guide dogs only information about the ADA and its guidelines with businesses. Don also tends
to change his tone when he is talking about a particular situation that he is not fond of. Don has some
strong points and is very knowledgeable about ADA policies, also Don is a handler and has been to
schools with his guide dogs and received first hand experience and training just like Jane. Dons has
many weak point showing too much bias, he never chose a topic to begin with, he uses too many
personal experiences, and Don does not express a positive and mutual attitude throughout his entire
speech. One small thing I did notice is that Don did not introduce his guide dog Wagner like Jane did.
Overall Jane s portion of the webcast was much more informing and enjoyable than Don s

Charter Of Rights And Freedoms In Canada
In its earliest days, Canada did not have a written constitution. During the mid 1700s and 1800s,
French and British colonists, who were governed by the laws of their home countries, populated the
territory of modern day Canada. As the territory of Canada became more populated, the United
Kingdom assumed authority over all of Canada s inhabitants. However, as time went on it became
obvious that a system of autochthonous constitution was required to effectively govern the individual
needs of the colonies. The Constitution Act of 1867, reflected a few core values that the drafters held
for the creation of the Dominion of Canada including: (1) loyalty to the United Kingdom and (2)
respect for all language and religion. However, those values shifted ... Show more content on

Why The Decline Of Newspaper Is Bad For The Us
Laura Finley states in her article The Decline of Newspapers Is Bad for the US that there has been
quite a decline in newspapers in recent years. The cause of this decline is none other than our beloved
internet. The biggest decline in newspapers was between October 2008 and March 2009. In this time
period average newspaper sales decreased by 7.1 percent compared to the year prior. (14 15)
Advertising revenues declined by an outstanding 30 percent in the first quarter of 2009! (15 16)
Since 2007 several major newspapers have been forced into bankruptcy or have experienced major
budget cuts due to the internet. One such newspaper is The Boston Globe who faced tremendous
financial danger and possible closure in May 2009. (16 17) Another such

The Pros And Cons Of Cultural Appropriation
Cultural appropriation is a crime in 2017. The Kardashian family is constantly under criticism for
cultural appropriation, as Khloé Kardashian has been accused of appropriating Native American
headdresses, while Kylie Jenner has come under fire more than once for wearing cornrows. Kendall
Jenner s Pepsi commercial, where she quelled a protest by offering a soda to a police officer, was
lambasted as offensive and tone deaf. These are the scenarios that the word appropriation brings to
mind: privileged young women and cultural insensitivity. In I Can t Stop Thinking through What
Other People are Thinking , David Shields describes a wholly different cast of appropriators: artists,
writers, and composers.
In his essay, Shields unleashes his frustrations regarding the country s negative attitude towards
appropriation and borrowing. He asserts that there s no such thing as originality , that all life on
earth...is built upon appropriation and reuse of the pre existing (Shields 736). Shields utilizes a
multitude of examples to illustrate and support his points. Musicians from Mozart to Bob Dylan have
utilized content or taken inspiration from other artists. Shields shows that borrowing has been with us
from the beginning , citing the New Testament and Shakespeare s Antony and Cleopatra as composites
of numerous sources (740). His essay demonstrates that borrowing is prevalent in music and writing,
as artists take inspiration from preceding artists and from their

Case 3.2.4 Justification Of Antimicrobial Use
3.2.4Justification of antimicrobial use
Before initiating antimicrobial therapy, even in the case of a correct diagnosis, the practitioner should
ascertain that whether such therapy is justified and will confer the benefit to the animal. The therapy
should help to contain and limit further extension of the infection, shorten its duration and reduce the
risk of systemic complications. Ideally, only diseased animals should be treated, and the treatment
should be as individual as possible. However, in the case of poultry this is not practical, and mass
treatment is accepted following a relevant diagnosis. Metaphylaxis should be avoided and prophylaxis
should be kept to a minimum. Routine prophylactic use of antimicrobials as a substitute for health
management should be discouraged. In routine surgical procedures in animals, administration of
antimicrobials may not be always necessary since aseptic techniques and hygienic measures can
replace the need for antimicrobials in most of the cases. Off label use of antimicrobials should be ...

