Consciousness Among African Americans Women Essay
Consciousness Among African Americans Women

Abstract
Race and ethnicity play a crucial role in one s life. Communities worldwide were developed around
diverse racial and ethnic identities whom proffer internal sources of resilience to others in the
community. However, these aspects can consist of adverse social consequences that influence an
individual s chances of receiving quality medical care, getting a job offer or loan, and/or being falsely
accused by authoritative figures. In addition to these hostile effects, one would ponder if it has a
detrimental effect a person s own self esteem. Recall the racial, class, and social inequality in the
United States of America in the 1960s (Eaton, Livingston, McAdoo, 2008). Those who were
considered minorities, such as the Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and various other races, dealt with the
earliest form of discrimination back in the days. For an elongated time, African Americans were
especially susceptible to the harsh and cruel discrimination in America as described in history classes.
Given the prolonged exposure to such negativity, numerous social scientists were puzzled on whether
the psychological health of African Americans was possible. While there were several studies that
found race related attitudes to be positively related to healthier psychological outcomes in African
Americans; there were only an insufficient amount of reports that endeavored to assess what factors

Evolution Of Sharks Essay
Amongst the many living creatures of the aquatic world lurks an evolutionary advanced species called
Selachimorpha, commonly known as Sharks. Sharks are the most dominantly feared creatures of the
marine world. Although they are perceived as a threat to humans, these animals keep marine
organisms in check. Sharks have developed a unique physical structure that enables them to efficiently
hunt prey while simultaneously playing a vital role in balancing the ecosystem. These apex predators
fall under the classification class Chondrichthyes, which is comprised of cartilaginous skeleton.
Chondrichthyes is sub divided into two classes; the Elasmobranchii, composed of sharks, skates and
rays, and the Holocephali ( Shark Taxonomy 8). As we move further down the scientific classification,
identifying these similar looking creatures become more difficult. Their order is separated into two
super orders, which are the extinct Cladoselachimorph and the Euselachii; composed of 12 orders of
which only nine are amongst us today (9). Many scientists believe that sharks descended from an
eyeless, finless, and boneless leaf shaped fish and that they came to existence at around 400 million
years ago ( Shark Evolution 1). Documented fossil records show that there were over 3,000 types of
sharks and may have existed at the same period of time (Jones, The Epic History of Sharks ). The
reason it is difficult to discover them all is due to the rotting of the cartilaginous bone structure ( Shark

Examples Of Overcoming Nihilism
Overcoming Nihilism according to Nietzsche
In this paper, I will explore Nietzsche s considerations towards nihilism and the philosopher s views
on overcoming it. My conclusion is that Nietzsche s strategy of overcoming nihilism is indeed viable
and a potential to be successful given the pragmatic nature of the individual. I will investigate further
on the reasons why this is the case. My assumptions in examples below are based on an application of
the Nietzsche s solution on a reasonably mentally stable individual.
First, let s assume Friedrich Nietzsche s definition of nihilism. According to Nietzsche:
1) Every belief, every considering something true, is necessarily false because there simply is no true
world . ...That there is no truth, that there is no absolute nature of things nor a thing in itself. (Will to
Power)
2) [Nihilism] ...places the value of things precisely in the lack of any reality corresponding to these
values and in their being merely a symptom of strength on the part of the value positers, a
simplification for the sake of life. (Will to Power) Therefore, an individual must accept absolute
nihilism where there is no pre determined higher meaning to life, no goals an individual is destined to
achieve and no social constructs to follow. Building upon this argument, Nietzsche elaborates in Will
to Power that Nihilism is . . . not only the belief that everything deserves to perish; but one actually
puts one s shoulder to the plough; one destroys .

Psychotic Pet Benefits
Some research studies have found that people who have a pet have healthier hearts and lives. People
usually can stay home sick less for a long if owning a pet as a part of the family. Few more
significance of having a pet at home are taking fewer visits to the doctor, doing directed exercise, and
less depression. It is suggested that the best solution of loneliness feeling is to own and take an
intensive care of a pet. There is also a powerful encounter on allergies, asthma, communal backing,
and social cooperation with other people. Some research indicates improvements in behavioral
changes of psychotic personalities owned people because of owning a pet. Considering the old person,

Pain relief: Trust it or not, pets can be the best medication, particularly when a man is managing
interminable torment, for example, headaches or joint pain, says Dr. Becker.
3. Reduction in cholesterol: Individuals who possess pets and men, in particular have fundamentally
bring down cholesterol and triglyceride levels than the individuals who don t have pets. In any case, it
isn t sure whether the pet s closeness decreases cholesterol, or if the people who keep up a more
advantageous lifestyle are more frequently pet proprietors.
4. Effects on mood: A considerable measure of the medical advantages of owning a pet may originate
from the mental and enthusiastic advantages. Individuals who have pets are less harried; there s more
chuckling in their life (Dr. Becker, n.d.)
5. Improved socialization skills: Owning a pet really builds a man s chances to associate, as indicated

Gender Issues In The Secret Life Of Bees
The Secret Life of Bees includes many issues that were going on during the 1960 s. Some issues stated
were more sought after than others depending where in the country one was located. In the book, Lily
lives in the heart of the south, South Carolina, which makes it easy to point out specific, debatable
topics. With this, The Secret Life of Bees portrays many of the movements and issues prevalent in the
1960s like Gender Issues, the Women s Rights Movement, and the Civil Rights movement.
As stated, the Secret Life of Bees provides an inside look at Gender Issues. During the 1960s, women
started to break free from the stereotype that they had to find marriage in their early 20s and have
children in the following years. In Secret Life of Bees, August does not follow the usual stereotype
and decides to be without a husband. The Daughters of Mary provide each other with support a man
could not. Although women started to rebel during this time, they still could not have credit card or
receive an Ivy League education. In addition, although women were allowed to work, they only
earned 60% of what a man earned. With all these ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the 1960s women started to break away from gender roles, but still needed laws passed to
prove they were there. In 1960, birth control became legal in some states which allowed women to
have the freedom to decide to have children or not. Next, when the Civil Rights Act was passed, it
provided women protection from discrimination in the workforce which allowed them to make a
better living. In 1966, the women s activist group NOW, National Organization for Women, was
formed. Just like NOW came together for women, so did the Daughters of Mary. In the Secret Life of
Bees, the Daughters of Mary are there for each other and represent that women can be independent.
Overall, the Secret Life of Bees brings many of the Women s Rights Movement s points to

