Themes Of Love By Pablo Neruda
Exploring Neruda s Themes of Love, Patriotism, and Nature through Specific Stylistic Devices
Pablo Neruda was the pen name of Ricardo Eliezer Neftali Reyes y Basoalto, a poet who not only
inspired lovers around the world but also gave voices to workers and miners and monumentalized
the beauty of the Americas and his culture. Through his use of imagery, especially nature imagery,
and symbolism, Pablo Neruda intertwines universal themes like love and patriotism with raw
emotion and uses his subjectivity to create poems in a unique style. In fact, in an interview with
Eric Bockstael, he said, My ambition as a writer, if there is an ambition, is to write about all the
things that I see, that I touch, that I know, that I love, or that I hate. ... Show more content on

he has changed his perspective, he uses the famous thrice repeated line Come and see the blood

motivate concern about the situation in Spain, and to remind the reader of the brutality of the war

The Presidential Selection Of 1860
The presidential selection of 1860 set the stage for the American Civil war. By 1860, the nation
had been at odds mostly up to that point regarding questions of states rights and slavery in the
territories. Southerners were livid over the preparation by an abolitionist, John Brown, to establish a
slave uprising at Harper Ferry, Virginia. This event garnered headlines all over the nation in
newspapers and magazines. On the other hand, the Northern Republic seemed equally infuriated by
the Supreme Court verdict in the case of Dred Scott v. Stanford, which affirmed free soil
unconstitutional. The Northern Democrats, however, struggled to convince the Americans that
their guidelines of popular sovereignty still made sense. Enter the presidential election of 1860,
which brought these tribulations to a clash with dramatic cost. The Democratic Party divided into
three groups along their provincial lines, with each person vying for control of the party and each
holding dissimilar ideas about how to deal with servitude in the West. Their candidates consisted of
John C. Breckinride, John Bell, and Stephen A. Douglas; their efforts would be rubbish, however,
as Abraham Lincoln would be triumphant for the Republican Party. Lincoln stood on the grounds
that the West should be completely liberated of slavery entirely; which apparently was sufficient as
he won the election with less than forty percent of the popular vote. On a side note about the
election, fifty nine percent of the

The Skeleton Owner s Gender, Ethnicity, Height, And Age
INTRODUCTION At 4 pm, in a certain park, 2 skeletons were found lying side by side behind
the bushes. It was concluded that the two were a couple because they were holding hands whilst
the skull was facing each other. A femur, pelvic girdles, skulls, tibia, and humerus were taken
from each of the skeleton and observations were made to identify their gender, race, age, and
height. One is a female, and the other was a male, also the skeletons pretty much remained intact
from being undisturbed however, a few of the hand or feet bones can be found lying a little further
off perhaps due to the scattering of birds.
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS There were many factors that lead t the discovery of the skeleton

Nevertheless, the unidentified person may have had malnutrition, which would lead to stunted
growth in certain areas that happened to not affect the humerus or femur. Back to how the results
came out, the students plugged the measurements into certain formulas according to race and
gender. By having these differences in formula, it made it more accurate because each race and
gender, due to genetics, can make the height different. The age was 30 years and above. By
observing some of the skeletal structures, it was able to give an estimate. Places that were
inspected were the humerus, femur, and pelvis. It was especially the pelvis where all segments of
the sacrum are united with no evidence of epiphyseal unions that gave away the fact that she was
30 years old plus. The others, like the femur and humerus, would give a general age however the
standards stopped at the age of 20; the bone doesn t shift much past that unless its osteoporosis or
something similar.
FURTHER ANALYSIS Facial reconstruction is used as a last resort to identify remains by placing
clay atop the skeleton in hopes of reconstructing what that person may look like to get a possible
identification. They would gather average tissue thickness from the ethnicity, gender, and age

