Georgia Southwestern State University Essay
During my first semester at Georgia Southwestern State University, I realized that there are several positive and negative aspects to living on campus. As a
student who lives on campus, I observe these every day. Some aspects are beneficial to students like the fitness center and student organizations because they
help to enhance the health, intellect, and entertainment of life on campus. Some aspects are not beneficial to students like the lack of cleanliness in the
dormitories and the food in the cafeteria because they prohibit students from enjoying life on campus. I would like to bring attention to a negative aspect of
living on campus because I think that it needs to be improved to make life easier for students on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University. The
washers and dryers that are available for the use of students have several issues. I know this because I have used the washers and dryers on campus, and I have
talked to other students about them. They are outdated, irresponsibly taken care of, and too expensive to use. The washers and dryers that are in the dormitories
are very outdated. It is easy to see that they are old. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many students do not feel comfortable using the washers and dryers because there are many things that could happen to their laundry like it could be stolen by
other students. After using the washers and dryers on campus, I will not use them again because it was not a great experience. I know what washers and dryers
are supposed to do because I do my own laundry at home, and the washers and dryers on campus do not do what they are supposed to do. Until the quality of
the washers and dryers improves on campus, they will continue to be a negative aspect for students who live on campus at Georgia Southwestern State
University because they do not make campus life

Dwight D. Eisenhower s Fight Against Homosexuals
In 1953, Dwight D. Eisenhower became the 34th President of the Unite States. His main goal was to keep pressure on the Soviet Union during the early stages
of the Cold War. During his Presidency, Eisenhower brought back many of the old traditional values and fiercely attacked homosexuality and sexual
immorality.
Born into a strong religious household, Eisenhower believed that sex offenders and homosexuals posed a national security risk; therefore, they should not be
allowed employment into any Government positions. Eisenhower s administration claimed that because of their sexual orientation, homosexuals were more
susceptible to blackmail by a communist enemy. Because of that, on April of 1953, Eisenhower issued Executive Order 10450 which revoked President
Truman s 1947 Executive Order 9835. In this new order, Eisenhower charged the heads of all federal agencies, with the assistance of the FBI, with
investigating all federal employees to discover if they posed security risks. Also ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
McLeod increased the fight against homosexuals and sexual offenders by creating a special branch called Miscellaneous M Unit. The M Unit used a variety of
techniques to expose homosexuals, with the most successful ones being polygraph tests and personal interviews. Under McLeod s guidance, the M Unit forced
many federal employees accused of any sexual deviation, to resign. Many others forced into confessions after prolonged interrogations. In addition to what
was happening in the United States, many Government Officials feared that homosexuals that worked in international organizations would create a scandal that
will bring negative attention to the United States. Therefore, America demanded that the other U.N. nations take the same stand against homosexuality. Britain,
Canada and Australia soon followed the United States

Hayao Miyazaki and Animated Film Essay
Getting inspired is something that can happen unexpectedly. A single thing can just set the stage for an amazing creation to come about. Much of what people
are exposed to due to the media and also literature can really affect someone s life. Hayao Miyazaki is a film director, animator, screenwriter and also producer.
He is someone who s work really changed my perspective on animation and also the conventional idea of a hero. Miyazaki was born on January 5, 1941 in
Japan. His parents were Dola and Katsuji Miyazaki. His father Katsuji Miyazaki and worked for Miyazaki Airplanes which was Miyazaki s uncles business.
The company manufactured parts for warplanes that were used during World War II. Miyazaki had three brothers which ... Show more content on

The following year Miyazaki also met Akemi Ota, an animator that then became his wife in 1968. Overall Miyazaki worked in a total of six different
animation studios, his positions varied from director to animator but his work also influenced many other directors or screenwriters within those companies.
Having grown independent from the companies he set off to start his own company known today as Studio Ghibli. Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985. The
studio was created due to a collaboration by Hayao Miyazaki, his friend Isao Takahata, and also producer Toshio Suzuki. There furst film collaboration was
done in 1984, with the film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Many people believe that this film is what set the stage for Studio Ghibli to be created. Much
of the studio s success has not solely been due to Miyazaki, but also because of his associates. One of the most prominent films from the studio was directed by
Isao Takahata, the film is Grave of the Fireflies, which depicts the story of orphans living in Japan during World War II. The company is also well known for
their no edits policy which basically states that the film cannot be altered when being dubbed. However, this policy has caused many issues with American
companies because some films have been Americanized or altered, which then tends to change the message of the story and the plot. With the great success
that Studio Ghibli has had Miyazaki

Assault Rifle Research Paper
Assault Rifles It is argued whether the phrase assault rifle, which came in the American lexicon around the 1980 s,first originated as political ploy by firearm
control advocates or as a marketing ploy by firearm retailers. What is for sure is that assault weapon is not a technical term, it was a phrase of art used by gun
manufactures, or for the army. The nearest in those groups is the phrase assault rifle which is a military medium caliber, fired at the shoulder the shooter is
allowed to select between semi automatic which shoots one bullet per pull of the trigger and the other option is fully automatic which continues to fire bullets
while the trigger is being pressed and there is a three shot fire also and it shoots 3 bullets each

I Used To Tell You Analysis
Poetry during the Roman empire played a prevalent role in society along with what was being discussed and studied around the cities under their rule.
However, what is less known are the roles society and the people played, in what type of poetry, language, and tone were used. Latin poetry, through
symbolism and humanity s ideology, represents the evolution of the Roman era and government. Latin literature leaves behind a lasting legacy of the culture of
ancient Rome. Some of the earliest works are historical epics telling of the early military history of Rome, followed by comedies, histories and tragedies. The
comedies were the earliest as the Roman empire was strong and they could have fun because there was nothing to worry about. The tragedies were written
during the collapse of the Roman empire. This is an example of how the people and situations surrounding the poets ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Ausonius, mindfulness of our own mortality is key in making us realize the importance of the moment. Remember that you are mortal, so seize the day. These