Adjuvants In Vaccines
The viruses that cause tumorigenic transformation produce oncoviral antigens. These antigens are
recognized by the immune system as non self because they are present on infected cells (Saxena and
Bhardwaj 2017).
Neoantigens, which are MHC restricted antigens, are produced by mutations in tumor cells so they are
not found on all tumors. Because neoantigens are unique to the individual, vaccines that target these
antigens need to be personalized (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017).
Finally, antigens that are over expressed significantly in tumor cells compared to normal cells are
simply known as overexpressed antigens (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017).

Some New Adjuvants
Nanoparticles are a recently developed type of adjuvant that help vaccines access the lymph nodes.
These nanoparticles can allow the vaccine to be directly deposited into the lymph node, activating
DCs and CTLs via intranodal injections. Nanoparticle vaccines may also reach the lymph node by
lymphatic drainage. In the lymph node, CD8 CTLs are produced by cross presentation of lymph node
DCs (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017). Nanoparticle vaccines could be vital for the future of cancer
treatment.
Another new type of adjuvants are self polymerizing scaffolds. They incorporate TLR agonists and
peptide antigens. This allows the molecule to remain water soluble at room temperature unlike TLR
agonists. The scaffolds undergo temperature dependent self polymerization which makes
immunogenic particles water soluble. These particles are drained to the lymph node where they
activate DCs (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017).
Albumin binding agonists are effective because of the abundance of albumin in the blood and lymph.
Vaccines with albumin binding agonists have TAAs with lipid tails that have a high affinity for
albumin. Once bound, the vaccine is taken to lymph nodes. This vaccine type is known to safely
advance CD8 CTL activation (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017).
Oncolytic viruses can also be used as vaccine adjuvants in oncolytic virus therapy, also known as
virotherapy. This can

Application Of A Mechanical Wave Sound
Applications in medicine
Moreover, toxins pile up in the body, especially outside of the cells due to poor bio electric membrane
voltage, which makes it possible for the toxins to stick to the membrane. This activity inhibits the
natural flow of water into the cells as well as exit of nucleic waste out of the cells. As a result, the
functioning of the cells is compromised until the level whereby toxins penetrate the cell membranes
and thus reaching a level whereby the process is irreversible. Moreover, the body s design has many
organs that are attuned to the electromagnetic phenomena. For example, the brain produces
electromagnetic fields that are both different and separate from those produced by the heart; a
mechanical wave sound is vibrated by the tympanic membrane while the eyes record individual
photon packets. As such, the human body is actively involved in the production and control of
bioelectricity.
Bioelectromagnetism is used in medicine in detoxification whereby the application of
electromagnetism leads to the restoration of integrity to the actual membrane itself to return the cell to
its normal functioning by being selectively permeable. This leads to proper processing of toxins for
elimination whereby the kidneys and liver start to remove more toxins and thereby reducing the
overall toxin load in the body. One major application happened in 1892 when Nikola Tesla met with
Paul Oudin leading to the production of the violet ray , a device that used

The Importance Of Free Day At School
When all of the children enter the room, they are automatically greeted with the song, The Ants Are
Marching . This will get them excited for another day at school. After the song, any announcements
that need to be made will be said and children will then be dismissed to free play at the center of their
choosing.
This free play time at any center will give the children time to socialize and talk about any exciting
news they have with their friends so that they will be quieter through the lessons that are planned the
rest of the day. During this time the teacher is free to check in on any kids if need be.
The children will know that free time is done once the teacher rings the bell. After the children quiet
down the teacher will then begin to sing The Soap on Your Hands . The children will know that when
this song is sung that it is time for then to wash their hands. Once they are done washing their hands,
the teacher will instruct the kids to get to their assigned seat.
Breakfast will be served once all of the children are seated. Wednesday the breakfast will be whole
grain oatmeal that has raspberry halves, strawberry quarters, and blueberries in it. Children will wash
this delightful meal down with a nice glass of ice cold 2% milk. Once each child is finished eating,
they will put their plates and silverware on a tray for the teacher to take care of.
At 8:13, the children will be directed to the group rug for Stretch Time . Stretch Time is a chant that

Nudgee Beach Lab Report
Abstract
The aim of this experiment is to test the changes in and effects o abiotic and biotic factors along a
transect line form low tide to high tide in the mangroves at Nudgee Beach. The hypothesis is that at
low tide the soil texture would be a brown clay with a pH of 9 10, however; at high tide the soil would
be light brown sand with a ph of 8 9. The purpose of this report is to analyze whether the hypothesis
true. The results found match with the hypothesis. At low tide the pH was 8 ½ , whereas at high tide
the pH was 8. At each tide, the air temperatures were similar, except for the low tide, where the
temperature was 17.5°C. The conclusion made was that because mangroves grow better on
ecosystems where there is a high level of rainfall

Bilgamesh Research Paper
The Tales of Bilgames are described as pre dating Gilgamesh s tales, a similarity in their quests can be
seen between the two. Their societies are also mentioned within both stories and they dealt with
Bilgames and Gilgamesh in a similar way; however, the way they deal with death and mortality is
very apparent. Even though there are slight differences in the two stories, the author of Gilgamesh
kept a majority of details the same. The society within Mesopotamia in both these stories is one of
polytheism, worshipping multiple gods and goddesses to lead them through life. Bilgames and

