Harry T. Williams was born on May 19, 1909. When in college, he was encouraged by a professor to
study history. This professor s main interest was the Civil War era and had a great effect on Williams.
He attended Platteville State Teachers College (later Wisconsin State University at Platteville) where
he received a B.Ed in 1931. Williams continued education into graduate school was mainly due to the
lack of work during the Great Depression. He went on to earn a Ph.M. in 1932, and Ph.D. in 1937,
from the University of Wisconsin (Dawson 431).

transformation on Lincoln s selection process. Initially each general was selected on characteristics
such as battle experience and political backing. As the enemy holds out and there is inaction, Lincoln
starts to doubt the ability of his generals and starts to seek generals who can win without excuses.

2015 called, Effect of high intensity interval training on diabetic obese women with polyneuropathy: a
randomized controlled clinical trial. As diabetes is one of the leading causes of polyneuropathy and is
seen in one of six diabetic patients; these researchers wanted to know if high intensity interval training
would have an effect on the patient s polyneuropathy pain level and motor weakness. So they
organized this fifteen week study of forty women with this condition.
The forty women were between forty five and fifty five years old and had type 2 diabetes with
polyneuropathy and classified as class II obesity with a BMI of thirty five to forty. Preceding the
exercise intervention all of the participants were instructed to complete a seven item pain scale test
called the Leeds Assessment of Neuropathic symptoms and signs Scale (LANSS), a lower extremity
functional test and an oral blood glucose test. The BMI and waist circumference were also taken prior
to the high intensity interval training (HIIT) or moderate intensity aerobic training (MIAT)
intervention.