Blackwell V. Blackwell Case Study Summary
The following is a case study of Blackwell v Blackwell, that is connected to the principle of Secret Trusts and particularly Half Secret Trusts. In order for the
principle to be understood, it is significant to expatiate on what secret trusts are and the several laws revolving around them. In general terms, a secret trust
arises where a testator, A, tells B that he is leaving property to B on his death, and that he wishes B to hold it on trust for C, even though no trust for C has been
set out in any formal will executed by A. If B agrees, when the property passes to B on A s death, the court will enforce the secret trust despite its informality
and require B to hold the property for C. In secret trusts, two different types are recognised by the courts, one where the trustee and the terms of the trust are
not mentioned in the will, this is a fully secret trust while a half secret trust is subject to a trust obligation which is apparent on the face of the Will, but the
terms of the trust and the identity of the beneficiary are not disclosed. The trustee is not in position to deny the trust and can not fraudulently take the property
because he is a trustee for someone. Equity will not allow him take the property beneficially. The major difference between both is the extent in which
disclosure is made as to the recipient of the gift intends to take the property as a trustee rather than for himself. Secret Trusts can also arise where there is no
will, it may be in a case of

Importance Of Technology In Education
Technology is useful to have around like when kids get lost or when parents need them to track their kids. Technology can be useful in other ways, like
technology is better for education. Also, keeping touch with family and friends, and for emergencies.
First off, technology can be useful for education purposes when teachers give online homework, when you have to check homework, and when a student
misses a day of school and need to see what the teacher taught in class. Technology is important because teachers give online assignments that students have to
do in at home as homework. An example of this would be in history class if you have to do a worksheet online and submit it online so the teacher can see how
you did. Why you need technology for that is it would make it easier for the students and the teachers to understand what they don t know and still need to
learn. Secondly, why technology is important for school when you have to check your homework at home and to fix what you get wrong on the homework. An
example is in math class when the teacher gives you a few problems out of the book to do at home, and you need to check what did you get wrong and where
you have to improve. How this example shows how technology can help a student learn or fixs a mistakes and help you do better on tests. The last reason why
technology can help you do better in school is to see what a student has missed in classes when they were sick or missed a day of school. An example is when

Johnson and Johnson Strategy Formulation
1. INTRODUCTION
This project is one of three assigned reports I will complete as part of the strategic analysis of Johnson and Johnson. This firs report focuses on the strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and includes the following sections. First, the major concepts related to the SWOT analysis will be defined.
Second, those concepts will be applied to the specific case of Johnson and Johnson. Then the evidence from Johnson and Johnson will be evaluated to identify
the major problem the company is facing and propose a solution that Johnson and Johnson can adopt to restore its lost competitive advantage.

Firms use tactics like price competition, advertising battles, product introductions, and increased customer service or warranties. Rivalry occurs when
competitors sense the pressure to act on an opportunity to improve their position. The General forces that present opportunities for Johnson and Johnson are
the global environment, and the technological environment. These two general environment forces present numerous opportunities for Johnson and Johnson
within the pharmaceutical industry. There is an increasing trend for firms to expand their operations and market reach beyond the borders of their home
country. Globalization provides both opportunities to access larger potential markets and a broad base of production factors such as raw materials, labor,
skilled managers, and technical professionals. With over 200 subsidiary companies that are managed in a decentralized manner, Johnson and Johnson views
their conglomerate not as a corporate headquarters that controls. It views them as a chain of small business that are responsible for their own actions and
production. Johnson and Johnson is expanding into the new emerging markets of China and India. The technological environment leads to new products and
services and improve how they are produced and delivered to the end user. Innovations can create entirely new industries and alter the boundaries of existing
industries.

Arthur Dimmesdale in The Scarlet Letter Essay
The Scarlet LetterArthur Dimmesdale Reverend Arthur Dimmesdale, a main character in Nathaniel Hawthorne s novel The Scarlet Letter, proves to be a sinner
against man, against God and most importantly against himself because he has committed adultery with Hester Prynne, resulting in an illegitimate child, Pearl.
His sinning against himself, for which he ultimately paid the price of death, proved to be more harmful and more destructive than this sin of the flesh, and his
sin against God. Socrates said, Knowthyself, and Shakespeare said, To thine own self be true. If Reverend Dimmesdale had been true to himself he certainly
wouldn t have suffered as much as he did. What drove Dimmesdale to hold in his self condemning truth? To ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dimmesdale portrays himself very ironically. He is a very well respected reverend and yet, has, for the last 7 years, worked on preaching the word of God,
especially while he urges the congregation to confess openly to repent unto God. While, in reality, Dimmesdale is the one whoneeds a clean conscious. He
feels like he needs to confess not only to the town but also too himself. Halfway through the novel
Dimmesdale has yet to reveal the truth, which, so far, has been devouring him, physically and mentally. Since this good reverend is so spiritual, he cannot
reveal his truths to the town so simply. He is of the Puritan faith and being a follower of that, the sin of adultery is a very grand sin. The whole town would
look down on him as if he were a hypocrite. Which in fact, he is, but his sin of adultery in that town would have been scoffed at just as Hester s has. The
reverend is so well liked by the townsfolk that
Hawthorne states, They fancied him the mouthpiece of Heaven s messages of wisdom, rebuke, and love. In their eyes, the very ground on which he trod was
sanctified. ( 139 ) How else can the reverend live without revealing his identity? He has been doing it for seven years, and it must be hard for him, mentally
and physically. Mentally, his whole body shuts down because he cannot take it anymore, even though he does not give in to confess yet. He has become
emaciated because he has let the sin against himself churn