Fahrenheit 451 Nature Analysis
In the article Nature , Emerson displays the values of nature, and why man cannot grasp the true
significance of nature without being in solitude. By presenting the real beauty of nature in a
multitude of ways, the author supports his reasoning with valid evidence. Ultimately, the article is
intended to render the reader various thoughts about the value of nature. First and foremost, relating
to the novel Fahrenheit 451, Montag s journey into nature reflects the one depicted by Emerson in
varied ways. For example, Montag took time when he was alone to really look at the stars, is
described by Emerson when he states, If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how
would men believe and adore (Lewis). Montag in Fahrenheit 451

However, it is difficult to find out specific evidences on the effects of culture on the company s

is not reliable in an accounting context (Nobes and Parker, 2012). For example, UK and Germany
use different legal and accounting systems despite both of them are European countries. German
companies are in operating under their own laws and policies. Secondly, compared with the
measurement of direct relevant elements of the external environment of accounting such as legal
systems or equity markets, the measurements of cultural influences within a company accounting
system are vague and indirect (Nobes and parker, 2012). Culture measurement is complex, Hofstede

Powerful Female Characters in Theater Essay
Powerful Female Characters in Theater A craving for life and the pursuit of happiness are
concepts everyone cherishes in one way or another. Everyone s goals and ambitions for the future
vary from one to the next, yet each person shares a common bond, each hope for their own personal
happiness.
The search of the truth and the power it produces cause internal conflict during one s pursuit of this
so called happiness. The search for this is not made without obstacles along the way. One must
overcome the tribulations handed to him or her by his or her society. Often women have a more
difficult time breaking through the chains that society has cast upon them. In three specific

In Henrik Isben s Hedda Gabler, he masterfully portrays the main character,
Hedda, as neither a monster nor a saint . . . [she] is simply a tragic character who is destroyed
by the unharmonious and irreconciliable contrasts in her own character. Ibsen first expressed
Hedda s emotional sterility by showing how she is unable to reciprocate in a relationship. Hedda
s lack of freedom to act independently in the society that caused her to believe that she would
find an answer in manipulation causes her to come face to face with reality. She is forced to
realize that her efforts are futile and her manipulation is only hurting herself. Like a young child,
she can only receive without knowing how to give in return. This highly intense interest with the
lives of others is another aspect of her emotionally empty life. While at the same time of
investigating and analyzing other people s lives is one way for Hedda to gain some
understanding of her own unsatisfied self, she ultimately reveals that she herself is very frail,
fragile, and self centered. It is this indeed that puts Hedda on her path to a tragic destruction, a
path that is being taken rather quickly. Another way in which Isben displays her thirst for more in
her life is when Hedda burns the manuscript. Hedda feels that somehow destroying something that
she should have been able to create in the first place will make her feel

Summary(475) The Globe Theater was established by Shakespeare s acting company, Lord
Chamberlain s Men, in 1599. It was composed of 5 brilliant actors: Augustine Phillips, Will Kempe,
Thomas Pope, John Heminge, and William Shakespeare. Shakespeare s wealth and career
developed in this theater, which showed some of his plays like Henry VII. A funny incident that
occurred during the showing of this play on June 29, 1613 was that a fireball special effect was
miss shot and hit the theater, sending it to flames. The theater was quickly rebuilt within 2 years
and started showing plays to the citizens once again. The Globe Theater was a hexagonal structure

It could have had an emphasis on social class and identity. Religious reasons could also play a
major role in deciding styles for clothing. Generally men of this period wore heavily puffed
clothing of a silk or thick cotton material. These also had the benefits of warming one up in a
cold winter day. Layers were used in outfits to create a puffing image. The outfit would usually
be completed with a fur, leather, or velvet hat. Because of Spain s growing empire, the influence
from this region brought over a variety clothing styles. It seems that generally people back then
all wore thick layers even in hot weather. Outfits were very structured and rigid, possibly due to
preserving a straight back for great posture and manners. Many accessories were added to
increase one s image and social stature. Usually, outfits included a black color. This is the first
time that black is introduced into clothing. Black clothes would have the effect of making one
seem sleeker in figure and it would complement many different colors of inside layers or
accessories. Black has the great effect of highlighting colors on top of the mono color surface.
People back then could have worn this color to show off their power by emphasizing the silver
or gold jewelry. In this period of time, slimmer shoe designs were introduced for men. They
would occasionally have ribbon decor on them in a puffing format. This made walking or doing
daily activities easier because the shoes were more comfortable. Codpieces also became popular
in men s fashion of this time. In women s fashion, dresses were more popular. Like in many
older civilizations, very rigid and structures dresses were used. These were basically cases for
humans to help them keep a good posture and figure. The insides of the dresses would be lined
with wire to restrict the woman s figure and squish and mold the body into a certain hourglass
shape. The torso would be