Johann Sebastian Bach
In the 17th century, Johann Sebastian Bach changed the music of the classical world forever. Growing
up, he was a poor boy with several siblings, and his father, Johann Ambrosius Bach, was a musician
who had been playing instruments all of his life. Young Bach soon followed in his father s footsteps
but instead of the violin, he played the organ everyday for hours on end. Bach was no stranger to the
steps he would have to take to be a musician, because of his father s career path, he knew how hard it
would be to become a well known musician. He started his musical path by playing the organ for
ceremonies and royals. He persevered until he eventually reached the best music halls in Europe. He

among their contemporaries and has seemed increasingly spectacular to each succeeding age. Not only
did his immediate family play an instrument, but all of the generations of his family played a musical
instrument. Musical talent in this family has been traced back to Bach s great grandfather. Johann
Ambrosius Bach, Bach s father, taught him and his siblings to learn and love two traditional
instruments for the Baroque period: the violin and the harpsichord. Bach had a natural talent for
instruments, which had probably been passed on to him through his father s genes. While he was still
a child, Johann Ambrosius Bach died eight days after his belovéd wife, so now, both his parents were

Free Will In Macbeth
Originally derived from the Greek Goddesses Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos, fate is believed to be
something that no mortal power can change while free will is completely up to oneself. The story of
Macbeth by Shakespeare focuses on the aspect of fate and how free will affects that. The main
character, Macbeth, gets numerous prophecies throughout the story that are described to be his fate.
On the other hand, how he fulfills the prophecies are solely up to him. Shakespeare utilizes the
prophecies told by the three witches as an initiative to Macbeth s actions, for the prophecies are
Macbeth s fate but his actions are based on free will which illustrates that fate influences the decisions
made through free will.

After killing Duncan, Macbeth remembers the prophecy Banquo received: Thou shalt get kings,
though thou be none (Shakespeare 1.3.67). Feeling that his kingship is being threatened he thinks, For
them the gracious Duncan have I murdered, / Put rancors in the vessel of my peace / Only for them,
and mine eternal jewel / Given to the common enemy of man / To make them kings the seeds of
Banquo kings! / Rather than so, come fate into the list / And champion me to th utterance (3.1.66 72).
Macbeth feels that he killed Duncan only to allow for Banquo s sons to become kings. By saying Only
for them, and mine eternal jewel / Given to the common enemy of man Macbeth is referring to how
his eternal jewel , or kingship, is being threatened by the sons of Banquo. Wanting to fulfill his
original prophecy of becoming king, Macbeth acts and decides to kill Banquo which shows that the
initial impetus of [his] actions seems to be condoned by forces beyond mortal intelligence (Major 78).
Macbeth s decision to kill Banquo was solely inspired by the prophecies that both he and Banquo
received which contained their fates. Macbeth felt threatened by Banquo and his sons, so he made the
decision to murder Banquo in order to protect his own prophecy of becoming King of Scotland, thus,
illustrating that fate initiates the actions that Macbeth does in order to protect the his

Examples Of Logical Fallacies In Advertising
Advertisements are everywhere, on television, radio, social media, billboards, magazines, and even on
yearbooks. On the other hand, would it not be nice if every advertisement an individual saw, read, or
heard were actually true? Like using Axe body spray really did attract women or eating Snickers really
made one satisfied in seconds? Yet, most of the times the advertisements that seem too good to be true,
actually are. In fact, many ads are only slightly true and instead filled with many common errors in
reasoning, known as logical fallacies, a sneaky marketing technique many companies use to trick a
consumer into giving them their undivided attention and money. In fact, one well known company for
using logical fallacies in their advertisements ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Plain folk is the marketing strategy where advertisers portray a person like a well known celebrity like
Lindsey Lohan as a person who is in fact, normal or an everyday Joe. For instance, Lohan explains
that even though she is a singer and actress she is just like anyone else, a person who struggles with
having unclear, bumpy, and acne prone skin stating, I m a normal person and I do get zits and I m not
happy when I do so I like to try and find anything that s preventative towards it and Proactiv has done
that for me. By promoting a person, in this case as Lindsay Lohan, a person who suffers from the
same problems as acne, like anyone else, people gain trust and feel comforted, resulting in the
individual being more open and willing to buy a product. Then again Proactiv is not the only company
that has used and uses logical fallacies in their advertisements to trick people into buying their
products. In fact, if one were to close enough to the advertisements and commercials that are around
them, they would start to see how life is filled with false statements, logical fallacies, and ultimately
scams. Perhaps, people will think twice and be more cautious when buying a product, knowing that in
the end they might just be wasting their

The War On Drugs And Its Effect On Society
Humans have the tendency to wage war on anything which they thing has a negative Fulsy 7
effect on their society or which may affect their way of life. Before the 19th century, alcohol was
considered a product of religious relevance and individualistic satisfaction, but latter people realized it
was being abused and in 1914 the Narcotics Tax Act was introduce. And later the 18 amendment was
introduced prohibiting the sale, manufacture, and transportation of alcohol with exception to religious
or medical use. This can be said to be the beginning of the war on drugs. A drug is a medicine or

Democrats on the other hand refuted these claims saying that it was a witch hunt against African
Americans and their leaders. Others claimed that Nixon was using the war on drugs as a way to
distract the nation from the things which were happening in his administration such as the Vietnam
War and also the scandals and allegations which surrounded him. Despite what the motives may have
been, the war on drugs led to an increase in incarceration, especially among African Americans, and
by so doing many families where destroyed and many African American children ended without
families and had to depend on gangs for shelter and protection. This widely increased the crime rates
since many people where unemployed. Christina Johns in her article clearly articulates that the war on
drugs was clearly a distraction from reality, a reality which was the abonnement and neglect of
minorities by the government. Johns explains that the Johns, Christina. The War on Drugs: Why the
Administration Continues to Pursue a Policy of Criminalization and Enforcement. Social Justice 18,

and this war was effectively executed as many minorities today can barely get a job or even have an

initiated by the Nixon presidency was a failure.