The Impact of Nazi Rule on the People of Germany between...
The Impact of Nazi Rule on the People of Germany between 1933 and 1939 Whether the Nazis made a negative or positive impact on the people of Germany,
they most defiantly made one. In making a decision on what this was I will look at all of the aspects of their aeon, and examine them. The bad parts of Nazi
sovereignty are obvious: there abominable policies concerning minority groups, their way suppressing the people by removing their rights, using violence and
threats and so forth, however it must also be pointed out that there were good parts of their reign which included increased quality of peoples leisure time and
improvements in the economy. One particular group of people who found themselves ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However it would appear to me that it was not entirely impossible for workers to rebel, but factors that made them better off ie money deterred them from it
they were getting a little in return for their loss. The attack on unemployment also changed a number of things for German men. It can be said that Nazis
greatly reduced problems of unemployment as from when they gained power in 1933 to 1939 unemployment dropped from 6014000 right down to 302000.
This looks good on the surface but underneath shows up a number of faults. Numbers of unemployment were most certainly improved upon but this was
mostly due to rearmament, compulsory military service (this took 1300000 off unemployment registers), people making weapons equipments and scientist
developing food and material substitutes. This was not essentially a long term solution to Germanys problems but the impact it had was to give men money
and food, which at that time was what they needed. Equally it was men s partners/partners to be which were affected. Women found themselves influenced in
numerous ways, one of which was marriage. In 1933 the law for the encouragement of marriage was introduced newly weds were given a 1000 mark
government loan, encouraging them to have children. Not long after in 1934 the ten commandments for choice of partner was established. This meant that
ideal Aryans were encouraged to marry

Mobile Ad Hoc Network Is The Routing Protocol Design
An important issue for mobile ad hoc network is the routing protocol design. Due to frequent changes in the topology of the network this becomes a major
technical challenge. Node failures and link breakages in the network may cause loss of the network resources. In signal strength based AODV, protocol
measures signal strength between nodes and compare with RSSI threshold values. If it is greater than threshold value then it is accepted for further processing
otherwise it is discarded. If it will not find any route between source and destination then it will switch to normal AODV which selects route on the basis of
minimum hop count. The benefit of this scheme is by selecting a strong route to the destination we can increase the lifetime of the network. Ehsan Mostajerani
[2] proposed I AODV. On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) is one of the ad hoc routing protocols utilized in MANET and VANET. Ad hoc routing protocols
are categorized into Table driven and On demand. On Demand routing protocols find their destinations based on the process of flooding a request to neighbors
searching for their destinations. Neighbors of nodes are detected based on the neighbor discovery method, which periodically broadcasts HELLO messages to
detect available neighbors at time. Generating routing packets and neighbor discovery messages produce high overhead in the On Demand routing protocol,
such as AODV. In order to overcome overhead issues, a novel scheme in Ad hoc networks based on

Disadvantages Of A Broadway Strike
Any negotiator considering items to included in contract cannot afford to overlook the impact of the united states entertainment industry throughout the world

essential to have a couple of union for providing a fair value for the artists. The strike is often considered as a last remedy to provide benefits for the labors and

Homework As A Good Thing Essay
Roth, Grace
AP Lang Period 6
October 19, 2016
Abstract
Homework has been considered apart of every child s learning experience in America, but there are many downsides to homework. Homework prevents
children from exploring the world they live in, besides just what they learn in the classroom and prevents many other activities. Along with this, homework can
be very unhealthy is child s life due to the amount of stress it causes. There is also evidence that suggests homework has no affect on learning and in many
cases is counter productive. Homework causes many conflicts within families and is in many households left to the parents and not the students. The evidence
of homework being a good thing is outweighed by the evidence that shows how homework can be a negative thing in many students lives.

A Viking funeral is unlike any funeral that the modern individual is used too. According to Ibn Fadlan, author of Ibn Fadlan s Account of Viking in Early

account by explaining the descriptive process of the funeral of a Viking from an outside perspective. This paper will be a brief summary and opinion on the

When the day comes where the two are supposed to be consumed in flames, the dead Viking s ship is drawn ashore. People bring a couch and place it on the

in the sewing of the garments, all of the equipment needed for the funeral, and the most important part, the slaying of the girl who agreed to die with her
master. Near him in the grave they had placed strong drinks, and fruits. They now clothed him in drawers, leggings, boots, and a kurtak and chaftan of cloth of
gold, with gold buttons, placing on the head a cap made of cloth of gold, trimmed with sable. The Viking was dressed very well, to honor and respect him. That
is something that society today can relate too, since we dress our dead in suits and other things to respect their passing. After the dressing they finally carried
him and placed him in the ship. Pillows, and, bringing of strong fruits, and basil, placed them all beside him. Then they brought a dog, which they in two, and

Jeannette Winterson Weight Essay
In Jeanette Winterson s novel Weight, the author demonstrates how myths have modern personal relevancies and can encourage each reader to investigate the
three main subject matters in their lives; boundaries, freedom, and guilt. The numerous references to walls throughout the novel signify the boundaries, which
make Atlas strive for freedom. Winterson s Weight, is a modern rewrite on an old myth of Atlas and Heracles, and the challenges they endure can be
interpreted by individual readers for personal relevancies. Atlas, a father of daughters, is faced with the burden of carrying the world on his shoulders. This can
represent a feeling as if one is carrying a world of stress and guilt on one s shoulders and conscience. Heracles, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Atlas constantly is escaping into the limitless of his imagination, where he is not punished for wanting the forbidden. The Gods hoped that by punishing Atlas
to be trapped in his body under the weight of the world that they would contain his mind, and they were mistaken. This can be interpreted as the strength and
perseverance from within an individual. The wall that Atlas builds around the Garden of Hesperides is constructed in such a way that it explains freedom and
nothingness that can sometimes be unappreciated. Winterson writes, I built a walled garden, a temenos, a sacred space. I lifted the huge stones with my own
hands and piled them carefully, as a goatherd would, leaving tiny gaps to let the wind through. A solid wall is easily collapsed. My mother stirring in her sleep
could do as much. A wall well built with invisible spaces will allow the winds that rage against it to pass through. When the earth underneath it trembles, the
spaces make room for movement and settlement. The wall stands. The wall s strength is not in the stones but in the spaces between the stones. It s a joke
against me I think, that for all my strength and labour, the wall relies on nothing .Write it more substantially NOTHING. (p. 16). On the contrary, carrying the

