Ambiguous Figures In Pop Culture
There s always so much to be said about a person who doesn t say much. Be that in a sense of things
needing to be questioned or things needing to be proclaimed off rooftops, I personally enjoy the
esthetic of an enigma far more than that of one who Snapchats their every step. Ambiguous figures in
pop culture provide the allure of a celebrity who doesn t always (if at all) feel the need to tell what
they re doing, where they re doing it, who they re doing it with, and so on and so forth. In 2010,
Christopher Edwin Breaux legally replaced his lengthy birth name with the moniker that the world
knows him as, Frank Ocean. In a profiling written by Ernest Baker back in 2011, he described the
name change as the most empowering shit he did , one

The Metric System And Imperial System
The two main systems for the measurement are known as the Metric system and Imperial system. The
Imperial system is also known to be as British Imperial system, used in many parts of the world in
from 16th to the 19th century. Although the Metric system has gained popularity nowadays, the
Imperial system is still used by many countries, like the United Kingdom.
While working in these countries you may find difficulty in units. In Metric System we use gram as a
unit of measurement of mass and if you are told the mass in Pounds used by the Imperial system, you
will probably get confused.
In this article, we will explain the conversion of different units in pounds one by one. Before starting
the conversion there are few terms which are essential

Differences Between Meiosis And Eukaryotes
Eukaryotes can reproduce in two ways, via mitosis and meiosis. Mitosis is a process of cell division
where a single round of replication is followed by separation of sister chromatids to form 2 daughter
cells that are genetically identical to the parent cell. On the other hand, during meiosis, a single round
of DNA replication is precedes two rounds of cell divisions leading to the formation of haploid gamete
from a diploid parent (Figure 1). Figure 1: In meiosis, the DNA replication occurs in S phase followed
by two rounds of replication. Homologs are segregated during meiosis I and sisters during meiosis II.
Meiosis I is a reductional cell division, where sister chromatids are mono oriented and homologous
chromosomes that are pulled to the opposite poles. The proper segregation of homologous
chromosome is mainly ensured by meiotic recombination that leads to the formation of a physical link
between them (Chiasmata). Meiotic recombination also leads to the exchange of genetic material
between the homologous chromosomes, leading to genetic variation. Meiosis II (like mitosis) is an
equational division, where the sister chromatids are segregated to form gametes with half the genetic
composition as the parents. The two gametes from different individuals so formed then fuse via ...

Three of these are subsequently degraded and one undergoes a round of mitosis. The conjugating
partners exchange one of the progeny MIC that fuses with the other to form a diploid MIC. The
zygotic MIC undergoes two more rounds of mitosis. 2 of these form the new MIC and 2 form a new
MAC and the parental MAC starts to degrade. For the formation of the new MACs from the zygotic
MAC, RNAi mediated DNA elimination and chromosome breakage sequence followed by telomere
addition leads to the formation of the mini chromosomes with a reduced genome size (from 120Mb to

What Are The Pros And Cons Of Outsourcing Digital Marketing
The Pros and Cons of Outsourcing Your Website s Digital Marketing
There is no doubt that the option to outsource digital marketing activities for your company website is
appealing. Outsourcing is at most times convenient and blows less of a hole in your budget than hiring
a full fledged in house team. You may securely leave your company s marketing to a specialized
target= _blank Digital Marketing Agency or, better still, utilize the services of a skilled (and
affordable) freelancer, while you concentrate your entire focus on the areas of your business that need
your undivided attention.
Not all companies can afford to hire digital specialists, who belong to a new breed of journeymen of
all trades in online marketing having skills in SEO, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But keep in mind the advantages that an agency can bring to you a team of freelancers with various
skills and their own selection process may beat the extra cost.
Do not forget that even with freelancers and outsourced agencies you get what you pay for. If you pay
for cheap SEO, you may end up with poor quality links and content that could get you in Google s
black books. If a candidate promises 50,000 Instagram friends for $100, these are likely to be fake
friends. A $5 an hour website marketer is equally suspect if such people do not value their own time,
how can you expect them to value the work they deliver? 3. Flexibility: Outsourcing lets you hire only
when you need work done, especially if the projects do not have mission critical deadlines.
Freelancers are often more flexible than employees on your payroll, working 9 to 5. There are cases
when you may want to hire a freelancer despite having a small in house team, to handle all the extra
work that your in house team cannot manage. In such cases, you can achieve a fine balance of
productivity between projects on deadline and more flexible

My Future As A Military Officer And My Current Life At The...
This particular lesson I felt was extremely applicable to both my future as a military officer and my
current life at the academy. This reading focuses on conflict among members in an organization. The
reading describes common issues that lead to unhealthy conflict and how to avoid those issues.
Conflict is seen as a good thing in organizations as it creates a more complete understanding of the
choices, it creates a better range or options, and ultimately allows for effective decisions making.
However, it needs to be effectively managed to have a successful organization. Conflict can
sometimes turn unproductive, as comments can be interpreted as personal attacks. The reading offers
six tactics for managing interpersonal conflict. Of these six, I see the idea of focus on the facts as the
most important. This tactic states that the more information that one can provide to a situation, the less
likely conflicting viewpoints will be seen as personal attacks. This is especially true when data is
objective and up to date, as numbers do not lie and they are hard to argue. I see this often at the
academy when discussing possible changes in policy. Especially in situations that involve many
cadets. Often, discussions are very opinion based with little factual information because cadets often
do not have access to it. Because of this, these discussions often become a pointless debate. I could
make the assumption that this happens in an operational Air Force setting as well. In