Antimicrobial activity may be reduced significantly in pus, which contains phagocytes, cellular debris,
and proteins that can bind or create conditions unfavorable to drug action. Low pH, characteristic of
the fluid in abscesses and in other confined infected sites (pleural space, CSF, and urine), and
anaerobic conditions can reduce the antimicrobial activity of some agents markedly, particularly the
aminoglycosides. In addition, penetration of antimicrobial agents into infected areas such as abscess
cavities can be impaired because the vascular supply is reduced. Incision and drainage is thus the
preferred method for successful therapy of abscesses. The presence of a foreign body in an infected
site markedly reduces the likelihood of successful antimicrobial therapy and it is virtually impossible
to treat such infections without removing the foreign

Delores Williams Analysis
There are not too many stories in the Bible where you hear about women liberating themselves.
Delores Williams, the author, discusses in the first chapter of African American and slave women
history from a religious experience. Hagar, a black female slave, showed that it does not matter the
circumstances, any woman can take a stand even if they re powerless. It takes courage to liberate
yourself from oppression and others. Many might not agree with the position that Hagar took when
she decide to run away from her owners. Even though she ran away, she put her trust in God to guide
her through what even journey she may endure. It s not even day back in Hagar times that a slave
decided to liberate herself from her family. Hagar was just an inmost virgin slave that was oppressed
by her owner Sarai. The owner used Hagar for her benefits but did not think about the repercussions.
If a woman was unable to provide children for her husband, she was seen as worthless. Therefore,
since Sarai had fertility problems she decided to give her slave to her ... Show more content on

I agree with the Williams that when it comes to the black women culture, they sometimes turn to
religion to her guide them. Many centuries again black women had a strong religious background.
Hagar was indeed brave from leaving the harsh treatment that she was facing; however, I also had to
agree with Williams that liberating herself was great, but she did not think about the consequences
when she took those actions.
The story of Hagar helped me understand more how difficult it was for black women to liberate
themselves. Also, understanding that you can not run away powerless. Williams helped me understand
how religion plays a big part in many people lives. For instance, most individuals look for guides in
God or someone higher they believe in. Hagar used her guidance and trust in faith to let her know that
the only thing worst is running away without a

Buachaillin Should Be Banned
Listening Journal An Buachaillin Ban is a tune that is a sean nòs, and thus considered a traditional
Irish song. There are no instruments and it is sung solo and in the Gaelic language. The melody is
unmetered with a varying rhythm in each verse and likely based on the young lady s own pattern of
speech. Because the song is unaccompanied, the singer is using a great deal of ornamentation to give

Around the 1:47 mark the tune changes and switches from The Reel of Rio to The Woman of the
House . Both tunes have an extremely fast rhythm and are written in 4/4 time making them simple
quadruple metered with 4 beats per measure. The rhythmic pattern appears to repeat itself in binary
form, though it is difficult to follow. The tone in The Reel of Rio distinctly changes from low to high
after two measures and in The Woman of the House the tone remains mostly the same up to the end.
Both tunes are reels , which is the most popular tune type within the Irish dance music tradition
(Reel). As with all reels, they have the same structure, consisting largely of quaver (eighth note)
movement with an accent on the first and third beats of the bar. (Reel). These accents make it difficult
for this writer to count out the beats and therefore, unable to imagine dancing to these tunes.

Wit By Margaret Edson Analysis
Margaret Edson is a wonderfully author. Currently she is a teacher living in the suburbs of Atlanta
with her partner and two little boys. She wrote Wit nearly twenty years ago. Edson had just graduated
as a Magna Cum Laude from Smith College with an undergraduate in Renaissance history in 1983.
After graduation she earned a job at a hot dog stand 1988, according to her in her interview with the
New York Times it was the only job that someone with a B.A. in Renaissance History could get.
Luckily for Edson s sanity she was able to move on from the role of hot dog tender to a slightly more
challenging one. She was hired as an aids oncology clerk, which she described as being the stage
manager of the hospital. She worked there for two years, and spent many hours of hard work ... Show

Military Conquest In Mesoamerica
Amplified connections resulting from explorations, military expeditions and trade among different
cultures emerge simultaneously across the globe in the early modern era. Once people move, their
ideas accompany them, and this dramatic surge of communication often relates to the role of religion.
With this intensity of collaborations, opportunities for the restructuring of religion escalates.
Undeniably, these factors shape religious practices in the regions of Mesoamerica and Europe. With
the military conquests in Mesoamerica and the struggles for and against the importance of political
and economic power in Europe, the altering of religious practices occurs.
Markedly, military conquest brings potential for religious changes. The military invasion ... Show

