2. Synopsis Of A Poem Rhyme
Hye Jung Yang
Dr. Solomon
ENGL 2530 C
April 2, 2015
History of Rhyme These days, many songs repeat the same sounds again and again. Also, singers and
songwriters say it is really important to create songs that are catchy and that everyone can sing along
to easily. Most songs that are popular worldwide are easy to remember because they constantly repeat
the same sounds. The repeating sound is referred to as rhyme , and according to Cambridge dictionary
it means two or more words with the same final sound, or the use of such words, especially at the end
of lines in a poem or song. The Billboard charts show weekly population of songs or albums in the
United States. If a song were placed in high rank on this chart, it would mean the song is popular in
world not only in the United States but worldwide. After learning this, I checked some of the song
lyrics that had high ranks, and I noticed the songs have a lot of rhymes. Moreover, Songs are not the
only type of media that uses words that rhyme. As Paul Muldoon said fifty percent of television ads
use rhymes. The rhyme is around us at all times. People just do not realize because rhyme comes
naturally to everyone. I actually thought the word Rhyme scheme was created in the twenty first
century. However, I realized that is not true after I learned about the sonnet in class. Usually, sonnets
use rhymes a lot. There are two major rhyme schemes on sonnet: Petrarchan (or Italian) sonnet and
Shakespearean (or English) Sonnet. Both

3. A Foundation For Studying Emotional Psychology
The main purpose behind the study conducted by Crivelli, Jarillo, Russell, Fernández Dols (2016) is to
challenge the authenticity of the universality thesis. Their intention is to question whether facial
expressions used to signal different emotions are universally comprehended. Therefore, do all human
beings signal certain emotions with the same, universal, facial expression? The studies conducted
regarding the universality thesis were used as a foundation for studying emotional psychology.
Making it extremely relevant to question such influential research, which appears to lack consistent
and convincing results. There are three main issues regarding the universality thesis. The first of
which is that, methodological challenges occur from studying culturally isolated societies. The most
difficult issue to overcome being the language barrier. Similar to how the Himba tribe has one word
(burou) for both blue and green (Goldstein, Davidoff, Roberson, 2009), similar language barriers may
exist in regards to emotions and facial expressions. For example, in a study conducted by Ekman, the
Fore of Papua New Guinea have no word to describe disgust (As cited in Crivelli, Jarillo, Russell,
Fernández Dols, 2016). In addition to this, in Western society, we are familiar with question and
answer formats. However, it may be intimidating in these culturally isolated societies, which could
invoke cultural norms. Secondly, the range of results appears to be problematic. Although a

4. When Daylight Became a Mere Spark
Anthony Brathwaite

Narrative Essay
When Daylight Became a Mere Spark In some weird way parents always think that first day after the
summer vacation is very exciting for their kids. They buy clothes all summer long searching for that
right outfit for the first day. You could hear the many conversations between the adults, who is
wearing what and how cute their little one are. I came to realize quickly that this event caused more
excitement for them than for the kids. I remember my first day like it was yesterday and I can t relate
to the excitement that many parents have today. It was a normal day in Barbados. Sunrise was very
beautiful, as it rides just beyond the cliff of the sea. A bright orange just five ... Show more content on

I knew if anything happened he d be there to protect me. Just at that moment I was feeling some what
comfortable in my skin, there was a startling clanging of the bell in the distance that made my heart
want to race back home. Fear rushed into my body as I wrapped my arms around my brother holding
on with all my might. I could just imagine how he must have felt, but he never said a word. As we
were making our way to his class line, I heard a loud screeching voice pierce my ears with pain.
Excuse me boy, you need to get to your class line right now. Not realizing she was speaking to me, I
continued to stay with my brother. Maybe that wasn t the smartest thing I did. The old, thin, wrinkled
skin lady started marching in my direction holding a piece of bamboo in her hands. She glared at me
and repeated even louder with more authority. Get to your class line at once. My world began to
crumble before my eyes, and darkness quickly overshadowed me, until daylight was a mere spark. I
remembered yelling to my brother, Selwyn, Selwyn, please help me. But my plea was in vain. The
bright start of the day became the darkest hour of my life. Surrounded by strangers as these foreign
eyes stared at me as the tears continued to stream down the cheeks. My heart was thumping in my
body like a bass drum in a school band parade. Saliva was absent from my mouth and throat like a hot

