COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT
A combined-cycle power plant uses both a gas and a steam turbine together
to produce up to 50 percent more electricity from the same fuel than a
traditional simple-cycle plant. The waste heat from the gas turbine is routed
to the nearby steam turbine, which generates extra power.

WIND POWER PLANT
 Wind power is extracted from air flow using wind turbines or sails to produce
mechanical or electrical power. Windmills are used for their mechanical
power, wind pumps for water pumping, and sails to propel ships. Wind power
as an alternative to fossil fuels, is plentiful,renewable, widely
distributed, clean, produces no greenhouse gasemissions during operation,

 Oil-An oil is any neutral, non polar chemical substance that is a viscous liquid at

 Upstream-The upstream sector includes the searching for potential
underground or underwater crude oil and natural gas fields, drilling of
exploratory wells, and subsequently drilling and operating the wells that
recover and bring the crude oil and/or raw natural gas to the surface. There
has been a significant shift toward including unconventional gas as a part of
the upstream sector, and corresponding developments in liquefied natural
gas (LNG) processing and transport

 Water Treatment- Water treatment is a process of making water suitable for
its application or returning its natural state. Thus,water treatment required
before and after its application. The required treatment depends on the
application
 Waste Water Treatment Plant- Wastewater treatment is a process to
convert wastewater - which is water no longer needed or suitable for its most
recent use - into an effluent that can be either returned to the water cycle with
minima lenvironmental issues or reused.. Treatment means removing
impurities from water being treated; and some methods of treatment are

CHILLERS
 Chillers-A chiller is a machine that removes heat from a liquid via a vapor-
compression or absorption refrigeration cycle. This liquid can then be
circulated through a heat exchanger to cool air or equipment as required. As a
necessary byproduct, refrigeration creates waste heat that must be exhausted
to ambient or, for greater efficiency, recovered for heating purposes.

TYPES OF CHILLER
 Three Types of Chillers-Oil cooled Chillers, Water Cooled Chillers and Air
Cooled chillers.
 Oil Cooled Chiller-The oil chiller is a unit which performs cooling of
the hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and cooling oil of machine tools. In various
parts of the machine tool spindles the bearings and gears get overheated and
thermal deformation occurs due to the high speed rotational impact.

 Centralized chillers generally have capacities ranging from ten tons to
hundreds or thousands of tons. Chilled water is used to cool and dehumidify
air in mid- to large-size commercial, industrial, and institutional (CII) facilities

 Air cooled chillers absorb heat from process water, and the heat is then
transferred to theair around the chiller unit. This type of chillersystem is
generally used in applications where the additional heat it discharges is not a
factor.