The Fear Peter Godwin
The Fear by: Peter Godwin is a very captivating and educational, non fiction story that leads you on a suspenseful, thrilling journey through a country of hurt,
pain, and deceit. Peter Godwin and his sister, Georgina Godwin are caucasian farmers in their hometown of Zimbabwe. Their prime minister, Robert Mugabe
discriminates against all white farmers in his country, as he is a black man. He shows this hatred everyday through his brutal, violent stunts. When his people
get tired of his antics, they try to put him out to make their situation better, but they only make it worse. As the book begins, everything is definitely not
perfect, actually, it is the complete opposite. Mugabe didn t want to give up his power and he was described as a racist pig who wanted to get rid of all white
people in this country by his people. Mugabe is upset over a lost election because his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

there, but they didn t attack Carlos. One would think they are going to take the high road, but that is not what they did at all. Instead, they went to Carlos farm
and burned half of it down and the other half now belonged to Mugabe. Ninety percent of Zimbabwean farms belong to Mugabe and the government. Carlos
was told to get all of his belongings out of his house and to leave and never return. Why is this my favorite part of the story, you ask? Well, Carlos didn t fight
back or even yell. He simply packed up his things and left because he knew he is was sense in opposing the power. I admit what he did at the party was wrong

Marriage Proposals In Pride And Prejudice By Jane Austen
In Jane Austen s novel Pride and Prejudice , her character Elizabeth Bennet refuses marriage proposals because she secretly believes that materialism and
ignorance are the cause of lost love and unhappiness.
In Pride and Prejudice , Elizabeth uses the example of marriages, like her parents or the Collins , to prove that marrying simply to have a man for security isn t
the right reason. In chapter 42 of the novel Austen writes Respect, esteem, and confidence had vanished for ever; and all his views of domestic happiness were
overthrown. in order to express that her character notices her parents regret in marrying each other because her mother married for money and her father
married for beauty. She continuously thinks that she would marry ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Darcy s first proposal because she felt that marrying a man simply because he said he loved her yet he has insulted her many times upon first meeting each
other and was rude to her sister may end up equalling that her future will feel miserable and detained. In chapter 34 Austen writes, From the very beginning
from the first moment, I may almost say of my acquaintance with you, your manners, impressing me with the fullest belief of your arrogance, your conceit,
and your selfish disdain of the feelings of others, were such as to form the groundwork of disapprobation on which succeeding events have built so immovable
a dislike; and I had not known you a month before I felt that you were the last man in the world whom I could ever be prevailed on to marry. in order to
demonstrate how his rudeness towards her and others prevents her from accepting his feelings and even considering her own. She believes that a man as rude
as him could never create happiness and truly love a person like she wants in her own marriage. Gao also wrote, However, Elizabeth still rejects his proposal at
the first time because she didn t fall in love with him. And she even dislikes him because of his pride. Elizabeth does not want to marry a man whom she
dislikes. to establish that Elizabeth s feelings were yet to be found and to also explain that Elizabeth would like to have all feelings reciprocated rather than be

Increasing Population Uncertainty Essay
Increasing Population Uncertainty
Carrying capacity is defined as the number of individuals of a certain species that can be sustained indefinitely in a particular area. The Earth s capacity to
support people is determined both by natural constraints and by human choices concerning economics, environment, culture (including values and politics),
and demography. Human carrying capacity is more difficult to estimate than some of the standard demographic indicators, like expectation of life or the total
fertility rate, because human carrying capacity depends on populations and activities around the world. Human carrying capacity is therefore dynamic and
uncertain. Ecologists have often made use of the concept of carrying ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many environmental, social, and economic problems either stem from or are increased in magnitude by the overpopulation problem. With an exponentially
increasing population, the problems created by overpopulation grow correspondingly. Population growth is out spacing growth in agricultural production and it
is putting increasing pressure on erodible soils, grazing lands, water, and fuel wood supplies (Chapman, Peterson, Smith Moran, 2000). To ensure population
stability not only in the increasingly wealthy third world areas, but also in the industrialized areas, countries and individuals must work together to achieve
controlled population growth.
The earth does not contain enough resources to indefinitely sustain the current enormous population growth. For instance, there only is a limited area of arable
land and living space available to us. China, home to 1.2 billion people or 1/5 the world s population, is an excellent example of the kinds of problems that
arise in an increasingly crowded society. Trying to increase the standard of living of its people, China has industrialized and the economy has grown (Hanson,
1995). This increase in wealth has increased the demand for food in China. The demand is so great that China went from exporting 8 million tons of grain in
1992 to becoming a net importer of 16 million tons of grain in 1994 (China News Digest, 1995). This causes a worldwide grain shortage that raises prices,

Response To Conflict
The way a person responds to conflict can determine success or failure. The type of response a person has can have an impact impact on them and the people
around them. This being said, people can react to different types of conflict in different ways. Everybody has instincts, but the instincts vary from person to
person. Fight or flight for instance is an instinct that every person experiences when conflict arises. However whether they fight or flight differs. If someone
were suddenly jumped in a dark alley, one person might try to fight their way out while another may instinctively take off running in the other direction. For
example if I were in a fight or flight situation, I would most likely fight unless I was outnumbered or my opponent

Just Being Yourself Essay
Technology has brought us out of the dark ages and has given us the ability to do things we never thought were possible. It is all around us and it helps to make
our lives just a little bit easier. Technology has improved our communication and social interaction by making it possible for us to get information from one
place to another in seconds and for people to travel great distances, including over the ocean in a lot less time. It has improved education by broadening our
horizons and allowing us to experience and share different cultures with each other and enabling us to connect with new people from all around the world.