chapter is in the Promise Land. I believe this because he says that this is the land that the

of fulfillment. Here, God test; the faith of Abram and asks his to perform a sacrifice. Verse 1 begins

I verse 2 3, Abram asks the Lord what he (the Lord) wants from him since he does not have any
children. He mentions a man by the name of Eliezer of Damascus. This is the person he says
that will inherit his estate if he shall die. Who is this guy? Where did he come from I mean how
is he involved with Abram? From what I read in the notes of my bible (NIV) they say that this
man could be the servant of Abram. The servants of the owners can be the people that inherit the
land of their owners if the owner was to die. During my reading I never found out where he was
from but I seen that he was also kind of mentioned in Exodus 4:20. In verse 4 5 the Lord tells
Abram that he will have children to take over the land that he has. God has not given Abram
everything that he has promised right on the spot he wants to make sure that Abram has faith in
him but he will fulfill his promises just as he said. God tells Abram to count all the stars in the
sky there are millions of them when he looks up. I believe is saying that we are all decedents or
children that Abram would have. Thus he will make a great nation and have children. Here
Abram repeats the idea of his servant getting the land. This could be because he wants God to
know he wants a child and that God has not given him any like he (God) had promised. In verse 6,
there is no talking between Abram and

way like two parallel rivers in governance in aspects of life, in practice the two systems are often

social matters, while Taoism concerns itself with the search for meaning. They share common
beliefs about man, society, and the universe, although these notions were around long before either

ideal ruler and government do not interfere in the lives of the people and lead them to prosperity of
primitive simplicity by nonaction and focuses on intuitive spontaneity. It is civilization that has
corrupted humanity from its early state of innocence but realistically as a person or society lives
and ages there is no such thing as innocence as one must grow and learn. The sage practices
nonaction, gives up worldly ambitions, and lives a simple life in accord with nature though that one
does. The dedication to right relationships and a solid social order contrast directly with the inner
direct intuition of Taoism. While both philosophies of Confucianism and Taoism may end up with

other is impeded by environmental variables and through inaction and exclusiveness may cause

says. It is very common in many countries all over the world. Henry David Thoreau wrote a book

Lab Report On Gram-Negative Bacteria
In the world of microbiology it is vitally important to be able to discern the identities of
microorganisms. Not only is it important in a lab setting but as well as in healthcare in general.
Properly identify what strain of bacteria a person has will aid in the proper medicine and dose
given. Throughout the semester we have learned about different types of bacteriaand certain test
that can clearly identify them. The purpose of this lab report is to identify a Gram positive or
Gram negative bacterium. Using all the knowledge of procedures and lab techniques identify the
unknown and discuss all the tests you performed.
Introduction
Gram staining is a technique used to determine if the bacteria is Gram positive or Gram negative.
Gram staining procedure uses crystal violet stain, iodine moderator, alcohol decolorizer and safarin
counter stain. In Gram negative bacteria the primary stain will be washed out with the decolorizer
and it will be stained with the counterstain. Whereas in Gram positive bacteria the primary stain
will not leave the cell wall. This difference comes from difference in the structure of the cell wall
that retains the stain.
The Gram positive cell wall is composed of peptidoglycans, a thick layer of protein sugar
complexes taking up 60 90% of their cell wall. Peptidoglycan is composed of two glucose
derivatives, N acetylmuramic acid and N acetylglucosamine alternated and cross linked by
tetrapeptides that is composed of L alanine, D glutamine, L lysine

things they ve done. Also change has taken a major role in our world today. Two great examples
that contributed in the global change would be Marco poloand Elizabeth Woodville. Marco polo
was best known for being a traveler though he didn t like to be referred as one. Polo considered
himself a wayfarer. At the young age of 17, polo went to his first journey to Cathay, modern day

first commoner to become queen of England. She was widowed by John grey, before Grey s death
she had 2 kids with him. Elizabeth was left with nothing until she met a handsome king which shell