Using Complex Numbers In Circuit Analysis
Complex Analysis:
Complex analysis, traditionally known as the theory of functions of a complex variable, is the branch
of mathematical analysis that investigates functions of complex numbers. It is useful in many branches
of mathematics, including algebraic geometry, number theory, applied mathematics; as well as in
physics, including hydrodynamics and thermodynamics and also in engineering fields such as nuclear,
aerospace, mechanical and electrical engineering.
Murray R. Spiegel described complex analysis as one of the most beautiful as well as useful branches

Take a look at the equations in the previous section. The addition and subtraction equations do not mix
up the real and imaginary parts, but the equations for multiplication and division do. Multiplying a
complex number by a real constant also obviously does not mix up the real and imaginary parts.
Essentially, a linear equation is one that will not mix up the real and imaginary parts of the voltages
and currents. From a practical standpoint, a linear circuit is one that includes only passive components
(resistors, capacitors, and inductors) plus voltage and/or current sources. No diodes, transistors,
vacuum tubes, etc. are allowed. It is perhaps worth mentioning here that the same formalism, with the
same advantages of using complex numbers, works in mechanics when dealing with small, harmonic
oscillations of mechanical systems. voe^(j(wt)) or Io e^(j(wt)) where the phase can be taken to be zero

Witchcraft And Magic Became A Taboo
The use of witchcraft and magic became a taboo in early modern Europe. Most individuals living in
Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries believed that these witches could connect with a different
realm to influence the world they found themselves in, the natural world. There was no way of
pointing out a witch and so these arbitrary guidelines made by looking at stereotypes that outcasts had,
led them early modern Europe into the witch hunts, where unfair trials meant the lives of innocent
individuals were lost. Through the documents found in The Trial of Tempel Anneke, the use of
witchcraft and other forms of sorcery were sought after to aid in time of need, but the actual practice
of witchcraft and use magic were frowned upon by Christians who linked this practice to Satan and
would culminate with the witch s death after an unfair trial.
For those individuals living in Brunswick during the seventeenth century, it was socially acceptable to
go to witches for help. These witches were seen as unconventional healers, who used herbs as
remedies to treat different ailments. While these remedies were unusual to most, their effectiveness
kept bringing back those who sought a witches services. Even though it was acceptable for individuals
to seek the help of a witch, it was frowned upon for a witch to use magic or any form of sorcery to aid
individuals. The people who turned to witches for help were barely punished, but the witch in question

Incredulity may soon be put to rest for the dentist was in the same amount of doubt. Aside from
the fact that I sent a Na ahn to Earth in the first place, that he did not look like a traditional
member of his species added to the dentist s confusion. He ambled around, a tall, marten like
creature with velvety skin rather than fur. He walked on his hind legs, which were bowed
awkwardly out. Unlike most other Na ahns, his eyes would glow a lavender color, but only when
it was pitch black. This was Cronon Yudan, the mastermind behind ... Show more content on

I think that it s just a bunch of garbage. We were meant to eat real food, not
slurp down a tasteless potion. They all drink their meal in twenty seconds or less and go on
with their day. It s such a waste of time, not spending a meal with another person just to talk.
People from as late as the 32nd century would be appalled by us.
I was eating and scanning through the displays of my reading choice when a Na ahn walked in
through the front door of the office. I snapped my head up when I heard the grinding of the
gears of the door, something that needs WD 400, and saw him. Na ahns are very important
aliens throughout the universe, being renowned for their lawyering skills. They are incredibly
respected and have immensely improved the living conditions of the known galaxy. They
developed a system that would create maximum efficiency in the hearing and judgment of
various cases. They rarely come to Earth, though. Old prejudices against lawyers are still
strongly seated in most people s minds. But that s the problem of other people on Earth,

Magna Carta Vs Declaration Of Independence
Magna Carta means The Great Charter it was a peace treaty ending revolution against an English king.
A copy of the Magna Carta s first appearance was part of the Lord Mayor s Show which parade.
Magna Carta states how the government should treat its people. Also The Declaration of Independence
states how the government should treat its people. Finally they will compare and contrast to see if they
are similar in how they treat each other s people.
Magna Carta says that the government should treat its people to have different rights. One right that
they would have is the right of a wealthy widow that would have centuries long relevance. It would
guaranteed them church freedom. This means that the rich widows will have every right and freedom
to be in that church. Another thing he says how the government should treat its people is by making
sure of their safety. Taking care of your safety means you have to follow the rules. Even the king has
to follow these rules for his safety. This is stating that it does not matter how old you are or how young
you are everyone has rules that will keep them safe. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Declaration of Independence says the government should treat its people with equal rights. It states
that all men will be created equal which means they will all have the right to vote. It does not matter

Independence says that the government should treat its people with truth and self evident. That is
when finally women and men were told that everyone would be equal it does not matter if you a men

Research Paper On Dead Sea Scrolls
The Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in eleven caves along the northwest shore of the Dead Sea
between the years 1947 and 1956. The area is 13 miles east of Jerusalem and is 1300 feet below sea
level. The mostly fragmented texts, are numbered according to the cave that they came out of. They
have been called the greatest manuscript discovery of modern times. In total, scholars have identified
the remains of about 825 to 870 separate scrolls. The Scrolls have been divided into two categories,
biblical and non biblical. Fragments of every book of the Old Testament have been discovered except
for the book of Esther. The Scrolls were written in Hebrew and Aramaic. Aramaic was the common
language of the Jews of Palestine for the last two centuries