This reformation includes two folds, one a drive for internal reform linked to earlier reform efforts,
and the other a Counter Reformation that opposed Protestants intellectually, institutionally, politically,

power. The church sets their goal to stop the spread of Protestant ideas with the ambition of
reestablishing their supremacy. In the attempt to achieve this goal, the church promotes the teaching of
specific Catholic doctrine that Protestants contest such as the rule to, keep the mind ready and prompt

The Development of War Poetry Throughout Ww1
The development of war poetry throughout WW1 was influenced by many different incidents. Many
of the soldiers developed friendships with each other based on the amount of time they spent together
in the trenches. One of the reasons soldiers developed such strong comradeships that lasted even after
the war, was due to the amount of horror and bloodshed they had witnessed together, furthermore the
shared experience of suffering and hardship led to strong companionship and their experiences
affected what they wrote about in their poems. Many of the men wrote poetry as a mean of expressing
their despair as their situation and possible fate. In order to express my view over this I will be

All a poet can do today is warn which is why true poets must always be truthful; Sassoon told
everyone that the war is not what they think it is.
All three poems have different meanings and all had a different view over war but one thing they share
is they all know how brutal war is and what effects it has on the soldiers. At the start of the war
everyone was eager and enthusiastic but when the war actually started no one gave the soldiers the

Whistle-blowing in Auditing
Question 1
Introduction
At the start of this century, unprecedented collapses of Enron and WorldCom have sparked heated
world discussions over corporate whistle blowing. In light of this, legislations and professional codes
of conduct are implemented to provide framework on ethical and financial decision making
particularly for auditors. This essay covers prerequisites for an effective corporate whistle blower
hotline, measures to avoid potential pitfalls, as well as analysis on benefits and drawbacks of having a
whistle blower hotline.
Whistle blower Hotline
What is it?
By incorporating the concepts of whistle blower of Alford (2001, p.17) and Bok (1980, p.277) into

Prerequisites for Procedures of
Handling Claims for Effective Hotline
In Combined Code on Corporate Governance July 2003 (The Combined Code) issued by Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England Wales (ICAEW), whistle blowing procedures are formal steps
taken by the Audit Commission when concerns regarding malpractice in the corporation are raised.
Audit Commission should review corporate arrangements and carry out investigations, and make
recommendations to Board of Directors. Audit Commission should follow chronologically the five
steps in handling claims stated below.

Introduce Multiple Easily accessed Channels of Communication
Corporations usually establish both internally and externally a confidential toll free telephone hotline,
email address and message boxes on official website which allow whistle blowers staying nameless.
(Devine and Maassarani 2011, p.271) The hotline should be easily accessible as stakeholders range
from employees, clients, suppliers to members of the public. It should be operated at all times so that
whistle blowers do not face time restriction in reporting suspected wrongdoings. Hence, multiple
channels allow whistle blowers to choose the most

Peer Group Belonging Research
The peer group is viewed as a microsystem because it is made up of roles, relationships, and activities
(Berns, 2016). Peers are individuals who are of approximately the same gender, age, and social status,
and who share interests. When children share different experiences with their peers, it allows them to
obtain a number of skills, attitudes, and roles that will guide their adaptation throughout life. Peer
groups are important socializers. Peer groups contribute beyond the way that families and school
affect socialization. Peers contribute to the socialization process by satisfying certain basic needs: the
need of belonging to a group and interact socially, and the need to develop a sense of self (Berns,
2016). Belonging needs and socialization develops throughout the childhood. In the infancy stage, the
sense of belonging develops first within the family. An example of this would be when my mom
would comfort me when I was a baby during thunder storms because I was terrified of them. With my
mom comforting me at this stage, I felt a sense of belonging. In the early childhood stage, preschool
children s social interactions are impacted by attachment and the willingness of adults to provide
opportunities of interaction. My mom provided me with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Cardiovascular Disease Is The Leading Cause Of Death For...
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women and has an average of
610,000 casualties in the United States every year. This could be contributed to the fact that as adults,
we tend to lead a very demanding lifestyle and constantly struggle through a never ending to do list

perhaps even school, our responsibility to take care of ourselves doesn t quite make the priority cutoff.