A Fateful Night Case Study
A Fateful Night: Hip Hops Meteoric Rise due to the New York Blackout of 1977 In the 1960s and
1970s America found itself in a tumultuous period as growing discontent with the Vietnam War,
economic downturn, and Civil Rights occupied the foreground of the national dialogue. The
combinations of social, racial, and economic upheaval the country experienced was no better
demonstrated than in America s grandest of cities, New York. Within this microcosm, the problems
that many of the nation s older urban centers experienced as socio economic and racial lines were re
drawn, were most exacerbated in historically Black and Latino communities. In this case most

Anecdotal evidence from early adopters present a first person source of the developments that
occurred during the 1977 New York power outage that ultimately led to the dissemination of hip
hop music into the cultural mainstream. The claims are corroborated by an increase in hip hop
interest in the summer of 1977 and the subsequent release of the first commercially successful hip
hop single in 1979. However, ultimately it was the anger and frustration felt by minority groups in
the South Bronx, due to the detrimental social and economic policies implemented by the New
York city government, that created an atmosphere where wide scale looting and arson during the
1977 New York power outage, could provide a means for future DJ s to get a hold of the necessary

The Development Of The Fisheries And Tourism On The...
The development of the fisheries and the tourist trade, writes Connie Chiang in Shaping the
Shoreline: Fisheries and Tourism on the Monterey Coast, illuminates the deeply entangled social
and environmental histories that together transformed Monterey through time. Thus the central
contribution of Chiang s book is illuminating the intersection of social and environmental history
from the perspective of an environmental history. The environmental story deals with the fisheries,
canneries, and eventual aquarium celebrating the environment and Monterey s past. Central to the
social story are the conflicts and interactions between people of different gender, class, race, and
ethnicity. While Chiang beautifully intersects the two historical subfields, attention to the
intersection of social categories was lacking. Throughout the book, there were brief moments of
intersectional analysis that greatly contributed to the text. However, these were few and far
between. I demonstrate that had Chiang used the rich intersectional understanding of society on the
Monterey more often, the book would have been greatly strengthened. Moments where Chiang does
acknowledge the intersecting identities of Monterey inhabitants and visitors help to strengthen her
book. The moment where this first appears is in her discussion of Chinese immigrants to Monterey.

Jim Crow laws established separate but equal facilities in the American south. African Americans

White Americans wanted to still keep the power they had in society during slavery. Lynching

The Importance Of High School Athletes In Sports
Bobby Unser once said Success is where preparation and opportunity meet. . This quote is
relevant to this subject, because if the athlete works hard at preparing himself to excel at his
grades he should be granted the opportunity to play sports. High school athletes should be required
to acquire a certain GPA in order to participate in sports for a multitude of reasons, including: First,
having higher grades would teach the players to work hard in order to participate in activities they
enjoy. Second, after the student graduates from high school, colleges are going to look at their GPA
in order for the athletes to qualify for a scholarship whether for athletics or academics (Blake).
Lastly, playing sports is a privilege, not a priority (Reeves). The players having to maintain a
certain GPA would teach them hard work. It would teach them hard work by showing the players
they won t receive everything just handed to them. It would also show the athletes that they need to
work hard in order to be able to do the extracurricular activities they enjoy doing. The athletes
learning hard work would help them in collegebecause they need to know how to work hard on
their education in college. Lastly, learning hard work from obtaining a high GPA is that if the
player proves he can work hard academically it will also prove that he can work hard as an athlete
(Wells) After high school if the athlete wants to attend college they will need to have a certain