5. Divorce Is A Win And A Loss For Parents And Children
Divorce is a Win and a Loss for Parents and Children The divorce rate in today s society according to
Barbara Dafoe Whitehead is higher than ever. Although people have a legal right to file for divorce, it
is still viewed as an ethical problem. Barbara Dafoe Whitehead writes in The Making of a Divorce
Culture , that divorce has become an ethical problem in the United States. In today s society, divorce is
viewed as a social norm, and that couples should have a right to file for divorce with no stigma.
Although Whitehead argues that divorce is an ethical issue, she also shows reasons why couples
should carefully think of filing for divorce before making a final decision such as their children s
consideration. Whitehead successfully presents the divorce culture as a very serious ethical problem
by giving ideas of why parents are getting divorced, and how their children can be effected by it.
Although divorce is viewed as an ethical problem, people still have the right to file for a divorce if it is
for their own satisfaction. We never know what happens behind closed doors between a couple, and
what types of issues they are going through. Whitehead mentions in her article about how abusive and
how demolorizing some relationships can be. In her article, Whitehead states We must assume that
divorce is necessary as a remedy for irretrievably broken marriages, especially those that are marred
by severe abuse such as chronic infidelity, drug addiction, or physical

6. Essay On Progressive Movement
Michael Dudash
Professor Kersey
U.S. History (Post 1877)
28 September 2016
The Progressive Movement
The progressive movement, the era of change in a New America , occurred in the late 19th century
into the early 20th century. Debated as the most influential time in history, this period birthed three
amendments (17th, 18th, and 19th) along with much social and political change. Sandwiched between
societal depression , this was a breath catching interlude of reform and social justice. This movement
was definitely a people s movement. But what caused it? How did it start and why?
One of the sparks in the blaze called the Progressive Movement was the shadow cast upon the
working class by big business and corrupt politics (The Gilded Age). The big business interacted with
and basically controlled politics (mainly because of monetary control). John Powell said in his article,
Unraveling the Progressive Movement , Men such as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The big cities often favored middle class and upper class individuals. The standard and quality of life
was much higher for those with money. This may seem obvious, but the lower class individuals were
in diseased, highly populated areas in the slums of the city. These ghettos and slums of the cities held
a high number of immigrants. These immigrants were competing for low wage jobs, swarming into
heavy industrialized areas. Dr. Hansan, the author of the article, The Progressive Era , says, The
progressives came from a long tradition of middle class elites possessing a strong sense of social duty
to the poor. Progressives felt an obligation to help the lower class. The biggest group that helped were
middle class women. These women helped immigrants to speak English, helped with child care, and
helped with health care (Red Cross). Along with immigrants, lower class citizens were also helped.

7. Compare And Contrast Haritan And Japanese Feudalism
Japanese and the west European region has two different cultures, including how they rule their land.
However, Japanese feudalism in 1185 1333 and west European feudalism in the 8th century to the
12th century, they both had similar societies built on class hierarchy, with different philosophies and
morals, and different religions influencing the way they rule. Hence, showing that the two regions in
two different periods have many similarities with some differences that make them their own.
First, the two regions have similar class hierarchy societies. These class systems were heredity so you
were born into what you would be. With the constant warfare, is made the warrior class the most
important, these warriors worked for local lords. In Japan, these warriors are known as samurais and
were lowest class of aristocratic nobility. In Japan, women were allowed to become a samurai and
fight alongside the men. In Western Europe, however, their warriors were called knights and were the
third in their class system. Contrasting the Japanese samurais, women were not allowed to become
knights. Both warrior classes were bound by codes, the samurais had the Bushido code and the knights
had the Code of Justinian.
The samurais philosophy included the Bushido code while the knights philosophy contained the Code
of Justinian. The Bushido code includes many rules on how chivalrous men should act in their
personal and professional lives. The Bushido code gives eight different virtues of the samurai. They
include: (1) Rectitude or Justice, (2) Courage, (3) Benevolence or Mercy, (4) Politeness, (5) Honesty
and Sincerity, (6) Honor, (7) Loyalty, and (8) Character and Self Control. Some of these rules include
the first, rectitude or justice the Bushido states, Rectitude is one s power to decide upon a course of
conduct in accordance with reason, without wavering; to die when to die is right, to strike when to
strike is right. . It also says, Rectitude is the bone that gives firmness and stature. Without the bones,
the head cannot sit on top of the spine and hands nor feet can stand. In addition, without rectitude
nothing like talent and learning cannot make the human frame into a samurai. To preserve their own