Causes And Consequences Of The Social Identity Theory
The Social Identity Theory was created by Dr. Henri Tajfel, British Social psychologist, and Dr. John
Turner, a graduate student of Dr. Tajfel, in 1979. Social identity is defined as an individual s sense of
self in relation to a group (McLeod, 2008). This psychological theory is based on the idea of
discrimination between different groups; Dr. Tajfel and Dr. John Turner wanted to understand why and
how this intergroup discrimination occurs. The life experiences of the theorists, components of the
theory, and possible consequences of the theory contribute to how relatable this theory is to college
students.
To understand the foundation that the Social Identity theory was built on, one must understand the life
experiences of those who created the theory. Dr. Henri Tajfel was born in Polish Jewish family on
June 22, 1919. During his late childhood and early adulthood, Jews were despised by the Germans and
approximately six million Jews were executed during the 1930s. During the Holocaust, his immediate
family and closest friends were murdered by the Nazis. His life was spared, because he went to school
at Sorbonne in Paris, France, where he became fluent in French. Dr. Tajfel pretended to be French
male in the French Army. However, according to Vaughan (2017), he did become a prison of war in
1940 because of his assumed French identity. He would have been most likely killed if his true
ethnicity was revealed. Nevertheless, these life experiences encouraged him to do

Examples Of Classical Job Shop Scheduling Problem
1. Introduction The classical job shop scheduling problem (JSP) is one of the major issues in
production planning that each operation is performed by the machine for finding completion time.
Machine is fixed and known in advance. The sequencing of all jobs is assigned on all machines. This
problem is developed method to find the answer more effective and widely. The flexible job shop
scheduling problem (FJSP) extended from the classical job shop scheduling problem (JSP) that each
operation can be processed by any machine from a set of available machines at that time and effect to
flexible in the machine selection for more efficiency in the usage of the machine and without the delay
of waiting for production. Generally, the FJSP can be separated two sub problem; 1) a routing sub

minimize completion time or makespan. Therefore, FJSP makes the assignment of each machine more
complex than classical JSP. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

elections and lost to republican nominee, Donald Trump. Many democrats share the same opinion on
things such as abortions, immigrants and health care.
Over the past few years the topic of abortions has risen. While under Obamas rule, abortions have

Critical Understanding Of Turbofan Engines
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Turbofan engines are the family of jet engines being majorly employed on commercial aircrafts these
days. There are several reasons for this. This project aims at critical understanding of Turbofan by
adopting research methodology which also includes learning its limitations and suggesting new ways
to overcome the same.
As the name suggests, turbo refers to a gas turbine engine and the term fan refers to a ducted fan at the
start of the engine in order to increase the flow of the incoming air. Turbofan combines the high
efficiency of the propeller engines as well as the power obtained from jet engines. A typical turbofan
engine generally contains the fan, compressor (low and high pressure), combustion chamber, turbine
... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Essentially a turbofan engine is a turbojet with a fan at the front of the engine. This fan has not only
made the engine quieter but also more efficient. With increasing fuel rates and demand for sustainable
development ideas, turbofan has gained even more popularity due to its low fuel consumption.
Unlike any other air breathing engine, it gives a high thrust with low fuel consumption. This implies
that its specific impulse which is the thrust to fuel consumption ratio is high.
The by pass air is the factor for all these achievements of turbofan. The major thrust production is
done by by pass air and the residual by the core.
This project will address the Trent 900 and its variants in depth with respect to the technology and
how a theoretical turbofan engine is applied practically and commercially.
2.0 ROLLS ROYCE TRENT 900
The British firm Rolls Royce gave birth to one of its most successful series of engines namely,
TRENT series.
This series of high by pass ratio engines have three spools and is in use on several Boeing and Airbus
aircrafts.
The TRENT 900 powered its first flight of the Airbus A380 in May 2004. It is an offspring of the
Rolls Royce RB211.
For the A380 it typically comes in two thrust ratings, 70,000 pounds or 310 KN and 72,000 pounds or
320 KN. But it can achieve a thrust of 350KN.
The variants of this Trent family member are 970B 84, 972B 84, 997B 84 and 980 84.

Description Of A Static Ip Address
A static IP address is an IP address that was manually configured for a device, verses one that was
assigned via a DHCP server. A static IP address is called static because it doesn t change. This is the
exact opposite of a dynamic IP address, which does change. Static IP addresses are also sometimes
referred to as fixed IP addresses or dedicated IP addresses. A different technique to think about a new
static IP target is actually to think about such as an email target, or possibly a bodily property target.
These address tend not to actually adjust there re static also it tends to make getting in touch with or
perhaps discovering somebody super easy. In the same manner, a new static IP target is advantageous
when your number an internet site from home, have a very document server inside your circle, are
applying networked models, usually are owning a produce server, or perhaps if you utilize a new out
of the way accessibility program. Just because a static IP target never adjustments, different devices
constantly realize exactly how to contact a tool that uses one particular. For example, declare people
set up a new static IP target pertaining to one of many pcs at home multilevel. In the event the
computer has a unique target associated with it, it is possible to set up your current router to be able to
constantly forward a number of incoming asks for straight to that computer. Definitely not having a
static IP target using a new dynamic IP that may change would likely be

Chronic Low Back Pain Essay
Effectiveness of Therapeutic Exercises for Chronic Low Back Pain
Low back pain (LBP) is a major cause of disability wherein it involves nerves, muscles and bones of
the back (Luciana G Macedo, 2008). The sensation of pain that can be felt can be a dull constant ache
or a sudden sharp feeling (National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, 2015). The pain
felt is identified below the margin of the last ribs and above the inferior gluteal lines. The pain is
usually caused by certain conditions such as osteoarthritis, herniated discs, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.
Depending on its duration, low back pain can be classified as acute of the pain is less than 6 weeks,