Road Not Taken
A reader must consider the words of Robert Frost in The Road Not Taken as carefully as the
individual must consider every choice that finds them as the paths of life intersect (Kirszner
Mandell, 2012, p.624). An individual can get analysis paralysis when they think about each and
every choice too much. People can analyze something to death (Lewis, 2014, p. 517).The
individual applies Newton s third law of motion, to every action there is always opposed and
equal reaction and this consideration can render them into a state of confusion and indecisiveness
as they consider the next step (Sharma, 2016, p. 23). Everything we do is a choice and every
action has a reaction, therefore as individuals with free will, we are aware that we are the
navigator on our individual path, and not making a choice has consequences just as surely as
making an active choice.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Analysis Of Aesthetic In In The Mood For Love
One of the most important components in the movie is aesthetic. The reason is aesthetic that can
create atmosphere and mood. Especially, one of the most famous Hong Kong director Wong Kar

components can bring audiences into the movie. In this essay, I will argue that the subject of

The Impact Of Fast Fashion On Business Environment
Introduction
The continually increasing globalization in the world has linked many countries together and the
borders have become inconspicuous. Many firms cooperate in a global market, which leads to an
increased amount of transnational corporations acting in a global surrounding (Douglas Wind,
1987). In the fashion industry, the business environment is especially competitive and firms have
to adjust their business practices rapidly such as products and launching time of each collection on
the basis of the demand of current market (Lowson, King Hunter, 1999). Companies in the fashion
industry like ZARA, Topshop and H M have emerged a new trend fast fashion that combines two
main characteristics: short lead times and trendy design products (Passariello,2008 ; Rohwedder
Johnson, 2008). However, fast fashion leaves behind some issues, which are not beneficial to
environmental protection and human costs. In fast fashion industries, it requires companies to
complete missions in a short time, some fast fashion companies use unethical acts in order to
complete producing on time which may result in environmental issue and appears unfair labour
practices. In addition, Luz (2007) pointed out that globalization provided fast fashion industries a
chance to produce clothes at lower prices so that they can sell clothes with a cheaper price. This
result in many customers considers fast fashion clothes to be disposable. Therefore, this essay will

The Modernist Movement And The International Style Movement
Throughout the Villa Dall ava, 1991, Rem Koolhaas ideologies have been deconstructed,
reconstructed and reproduced such as it complies with Le Corbusier s five ideas of modernism,
where it employs the use of pilotes , roof terrace, the open floor plan, the free façade and the
horizontal window to his design. These major elements are key to the modernist movement and the
international style movement. Rem Koolhaas has made conflict with these key ideas such as the
slanted columns as Le Corbusiers idea was to use simple forms discussed by the early modernist. In
a sense it holds these elements of deconstruction such an alien form within it design.
Le Corbusier s Villa Savoye, 1929, has very similar links to the Villa Dall ava as Rem Koolhaas
and his client wanted the Villa Dall ava to be a modern version of the Villa Savoye. These links
are obvious as they are the five points of architecture which Le Corbusier had set as his
architectural principles. They consist of pilotis, free designing of the ground plan, free design of
the façade, the horizontal windows and a roof garden. One main connection that sticks out is the
pilotis as Le Courbusier had used it as geometric lines around the Villa Savoye, Rem Koolhaas had
used pilotis with his own alien twist on them swaying them off center, putting them where ever
need be.
Koolhaas s own architecture, it need hardly be said, does nothing of the kind. And yet Koolhaas s
modernism, brilliantly inventive, nonetheless does not

A Brief Look at Pop Culture
What is pop culture? Wikipedia defines it as, the entirety of ideas, perspectives, attitudes, memes,
images, and other phenomena that are within the mainstream of a given culture , at a given time.
Like all things, the pop culture of a civilization grows and changes with the passage of time and
important events. However, past events often can influence pop culture of the future, as it
determines what a society may deem an important upcoming event to adapt to. Thusly, it is
possible to see links in a community from two different time periods that may seem opposites from
first glance. This is how a meaningful time period, like the 1970s, influenced parts of society like
music, cinema, and education, in society today.
While the era of disco was not a lengthy one, it managed to define an entire decade, creating an
image that is ever present in the mind of today s youth when imagining the 1970s. Disco started as
a small congregation of the minorities of society: African Americans, gays, psychedelics, and others
in clubs in areas like New York City and Philadelphia. It was originally the music of counterculture,
or an undercurrent of differing ideals than those of mainstream society. However, this music style
was adopted by other groups, and by the late 1970s, was the foundation of most popular music of
the time. It didn t remain that way for long, though; on July 12, 1979, a massive anti disco rally