8. Cesar Chavez Nonviolent Resistance Summary
Cesar Chavez argues about the importance of using nonviolent resistance to achieve change in society.
His use of historical allusions, pathos, and logos leave his audience with little doubt as to the proper
course of action. Further on in the article, Chavez adds power to his contentions with implications.
The boycott, Gandhi taught, is the most nearly perfect instrument of nonviolent change. This
implication to Gandhi, a notable and regarded advocate for serene resistance, adds validity to Chavez
contention by suggesting that Gandhi would have concurred with and bolstered Chavez claims.
Chavez increases on his believability by making a historical allusion soon after. Examine history. Who

9. Application Authentication And The Key Role For The User...
Introduction:
User Authentication plays the key role for the users to make use of the resources available in any
environment. With the advancements in technology, it has become quite easy for a person to find out
ways to access the data of the other person. It is very important to verify the true identity of the person
trying to access his/her data. The concerned organization or the business group has to make sure that
the person trying to access is the right user of the data and care must be taken in such a way that the
resources are not used for the wrong purposes. Making use of the correct resources by the right person
in a right way is the purpose behind the authentication. A customer is mainly concerned about the
security of his data ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Different authentication methods have their own user identification rates and the accuracy of an
authentication method depends on the environment being implemented. User authentication can be
performed by considering various physical human aspects like the typing biometric features, gestures,
lip features. Technologies like CBAT which is implemented in the server machine, Visual
authentication based on a single sign on token also are used for implementing the user authentication
methods. CBAT and Visual authentication methods need extra circuitry hardware to be implemented
and they make use of the software applications which are installed over them.
Section 2:
The authentication of users is done by taking in to account their physical features, as there are fewer
chances of different people having the same features. Physical aspects vary from individual to
individual. So the biometric features, Lip features, gestures can be used to solve the problems
associated with security, as they are unchangeable and are owned to a particular person. The biometric
used is the typing keystroke pattern features. The keystroke typing pattern varies from person to
person [6].The core concept of biometric methodology is that the input data from the user is taken and
the key stroke data is collected to calculate the key features. The calculated key features are used in
the creation of samples and compared against the classifiers which are

Elie Wiesel a Holocaust survivor and award winning human rights activist passionately gave his
speech, The Perils of Indifference, while in the White House on April 12, 1999. The speech was part
of the Millennium Lecture series, which was hosted by President Bill Clinton and his wife. Mrs.
Hilary Clinton introduced Elie as well, saying: It was more than a year ago that I asked Elie if he
would be willing to participate in these Millennium Lectures...I never could have imagined that when
the time finally came for him to stand in this spot and to reflect on the past century and the future to
come, that we would be seeing children in Kosovo crowded into trains, separated from families,
separated from their homes, robbed of their childhoods, their memories, their humanity. Indeed, the
events in Kosovo created an effective environment that Wiesel could use to tell the audience about
some of his experiences during the Holocaust and to communicate why humanity must fight against
the evil of indifference. Wiesel knows about that evil firsthand. How could he not with his experiences
in the Holocaust? This experience is a large factor in his relationship with the issue, and he references
it subtly several times, as he frequently uses the words we and us when talking about those who have
experienced the worst effects of indifference. The reason he felt such a need to communicate why
humanity should despise indifference is, in fact, because it so directly affected him. The

11. Discuss Epistemology And Its Relevance
Discuss epistemology and its relevance to intelligence analysis. Select at least two principal ways of
knowing, and describe their respective characteristics/attributes, strengths, weaknesses, and potential
for improving the quality of intelligence analysis.
Merriam Webster defines epistemology as the study of the nature, origin, and limits of human
knowledge. As applied to intelligence, the application of epistemology becomes highly important
when analysts are making judgements while assessing information that is not fully factual. Analysts
work with information that can be ambiguous, deceptive, conflicting, and even absent; yet, they are
required to produce intelligence products that are reliable enough for policymakers to act upon and
make decisions. In these situations, the analyst must make good use of epistemology to ensure that the
intelligence judgements are reliable. Regarding intelligence analysis, there are four epistemologies, or
ways of knowing , that are used: authority, habit of thought, rationalism, and empiricism. Science is a
fifth epistemology that combines attributes of rationalism and empiricism. An analyst must know
which epistemology he or she used to understand the errors that may be made and the self correcting
mechanisms needed to improve reliability. Authoritative epistemology occurs when an analyst relies
on another person s authority to make a judgement. Their basis of knowledge resides in a reference to