Henry Ford began the transportation revolution when he came up with the idea of mass production, making automobiles that were affordable for everyone.
(Bowles, M., 2011, 2.4) Railway was another popular travel option that allowed people to travel great distances for both business and pleasure. This gave
Americans more job opportunities because instead of only being able to work locally, they could just hop on a train and work in other towns as well. Although
trains and automobiles improved travel significantly, the invention of the airplane was probably the biggest advancement made in transportation. The Wright
brothers invented the first airplane to fly in 1903. These brothers dramatized the start of a revolution that has had more effect on the world than anything since
the discovery of America. (Wright, O., pg 1.1, 1988) The airplane not only allowed for even faster travel times but it also allowed us to travel across oceans in
a lot less time as well. Before airplanes, the only way to travel across an ocean was by boat and that could take many months to do. Airplanes also made it
possible for Americans to import and export goods all over the world more efficiently and faster than the automobile or even the train. Another way that
technology has helped to end isolation is through advancements in education. In the early centuries, there were books and teachers in school and that is what

How To Upgrade A Truck Essay
Do you love your truck, but wish it had more capabilities? Are you trying to decide whether or not to purchase aftermarket parts to upgrade your truck?
Custom truck parts can be a great way to upgrade your vehicle, without needing to purchase a new truck. If you re still not sure whether or not this is
something you d like to do, here are some why you should consider an upgrade:
Heavy loads: Trucks are meant for hauling, but they do have some limitations. If you regularly haul heavy loads, you may have noticed that your ride isn t
quite as smooth when your truck bed is full as when it s empty. This is because, although your truck may be rated for this weight, a heavy load compresses
your shocks and struts more than usual, making it more difficult for them to respond to small bumps or potholes on the road. Fortunately, there are various
custom truck parts that you can use to alleviate this problem. The best solution for this issue may be, of course, be shock absorbers that are better able to take
the additional strain. With better shock absorbers, your vehicle will be able to respond to a wider variety of road variations when it has a full load. ... Show

Maybe you regularly pick up items from a location that is at the end of a dirt road. Perhaps you live comfortably far enough away from other people that the
roads aren t paved. Whatever your reasoning, you are probably already aware of how treacherous dirt roads can be. A minor rainstorm may turn the road into a
nearly impassable mess. You may not even notice how serious a mud puddle is, until you re halfway through it. If you re afraid of needing to call for an
expensive tow truck to pull you out of the mud, you may want to consider having a heavy duty winch installed. When attached to a nearby sturdy tree or other
landscape feature, a strong winch can help your truck get back to solid

Analysis Of The Poem The Bay Of Naples
When I was looking through 17th 18th century European artwork in the Norton Simon Museum, there was one piece of art that really stood out to me. That
beautiful art piece was the Bay of Naples by Claude Joseph Vernet. This piece stood out to me because of the beautiful scenery that is displayed and the deep
serenity the piece gives me when I look at it. The Bay of Naples is a painting of a landscape that captures the daily life of the bay. The materials used for this
painting was oil on canvas. Claude Joseph Vernet made a painting that brings your attention to the foreground. In the front, there is a boat being boarded. Some
of the people that are not boarding the boat are standing by the sea. In the sea, some boats are sailing off in the distance. One of the boats in the distance is a
large boat that gives the illusion of being three dimensional. The form gives this illusion because of the reflection in the sea. If you look in the lower right, you
can see the light from the sun illuminating the sky. This light is hidden behind a large mountain that also has a three dimensional form. There is also lots of
texture in the painting. Some texture is seen in the mountains and ground giving a rough look, and some is seen in the sea in the form of ripples. On top of the
mountain in the lower right, there is greenery that has an illusion of being light and feathery. In that mountain, there is an arch that makes the other side visible.
In the far distance, you can see a faint

The Air Force Change Management
The Air Force is a component of the United States Department of Defense with numerous responsibilities and combat capabilities. The broad scope of its
military responsibilities has necessitated a moderately flexible organizational structure, and a wide range of educational and technical specialties. Obtaining the
talent required to fill highly technical job openings has forced the military to recruit civilian workers, resulting in a highly diverse work force. Although
diversity and flexibility provide the Air Force with significant advantages, these attributes also cause several problems when leaders attempt to implement
change. Researchers from RAND Corporation suggest change management would be a less difficult issue if the Air Force ... Show more content on

The department s leadership is responsible for providing appropriate manpower and resources to each mission using an increasingly tight budget, while also
following strict laws for high priority missions, such as nuclear defense, which mandate both high levels of training and manpower (Air Education Training
Command, 2015). Additionally, warfare technology has become incredibly advanced. Due to this complication, the educational and technical requirements for
military service members and employees are steadily increasing. education and contract diversity. Because of the wide gap in educational requirements
between each purpose the military fulfills, mission completion has necessitated the recruiting of both active duty military members, and specialized civilian
employees and contractors. The increasing advanced requirements for cyberspace defense and weapon research cannot be adequately met through an
organizational model dependant on the recruiting of enlisted members, who usually have an educational level no higher than high school, and officer members,
who often have not obtained an educational level higher than a baccalaureate prior to service entry. The Air force needs traditional military members to
maintain proficiency and command during standard warfare operations. It needs highly technical positions, which the government can only hope to effectively
obtain from civilians, who naturally expect better pay and treatment

Euthanasia is Murder Essay
Euthanasia is the Greek word meaning good death . Euthanasia is the act of assisting in ending one s life, killing a person or an animal in a painless or
minimally painful way.
There are 3 different types of euthanasia. Volantary which means that the doctor, or whoever performed the assisted death got full permission from the patient
to kill them. Nonvolantary without full consent of the patient or if the patient did give them their full consent, they weren t fully decisionally competent. And
Involantary this is when the person is killed against their will, they refuse to die but they are still killed. This Is murder!

The two separarate parts of murder: Actus reus (Latin term for guilty act (based on evidence)) and Mens rea (Latin term for guilty mind (intension)). Both
these are needed to convict someone of murder. There is also manslaughter (which is just actus reus) which some euthanasia cases end up being. Euthansia,
whether conducted a hostpital or a home, still falls under murder with both, Actus reus and Mens rea obviously present.
If we changed our laws so that euthanasia was legal, every murderer could say they were carrying out euthanasia. If we bring back euthanasia we should also
bring back the death penalty. Euthanasia is just murder with a different name, it s the same, except they blame it on a dead person.
It should be a law that you have to write a will once you reach a certain age when you are most likely to know what you want done with your belongings, once
you are gone. In the future if you get damaged (mentally or physically), your belongings will go to the appropriate place.
Euthanasia should and will hopefully be charged as murder in all cases. There is no exception for killing anyone even if they say they want to be killed.

