roof is the covering on the uppermost part of a building. A roof protects the building and its contents from the effects of weather.
Structures that require roofs range from a letter box to a cathedral or stadium, dwellings being the most numerous.
In most countries a roof protects primarily against rain. Depending upon the nature of the building, the roof may also protect against heat, against sunlight, against cold and against wind.
COMPONENT PARTS OF A SCAFFOLDING
TYPES OF SCAFFOLDING
Single scaffolding or Brick layer’s scaffolding.
Double scaffolding or Mason’s scaffolding.
Cantilever or needle scaffolding.
Suspended scaffolding.
Trestle scaffolding.
Steel scaffolding.
Patented scaffolding.

This is useful for civil engineering students in their subject Building construction offered by GTU. This presentation includes Timbering of trenches, Scaffolding, Shoring 7 underpinning techniques used in construction of building for temporary period of time.
General Information of Retaining Walls about its type, design and functionality; This file does not comprise of detail study of the Retaining Walls but for a startup it may help students!!!
This Presentation is based on criteria by which selection of foundation is to be justified based on Study or either based on On-site experiences. This PPT helps civil engineering Students for better understanding term Foundation and how this can be classified. This Presentation contains classification of Foundation on basis of depth criteria, Soil criteria etc. This PPT gives Brief knowledge for Foundation Engineering students also.

Post-tensioning is a method of reinforcing (strengthening) concrete or other materials with high-strength steel strands or bars, typically referred to as tendons. Post-tensioning applications include office and apartment buildings, parking structures, slabs-on-ground, bridges, sports stadiums, rock and soil anchors, and water-tanks.

Welcome to WIPAC Monthly the magazine brought to you by the LinkedIn Group Water Industry Process Automation & Control.
In this month's edition, along with this month's industry news to celebrate the 13 years since the group was created we have articles including
A case study of the used of Advanced Process Control at the Wastewater Treatment works at Lleida in Spain
A look back on an article on smart wastewater networks in order to see how the industry has measured up in the interim around the adoption of Digital Transformation in the Water Industry.
Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
Saudi Arabia stands as a titan in the global energy landscape, renowned for its abundant oil and gas resources. It's the largest exporter of petroleum and holds some of the world's most significant reserves. Let's delve into the top 10 oil and gas projects shaping Saudi Arabia's energy future in 2024.

CW RADAR, FMCW RADAR, FMCW ALTIMETER, AND THEIR PARAMETERSveerababupersonal22
It consists of cw radar and fmcw radar ,range measurement,if amplifier and fmcw altimeterThe CW radar operates using continuous wave transmission, while the FMCW radar employs frequency-modulated continuous wave technology. Range measurement is a crucial aspect of radar systems, providing information about the distance to a target. The IF amplifier plays a key role in signal processing, amplifying intermediate frequency signals for further analysis. The FMCW altimeter utilizes frequency-modulated continuous wave technology to accurately measure altitude above a reference point.
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.
HEAP SORT ILLUSTRATED WITH HEAPIFY, BUILD HEAP FOR DYNAMIC ARRAYS.
Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.

Topic: Type of Footing
Course Title: Design of concrete Structures-II
Course Code: CE 323
2. IsolatedFooting
It is circular, square or rectangular slab of uniform thickness. Sometimes, it
is stepped to spread the load over a larger area. When footing is provided to
support an individual column, it is called “isolated footing”. Isolated Footing.
3. Mat foundations. A mat foundation, sometimes called a raft
foundation, looks like it sounds. It is a “mat” of concrete that sits on
or just below the ground; in other words, a shallow foundation. You
may have heard it referred to as a slab foundation, a common
choice for steel buildings
Mat Foundation
4. Combined
A strap footing is a component of a building's
foundation. It is a type of combined footing,
consisting of two or more column footings connected
by a concrete beam.
5. Pile foundation systems. Foundations relying on driven piles often
have groups of piles connected by a pile cap (a large concrete block
into which the heads of the piles are embedded) to distribute loads
which are larger than one pile can bear
PILE FOUNDATION
6. Cantilever footing
A footing used to carry a load from two columns, with one
column and one end of the footing placed against a building
line or exterior wall.
7. Floating foundation
Definition of floating foundation. a building
support on soft soil that consists of a stiff
reinforced concrete slab which distributes
the concentrated loads by columns to the
soil so that the pressure intensity on the soil
is nowhere more than the acceptable
amount.