If you built a time machine and I had to choose between being sent to Sparta and the Salian Franks, it
would be a tough call, but in the end I would have to choose to live in Sparta. There are many reasons
behind that choice, but most of them tie back to me being a female and how each society treated their
women, both Spartan and Salian cultures treated women better then Roman society that being said
Spartan culture, according to Xenophon women were treated very similarly to the men in many ways.
In the beginning of Xenophon s Constitution of the Lacedaemonians Xenophon explain how bearing
children was a keep aspect of women s lives, but that this did not limit them in life but rather
expanded their horizons (Xenophon p. 1). Part of these other activities that women could be a part of
and were pressured, sometimes into were sports and physical activities, because this was meant to
build up their stamina for child bearing. The physical activities were not only a way to insure that

13. The Affirmative Of Affirmative Action Essay
Many affirmative action efforts have been made since the end of the Civil War in order to remedy the
results of hundreds of years of slavery, segregation and denial of opportunity for groups that face
discrimination. Many African Americans such as President Barack Obama, Senator Cory Booker, the
writer Toni Morrison, the literary scholar Henry Louis Gates, media star Oprah Winfrey, and rap star
Jay Z have achieved positions of power and influence in the wider society (Giddens, Duneier,
Appelbaum, Carr). However, today blacks and other minorities are still more likely to live in poverty,
be killed by the police, attend poor schools, and have unequal economic opportunities. This object of
this paper is to understand why affirmative action is still needed in the United State by discussing the
differences between whites and racial/ethnic minorities access to education and employment.
Racial Inequality in Educational Attainment in America Historically, African American, Latino and
Native American students were educated in wholly segregated schools whose funding rates were
several times lower than schools made up of all white students. These minority students were also
being excluded from many higher institutions (Darling Hammond). This happened until legal
segregation came to an end in the 1960s and many efforts were made to equalize school funding.
These efforts have made a substantial difference for student achievement and significantly narrowed

Sickle cell disease (SCD) is an inherited and noncontagious, lifelong condition. More specifically, per
Ohaeri, Shokunbi, Akinlade, Dare, 1995, SCD is a generic term for a group of genetic disorders
characterized by the predominance of sickle cell hemoglobin (Hgb). Hemoglobin is a protein in the
red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body. The disease produces significantly abnormal
Hgb molecules in red blood cells (RBCs). In sickle cell anemia, the red blood cells become rigid and
sticky and are shaped like sickles or crescent moons. These irregularly shaped cells can get stuck in
small blood vessels, which can slow or block blood flow and oxygen to parts of the body (Ohaeri,

simple blood test can show whether a person has sickle cell disease (Sickle cell disease, 2012, p.2).
Infants screening is mandated in the United States before newborn go home from the hospital.
Therefore, patients who present with SCD are typically aware of their diagnosis. However, although
SCD is present at birth, most infants do not have any problems from the disease until they are about 5
or 6 months of age. SCD results in early childhood death if left untreated (Sickle cell disease, 2012,
p.2). Recommended screening tests, noted in Sickle cell disease, 2012, and Paul, Castro, Aggarwal,
Oneal 1995, include hemoglobin electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, high performance liquid
chromatography or DNA analysis (p. 2 and p. 34). Some of the improvement in survival in sickle cell

complications such as acute splenic sequestration (Sickle cell disease, 2012,

their own side of the story. Throughout the texts, Didion and Thomas converge with one another by
means of their life experiences as southern Californians and also through using sensory details to

and, the burning of chaparral during these winds is natural (Thomas). She argues that the chaparral

more than the stuff of natural history...Right in the path of natural fires (Thomas). Her stance on the
matter is clear: homes being burned to the ground are not the fault of the fires, but of the moronic
humans who built them in the middle of a known chaparral zone. Didion, however, does not agree.
She argues that the fires are destroying homes in a sense of uncontrollable doom in the
aforementioned paragraph 5, The Santa Ana caused Malibu to burn as it did in 1956, and Bel Air in
1961, and Santa Barbara in 1964 (Didion). Didion believes that the brush fires of the Santa Ana winds