Graph Theory Concepts and Strategies with Ticket to Ride...
Ticket to Ride is a board game created by Alan R. Moon that has been growing in popularity since its
first release in 2004 by Days of Wonder. The game components include a map with cities and defined
train routes, sets of 45 colored, plastic train car tokens for up to five players, destination tickets, and
colored train cards. The premise of the game involves collecting enough of the colored train cards to
claim or build train routes to connect various major cities in the United States and southern Canada to
earn points as well as completing routes designated on the destination tickets. The game itself is not
only a fun way to spend hours playing but it is also a good tool to showcase various concepts in graph

tickets not kept by a player are returned to draw pile for later in the game. Note that some versions of
the game remove any discarded tickets from play for the rest of the game. An example of a destination
ticket is shown in Figure 3.
On a player s turn, he/she chooses one of three options: Build a train connecting two adjacent cities
using sets of colored train cards to earn points immediately, draw up to two additional colored train
cards to be used later to build a train, or draw three additional destination tickets keeping a minimum
of one to earn points at the end of the game. Play continues in this fashion for each player until one
player has two or fewer train tokens left and then everyone still has one more turn.
The points earned from building a train connecting two adjacent cities are based on the length of the
route with the longer routes earning more points per train token. Routes of length one and two earn
only one point per token while a route of length three earns a total of four

Introduction
Israel is sought and acknowledged by many people for its religious tides. In this paper the readers will
gain extensive knowledge of Israel s history. In addition, readers will gain information on the
challenges that impact the way business is conducted in Israel through current culture and political
environments, business ethics, and corruption. As well as, trading, Free Trade Agreements, and trends.
Historical Background
The country of Israel was founded in early 1948 (Bard, 1998). Israel is currently, the only Jewish state
in the world and was recently ranked by US News and World Reports, as the 8th most powerful
country in the world in 2015 as stated in article Jewish virtual library (Bard, 1998). Israel has a terrain
which consists of mostly mountains, plains, coasts, and desert. The country has a population of about
7.59 million citizens with an annual population growth rate of (2009 est.): 1.7% (Background notes on

wealth from the country s natural resources in fertilizers and pesticides, petrochemicals and plastics.
Unfortunately for Israel, every good thing eventually comes to an end. While the country has had a lot
of natural resources in the past, the country began to see more pollution and a steady decline in the
country s resources in the year 2012. As mentioned in the article, The Environmental Impact of Israeli

The Short Happy Life Of Francis Macomber Analysis
The short story The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber, by Ernest Hemingway, tells the tale of an
African Safari and a man s journey to becoming courageous. The story focuses on Francis Macomber
and his transition from a life of cowardice to a life of courage. Hemingway surrounds Francis with the
secondary characters of the story, Margot and Wilson. Margot is Francis trophy wife, she believes that
her husband is a coward and has little respect for him. Wilson is the classic Hemingway character, he
is assertive, good with women, and shows no fear. These three characters exemplify the three types of
people that Hemingway believes to exist in this world. Margot Macomber, Francis wife, epitomizes
what Hemingway thought of women. She only focuses on her appearance, both her physical
appearance and her status. Hemingway went out of his way to mention her modeling career showing
her vanity and desire for others to see her beauty. Hemingway focuses more on her attempt to
maintain her high status image through her husband. When Francis had shown cowardice and a lack of
strength, she would then be ashamed of him and gravitate towards men that she found more
respectable. In the story she had an affair with Wilson, he was everything that she could wish for in a
man, strong, courageous, and not an embarrassing coward like her husband. Margot felt
disappointment with the weakness that Francis displayed during the incident with the lion. She
became upset when Wilson was talking about the incident and said, Let s not talk about the lion, she
felt shame because of her husband s actions and she worried about how it would reflect on herself.
Hemingway deliberately had her act this way because he felt that all women only care about status and
appearances. Robert Wilson, the safari guide, represents the manly man and what Hemingway
believes to be a man. Wilson embodies the ideal man, he is courageous, strong, fearless, and overall
acts like the quintessential man. Throughout the story he shows a lack of fear while facing the most
vicious and deadly animals on the face of the earth, he also has sex with a married woman, asserting
his dominance. Through the majority of the story Wilson is the foil character for Francis,

Discrimination, Discrimination And Discrimination Essay
Unfortunately, discrimination has been occurring in America for hundreds of years. Evidence proves
this when the European settlers began colonizing America and making the Native American people
their slaves. It didn t stop there, discrimination and racism was even more apparent when the Jim
Crow Laws were passed. The Jim Crow Laws enforced segregation between the whites and the
African Americans. For years, the unlucky Americans of all races, colors, and sexual orientation have
endured discrimination at some point in their lives. One major issue that many Americans endure is
discrimination in the work place. Throughout the years, learning how to avoid discrimination has
become a priority.
Police chief Crystal Moore of Latta, South Carolina had to experience her own battle with
discrimination. Chief Moore has been the Police Chief of Latta County for 23 years when she was
fired for reasons believing related to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender or LGBT lifestyle.
Chief Moore is an openly Lesbian Police Chief who has not encountered any issues prior to being
fired by Mayor Earl Bullard. Mayor Bullard had become Mayor this year, in 2016. When Mayor
Bullard was questioned about the termination of police chief Moore, he claimed it was due to the
seven reprimands of questionable behavior, difficulty with maintaining order and other reasons that
were not disclosed. Chief Moore claimed none of those reprimands were true, and she had done
nothing wrong or unethical. Chief