Captain Knows Analysis
Often times in a theatre troupe, three different groups tend to stand out amongst the crowd. In this troupe, there are the Captain Knows how s, the Diamond
Shiner s, and the Queen s of Drama. They all have their perks, except when their special instincts take over and steal the show.
The first group is the Captain Knows how s. This group is often the shy, quiet personality in the whole troupe. However, if the director needs a task done they
always find this group. No matter what, or how hard the task is, the Captain Knows how s will never cease to amaze. Beware, they may seem friendly, but if
caught in the midst of them and without a tool in hand, know that death is near. This group is also known to be blessed with patience , because they sit with the

  • 2. Georgia Southwestern State University Essay During my first semester at Georgia Southwestern State University, I realized that there are several positive and negative aspects to living on campus. As a student who lives on campus, I observe these every day. Some aspects are beneficial to students like the fitness center and student organizations because they help to enhance the health, intellect, and entertainment of life on campus. Some aspects are not beneficial to students like the lack of cleanliness in the dormitories and the food in the cafeteria because they prohibit students from enjoying life on campus. I would like to bring attention to a negative aspect of living on campus because I think that it needs to be improved to make life easier for students on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University. The washers and dryers that are available for the use of students have several issues. I know this because I have used the washers and dryers on campus, and I have talked to other students about them. They are outdated, irresponsibly taken care of, and too expensive to use. The washers and dryers that are in the dormitories are very outdated. It is easy to see that they are old. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Many students do not feel comfortable using the washers and dryers because there are many things that could happen to their laundry like it could be stolen by other students. After using the washers and dryers on campus, I will not use them again because it was not a great experience. I know what washers and dryers are supposed to do because I do my own laundry at home, and the washers and dryers on campus do not do what they are supposed to do. Until the quality of the washers and dryers improves on campus, they will continue to be a negative aspect for students who live on campus at Georgia Southwestern State University because they do not make campus life ... • 3. Dwight D. Eisenhower s Fight Against Homosexuals In 1953, Dwight D. Eisenhower became the 34th President of the Unite States. His main goal was to keep pressure on the Soviet Union during the early stages of the Cold War. During his Presidency, Eisenhower brought back many of the old traditional values and fiercely attacked homosexuality and sexual immorality. Born into a strong religious household, Eisenhower believed that sex offenders and homosexuals posed a national security risk; therefore, they should not be allowed employment into any Government positions. Eisenhower s administration claimed that because of their sexual orientation, homosexuals were more susceptible to blackmail by a communist enemy. Because of that, on April of 1953, Eisenhower issued Executive Order 10450 which revoked President Truman s 1947 Executive Order 9835. In this new order, Eisenhower charged the heads of all federal agencies, with the assistance of the FBI, with investigating all federal employees to discover if they posed security risks. Also ... The M Unit used a variety of techniques to expose homosexuals, with the most successful ones being polygraph tests and personal interviews. Under McLeod s guidance, the M Unit forced many federal employees accused of any sexual deviation, to resign. Many others forced into confessions after prolonged interrogations. In addition to what was happening in the United States, many Government Officials feared that homosexuals that worked in international organizations would create a scandal that will bring negative attention to the United States. Therefore, America demanded that the other U.N. nations take the same stand against homosexuality. Britain, Canada and Australia soon followed the United States ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Hayao Miyazaki and Animated Film Essay Getting inspired is something that can happen unexpectedly. A single thing can just set the stage for an amazing creation to come about. Much of what people are exposed to due to the media and also literature can really affect someone s life. Hayao Miyazaki is a film director, animator, screenwriter and also producer. He is someone who s work really changed my perspective on animation and also the conventional idea of a hero. Miyazaki was born on January 5, 1941 in Japan. His parents were Dola and Katsuji Miyazaki. His father Katsuji Miyazaki and worked for Miyazaki Airplanes which was Miyazaki s uncles business. The company manufactured parts for warplanes that were used during World War II. Miyazaki had three brothers which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The following year Miyazaki also met Akemi Ota, an animator that then became his wife in 1968. Overall Miyazaki worked in a total of six different animation studios, his positions varied from director to animator but his work also influenced many other directors or screenwriters within those companies. Having grown independent from the companies he set off to start his own company known today as Studio Ghibli. Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985. The studio was created due to a collaboration by Hayao Miyazaki, his friend Isao Takahata, and also producer Toshio Suzuki. There furst film collaboration was done in 1984, with the film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Many people believe that this film is what set the stage for Studio Ghibli to be created. Much of the studio s success has not solely been due to Miyazaki, but also because of his associates. One of the most prominent films from the studio was directed by Isao Takahata, the film is Grave of the Fireflies, which depicts the story of orphans living in Japan during World War II. The company is also well known for their no edits policy which basically states that the film cannot be altered when being dubbed. However, this policy has caused many issues with American companies because some films have been Americanized or altered, which then tends to change the message of the story and the plot. With the great success that Studio Ghibli has had Miyazaki ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Assault Rifle Research Paper Assault Rifles It is argued whether the phrase assault rifle, which came in the American lexicon around the 1980 s,first originated as political ploy by firearm control advocates or as a marketing ploy by firearm retailers. What is for sure is that assault weapon is not a technical term, it was a phrase of art used by gun manufactures, or for the army. The nearest in those groups is the phrase assault rifle which is a military medium caliber, fired at the shoulder the shooter is allowed to select between semi automatic which shoots one bullet per pull of the trigger and the other option is fully automatic which continues to fire bullets while the trigger is being pressed and there is a three shot fire also and it shoots 3 bullets each ... • 6. I Used To Tell You Analysis Poetry during the Roman empire played a prevalent role in society along with what was being discussed and studied around the cities under their rule. However, what is less known are the roles society and the people played, in what type of poetry, language, and tone were used. Latin poetry, through symbolism and humanity s ideology, represents the evolution of the Roman era and government. Latin literature leaves behind a lasting legacy of the culture of ancient Rome. Some of the earliest works are historical epics telling of the early military history of Rome, followed by comedies, histories and tragedies. The comedies were the earliest as the Roman empire was