1. One phrase in Act Three that made a strong impression on me is said by John Proctor. On page 870,
Proctor says, There might also be a dragon with five legs in my house, but no one has ever seen it. I
found this interesting because it shows how foolish the people are to believe that Elizabeth Proctor is a
witch. The court accuses Elizabeth for keeping a poppet to use it to harm Abigail. Parris claims that
even though nobody has seen poppets in the Proctor household, Elizabeth could still have hidden
them. John Proctor replies with a rhetorical question that shows Parris s accusation as irrational.
3. I think Giles Corey provides comic relief in The Crucible through his dialogue. For example, Corey
says A fart on Thomas Putnam, that is what I say to that! (867). The use of the word fart in a

South Africa, unlike Zimbabwe, has a more mature and solid political system. Therefore, China has
been more prudent in its relation with that country (Taylor 22). In the past, South African leaders were
highly critical of the Chinese style communism and Maoism which was spreading in South Africa
calling for a total rejection of the country. However, China still got involved in the conflicts in Pretoria
in 1973 as well as in the struggle against apartheid in order to build their relationship with South
Africa (Taylor 135 139). While China was pushing for democratization in South Africa, it was

21. Sterotypic Stability
To effectively determine the ability and degree of personality change in middle adulthood it is
important to indicate the definition of personality continuity. The psychological consistency of a
person s feelings, beliefs and actions are defined as heterotypic stability. In heterotypic stability, it is
important to communicate behavioral expressions can present diversely during different stages of life
such as young children and adults (Donnellan, 2016). Researchers of heterotypic stability must first
identify the behaviors that are dissimilar over a lifespan but never the less represent the same trait
before continuity can be studied (Donnellan, 2016). Heterotypic stability is an important concept to
consider when analyzing personality change.

22. The Year Is 2008, And Bad Banking Practices Have Led Major
The year is 2008, and bad banking practices have led major companies such as Goldman Sachs,
Merrill Lynch, and AIG to near bankruptcy. There seems to be no way to stop the impending financial
crisis. But out of nowhere comes the Federal Reserve, with 7.7 trillion dollars of zero interest loans.
All looks well, until the housing market collapses. So what was the point of creating 7.7 trillion
dollars in assets if an economic recession would still occur? Why would the Fed bail out big
businesses at the expense of the taxpayer? The answer lies in the reckless, unconstitutional policies of
the Federal Reserve. The Fed bails out big banks and companies, unconstitutionally prints money, and
leads the dollar to its collapse. During the 2008 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With all that being said, the mortgages that were rated as excellent were actually bad for homebuyers.
To the homebuyers surprise, the interest rates rose and they could no longer afford to pay their
mortgages. This meant that the investors lost their money and subsequently stopped buying these
mortgage backed securities. This sent housing prices falling by thirty percent and the stock market
falling by fifty percent, and also led to nine million jobs being lost. Some of companies involved in
the mortgages, such as AIG, almost went bankrupt as a result. AIG lost all their money because they
insured these bad mortgages and had no money to pay for all the mortgages they insured. These
companies did this because they knew the Fed would always have their backs. Because the Fed bailed
these businesses out, they were essentially allowed to keep making money off of these bad banking
practices. According to Mike Collins, an editor at Forbes Magazine, the actual bailout of these
businesses turned out to cost $7.7 trillion, about the same as the US national debt at the time. Without
the Fed, the free market would have let these businesses collapse, allowing new and better businesses
to take their place, or even better, keep companies from using these bad practices in the first place.
After spending all this money to bail out big businesses, it would be expected that the average person
would have benefitted from this bailout. In