Female Domestic Violence And Violence Against Women With...
Female Domestic Violence in the context of religious themes within the writings of Pamela Cooper
White, can be seen through the analyzation of violence against women with relationality and power.
Cooper gives the example of a story of Tamar who yearns to have an I and thou relationship instead of
an I and it relationship where a female is just an object to be used. In Cooper s writings Martin Bruber
takes this objectivity to help understand the relation of abuser and abused. Also, Bruber commenting
on a context of desensitization of females from the perspective of military and media compounds the
problem with violence against women. Cooper relates this need for acknowledgement of female
person through scripture, Luke 6:31, Do to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Instead, God needs to be less about male power and instead that of a loving God that suffers with and
defends the broken and oppressed. Women are also being depicted as the bearer of sin and temptation
in a Christian spiritual context from Adam and Eve.
Women s struggles also have come from distraught feelings and thoughts on scriptures about turning
the other cheek and forgiveness as well as divorce as a sin and insolubility of Christian marriage. The
realization is that through the abuse, the marriage covenant of respect and honor are already broken.
Leaving an abusive situation then is not the breaking of any vow or covenant. Forgiveness is not of
just an apology, but rather of a true repentance of the violent acts, which through a process of
changing the violent ways is needed and not just a verbal apology.
The problem women face with violence is derived from a male impression of who and what God is,
male. The pastoral care then needs to address this long history of control and power of the male God
and human male. To look at God as not a controlling male, but rather as a loving caring God who
wants joy for all of God s human creation. The initial action for a woman who has been abused and is
in crisis is to listen to her. Finding out if she is safe. If she is suicidal to let her speak and find out if
she has a detailed plan. If needed, to call the authorities. If not, to have a discussion of her choice and
to discuss her situation.

Historical Significance Of Invictus
Invictus is a historical film that takes place during post apartheid South Africa. It was directed by Clint
Eastwood and starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. The film is based on John Carlin s book,
Playing the enemy: Nelson Mandela And Game That Made A Nation. It is mainly about Rugby World
Cup in 1995 in South Africa. Even though apartheid is over, there is a racial tension within the society.
However, Nelson Mandela, along with the captain of rugby team, Francois Pienaar, tried to solve this
by hoping for successful game. Most of the scenes in the film creatively demonstrate the historical
significance in an era of post apartheid. According to the film, Nelson Mandela became the first

Mandela mentioned that the poem affected him in a positive way as he never gave up on being the anti

instance, we respect our people despite the color skins in order to keep justice going and be satisfied
as humans. Also, the film is not only focusing on the sport but the relationship between justices and
discriminations within the society. In my opinion, Mandela was the hard working, inspiring president

Gilgamesh And Enkidu s Friendship
Gilgamesh and Enkidu s Friendship
In the Epic of Gilgamesh, friendship is a strong theme that drives the story. The bond that Gilgamesh
and Enkidu develop throughout the myth is a bond similar to that of brothers. Gilgamesh was fearless,
but arrogant and Enkidu was created by the gods specifically to keep the legacy crazed Gilgamesh in
check and to teach him humility; Enkidu becomes his conscience of sorts. Gilgamesh was oppressing
the people of Uruk and Enkidu and needed to put a stop to it by confronting and fighting him. From
what initially started as a violent encounter, their relationship bloomed into something that neither of
them could have expected. Their connection really takes off after their encounter with the giant
Hambaba and seals the deal on their friendship. They become basically inseparable and after Enkidu
passed it completely rocked Gilgamesh because he had lost a huge part of his life. Gilgamesh and
Enkidu s eventual bond is the perfect example of checks and balances within life making this oldest
hero s tale still very relevant today.
Gilgamesh was the son of the goddess Ninsun and the former King of Uruk Lugalbanda, this made
him one third man and two thirds god. He was created by Nintu, who is the great Mother Goddess, out
of clay. Many other gods had given him other qualities during his creation like beauty, courage, and
wisdom. Gilgamesh lived without any fear and did whatever he pleased even if it meant hurting
others. His behavior was so unruly

Cultural Values In Sibi And The Breast-Giver By Devi
Analyzing Sibi by Mahabharata and The Breast Giver by Devi and its contexts allow the audience to
pinpoint similar principles and values, despite obvious story telling difference. In the story Sibi, the
king sacrifices himself in order to keep peace because of the reoccurring selflessness as he cares or his
kingdom and all the living things in it. In a similar fashion, in The Breast Giver, Jashoda ends up
giving her life away in order to serve as a mother to many people. Both stories overlap the idea that
doing what is morally correct is for the greater good, even if that means self sacrifice.
The importance of integrity and honesty in Sibi results from the king s love and deep passion for
doing what is right. After reading both stories ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Moreover, the most obvious dharma that has appeared in the story is the king that has an obligation to
protect his kingdom and all living things in it. This fact contributes to the conflict of the story because
the hawk is also forced to defend his kingdom, being his family by supplying it with food. Because of
the king s brave actions, the king and the hawk both fulfill their destiny.
Sibi s story reflects the idea that there is no difference between good, bad, hero or villain. Both Sibi
and the Hawk have a duty to protect their own environments and the living things around them. One
of the Hawks duties being having to feed his own makes killing the dove a normal part of living. Even
though Sibi internally disagrees because the dove came from his kingdom he understands that the
hawk has to fulfill his destiny. By accepting this idea one can come to the realization that neither one
of the characters is wrong or evil. On the other hand, both of the characters could be viewed as heroes
since they act on their own dharma and positions in life.
Nonetheless, considering The Breast Giver, the Indian caste system seems to be extremely important
to the characters all throughout the story. The characters frequently mention each other with the titles
based on the caste system involving social position. The narrative portrays traditional reverence for
Brahmins as well off upper class men. Jashoda s

The relationships all have major similarities between each other. These begin with the problem in each

Behavior Involved in Mate Selection and Attraction Essay
Behavior Involved in Mate Selection and Attraction
Reproduction in Homo sapiens, as in all animals, is a primary driving force and has been elaborated
upon since the beginnings of society. Humans must take part in sexual reproduction to produce
offspring, thus initiation behaviors can be studied. Commonly, the male makes advances and the
female is the selector, or chooses the mate. For humans, this holds true and behavior is modified to
maximize competitive receptability. This phenomenon carries across all cultural boundaries and is
deeply rooted in the overall behavior patterns in the people of the culture. People try to refine their
natural appearance to maximize mating opportunity. The males attempt to enhance features for ...