strong and they could have fun because there was nothing to worry about. The tragedies were written during the collapse of the Roman empire. Remember that you are mortal, so seize the day. These two phrases represent almost opposite approaches, with carpe diem urging us to savour life and memento mori urging us to resist its allure. • 8. Blackwell V. Blackwell Case Study Summary The following is a case study of Blackwell v Blackwell, that is connected to the principle of Secret Trusts and particularly Half Secret Trusts. In order for the principle to be understood, it is significant to expatiate on what secret trusts are and the several laws revolving around them. In general terms, a secret trust arises where a testator, A, tells B that he is leaving property to B on his death, and that he wishes B to hold it on trust for C, even though no trust for C has been set out in any formal will executed by A. If B agrees, when the property passes to B on A s death, the court will enforce the secret trust despite its informality and require B to hold the property for C. In secret trusts, two different types are recognised by the courts, one where the trustee and the terms of the trust are not mentioned in the will, this is a fully secret trust while a half secret trust is subject to a trust obligation which is apparent on the face of the Will, but the terms of the trust and the identity of the beneficiary are not disclosed. The trustee is not in position to deny the trust and can not fraudulently take the property because he is a trustee for someone. Equity will not allow him take the property beneficially. The major difference between both is the extent in which disclosure is made as to the recipient of the gift intends to take the property as a trustee rather than for himself. Secret Trusts can also arise where there is no will, it may be in a case of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Importance Of Technology In Education Technology is useful to have around like when kids get lost or when parents need them to track their kids. Technology can be useful in other ways, like technology is better for education. Also, keeping touch with family and friends, and for emergencies. First off, technology can be useful for education purposes when teachers give online homework, when you have to check homework, and when a student misses a day of school and need to see what the teacher taught in class. Technology is important because teachers give online assignments that students have to do in at home as homework. An example of this would be in history class if you have to do a worksheet online and submit it online so the teacher can see how you did. Why you need technology for that is it would make it easier for the students and the teachers to understand what they don t know and still need to learn. Secondly, why technology is important for school when you have to check your homework at home and to fix what you get wrong on the homework. An example is in math class when the teacher gives you a few problems out of the book to do at home, and you need to check what did you get wrong and where you have to improve. How this example shows how technology can help a student learn or fixs a mistakes and help you do better on tests. The last reason why technology can help you do better in school is to see what a student has missed in classes when they were sick or missed a day of school. An example is when in ... These two general environment forces present numerous opportunities for Johnson and Johnson within the pharmaceutical industry. There is an increasing trend for firms to expand their operations and market reach beyond the borders of their home country. Globalization provides both opportunities to access larger potential markets and a broad base of production factors such as raw materials, labor, skilled managers, and technical professionals. • 11. Arthur Dimmesdale in The Scarlet Letter Essay The Scarlet LetterArthur Dimmesdale Reverend Arthur Dimmesdale, a main character in Nathaniel Hawthorne s novel The Scarlet Letter, proves to be a sinner against man, against God and most importantly against himself because he has committed adultery with Hester Prynne, resulting in an illegitimate child, Pearl. His sinning against himself, for which he ultimately paid the price of death, proved to be more harmful and more destructive than this sin of the flesh, and his sin against God. Socrates said, Knowthyself, and Shakespeare said, To thine own self be true. If Reverend Dimmesdale had been true to himself he certainly wouldn t have suffered as much as he did. He is a very well respected reverend and yet, has, for the last 7 years, worked on preaching the word of God, especially while he urges the congregation to confess openly to repent unto God. While, in reality, Dimmesdale is the one whoneeds a clean conscious. He feels like he needs to confess not only to the town but also too himself. Halfway through the novel Dimmesdale has yet to reveal the truth, which, so far, has been devouring him, physically and mentally. Since this good reverend is so spiritual, he cannot reveal his truths to the town so simply. He is of the Puritan faith and being a follower of that, the sin of adultery is a very grand sin. The whole town would look down on him as if he were a hypocrite. Which in fact, he is, but his sin of adultery in that town would have been scoffed at just as Hester s has. The reverend is so well liked by the townsfolk that Hawthorne states, They fancied him the mouthpiece of Heaven s messages of wisdom, rebuke, and love. In their eyes, the very ground on which he trod was sanctified. ( 139 ) How else can the reverend live without revealing his identity? He has been doing it for seven years, and it must be hard for him, mentally and physically. Mentally, his whole body shuts down because he cannot take it anymore, even though he does not give in to confess yet. He has become emaciated because he has let the sin against himself churn ... The Impact of Nazi Rule on the People of Germany between 1933 and 1939 Whether the Nazis made a negative or positive impact on the people of Germany, they most defiantly made one. In making a decision on what this was I will look at all of the aspects of their aeon, and examine them. The bad parts of Nazi sovereignty are obvious: there abominable policies concerning minority groups, their way suppressing the people by removing their rights, using violence and threats and so forth, however it must also be pointed out that there were good parts of their reign which included increased quality of peoples leisure time and improvements in the economy. However it would appear to me that it was not entirely impossible for workers to rebel, but factors that made them better off ie money deterred them from it they were getting a little in return for their loss. The attack on unemployment also changed a number of things for German men. It can be said that Nazis greatly reduced problems of unemployment as from when they gained power in 1933 to 1939 unemployment dropped from 6014000 right down to 302000. This looks good on the surface but underneath shows up a number of faults. Numbers of unemployment were most certainly improved upon but this was mostly due to rearmament, compulsory military service (this took 1300000 off unemployment registers), people making weapons equipments and scientist developing food and material substitutes. This was not essentially a long term solution to Germanys problems but the impact it had was to give men money and food, which at that time was what they needed. Equally it was men s partners/partners to be which were affected. Women found themselves influenced in numerous ways, one of which was marriage. In 1933 the law for the encouragement of marriage was introduced newly weds were given a 1000 mark government loan, encouraging them to have children. • 13. Mobile Ad Hoc Network Is The Routing Protocol Design An important issue for mobile ad hoc network is the routing protocol design. Due to frequent changes in the topology of the network this becomes a major technical challenge. Node failures and link breakages in the network may cause loss of the network resources. In signal strength based AODV, protocol measures signal strength between nodes and compare with RSSI threshold values. If