The wireless technology which has wide range of applications in automation and control. Low power consumption and reliable data transfer is main advantage of this technology
GI-FI (Gigabit Fidelity) or Giga bit wireless refers to wireless communication at a data rate of more than one billion bits (gigabits) per second. GI-FI offers some advantages over WI-FI, a similar wireless technology. In that it offers faster information rate in GBPS, less power consumption and low cost for short range transmission as compare to current technology. GI-FI consists of a chip which has facility to deliver short-range multi gigabit data transfer in a local environment and compared to other technologies in the market it is ten times faster. GI-FI has the data transfer speed up to 5 GBPS within a short-range of 10 metres. It operates in 60 GHZ frequency band. GI-FI is developed on an integrated wireless transceiver chip. It has both transmitter and receiver, integrated on a single chip which is fabricated using the CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) process and it also consists of a small antenna. GI-FI allows transferring large videos, audio files, data files etc. within few seconds.

Presented at WinOps Meetup #5 on Wednesday 20th April 2016. http://www.meetup.com/WinOps/events/229065341/
This presentation looks at "web2" in the context of human experience, suggesting that the social web as extension of "real life" means that it transcends the marketing-biased, "numbered web" hype that has typically surrounded it.
The slides focus particularly on the use of "social web" tools in the enterprise.
I will present these slides at Online Information 4th December 2008. See http://www.online-information.co.uk/online08/seminar_description_ims.html?presentation_id=442 for more information
Дмитрий Дурасов-«Технологии контейнеризации в Windows Server 2016»Tanya Denisyuk
SD-WAN has been hyped as the next-generation technology for Enterprise WAN. Enterprises has started to adopt SD-WAN as their next-generation branch connectivity solution. This session will cover how Nuage Networks Virtualized Network Services (VNS), SD-WAN Solution, is being used by Enterprise and some recent deployment example.
Zigbee operates in the industrial, scientific and medical radio bands; 868 MHz in Europe, 915 MHz in countries such as USA and Australia and 2.4 GHz in most jurisdictions worldwide. The technology is intented to be simpler and less expensive than other WPANS such as bluetooth. Radios are also avaiable stand lone to be used with any processor or microcontroller.
Gas leakage is an important problem. It wastes energy and sometimes it causes harmful effects to lives. We have limited energy resources. Proper utilization of resources is need of the time. We have proposed a gas safety management system
using ZigBee to monitor flow and pressure of gas, earthquake, temperature, smoke and leak of methane. It also provides a health safety system simultaneously by automating the associated devices with its embedded programmed feature to procure the environment by completely eradicating the harmful source. Through this dynamic technology, we can establish a well economic and health caring system in this
rapidly developing era to excel our country.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
