1.1.3 Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes or sing songs with guidance. 
1.2.1 Able to participate in daily conversations : 
(b) introduce oneself 
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to; 
(a) introduce oneself 
Teaching Aids : Manila card, picture cards, textbook 
Activities : 
1. Teacher plays the cassette player and pupils sing the song. 
2. Teacher displays the manila card and pupils will sing the song using the same tune. 
3. Students refer to the textbook and replace the name with their name. 
4. Teacher conducts a audition with students and highlights the initial sounds of pupil’s name that 
start with‘s’, ’a’,‘t’, ‘p’. 
5. The audition will make pupils to introduce their name and say hello to their friends.

2.1.2 Able to recognise and articulate initial, medial and the final sounds in single syllable 
words within given context 
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to; 
(a) distinguish the shapes of the letters 
(b) articulate initial, medial and the final sounds 
Teaching Aids : Manila card, picture cards, word cards, textbook 
Activities : 
1. Teacher displays the picture cards. Students will name the pictures. 
2. Teacher shows word cards and students will say the words. 
3. Teacher corrects any incorrect pronunciation. 
4. Students will do exercises in Activity Book. 
5. Teacher corrects any mistakes. 
Assessment Remedial Enrichment 
Teacher shows the letters 
cards and students will write 
the letters in their writing book. 
Students point at the letter cards 
and teacher shows how to write 
the letters. 
Teacher makes students 
to write another letters.

(TUESDAY) 1 Cekap 8.10 a.m -- 9.40 a.m Focus : Listening & Speaking Theme : World of Self/Family and Friends Topic : All About Me Content Standard : 1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal situations for a variety of purposes. Learning Standard : 1.1.3 Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes or sing songs with guidance. 1.2.1 Able to participate in daily conversations : (b) introduce oneself Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to; (a) introduce oneself Teaching Aids : Manila card, picture cards, textbook Activities : 1. Teacher plays the cassette player and pupils sing the song. 2. Teacher displays the manila card and pupils will sing the song using the same tune. 3. Students refer to the textbook and replace the name with their name. 4. Teacher conducts a audition with students and highlights the initial sounds of pupil’s name that start with‘s’, ’a’,‘t’, ‘p’. 5. Learning Standard : 2.1.1 Able to identify and distinguish the shapes of the letters in the alphabet. 2.1.2 Able to recognise and articulate initial, medial and the final sounds in single syllable words within given context Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to; (a) distinguish the shapes of the letters (b) articulate initial, medial and the final sounds Teaching Aids : Manila card, picture cards, word cards, textbook Activities : 1. Teacher displays the picture cards. Students will name the pictures. 2. Teacher shows word cards and students will say the words. 3. Teacher corrects any incorrect pronunciation. 4. Students will do exercises in Activity Book. 5. Teacher corrects any mistakes. Assessment Remedial Enrichment Teacher shows the letters cards and students will write the letters in their writing book. Students point at the letter cards and teacher shows how to write the letters. Teacher makes students to write another letters.