it is greater than threshold value then it is accepted for further processing otherwise it is discarded. If it will not find any route between source and destination then it will switch to normal AODV which selects route on the basis of minimum hop count. The benefit of this scheme is by selecting a strong route to the destination we can increase the lifetime of the network. Ehsan Mostajerani [2] proposed I AODV. On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) is one of the ad hoc routing protocols utilized in MANET and VANET. Ad hoc routing protocols are categorized into Table driven and On demand. On Demand routing protocols find their destinations based on the process of flooding a request to neighbors searching for their destinations. Neighbors of nodes are detected based on the neighbor discovery method, which periodically broadcasts HELLO messages to detect available neighbors at time. Generating routing packets and neighbor discovery messages produce high overhead in the On Demand routing protocol, such as AODV. In order to overcome overhead issues, a novel scheme in Ad hoc networks based on ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 15. Homework As A Good Thing Essay Roth, Grace AP Lang Period 6 October 19, 2016 Abstract Homework has been considered apart of every child s learning experience in America, but there are many downsides to homework. Homework prevents children from exploring the world they live in, besides just what they learn in the classroom and prevents many other activities. Along with this, homework can be very unhealthy is child s life due to the amount of stress it causes. There is also evidence that suggests homework has no affect on learning and in many cases is counter productive. Homework causes many conflicts within families and is in many households left to the parents and not the students. The evidence of homework being a good thing is outweighed by the evidence that shows how homework can be a negative thing in many students lives. Citations Copping, J. (2014, January 16). She played a part in the sewing of the garments, all of the equipment needed for the funeral, and the most important part, the slaying of the girl who agreed to die with her master. Near him in the grave they had placed strong drinks, and fruits. They now clothed him in drawers, leggings, boots, and a kurtak and chaftan of cloth of gold, with gold buttons, placing on the head a cap made of cloth of gold, trimmed with sable. Jeannette Winterson Weight Essay In Jeanette Winterson s novel Weight, the author demonstrates how myths have modern personal relevancies and can encourage each reader to investigate the three main subject matters in their lives; boundaries, freedom, and guilt. The numerous references to walls throughout the novel signify the boundaries, which make Atlas strive for freedom. Winterson s Weight, is a modern rewrite on an old myth of Atlas and Heracles, and the challenges they endure can be interpreted by individual readers for personal relevancies. Atlas constantly is escaping into the limitless of his imagination, where he is not punished for wanting the forbidden. The Gods hoped that by punishing Atlas to be trapped in his body under the weight of the world that they would contain his mind, and they were mistaken. This can be interpreted as the strength and perseverance from within an individual. The wall that Atlas builds around the Garden of Hesperides is constructed in such a way that it explains freedom and nothingness that can sometimes be unappreciated. Winterson writes, I built a walled garden, a temenos, a sacred space. I lifted the huge stones with my own hands and piled them carefully, as a goatherd would, leaving tiny gaps to let the wind through. A solid wall is easily collapsed. My mother stirring in her sleep could do as much. A wall well built with invisible spaces will allow the winds that rage against it to pass through. When the earth underneath it trembles, the spaces make room for movement and settlement. The wall stands. The wall s strength is not in the stones but in the spaces between the stones. It s a joke against me I think, that for all my strength and labour, the wall relies on nothing .Write it more substantially NOTHING. (p. 16). The Earth s capacity to support people is determined both by natural constraints and by human choices concerning economics, environment, culture (including values and politics), and demography. Many environmental, social, and economic problems either stem from or are increased in magnitude by the overpopulation problem. With an exponentially increasing population, the problems created by overpopulation grow correspondingly. Population growth is out spacing growth in agricultural production and it is putting increasing pressure on erodible soils, grazing lands, water, and fuel wood supplies (Chapman, Peterson, Smith Moran, 2000). To ensure population stability not only in the increasingly wealthy third world areas, but also in the industrialized areas, countries and individuals must work together to achieve controlled population growth. The earth does not contain enough resources to indefinitely sustain the current enormous population growth. For instance, there only is a limited area of arable land and living space available to us. China, home to 1.2 billion people or 1/5 the world s population, is an excellent example of the kinds of problems that arise in an increasingly crowded society. Trying to increase the standard of living of its people, China has industrialized and the economy has grown (Hanson, 1995). This increase in wealth has increased the demand for food in China. The demand is so great that China went from exporting 8 million tons of grain in 1992 to becoming a net importer of 16 million tons of grain in 1994 (China News Digest, 1995). This gave Americans more job opportunities because instead of only being able to work locally, they could just hop on a train and work in other towns as well. Although trains and automobiles improved travel significantly, the invention of the airplane was probably the biggest advancement made in transportation. The Wright brothers invented the first airplane to fly in 1903. These brothers dramatized the start of a revolution that has had more effect on the world than anything since the discovery of America. Custom truck parts can be a great way to upgrade your vehicle, without needing to purchase a new truck. If you re still not sure whether or not this is something you d like to do, here are some why you should consider an upgrade: Heavy loads: Trucks are meant for hauling, but they do have some limitations. If you regularly haul heavy loads, you may have noticed that your ride isn t quite as smooth when your truck bed is full as when it s empty. This is because, although your truck may be rated for this weight, a heavy load compresses your shocks and struts more than usual, making it more difficult for them to respond to small bumps or potholes on the road. Fortunately, there are various custom truck parts that you can use to alleviate this problem. The best solution for this issue may be, of course, be shock absorbers that are better able to take the additional strain. That beautiful art piece was the Bay of Naples by Claude Joseph Vernet. This piece stood out to me because of the beautiful scenery that is displayed and the deep serenity the piece gives me when I look at it. The Bay of Naples is a painting of a landscape that captures the daily life of the bay. The materials used for this painting was oil on canvas. Claude Joseph Vernet made a painting that brings your attention to the foreground. In the front, there is a boat being boarded. Some of the people that are not boarding the boat are standing by the sea. In the sea, some boats are sailing off in the distance. One of the boats in the distance is a large boat that gives the illusion of being three dimensional. The form gives this illusion because of the reflection in the sea. If you look in the lower right, you can see the light from the sun illuminating the sky. This light is hidden behind a large mountain that also has a three dimensional form. There is also lots of texture in the painting. Some texture is seen in the mountains and ground giving a rough look, and some is seen in the sea in the form of ripples.