These activities are part of the initiation process that leads to mate selection and sexual reproduction.
The participants in the mate selecting group also sported various forms of adornment to increase mate

females. Females displayed facial coloring (make up), clothing (some revealing of body), scents,
jewelry on hands, around neck, and in ears, and coloration of fingernails. Females could pose an

These types of behaviors witnessed were all part of the American cultural style of initiation of mate

different colors in this visual composition makes it pleasing to the eye. The faces are very similar to

Different Types Of Assessments That Have Been Standardized...
There are many different types of assessments that are used during different situations and some
during different times during the year. Each assessment has its own uses and also its own rules , which
can be categorized as formal and informal. Formal assessments are assessments usually given through
tests and are referred to as standardized tests. Informal assessments are assessments is mostly given in
natural settings and include tools such as running records and anecdotal notes. This research paper will
focus on formative assessments that have been standardized and will answer the questions of what,
why and how. Assessments, based on my understanding, can be simplified into three different areas
and each area is essential to the overall success of children as they become adults. The areas are
considered to be the purposes of assessment . The three areas include screening assessment, diagnostic

type of assessment should be used, in what situation. First, will it be an informal assessment? Or a

How To Write A Case Study Sam s Lymphatic System
I.We have reason to believe that the system that is being attacked in Sam is his lymphatic system.
There are many signs that point to this conclusion with the most strong point being his edema on his
right leg. This Edema, or abnormal accumulation of fluid, is believed to have been caused by a
compromised amount of function in the lymphatic system. This system s primary function is to pick
up and return leaked fluid from blood vessels. When this system can not function properly it could
result in an edema and pain, both of which are being experienced by our patient. The next point that
leads us to believe the lymphatic system is being attacked is the fact that there are signs of bacterial
infections. The lymphatic system also plays an immunal role in helping the body function, and if it
couldn t produce the white blood cells needed to fight infections, bacteria could potentially take over,
which could be the case with Samuel.

Children Vaccinated Against Common Illnesses
In recent years vaccines have been a major topic of discussion. While some people still think having
your children vaccinated against common illnesses such as chicken pox and the flu is dangerous, I
myself think it is perfectly fine to have your children vaccinated on the schedule recommended by
pediatricians. Some parents choose to have their children vaccinated on a delayed schedule, which I
still find acceptable. However, the parents who choose not to have their children vaccinated at all are a
danger to the public.
Unvaccinated people can cause outbreaks of viruses that have been eradicated. In late 2014 a measles
outbreak occurred when an unvaccinated child who was a carrier of the disease visited Disneyland.
This caused 173 people from seventeen different states to contract the virus that was eradicated from
the United States in 2002. In order for measles to be under control 94 99% of the population must be
vaccinated. With the recent trend of not vaccinating, measles, along with other once eradicated, or
nearly eradicated diseases are making a come back.
Since early 1998 autism and the MMR vaccine, a vaccine that protects the body from measles,
mumps, and rubella viruses, has said to been linked. In an article written by Jeffery S. Gerber and Paul

The Humanistic Approach To Psychology
Humanism, also known as the phenomenological approach, is a contemporary approach to psychology
that focuses on the whole person . It stresses the idea that a person is an individual and is unique.
Humanists look at behavior through the eyes of the person, not as an observer. Everyone needs to be
treated differently based on their unique personality. They believe that a person s behavior is
determined by their perception of the world around them, not their environment or genetics.
Humanism begins with the belief that people have free will, or personal agency as it s called in
humanism, and that all people are inherently good. It is believed that everyone wants to make
themselves and the world a better place. They have a natural born drive to fulfill their maximum
potential. Humanism emphasizes personal worth and basic human values. Humanists are not
concerned about instinctual drive, external forces, or past experiences. Instead humanists use the ideas
of love, fulfillment, self worth, and independence to help people as they are the basic human wants.
Humanism rose to prominence in the mid 20th century. American psychologists Abraham Maslow and
Clark Moustakas met with other psychologists in 1957 and 1958 to discuss developing an organization
devoted to a different approach to mainstream psychology. They wanted self actualization, creativity,
health and individuality to be the major focuses of the approach. In 1961, with assistance from

Within the film, Edward Scissor hands by Tim Burton, the composer uses film techniques to display
distintivitvely visual. The impressive use of camera angles and camera shots both encompass the
distinctively visual element. Camera angles are used to emphasise the characters view on certain
scenes, for instance, when Edwards the main character is staring at Kim, a young girl who lives in the

shows the deep scars that are on Edwards face, a sign of both pain and torment both from earlier on in
his life but also towards Kim s boyfriend, as deep down he knows things about her boyfriend that she

Subaru took a bold and very risky move in 2005 by upping the STI s engine from a 2.0L engine to a

the fire burning when it came to their continuous wins in rally tournaments. The new and improved
STI now sported a 2.5L turbocharged flat 4 engine, now pulling a little over 300 horsepower at stock.
The EVO did manage to hold up surprisingly well to the new STI while only having a 2.0L
turbocharged engine; however, The STI, on the other hand, does not disappoint in that area. Power
from the Subaru s larger 2.5 liter turbocharged flat 4 comes in early and seems to stay fairly linear

John Berger plays with this idea in his article Ways of Being. Essentially in that text he makes the
argument that duplicating an artwork, makes the original artwork have less of an impact on the
consumer than it would if it were not replicated. He gave an example with the Mona Lisa and various
other artworks. In seeing so many variations of the Mona Lisa, such as in print, on television, in
movies, printed on t shirts, et cetera, there is a hype that is built up about the original artwork.
However, when gone to see in person, the piece essentially lets the viewer down because it could not
live up to the standards that the replicas set for it. However, there is still the idea brought up in Berger
s writing that states, One might argue that all reproductions more or less distort, and that therefore the
original painting is still in a sense unique. This idea opens up the gap that Lacan introduces in his
writing, The Ideal I, between the original object and its other. In this case, the other being the
duplication. It is interesting that Berger s ideas connect to Lacan s ideas under this umbrella. In
searching for the perfect artwork, can the original be the one of true perfection? This relationship
between perfection, duplication, and idealization is very tricky to concretely take a stance on because
they are all so subjective. However, the relationship is essentially that the way to connect the