23. Stamp Act Dbq
Junior Gonzalez The Stamp Act was horrible for the colonists because they didn t have a say in the
stamp act, the tax was used to pay off the money they used in the French and Indian War. The
colonists tried to get rid of the tax collectors but this would result in the colonists destroying their
town, and the colonists boycotted British goods so they had to start making their own clothing or have
them wear the clothing for months. The British bought raw materials from the colonists, then the
British would make something out of the material they bought and then the British would sell it back
the colonists. But since the colonists refused to pay the additional tax, the British didn t want to buy
anything from the colonists, which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Colonist threaded the tax collectors with effigy which was dressing up a dummy as the tax collector
and burn it to scare them away. The Colonist and the British made each other look bad by drawing
political cartoons to make the locals believe that they can t do anything right and can t take care of a

24. The Risks Of Long Distance Human Spaceflight
Upon the consideration of long distance human spaceflight, the risk management plan in
correspondence must prepare the crew members before and during the mission, for risks which may or
may not occur, in the isolated confines of space. Specifically, the risks of meteoroid impacts,
malnutrition, and contamination were observed and their effects on the psychological and physical
health of the crew members was detailed. Only meteoroid impacts are singularly and in transit risk,
while both malnutrition and contamination are constant risks due to the human factor. Out the three
risks listed, the most harmful risk would be of malnutrition due to the extensive consequences which
can compound other problems. The main risk management method would ... Show more content on

2013).
Meteoroid impacts, although a common obstacle in science fiction movies, do not rank very highly on
a problem for a crew on spacecraft due to the very high dispersity of streams of meteoroids, their very
small size, and the very small size of a spacecraft in comparison to the vastness of space. Even the ISS
has a 1 in a 10 billion chance to hit by predictable meteoroid streams while in a very small orbit
(David, L. 2014). However, due to the large distance any communication signals would have to
traverse, in an emergency situation the astronauts would need to be able to act according to protocol.
To prepare for even this unlikely situation, crew members should undergo pre flight and routine in
flight simulations which involve safety measures of a breached hull, compromised oxygen supply,
damaged thrusters, or other mechanical failures (Phillips, T. 2002). Although considering that this risk
only pertains to the in transit portion of the mission and a meteoroid that penetrates the shell of the
spacecraft in living quarters would most likely result in the immediate lack of oxygen due to the
immense vacuum in space which would limit any opportunty to mediate the situation.
Nutrition, although taken care of since the introduction of multiple day missions, is the most important
risk factor to consider as it directly relates the health and ability of the crew member to perform their
duties. The lack of proper nutrients and vitamins can lead to increased bone

26. Three Sociological Perspectives
Throughout history various social perspectives have been observed in an attempt to explain and
classify different types of sociological behavior. Various theories have been made regarding the
sociological perspective, which examines the social contexts that people live in and how these
contexts effect the individual and society (Henslin 2). Each sociological perspective examines
something different and poses a different theory. Discussed here are three sociological perspectives:
the functionalist perspective, the conflict perspective and the feminist perspective. All three
perspectives are forms of social institutions or the ways that a society meets its basic needs (Henslin
104). However all three perspectives give us quite different views ... Show more content on

Published in a women s Studies Journal in December of 2015, Tracy Bowell explains this issue by
bringing to light the lack of women in almost every aspect of philosophy describing, .. three
connected, but different problems: the absence of women from the discipline of philosophy [such as]
teachers, researchers, the absence of women from the discipline [such as] its discourses, the texts,
debates, problems and the problem of the marginalization of feminist philosophical work. She goes on
to state, the nature of feminist philosophy has been seen as a potential threat to philosophical core
values. (Bowell 18). This is a perfect example of both anti feminism and the conflict perspective.
According to this article, women are still being treated unequally and one has to just take a look at the
entire field of philosophy both in its literature and teaching in the classroom to see how. Bowell states
females are being held in check by the opposite sex as a seeming attempt to keep the balance of power
tilted to the male side. This is also seen as an act of preserving the social order by the continued
absence of women from philosophical texts, and imbalance of women philosophy teachers, and as
women in philosophy being seen as a threat to philosophical core values this is a great example of
how the powerful or privileged positions (in this case, the male gender in