Should Doctors Be Tried in Consumer Courts
The Indian Supreme Court has ruled that doctors can be sued for medical negligence in consumer
courts set up under India s consumer protection act of 1986. The landmark judgment, delivered last
week, caps the nine year old controversy over whether doctors providing medical services to patients
on payment of fees can be held liable under this act.
Responding to appeals by doctors against earlier judgments by state high courts, the Supreme Court
ruled that patients aggrieved by deficiencies in medical services rendered for payment can claim
damages

Instead we expect them to serve the masses, with minimal(or sometimes even nil) infrastructure, no

responsibility of a doctor to serve selflessly his fellow beings? Is this not the first thing taught in
medical colleges?!! May be I am keeping my foot on one more debatable topic.!!!!

Now let me stir the pot a bit more. People die, as sure as they are born, they will die. Its a fact of life
and one had better learn to accept it. People do not die ONLY because of doctors mistakes. If my
memory does not fail me, the lady, whose death caused the JJ Hospital incident, was 75 years old. No
details about what she was suffering from, on how long she was ailing, or the condition she was
brought to the hospital in.Despite lacking these vital dfetails, you are ready to accept that the death
was due to negligence. That is being unfair.Years ago, when I was still a houseman, we had a patient
brought in with a myocardial infarction. The man had suffered a couple of infarctions over the years
and his family was well aware that the next one could be fatal.Despite our best efforts he died. The
family accepted this and were taking the body away, when the youngest son arrived. This guy had

Shakespeare Is a Fraud
SHAKESPEARE IS A FRAUD
January 25th 2012
Shakespeare is a Fraud One cannot write thirty six plays, one hundred and fifty four sonnets and two
long narrative poems if they were ordinary. But unbelievably, William Shakespeare did just that from
1564 1616. People have questioning how Shakespeare achieved writing such great pieces of literature,
when the behind the scenes story does not add up. There are no records to prove he wrote anything
and there is proof someone else did what he took credit for. In my opinion, Macbeth and Titus
Andronicus, two of Shakespeare s plays are strong examples of pieces of literature that was not
actually created by Shakespeare. I believe William Shakespeare, the man with ... Show more content

Throughout twelve different plays, Shakespeare has twelve different signatures (Ten reasons). In
addition writing from the heart. Shakespeare pour s his heart out throughout his sonnets, but never
once mentions the death of his eleven year old son, whereas Ben Johnson wrote an amazing and
beautiful poem when his son died (Ten reasons). This suggests the man who is writing these plays is
not the real Shakespeare because he never mentioned his son s tragic death in his work and had
inconsistent handwriting.
Lastly, The director of Anonymous states that there are no educational records or any other records
connecting to Shakespeare. It is nearly impossible to gain the amount of knowledge Shakespeare had
with out going to school. There are no records to prove that Shakespeare ever attended the Stratford
grammar school, yet the work of who really wrote these plays shows extensive knowledge about
medicine, astronomy, art, music, military, law, philosophy, and activities such as royal tennis and
falconry (Ten reason). It is unbelievable for one to know all that without even a trace of school. This
suggests that some one else wrote the plays because Shakespeare does not have the education and
knowledge to do so. Likewise, it is strange how one knows so much about foreign countries without
ever leaving their country. Shakespeare s records show that he has never left

The Pros And Cons Of Refugee Camps
Introduction
Since the beginning of history, the world has passed through a significant number of conflicts and
wars, each defending a position. The reasons are usually religion beliefs, territory acquisition, and the
search of the increase of power. During these conflicts, victims that suffered the consequences, losing
their shelter as an example, end up leaving that area and are consequently seen as refugees in their
new living area. Refugee camps should make them adapt to the new country, supporting them with
supplies after such a difficult time, but that is not what has happened during these years. The refugees
are treated badly, the camps have poor hygiene and health care, no education programs, neither the
minimum acquired in the human ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are several refugee camps around Europe, such as in Italy, Hungary, Greece and other countries.
Plenty of those face struggles when dealing with the quality inside a camp. Most of them do not
present half of the living conditions required, even the minimum acquired from the human rights.
According to the researches of UNHCR, camps are facing, as a difficult obstacle, problems to solve to
according to the quantity of liters of water per person. Some do not have satisfactory latrine facilities,
nor decent water disposal services.
The number of refugee has been increasing every year. The individuals who reside these camps as a
refugee are allowed to stay in the camp for eighteen months maximum so that they can be integrated
into society. Living one whole year in poor conditions, as found in these pauperized refugee camps,
may lead to a chance of serious diseases because of water contamination and bad hygiene. In the past
years, cholera is a disease found in many people who live in refugee camps in the past years,
transmitted by bacteria in a contaminated water

Time And Timeless Time
What Kenner fails to understand is Eliot is not having any superficial knowledge or understanding of
time and Timeless Time. He has a realisation that is more than just a glimpse. The moments of
intersection of Timeless Time and time have great significance in Eliot s poetry because the
consciousness of such moments comes when an individual is spiritually enlightened. He can witness
the source from which all time emerges and that source in itself is Eternal. The still point, the
Timelessness, the Divine, the Eteranl is the source. There is no other way with which an individual
can escape time and the suffering related to it. It is only Timeless Time that can liberate an individual
from time. Eternity is time s ultimate limit which in itself ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Though he continued writing Poetic Dramas for many more years, but Four Quartets mark the end of
his regular poetry. He finished the Quartets on the peak of his spiritual realisation which he tried to set
as an example to be followed by the posterity. The last section of the Four Quartets is considered as
the greatest spiritual vision of Eliot. The very opening words Midwinter spring does not signify any
paradox that Eliot would relish but is symbolic of spiritual renewal and revitalisation in midst of a
spiritual barrenness caused by the World Wars. He felt the pressure of the social and political events
that were taking their toll on the psyche of the common man. Like everyone else in this period, his life
became one of monotony and anxiety, caught in the middle period when pre war life seemed unreal
and post war life unimaginable. (Ackroyd 1984: 264) The interplay of the dualities is shown, but there
is more of harmony in it than any kind of opposition. There is an impossible union; the contraries like
frost and fire are brought together to be resolved. Metaphorically, their fusion signifies the advent of
an eternal spring where the contraries, even the extreme ones have no