What Is Macarthur s Last Speech
General MacArthur was station on the Philippine islands during the start of WWII. He commanded all
of the U.S troops on the island and had his command center stationed on Corregidor (Biography.com,

outgunned, MacArthur was forced to retreat to Australia. When he arrived in Australia he made his I

Japanese off the islands. After a couple of years he finally gained enough troops to return to the
Philippines. Once he was on the island he gave his I have returned speech (Breuer, 2001). Reasons for
Going Back The general consensus is that MacArthur went back because of his father s past, his
personal ego, or because of his national duty. Many biographers or historians can agree that he went
back for at least one of these reasons. Geoffrey Perret said MacArthur saw his return to the Philippines
as a way of redeeming American national pride and honor. And his own pride and honor (PBS, 2012).

As part of this process of globalization, individual country economies tend to disappear. The products
that are consumed in the domestic market and the products that go to the foreign markets are those

The Growth of the Labour Party and the Decline of the Liberal Party
At the end of World War One in November 1918 the Labour Party emerged as a strong political Party.
Prior to this it was the Liberal Party that was expected to be the main opposition to the Conservatives,
with Labour as a party who used the popularity of the Liberals to become noticed. However, it soon
became apparent that the Liberals were a weak and flagging party who were unable to unite as one to
make decisions. It is evident that the First World War may have been an important factor in the growth
of Labour and the decline of the Liberals.
It seems that the decline of the Liberals began with several problems that can be traced back to pre
war times. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Liberals were hesitant to support women s suffrage because it was hard to know whom women
would vote for. Between 1911 and 1914 the Suffragettes became increasingly militant as the Liberals
refused to find parliamentary time to debate the question. The party claimed the issue was a
constitutional not a moral question . The suffragette issue damaged the Liberals as their evident
reluctance to treat it as a matter of belief weakened their moral standing. Their failure to resolve the
issue proved to be a political embarrassment.
Between 1908 and 1914 the position of Trade Unions legally improved, but these years also saw the
most active period of Trade Union action. This included industrial unrest and much strike action. Two
reasons have been given to justify this industrial unrest: syndicalism or a response to the current social
and economic conditions. However, it is possible that the Liberal government were to blame for this
industrial unrest. They were accused of not taking quick enough action to reverse the Osbourne
judgement (where Trade Unions could not ask for a political levy) which was a great embarrassment
to them. The political levy was declared illegal in 1909 after a union used part of the fees to fund the
Labour Party. There was then a feeling that Liberals were determined to undermine the Labour