At the same time, with a little research it s never too late to change a bad habit and there is a light at
the end of the tunnel. Significant progress has been made over the last 50 years in understanding the
causes of chronic illnesses, as well as development in areas that provide knowledge to detect, prevent,
and maintain comparable diseases. Improvement in public health and health care have increased life
expectancy by approximately 30 years and has led to dramatic changes in the leading causes of death.
With this information we now have a better understanding of the long term effects our choices will
make and those results have already affected the market around us. Fast food chains now provide
menu selections for their health conscious customers such as nutritional listings, optional cooking
methods, and the use of organic and Non GMO ingredients. Similarly, patients that suffer from
congestive heart failure and smoke may be drawn to the more recent e cigarette. Although e cigarettes
still have years of long term testing in order to determine their overall hazards and benefits, current
research shows that there is potential for smokers to reduce their health related risks if electronic
cigarettes are used in place of tobacco cigarettes when on the road to the ending tobacco or nicotine
use.

Two past presidents of the United States leading America through tough times and crisis . Ronald
Reagan and John F. Kennedy were two of the most significant leaders in America. Kennedy and
Reagan were very popular presidents. When Reagan took office he got shot but it didn t kill him.
Reagan had a lot of integrity in his personal life where Kennedy didn t. Reagan was faithful to his
wife while Kennedy ran around with other women. They were both powerful communicators. Reagan
had a greater impact because of the way that he spoke he was able to articulate conservatism in a way
that nobody else was able to do. Reagan and Kennedy both led presidencies that were compelling and

The church s hierarchy made Christianity more centralized and because the Pope was the leading

A tummy tuck isn t designed to get rid of lots of body weight but rather to tighten up the midsection.
Some of the reasons for having a stretched out belly region includes pregnancy, rapid weight loss, and
aging. The older a person gets, the harder it is for his or her tissue to snap back into place after it s
been stretched out. Skin has quite a bit of elasticity when we re younger but gradually loses that
capability over time. After it s been stretched, as in a pregnancy, sometimes it just stays that way long
after the baby has been born. Not only does the external skin of the midsection become saggy but the

Feudalism In The Middle Ages
Feudalism was a very popular social system in the Medieval ages, and provided a give and take
system for both parties. It was a fairly simple system, those of nobility or higher power would give up
some of their land (also called a fief) to the peasants (or serfs) and offered them protection in
exchange for them working the land and being sent out to war when needed. This allowed for both
parties to gain something out of the transaction and was the basis of the relationship between a lord
and a vassal. Although it was a simple system, due to their being so many barons, dukes and earls who
were in theory loyal to the king and his family which could start a fight with the king, vassals could

The Hands Of An Angry God By Jonathan Edwards
For the sinners who fail to cleanse their loathsome, tainted souls, angering the omnipotent God whose
hostility is presented in an infinite wrath, only a painful, torturing hell is held in their destinies. This
terrifying, ominous threat, presented in Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God by Jonathan Edwards,
amplifies the power of God, and renders a profound hatred toward impure sinners. Accordingly,
through his usage of the powerful rhetoric exposed by allusion, imagery, and metaphor, Edwards
produces a dangerous scene which effectively contributes to his formidable assertion regarding God s
animosity toward those who sin, and his capacity to inflict vengeance upon those who are suspects.

The glittering sword is whet, and held over them, and the pit hath opened its mouth under them
(Edwards 1); this resolute description provides readers with an intense mental image which cements
the idea that God has every capability to enforce a hellish punishment upon those who sin.
Additionally, it is not only true that God wishes to inflict punishment which is inconceivable without
the reference provided by Edwards, but that God loathes the sinners within a deep and profound
standard, projected by the dramatically detailed metaphor promoted by Edwards. In his metaphorical
message to the unconverted sinners, fit for the pits of hell , Edwards clarifies God s hatred toward
these accusers, stating that his wrath towards you burns like fire...he is of purer eyes than to bear to
have you in his sight; you are ten thousand times more abominable in his eyes, than the most hateful
venomous serpent is in ours. You have offended him infinitely more than ever a stubborn rebel did his
prince (Edwards 2). This comparison of hatred to the extreme, and agreeably odious actions and
creatures, effectively describes the rivalry between God and those who commit acts of sinning.
As presented by Edwards, sinning, an evil, and illicit religious act, prompts violent actions by the
powerful, exasperated God as a method of punishment to those who are loathed convicts. To