Nursing Care Concepts
Define and Describe the Key Concepts of Care.
This essay covers the Key concepts of care. In 2013 the Francis report highlighted the need for student
nurses to test and experience their values and levels of care and compassion, and whilst it is seen that
the failures highlighted in the report go further than a lost compassion of nursing, this exercise is to
look at the key concepts of care and the principles of the 6 Cs (Care, Compassion, Courage,
Communication, Competence and Commitment) which have been identified as fundamental values,
although not the only ones as nurses have other core values such as organisational, professional and
NHS values to work to. I have selected one of the 6 Cs (communication) for a more detailed
description from which I will then provide as requested in my brief an example specific to its
application in a particular service. The area I have selected to apply this to, is Dementia.
The nature of the interrelation of care and nursing has been recognised by theorists over several
decades internationally, back in 2002 caring both as a natural attribute of being human and the core of
nursing was identified by Sister Simone Roach of Canada. Sister Simone Roach was responsible for a
similar set of the 6Cs to the ones we recognise today.
Several reports of poor care arose in 2009 regarding Mid Staffordshire hospital which concluded that
patients needed to be protected from harm, patients had been subject to unacceptable risk of harm and
that patients had failed to be treated in the appropriate way. The Francis report was commissioned to
look into the failings and examine why nurses failed to treat patients appropriately, stemming from the
Francis report came 209 recommendations. In 2012 the DH publication Compassion in Practice:
Nursing Midwifery and Care Staff Our vision and strategy Cummings Bennett (2012). included the 6
Cs. Reports from the Winterbourne View Hospital (DH 2012) and the Mid Staffordshire NHS
Foundation trust (Francis 2013) reported of the need to improve the care culture after highlighting a
lack of compassion.
In 2013 the government announced a three year

Texas, United States of America adebola.akeredolu@mavs.uta.edu Abstract In the world we live in
today, there is an ever growing need for robotic manipulators. These needs cut across all areas of life
ranging from healthcare to automated assembly. In order to meet these various applications, there is a
need for custom designs and continuous improvement on existing designs to meet job requirements
and customer satisfaction. This report involves the design and simulation of a virtual manipulator for
manufacturing processes. The goal for this virtual manipulator is to allow quick testing and
implementation without having to build a physical robot. It saves time and cost, it also helps the
designer to see flaws in his design without wasting so much time and funds.
INTRODUCTION
The desire for automated manufacturing has been prevalent for well over the past century but it is yet
to be fully accepted into the industry almost entirely due to the high associated costs. Automated
manufacturing processes in the past have required expensive and robust machinery

The Vietnam War, American Men And Women Soldiers
During the Vietnam War, American men and women soldiers, the majority of whom had volunteered,
were sent to a place where nothing was accommodating. Not even the soldier s issued equipment was

what they would encounter in Vietnam, or upon their return to a place where they should have been

One third of the soldiers were drafted, and two thirds of the soldiers were volunteers ( Vietnam War
History ). Approximately, eleven thousand of the soldiers stationed in Vietnam were women, and
ninety percent of the women were army nurses ( Women in the Vietnam War ). The American soldiers
had arrived in Vietnam with equipment that wasn t well suited to deal with the brutal jungle climates
of Vietnam. Soldiers, before being shipped out, received standard gear: steel helmets, cotton uniforms,
later nylon uniforms, M 16 rifles, anti personnel fragmentation grenades, claymore anti personnel
mines, canteens, canvas field packs, and standard issue black leather combat boots ( Weapons of War
). Soldiers would personalize their gear, abandon their gear, or even take equipment from the enemy
soldiers in order for their equipment to be more effective when combating the terrain. According to
Weapons of War , the soldiers had problems with essentially all of their gear. The helmets were
extremely weighty and sweltering, and were often abandoned in favor of floppy, fabric hats. The
cotton uniforms deteriorated in the Vietnam climate. The military tried to fix this problem by
developing clothing that was made with ripstop nylon. However, the solution didn t have the outcome
the military hoped it would have. Spare clothes were treasured but were very burdensome to haul
around. The