  • 2. Ambiguous Figures In Pop Culture There s always so much to be said about a person who doesn t say much. Be that in a sense of things needing to be questioned or things needing to be proclaimed off rooftops, I personally enjoy the esthetic of an enigma far more than that of one who Snapchats their every step. Ambiguous figures in pop culture provide the allure of a celebrity who doesn t always (if at all) feel the need to tell what they re doing, where they re doing it, who they re doing it with, and so on and so forth. In 2010, Christopher Edwin Breaux legally replaced his lengthy birth name with the moniker that the world knows him as, Frank Ocean. In a profiling written by Ernest Baker back in 2011, he described the name change as the most empowering shit he did , one ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. Differences Between Meiosis And Eukaryotes Eukaryotes can reproduce in two ways, via mitosis and meiosis. Mitosis is a process of cell division where a single round of replication is followed by separation of sister chromatids to form 2 daughter cells that are genetically identical to the parent cell. On the other hand, during meiosis, a single round of DNA replication is precedes two rounds of cell divisions leading to the formation of haploid gamete from a diploid parent (Figure 1). Figure 1: In meiosis, the DNA replication occurs in S phase followed by two rounds of replication. Homologs are segregated during meiosis I and sisters during meiosis II. Meiosis I is a reductional cell division, where sister chromatids are mono oriented and homologous chromosomes that are pulled to the opposite poles. The proper segregation of homologous chromosome is mainly ensured by meiotic recombination that leads to the formation of a physical link between them (Chiasmata). Meiotic recombination also leads to the exchange of genetic material between the homologous chromosomes, leading to genetic variation. Meiosis II (like mitosis) is an equational division, where the sister chromatids are segregated to form gametes with half the genetic composition as the parents. The two gametes from different individuals so formed then fuse via ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Three of these are subsequently degraded and one undergoes a round of mitosis. The conjugating partners exchange one of the progeny MIC that fuses with the other to form a diploid MIC. The zygotic MIC undergoes two more rounds of mitosis. 2 of these form the new MIC and 2 form a new MAC and the parental MAC starts to degrade. For the formation of the new MACs from the zygotic MAC, RNAi mediated DNA elimination and chromosome breakage sequence followed by telomere addition leads to the formation of the mini chromosomes with a reduced genome size (from 120Mb to ... • 5. What Are The Pros And Cons Of Outsourcing Digital Marketing The Pros and Cons of Outsourcing Your Website s Digital Marketing There is no doubt that the option to outsource digital marketing activities for your company website is appealing. Outsourcing is at most times convenient and blows less of a hole in your budget than hiring a full fledged in house team. You may securely leave your company s marketing to a specialized target= _blank Digital Marketing Agency or, better still, utilize the services of a skilled (and affordable) freelancer, while you concentrate your entire focus on the areas of your business that need your undivided attention. Not all companies can afford to hire digital specialists, who belong to a new breed of journeymen of all trades in online marketing having skills in SEO, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... But keep in mind the advantages that an agency can bring to you a team of freelancers with various skills and their own selection process may beat the extra cost. Do not forget that even with freelancers and outsourced agencies you get what you pay for. If you pay for cheap SEO, you may end up with poor quality links and content that could get you in Google s black books. If a candidate promises 50,000 Instagram friends for $100, these are likely to be fake friends. A $5 an hour website marketer is equally suspect if such people do not value their own time, how can you expect them to value the work they deliver? 3. Flexibility: Outsourcing lets you hire only when you need work done, especially if the projects do not have mission critical deadlines. Freelancers are often more flexible than employees on your payroll, working 9 to 5. There are cases when you may want to hire a freelancer despite having a small in house team, to handle all the extra work that your in house team cannot manage. In such cases, you can achieve a fine balance of productivity between projects on deadline and more flexible ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. My Future As A Military Officer And My Current Life At The... This particular lesson I felt was extremely applicable to both my future as a military officer and my current life at the academy. This reading focuses on conflict among members in an organization. The reading describes common issues that lead to unhealthy conflict and how to avoid those issues. Conflict is seen as a good thing in organizations as it creates a more complete understanding of the choices, it creates a better range or options, and ultimately allows for effective decisions making. However, it needs to be effectively managed to have a successful organization. Conflict can sometimes turn unproductive, as comments can be interpreted as personal attacks. The reading offers six tactics for managing interpersonal conflict. Of these six, I see the idea of focus on the facts as the most important. This tactic states that the more information that one can provide to a situation, the less likely conflicting viewpoints will be seen as personal attacks. This is especially true when data is objective and up to date, as numbers do not lie and they are hard to argue. I see this often at the academy when discussing possible changes in policy. Especially in situations that involve many cadets. Often, discussions are very opinion based with little factual information because cadets often do not have access to it. Because of this, these discussions often become a pointless debate. I could make the assumption that this happens in an operational Air Force setting as well. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Causes And Consequences Of The Social Identity Theory The Social Identity Theory was created by Dr. Henri Tajfel, British Social psychologist, and Dr. John Turner, a graduate student of Dr. Tajfel, in 1979. Social identity is defined as an individual s sense of self in relation to a group (McLeod, 2008). This psychological theory is based on the idea of discrimination between different groups; Dr. Tajfel and Dr. John Turner wanted to understand why and how this intergroup discrimination occurs. The life experiences of the theorists, components of the theory, and possible consequences of the theory contribute to how relatable this theory is to college students. To understand the foundation that the Social Identity theory was built on, one must understand the life experiences of those who created the theory. Dr. Henri Tajfel was born in Polish Jewish family on June 22, 1919. During his late childhood and early adulthood, Jews were despised by the Germans and approximately six million Jews were executed during the 1930s. During the Holocaust, his immediate family and closest friends were murdered by the Nazis. His life was spared, because he went to school at Sorbonne in Paris, France, where he became fluent in French. Dr. Tajfel pretended to be French male in the French Army. However, according to Vaughan (2017), he did become a prison of war in 1940 because of his assumed French identity. He would have been most likely killed if his true ethnicity was revealed. Introduction The classical job shop scheduling problem (JSP) is one of the major issues in production planning that each operation is performed by the machine for finding completion time. Machine is fixed and known in advance. The sequencing of all jobs is assigned on all machines. This problem is developed method to find the answer more effective and widely. There are several reasons for this. This project aims at critical understanding of Turbofan by adopting research methodology which also includes learning its limitations and suggesting new ways to overcome the same. As the name suggests, turbo refers to a gas turbine engine and the term fan refers to a ducted fan at the start of the engine in order to increase the flow of the incoming air. Turbofan combines the high efficiency of the propeller engines as well as the power obtained from jet engines. Essentially a turbofan engine is a turbojet with a fan at the front of the engine. This fan has not only made the engine quieter but also more efficient. With increasing fuel rates and demand for sustainable development ideas, turbofan has gained even more popularity due to its low fuel consumption. Unlike any other air breathing engine, it gives a high thrust with low fuel consumption. This implies that its specific impulse which is the thrust to fuel consumption ratio is high. The by pass air is the factor for all these achievements of turbofan. The major thrust production is done by by pass air and the residual by the core. This project will address the Trent 900 and its variants in depth with respect to the technology and how a theoretical turbofan engine is applied practically and commercially. 