  • 2. A Observation Of My Observation Lightbox: At the beginning of my observation, the lightbox was a center that always had a child in it. The children do spend a significant amount of time (about 10 minutes or more) in this center, building things that are color see through. However, whoever was in this center spends a large amount of time in it, since it s a small space as well it s limited to two children at a time. It gets less attention than the other centers in the room. Later on in the end, of my observation period, it got less attention. I believe it was a result of newer things that were introduced in the classroom that took the attention away from this center. Another issue, it s located in an area that s almost hidden away in the back of the room in a corner. The children would have to get through the other centers or areas on the way to the Lightbox. It could be possible the children s interest changes on the way there seeing another child playing in another center that looks more appealing. I would recommend changing the material in this center weekly or bring in new materials to freshen up the center and to renew interests from the children. Sensory: This area always has at least one child at it at all times. The children really enjoyed feeling things with their hands. The times that the sensory area was less populated depended on the materials that were used in the sensory tub. When it was things like small toy balls, baking pans, and tongs it was a dry and clean activity. When it s an ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Special effects play a huge roll in modern day films; they are mainly used to grab the attention of the audience. In the making of THE GODFATHER, very few special effects were used. The director, Francis Ford Coppola was able to capture the audience s attention with a terrific cast, and a captivating story line. The movie explores many aspects of real life such as family responsibility, a father s legacy, the need to earn respect and the corrupting influence of power. These are some of the ingredients combined in Francis Ford Coppola s masterpiece. The movie ran close to three hours and every scene was better then the last; not boring the viewer throughout the entire performance. Throughout the film, Michael Corleone played brilliantly by Al Pacino, experiences a major change in his way of thinking. Michael changes from believing that what his family does is wrong, to believing that his family s crimes are a necessary evil. He begins by insisting to his girlfriend that his family s crimes belong to his family, not to him. He was not involved in the business and did not want anything to do with it. By the end of the movie, most of the Corleone family have been murdered. Michael organizes the execution of several people within the other crime families as the Corleon family s new Don, having reasoned that these murders are necessary. Feeling that he must follow in his father s footsteps he transforms from an innocent bystander to the central manipulator. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Each year in my education from primary to high school I learned the language from my teachers. When I graduated, I observed that I have a lack of understanding English. I realized that I have no ability to understand the news, songs also the movies with English language. I found it really very difficult. In my opinion, the problem is because in our government schools here in Kuwait do not offer enough educate. To be honest, they do not have the better skills to deliver the information for the students. Moreover, they do not teach essential vocabularies that we need in our education. Of course that can cause a problem for a student to misunderstanding the English language. I entered the university after I finish high school but I found it difficult because of lacking of vocabularies. I was only understood by scanning and catching the easy words. At least, I can understand the sentences by context. I tried to deal and come over to my problem by myself by learning more, and improved my reading in books and translating new English words to Arabic when I do not understand. Honestly, till now I ... Learning from their mistakes and capitalizing on the positive aspects of different colonies can lead to the successful formation of a new colony in Illinois. From what we already know, each colony in the New World was for the most part different. Some were driven by religious ideas others were driven by the prospect of wealth. While colonies shared some similarities, each had its own set of rules, policies, and way of life. Colonies such as Pennsylvania and Massachusetts were vastly different even though they were both northern colonies and religion was a driving force in the development of their colonies. There were also colonies that were developed in hopes that prosperity was to be had by means of trade and cultivation. This capitalist model was used by the colonies of Virginia and New Netherland (New York). However there were colonies that simply did things their own way that was separate from everyone else. One of those colonies were Carolina, which was setup by eight proprietors, businessmen, who hoped to rule every aspect of their colony from government to religion this was now as the feudal model. The other colony was Georgia, who took English debtors to work off their debts as part of their colony and as a hope to alleviate the overpopulation in British settlements in the Caribbean, this was the philanthropical model. During the mid 1700s and 1800s, French and British colonists, who were governed by the laws of their home countries, populated the territory of modern day Canada. As the territory of Canada became more populated, the United Kingdom assumed authority over all of Canada s inhabitants. However, as time went on it became obvious that a system of autochthonous constitution was required to effectively govern the individual needs of the colonies. The Kardashian family is constantly under criticism for cultural appropriation, as Khloé Kardashian has been accused of appropriating Native American headdresses, while Kylie Jenner has come under fire more than once for wearing cornrows. Kendall Jenner s Pepsi commercial, where she quelled a protest by offering a soda to a police officer, was lambasted as offensive and tone