  • 2. Consciousness Among African Americans Women Essay Consciousness Among African Americans Women Samantha Venturina Middlesex County College Abstract Race and ethnicity play a crucial role in one s life. Communities worldwide were developed around diverse racial and ethnic identities whom proffer internal sources of resilience to others in the community. However, these aspects can consist of adverse social consequences that influence an individual s chances of receiving quality medical care, getting a job offer or loan, and/or being falsely accused by authoritative figures. In addition to these hostile effects, one would ponder if it has a detrimental effect a person s own self esteem. Recall the racial, class, and social inequality in the United States of America in the 1960s (Eaton, Livingston, McAdoo, 2008). Those who were considered minorities, such as the Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and various other races, dealt with the earliest form of discrimination back in the days. For an elongated time, African Americans were especially susceptible to the harsh and cruel discrimination in America as described in history classes. Given the prolonged exposure to such negativity, numerous social scientists were puzzled on whether the psychological health of African Americans was possible. While there were several studies that found race related attitudes to be positively related to healthier psychological outcomes in African Americans; there were only an insufficient amount of reports that endeavored to assess what factors precede ... • 3. Evolution Of Sharks Essay Amongst the many living creatures of the aquatic world lurks an evolutionary advanced species called Selachimorpha, commonly known as Sharks. Sharks are the most dominantly feared creatures of the marine world. Although they are perceived as a threat to humans, these animals keep marine organisms in check. Sharks have developed a unique physical structure that enables them to efficiently hunt prey while simultaneously playing a vital role in balancing the ecosystem. These apex predators fall under the classification class Chondrichthyes, which is comprised of cartilaginous skeleton. Chondrichthyes is sub divided into two classes; the Elasmobranchii, composed of sharks, skates and rays, and the Holocephali ( Shark Taxonomy 8). As we move further down the scientific classification, identifying these similar looking creatures become more difficult. Their order is separated into two super orders, which are the extinct Cladoselachimorph and the Euselachii; composed of 12 orders of which only nine are amongst us today (9). Many scientists believe that sharks descended from an eyeless, finless, and boneless leaf shaped fish and that they came to existence at around 400 million years ago ( Shark Evolution 1). Documented fossil records show that there were over 3,000 types of sharks and may have existed at the same period of time (Jones, The Epic History of Sharks ). The reason it is difficult to discover them all is due to the rotting of the cartilaginous bone structure ( Shark ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 8. Examples Of Overcoming Nihilism Overcoming Nihilism according to Nietzsche In this paper, I will explore Nietzsche s considerations towards nihilism and the philosopher s views on overcoming it. My conclusion is that Nietzsche s strategy of overcoming nihilism is indeed viable and a potential to be successful given the pragmatic nature of the individual. I will investigate further on the reasons why this is the case. My assumptions in examples below are based on an application of the Nietzsche s solution on a reasonably mentally stable individual. First, let s assume Friedrich Nietzsche s definition of nihilism. According to Nietzsche: 1) Every belief, every considering something true, is necessarily false because there simply is no true world . ...That there is no truth, that there is no absolute nature of things nor a thing in itself. (Will to Power) 2) [Nihilism] ...places the value of things precisely in the lack of any reality corresponding to these values and in their being merely a symptom of strength on the part of the value positers, a simplification for the sake of life. (Will to Power) Therefore, an individual must accept absolute nihilism where there is no pre determined higher meaning to life, no goals an individual is destined to achieve and no social constructs to follow. Building upon this argument, Nietzsche elaborates in Will to Power that Nihilism is . . . not only the belief that everything deserves to perish; but one actually puts one s shoulder to the plough; one destroys . ... • 10. Gender Issues In The Secret Life Of Bees The Secret Life of Bees includes many issues that were going on during the 1960 s. Some issues stated were more sought after than others depending where in the country one was located. In the book, Lily lives in the heart of the south, South Carolina, which makes it easy to point out specific, debatable topics. With this, The Secret Life of Bees portrays many of the movements and issues prevalent in the 1960s like Gender Issues, the Women s Rights Movement, and the Civil Rights movement. As stated, the Secret Life of Bees provides an inside look at Gender Issues. During the 1960s, women started to break free from the stereotype that they had to find marriage in their early 20s and have children in the following years. In Secret Life of Bees, August does not follow the usual stereotype and decides to be without a husband. The Daughters of Mary provide each other with support a man could not. Next, when the Civil Rights Act was passed, it provided women protection from discrimination in the workforce which allowed them to make a better living. In 1966, the women s activist group NOW, National Organization for Women, was formed. Just like NOW came together for women, so did the Daughters of Mary. • 11. Adjuvants In Vaccines The viruses that cause tumorigenic transformation produce oncoviral antigens. These antigens are recognized by the immune system as non self because they are present on infected cells (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017). Neoantigens, which are MHC restricted antigens, are produced by mutations in tumor cells so they are not found on all tumors. Because neoantigens are unique to the individual, vaccines that target these antigens need to be personalized (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017). Finally, antigens that are over expressed significantly in tumor cells compared to normal cells are simply known as overexpressed antigens (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017). Adjuvants in Vaccines Adjuvants are substances that can boost the immune system. They are extremely ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Some New Adjuvants Nanoparticles are a recently developed type of adjuvant that help vaccines access the lymph nodes. These nanoparticles can allow the vaccine to be directly deposited into the lymph node, activating DCs and CTLs via intranodal injections. Nanoparticle vaccines may also reach the lymph node by lymphatic drainage. In the lymph node, CD8 CTLs are produced by cross presentation of lymph node DCs (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017). Nanoparticle vaccines could be vital for the future of cancer treatment. Another new type of adjuvants are self polymerizing scaffolds. They incorporate TLR agonists and peptide antigens. This allows the molecule to remain water soluble at room temperature unlike TLR agonists. The scaffolds undergo temperature dependent self polymerization which makes immunogenic particles water soluble. These particles are drained to the lymph node where they activate DCs (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017). Albumin binding agonists are effective because of the abundance of albumin in the blood and lymph. Vaccines with albumin binding agonists have TAAs with lipid tails that have a high affinity for albumin. Once bound, the vaccine is taken to lymph nodes. This vaccine type is known to safely advance CD8 CTL activation (Saxena and Bhardwaj 2017). Oncolytic viruses can also be used as vaccine adjuvants in oncolytic virus therapy, also known as virotherapy. This can ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. Application Of A Mechanical Wave Sound Applications in medicine Moreover, toxins pile up in the body, especially outside of the cells due to poor bio electric membrane voltage, which makes it possible for the toxins to stick to the membrane. This activity inhibits the natural flow of water into the cells as well as exit of nucleic waste out of the cells. As a result, the functioning of the cells is compromised until the level whereby toxins penetrate the cell membranes and thus reaching a level whereby the process is irreversible. Moreover, the body s design has many organs that are attuned to the electromagnetic phenomena. For example, the brain produces electromagnetic fields that are both different and separate from those produced by the heart; a mechanical wave sound is vibrated by the tympanic membrane while the eyes record individual photon packets. As such, the human body is actively involved in the production and control of bioelectricity. Bioelectromagnetism is used in medicine in detoxification whereby the application of electromagnetism leads to the restoration of integrity to the actual membrane itself to return the cell to its normal functioning by being selectively permeable. This leads to proper processing of toxins for elimination whereby the kidneys and liver start to remove more toxins and thereby reducing the overall toxin load in the body. One major application happened in 1892 when Nikola Tesla met with Paul Oudin leading to the production of the violet ray , a device that used ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Even though there are slight differences in the two stories, the author of Gilgamesh kept a majority of details the same. Growing up, he was a poor boy with several siblings, and his father, Johann Ambrosius Bach, was a musician who had been playing instruments all of his life. Young Bach soon followed in his father s footsteps but instead of the violin, he played the organ everyday for hours on end. Bach was no stranger to the steps he would have to take to be a musician, because of his father s career path, he knew how hard it would be to become a well known musician. Not only did his immediate family play an instrument, but all of the generations of his family played a musical instrument. Musical talent in this family has been traced back to Bach s great grandfather. Johann Ambrosius Bach, Bach s father, taught him and his siblings to learn and love two traditional instruments for the Baroque period: the violin and the harpsichord. Bach had a natural talent for instruments, which had probably been passed on to him through his father s genes. Free Will In Macbeth Originally derived from the Greek Goddesses Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos, fate is believed to be something that no mortal power can change while free will is completely up to oneself. The story of Macbeth by Shakespeare focuses on the aspect of fate and how free will affects that. The main character, Macbeth, gets numerous prophecies throughout the story that are described to be his fate. On the other hand, how he fulfills the prophecies are solely up to him. • 36. Nursing Care Concepts Define and Describe the Key Concepts of Care. This essay covers the Key concepts of care. In 2013 the Francis report highlighted the need for student nurses to test and experience their values and levels of care and compassion, and whilst it is seen that the failures highlighted in the report go further than a lost compassion of nursing, this exercise is to look at the key concepts of care and the principles of the 6 Cs (Care, Compassion, Courage, Communication, Competence and Commitment) which have been identified as fundamental values, although not the only ones as nurses have other core values such as organisational, professional and NHS values to work to. I have selected one of the 6 Cs (communication) for a more detailed description from which I will then provide as requested in my brief an example specific to its application in a particular service. The area I have selected to apply this to, is Dementia. The nature of the interrelation of care and nursing has been recognised by theorists over several decades internationally, back in 2002 caring both as a natural attribute of being human and the core of nursing was identified by Sister Simone Roach of Canada. Sister Simone Roach was responsible for a similar set of the 6Cs to the ones we recognise today. Several reports of poor care arose in 2009 regarding Mid Staffordshire hospital which concluded that patients needed to be protected from harm, patients had been subject to unacceptable risk of harm and that patients had failed to be treated in the appropriate way. The Francis report was commissioned to look into the failings and examine why nurses failed to treat patients appropriately, stemming from the Francis report came 209 recommendations. In 2012 the DH publication Compassion in Practice: Nursing Midwifery and Care Staff Our vision and strategy Cummings Bennett (2012). included the 6 Cs. These needs cut across all areas of life ranging from healthcare to automated assembly. In order to meet these various applications, there is a need for custom designs and continuous improvement on existing designs to meet job requirements and customer satisfaction. This report involves the design and simulation of a virtual manipulator for manufacturing processes. The goal for this virtual manipulator is to allow quick testing and implementation without having to build a physical robot. It saves time and cost, it also helps the designer to see flaws in his design without wasting so much time and funds. INTRODUCTION The desire for automated manufacturing has been prevalent for well over the past century but it is yet to be fully accepted into the industry almost entirely due to the high associated costs. Automated manufacturing processes in the past have required expensive and robust machinery ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 38. The Vietnam War, American Men And Women Soldiers During the Vietnam War, American men and women soldiers, the majority of whom had volunteered, were sent to a place where nothing was accommodating. Not even the soldier s issued equipment was adequate or accommodating. They were not emotionally, psychologically, or materially equipped for what they would encounter in Vietnam, or upon their return to a place where they should have been safe; home. The Vietnam environment was nasty, brutish, and dehumanizing on the soldiers. Young men and women, mostly in their late teens and early twenties were sent into a living hell where most of them either would not or could not return. In addition, upon their return home, they were not welcomed as returning victors who had sacrificed their lives for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One third of the soldiers were drafted, and two thirds of the soldiers were volunteers ( Vietnam War History ). Approximately, eleven thousand of the soldiers stationed in Vietnam were women, and ninety percent of the women were army nurses ( Women in the Vietnam War ). The American soldiers had arrived in Vietnam with equipment that wasn t well suited to deal with the brutal jungle climates of Vietnam. Soldiers, before being shipped out, received standard gear: steel helmets, cotton uniforms, later nylon uniforms, M 16 rifles, anti personnel fragmentation grenades, claymore anti personnel mines, canteens, canvas field packs, and standard issue black leather combat boots ( Weapons of War ). Soldiers would personalize their gear, abandon their gear, or even take equipment from the enemy soldiers in order for their equipment to be more effective when combating the terrain. According to Weapons of War , the soldiers had problems with essentially all of their gear. The helmets were extremely weighty and sweltering, and were often abandoned in favor of floppy, fabric hats. The cotton uniforms deteriorated in the Vietnam climate. The military tried to fix this problem by developing clothing that was made with ripstop nylon. However, the solution didn t have the outcome the military hoped it would have. Spare clothes were treasured but were very burdensome to haul around. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
