Content Standard 2.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able
to apply knowledge of sounds of letters to recognise words in
linear and non-linear texts.
Learning Standard 2.1.3 Able to blend two to four phonemes into recognizable
words and read them aloud.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
a) Able to blend and segment the phonemes of the letters to
form a word 2 out 4 correctly.
b) Able to pronounce the phonemes of the letters to produce
a word and say the word aloud 4 out 9 correctly.
c) Complete the graphemes to form a word in the worksheet
based on the picture given 3 out of 5 correctly.

Subject English Language Day & Date Tuesday/4th August 2015 Year 1 Hambali Time 10.15-11.15 a.m (60 minutes) Focus Readig Skill Theme World of Self, Family and Friends Topic 14: Say It Nicely Content Standard 2.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to apply knowledge of sounds of letters to recognise words in linear and non-linear texts. Learning Standard 2.1.3 Able to blend two to four phonemes into recognizable words and read them aloud. Learning Outcomes By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: a) Able to blend and segment the phonemes of the letters to form a word 2 out 4 correctly. b) Able to pronounce the phonemes of the letters to produce a word and say the word aloud 4 out 9 correctly. c) Complete the graphemes to form a word in the worksheet based on the picture given 3 out of 5 correctly. Teacher explains the phoneme for every letter in the word that produces the sound of the word. 7. Teacher asks the pupils to repeat after her. 1. Pupils listen to teacher’s explanation. 2.
