Talk about the pictures given with guidance. 2. Fill in the blanks using the correct words.   • 2. Stages Content Teaching & learning activities Remarks Set induction (5 minutes) Activity: Sing and dance “Hello Hello Hello” 1. Teacher plays a song entitled “Hello Hello Hello.” 2. Pupils listen to the song attentively. 3. Pupils guess the topic of the day.  To set the mood and mentally prepare pupils for the lesson.  Give pupils a gist on what they will be learning. Teaching aid: song Pre-listening (15 minutes) Sample of WH- question: 1. Can you tell me what the clothes that you heard? To introduce focused words: - Vest - Dress - Jacket - Hat 1. Teacher asks pupils some simple WH-questions. 2. Teacher shows picture cards. 3. Pupils need to guess the clothes showed by the teacher. 4. Pupils need to spell the words. 5. Teacher draws a circle map on the black board. 6. Teacher pastes all the picture cards in the circle map.  To attract pupils’ attention.  To drill pupils. Teaching aids: - I-THINK map - Picture cards Educational Emphasis: contextual learning.
  • 3. While- listening (15 minutes) Individual Work: Fill in the blanks based on the audio recording. 1. Teacher plays an audio recording. 2. Pupils listen to the recording. 3. Teacher distributes Task Sheet 1 and explains what pupils have to do. 4. While listening to the audio recording pupils complete Task Sheet 1. 5. Teacher discusses the answers with the pupils. To make sure pupils know how to collect information from the text that they heard. Teaching Aids: 1. Task sheet 1 2. Audio/song CCTS: Memorizing Educational Emphasis: contextual learning. Post-listening (20 minutes) Group Work: What are you wearing? 1. Teacher divides pupils into 4 groups. 2. Teacher distributes an envelope to each group that contains pictures of cloth. 3. In groups, pupils discuss verbally/orally the task in the envelope. 4. Teacher facilitates the discussion and guides the pupils. 5.