27. The Common Sexually Transmitted Infections Essay
HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI). This might be the reason why the
pharmaceutical company Merck Co. has invested time on making sure that the country is aware of
HPV. Merck Co has a few commercial about HPV and getting vaccinated. As a matter of fact the most
sexual active men and women will get at least one type of HPV at some point in their lives. People
have known about the Human Papillomavirus since 1956 because a group of scientist discovered it.
However, it was not until 1984 that a German Professor by the name of Dr. Harald Zur Hausen put the
connection together that HPV and cancer coincide with one another.
Since HPV is a STI the common way of contracting it is by having vaginal , anal, or oral sex with
someone who has the virus. It is most commonly spread during vaginal or anal sex. HPV can be
passed even when an infected person has no signs or symptoms. Because HPV often has no signs or
symptoms, males and females can get the virus without knowing it and then pass it on. Anyone who is
sexually active can get HPV, even if you have had sex with only one person. You also can develop
symptoms years after you have sex with someone who is infected making it hard to know when you
first became infected.
There are a few HPV vaccines licensed in the United States. All HPV vaccines are administered as a 3
dose series of injections that is given deep into the muscles over a 6 month period. These vaccines are
safe and effective. The first dose

28. Types Of Unstructuret Communication Data
Live chat conversation data is just one category of unstructured data that enterprises need to harness
for growth. The already vast amount of unstructured data continues to grow, and less than 1% of it is
analyzed. Unlike structured data, which exists in organized columns and rows that make search and
data analysis an easy task, unstructured data tends to be messy. It s of no use until it s properly
processed, analyzed and evaluated. Many large companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon, Netflix
are leveraging unstructured data to facilitate human decision making, automate simple tasks, and to
make the world a smarter place. The term big data is used to describe these unstructured datasets that
are so large and complex that traditional ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The computing power of one machine is not sufficient for processing huge data sets. Hadoop makes
this possible by distributing the processing load throughout a cluster of nodes, or different machines
that send messages to one another. Apache Spark is a powerful antecessor to Hadoop. It s more
accessible, powerful, and capable of tackling various big data problems. Its architecture is based on
two kind of abstractions: Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDD) and Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAG).
RDDs are a collection of data items that can be split and stored in memory on worker nodes of a spark
cluster. The DAG abstraction of Spark helps eliminate the Hadoop MapReduce multistage execution
model. In the words of Rajiv Bhat, Senior Vice President of Data Sciences and Marketplace at
InMobi, Spark is beautiful. With Hadoop, it would take six to seven months to develop a machine
learning model. Now, we can do about four models a day . Thanks to its speed and efficiency, an
increasing amount of companies are moving from Apache Hadoop to Spark. When you look at how
the respective compositions of the two frameworks, it s easy to see that Spark is far more elegant than
its predecessor. While both systems utilize a parallel distribution system, Apache Spark overcomes
limitations of the Apache Hadoop program, MapReduce, which forced a linear data flow on an
otherwise distributed network. When

29. Harry Arthur Is An Argument Of Globalization
Sara Aminaei Essay no.1 Q1. Harry Arthurs has argued that Globalization renders dysfunctional any
system based on national policies, laws, and institutions. Explain whether or not you find his argument
persuasive and support of your argument with reference to the substantive regulatory areas examined
in the course. The political climate in the western hemisphere has altered the judicial system in
Canada in numerous ways. Since the post war era we have seen a push for globalization and
neoliberalism and have been reassured consistently by the leaders on the global stage that this is
essential for our world economy to thrive. It is not reasonable to disagree with Arthur that
globalization has become a dominant theme and impacts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this light, Canada, as one of the most open advanced economies in the world , has close to 60 to 70
per cent of GDP, which is attributable to both exports and imports (Arthurs 3). The heavy reliance on
globalization in Canada traces back to the political climate of the early 20th century due to it being a
loyal ally to the United States. Of course, unlike America, Canada does not have privatized groups on
the same scale. For instance, the United States has privatized health care and prison systems (in light
of the recent Trump administration universal healthcare is currently unknown). Through privatization
of major organizations, the government cuts its responsibility for some of the public programs and
relays it to the public. These private organizations keep propelling their agendas to increase their
wealth and power. This creates a conflict for our society as the government is not serving the needs for
everybody but the needs for the upper class. This act is often reinforced by lobbyist groups. The
Internal Revenue Service (IRS) defines lobbying as a follows: an organization will be regarded as
attempting to influence legislation if it contacts, or urges the public to contact, members or employees
of a legislative body for the purpose of proposing, supporting, or opposing legislation, or if the
organization advocates the adoption or rejection of legislation. The IRS is careful with wording to say