2.0 ROLLS ROYCE TRENT 900 The British firm Rolls Royce gave birth to one of its most successful series of engines namely, TRENT series. • 19. The Short Happy Life Of Francis Macomber Analysis The short story The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber, by Ernest Hemingway, tells the tale of an African Safari and a man s journey to becoming courageous. The story focuses on Francis Macomber and his transition from a life of cowardice to a life of courage. Hemingway surrounds Francis with the secondary characters of the story, Margot and Wilson. Margot is Francis trophy wife, she believes that her husband is a coward and has little respect for him. Wilson is the classic Hemingway character, he is assertive, good with women, and shows no fear. These three characters exemplify the three types of people that Hemingway believes to exist in this world. Margot Macomber, Francis wife, epitomizes what Hemingway thought of women. She only focuses on her appearance, both her physical appearance and her status. Hemingway went out of his way to mention her modeling career showing her vanity and desire for others to see her beauty. Hemingway focuses more on her attempt to maintain her high status image through her husband. When Francis had shown cowardice and a lack of strength, she would then be ashamed of him and gravitate towards men that she found more respectable. In the story she had an affair with Wilson, he was everything that she could wish for in a man, strong, courageous, and not an embarrassing coward like her husband. Margot felt disappointment with the weakness that Francis displayed during the incident with the lion. She became upset when Wilson was talking about the incident and said, Let s not talk about the lion, she felt shame because of her husband s actions and she worried about how it would reflect on herself. Hemingway deliberately had her act this way because he felt that all women only care about status and appearances. Robert Wilson, the safari guide, represents the manly man and what Hemingway believes to be a man. Wilson embodies the ideal man, he is courageous, strong, fearless, and overall acts like the quintessential man. Throughout the story he shows a lack of fear while facing the most vicious and deadly animals on the face of the earth, he also has sex with a married woman, asserting his dominance. Female Domestic Violence in the context of religious themes within the writings of Pamela Cooper White, can be seen through the analyzation of violence against women with relationality and power. In Cooper s writings Martin Bruber takes this objectivity to help understand the relation of abuser and abused. Instead, God needs to be less about male power and instead that of a loving God that suffers with and defends the broken and oppressed. Women are also being depicted as the bearer of sin and temptation in a Christian spiritual context from Adam and Eve. Women s struggles also have come from distraught feelings and thoughts on scriptures about turning the other cheek and forgiveness as well as divorce as a sin and insolubility of Christian marriage. The realization is that through the abuse, the marriage covenant of respect and honor are already broken. Leaving an abusive situation then is not the breaking of any vow or covenant. Forgiveness is not of just an apology, but rather of a true repentance of the violent acts, which through a process of changing the violent ways is needed and not just a verbal apology. The problem women face with violence is derived from a male impression of who and what God is, male. The pastoral care then needs to address this long history of control and power of the male God and human male. Humans must take part in sexual reproduction to produce offspring, thus initiation behaviors can be studied. Commonly, the male makes advances and the female is the selector, or chooses the mate. One can see from the repeating faces and the words The rise of women = the rise of the nation circling the faces in the center of the poster. It also gives more closure than it would have without the bold, red text. The repetition of faces and words in different colors in this visual composition makes it pleasing to the eye. The faces are very similar to each other, but with subtle differences, such as the three mouths, eyelashes, and the beige face has more hair than the other two. The three faces work well together because they are very different from each other in color and they have the same texture. There are many signs that point to this conclusion with the most strong point being his edema on his right leg. This Edema, or abnormal accumulation of fluid, is believed to have been caused by a compromised amount of function in the lymphatic system. This system s primary function is to pick up and return leaked fluid from blood vessels. When this system can not function properly it could result in an edema and pain, both of which are being experienced by our patient. The next point that leads us to believe the lymphatic system is being attacked is the fact that there are signs of bacterial infections. The lymphatic system also plays an immunal role in helping the body function, and if it couldn t produce the white blood cells needed to fight infections, bacteria could potentially take over, which could be the case with Samuel. While some people still think having your children vaccinated against common illnesses such as chicken pox and the flu is dangerous, I myself think it is perfectly fine to have your children vaccinated on the schedule recommended by pediatricians. Some parents choose to have their children vaccinated on a delayed schedule, which I still find acceptable. However, the parents who choose not to have their children vaccinated at all are a danger to the public. Unvaccinated people can cause outbreaks of viruses that have been eradicated. In late 2014 a measles outbreak occurred when an unvaccinated child who was a carrier of the disease visited Disneyland. This caused 173 people from seventeen different states to contract the virus that was eradicated from the United States in 2002. In order for measles to be under control 94 99% of the population must be vaccinated. With the recent trend of not vaccinating, measles, along with other once eradicated, or nearly eradicated diseases are making a come back. Since early 1998 autism and the MMR vaccine, a vaccine that protects the body from measles, mumps, and rubella viruses, has said to been linked. In an article written by Jeffery S. Gerber and Paul A. • 33. The Humanistic Approach To Psychology Humanism, also known as the phenomenological approach, is a contemporary approach to psychology that focuses on the whole person . It stresses the idea that a person is an individual and is unique. Humanists look at behavior through the eyes of the person, not as an observer. Everyone needs to be treated differently based on their unique personality. They believe that a person s behavior is determined by their perception of the world around them, not their environment or genetics. Humanism begins with the belief that people have free will, or personal agency as it s called in humanism, and that all people are inherently good. It is believed that everyone wants to make themselves and the world a better place. They have a natural born drive to fulfill their maximum potential. Humanism emphasizes personal worth and basic human values. Humanists are not concerned about instinctual drive, external forces, or past experiences. Instead humanists use the ideas of love, fulfillment, self worth, and independence to help people as they are the basic human wants. Humanism rose to prominence in the mid 20th century. American psychologists Abraham Maslow and Clark Moustakas met with other psychologists in 1957 and 1958 to discuss developing an organization devoted to a different approach to mainstream psychology. They wanted self actualization, creativity, health and individuality to be the major focuses of the approach. In 1961, with assistance from Brandeis University, the ... John Berger plays with this idea in his article Ways of Being. Essentially in that text he makes the argument that duplicating an artwork, makes the original artwork have less of an impact on the consumer than it would if it were not replicated. He gave an example with the Mona Lisa and various other artworks. In seeing so many variations of the Mona Lisa, such as in print, on television, in movies, printed on t shirts, et cetera, there is a hype that is built up about the original artwork. However, when gone to see in person, the piece essentially lets the viewer down because it could not live up to the standards that the replicas set for it. However, there is still the idea brought up in Berger s writing that states, One might argue that all reproductions more or less distort, and that therefore the original painting is still in a sense unique. This idea opens up the gap that Lacan introduces in his writing, The Ideal I, between the original object and its other. In this case, the other being the duplication. It is interesting that Berger s ideas connect to Lacan s ideas under this umbrella. In searching for the perfect artwork, can the original be the one of true perfection? Once he was on the island he gave his I have returned speech (Breuer, 2001). Reasons for Going Back The general consensus is that MacArthur went back because of his father s past, his personal ego, or because of his national duty. Many biographers or historians can agree that he went back for at least one of these reasons. Geoffrey Perret said MacArthur saw his return to the Philippines as a way of redeeming American national pride and honor. And his own pride and honor (PBS, 2012). However, it soon became apparent that the Liberals were a weak and flagging party who were unable to unite as one to make decisions. The suffragette issue damaged the Liberals as their evident reluctance to treat it as a matter of belief weakened their moral standing. Two reasons have been given to justify this industrial unrest: syndicalism or a response to the current social and economic conditions.
