Vitamin B1 is found mainly in tuna, sunflower seeds, and beans, and helps maintain energy and nerve/muscle coordination. Vitamin B2 is located in meats, dairy, and soybeans, and assists the body's defenses against oxygen damage. A lack of B1 can cause loss of appetite, weakness, and muscle sensitivity, while a lack of B2 results in light sensitivity, mouth cracks, and skin peeling. High doses of B1 may act as a natural insect repellent.