deaf. These are the scenarios that the word appropriation brings to mind: privileged young women and cultural insensitivity. In I Can t Stop Thinking through What Other People are Thinking , David Shields describes a wholly different cast of appropriators: artists, writers, and composers. He asserts that there s no such thing as originality , that all life on earth...is built upon appropriation and reuse of the pre existing (Shields 736). Case 3.2.4 Justification Of Antimicrobial Use 3.2.4Justification of antimicrobial use Before initiating antimicrobial therapy, even in the case of a correct diagnosis, the practitioner should ascertain that whether such therapy is justified and will confer the benefit to the animal. The therapy should help to contain and limit further extension of the infection, shorten its duration and reduce the risk of systemic complications. Ideally, only diseased animals should be treated, and the treatment should be as individual as possible. However, in the case of poultry this is not practical, and mass treatment is accepted following a relevant diagnosis. Metaphylaxis should be avoided and prophylaxis should be kept to a minimum. Routine prophylactic use of antimicrobials as a substitute for health management should be discouraged. Delores Williams, the author, discusses in the first chapter of African American and slave women history from a religious experience. Hagar, a black female slave, showed that it does not matter the circumstances, any woman can take a stand even if they re powerless. It takes courage to liberate yourself from oppression and others. Many might not agree with the position that Hagar took when she decide to run away from her owners. Even though she ran away, she put her trust in God to guide her through what even journey she may endure. It s not even day back in Hagar times that a slave decided to liberate herself from her family. Hagar was just an inmost virgin slave that was oppressed by her owner Sarai. There are no instruments and it is sung solo and in the Gaelic language. The melody is unmetered with a varying rhythm in each verse and likely based on the young lady s own pattern of speech. Because the song is unaccompanied, the singer is using a great deal of ornamentation to give the tune more interest and aesthetic appeal. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women and has an average of 610,000 casualties in the United States every year. This could be contributed to the fact that as adults, we tend to lead a very demanding lifestyle and constantly struggle through a never ending to do list that diminishes the majority of our day. Inside our home, the office, events for the holidays, and perhaps even school, our responsibility to take care of ourselves doesn t quite make the priority cutoff. The glowing red rocket stops and local stores lining Ohio for once felt not so terrifying . The streets were really quiet today. Wait, I m getting distracted. Anyways, I was snooping around this parking lot when I saw the nearby Super Duper Mart. I instantly rushed there with excitement. For once I wasn t going to eat cram or crisps full of mold and/or radiation! When I got there, I checked the vending machines for soda or hidden loot. Unfortunately it was already looted. • 39. Feudalism In The Middle Ages Feudalism was a very popular social system in the Medieval ages, and provided a give and take system for both parties. It was a fairly simple system, those of nobility or higher power would give up some of their land (also called a fief) to the peasants (or serfs) and offered them protection in exchange for them working the land and being sent out to war when needed. This allowed for both parties to gain something out of the transaction and was the basis of the relationship between a lord and a vassal. Although it was a simple system, due to their being so many barons, dukes and earls who were in theory loyal to the king and his family which could start a fight with the king, vassals could end up having their land in the middle of a war zone or be given multiple pieces of land by mistake, which would confuse the contract. The Hands Of An Angry God By Jonathan Edwards For the sinners who fail to cleanse their loathsome, tainted souls, angering the omnipotent God whose hostility is presented in an infinite wrath, only a painful, torturing hell is held in their destinies. This terrifying, ominous threat, presented in Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God by Jonathan Edwards, amplifies the power of God, and renders a profound hatred toward impure sinners. Accordingly, through his usage of the powerful rhetoric exposed by allusion, imagery, and metaphor, Edwards produces a dangerous scene which effectively contributes to his formidable assertion regarding God s animosity toward those who sin, and his capacity to inflict vengeance upon those who are suspects. This horrifying malice is portrayed within ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The glittering sword is whet, and held over them, and the pit hath opened its mouth under them (Edwards 1); this resolute description provides readers with an intense mental image which cements the idea that God has every capability to enforce a hellish punishment upon those who sin. Additionally, it is not only true that God wishes to inflict punishment which is inconceivable without the reference provided by Edwards, but that God loathes the sinners within a deep and profound standard, projected by the dramatically detailed metaphor promoted by Edwards. In his metaphorical message to the unconverted sinners, fit for the pits of hell , Edwards clarifies God s hatred toward these accusers, stating that his wrath towards you burns like fire...he is of purer eyes than to bear to have you in his sight; you are ten thousand times more abominable in his eyes, than the most hateful venomous serpent is in ours. You have offended him infinitely more than ever a stubborn rebel did his prince (Edwards 2). This comparison of hatred to the extreme, and agreeably odious actions and creatures, effectively describes the rivalry between God and those who commit acts of sinning. As presented by Edwards, sinning, an evil, and illicit religious act, prompts violent actions by the powerful, exasperated God as a method of punishment to those who are loathed convicts. To ...