Renaissance , a French word which means rebirth in English, is the period in European civilization
immediately appears after the Middle Ages and reaches up to the 17th century. It is regarded as the
beggining of cultural movement in Italy which was continued by radical changes in lots of
branches such as literature, art, science etc. and later spreaded to the rest of Europe. There is a
common arguement which emphasizes that the origins of the ideas characterizing the Renaissance
was particular in Dante Alighieri s and Petrachs s writings as well as in the paintings of Giotto di

Humanism. It was a human based philosophy which emphasized human potential that all people
should endeavour to be educated and learned in the classical arts, literature, and science. This
modernization made an unusual culture to be born. My Thesis Statement is based on the process of

communications and mission execution. To understand command relationships one must first
understand the organizational structure of the Armed ForcesLeadership and key terms that
communicate authority and the relationships derived from the structured authority. In a post
Katrina analysis a breakdown of command relationships revealed the need for centralized decision
making authority, and an understanding of the militaryrole in domestic emergencies. In hind sight it

In an analysis of the situation in the aftermath of Katrina, there is a clear delineation of authority,
with the National Guard of individual states remaining under state executive control of the
Governor when not federalized (Tkacz, 2006). Understanding the progression of the levels of
command is paramount to understanding command interactions and how command elements are
unified under one Senior Military Officer forming specific operational command relationships.
Command Relationships
Command relationships preserve the preeminence of civil authorities in their domains of obligation
while enabling the full utilization of military forces as permitted by the United States Constitution,
Congressional law, and Presidential directives (Joint Chiefs of Staff, 2013). All United States
military forces within respective branches operate under a single commander establishing a
successive authority structure. Army command relationships define superior and subordinate
relationships between unit commanders. By stipulating a chain of command, command
relationships amalgamates effort and enable commanders to use subordinate forces with extreme
flexibility. Army command relationships classify the level of control exerted on subordinate
organizations (U.S. Department of the Army, 2014).
The type of command relationship is designated by the estimated duration of

Banning A Book Essay
Book Banning and book challenges has been around just as long as books were invented.
Book banning is a way to take away parents rights to decide whether they want their teen to read
that
book or not. A book challenge however is an attempt to restrict or remove a book from other
citizens,
especially teens. A way bookchallenge works, is when a certain district or person doesn t feel like
the book is appropriate for a certain age group. For reasons like; sexual content, violence, offensive
language and religion. Although people may believe that book banning and challenging books
is for the best, other people may have a different opinion towards that. Challenging a book or
banning it because of a certain individual s opinion

Theories Of Human Nature By Karl Marx And Thomas Hobbes Essay
In both theories of human nature by Karl Marx and Thomas Hobbes respectfully, each provide their
own perspective on the fundamental point of human nature. Marx makes the argument that that
humans are inherently cooperative and the capitalist system creates a state of nature where humans
are competitive. In opposition to Marx argument, Hobbes may say that humans are inherently
competitive and the social contract is what makes humans cooperate within the capitalist system. In
response, Marx might say that the social contract is redundant because the social contract has no
effect on the competition that resembles the state of nature within the capitalist system.
The philosophy of Karl Marx begins with the belief that humans are inherently cooperative with
common characteristics and shared ends. To human beings, life is considered an object and
therefore, humans make their life activity itself the object of his will and of his consciousness
(Tucker 76). In other words, humans are able to think, imagine, and produce even when he is free
from physical need and only truly produces in freedom therefrom (p. 76). It exemplifies that idea
that humans not only have the capability to create things for survival but express themselves in
what they produce, within the standards of the human race or universally. When capitalist wage
labor enters the picture, it forces these shared ends and the freedom of expression in human
production to cease, causing a rise of competitiveness among

First Heart Transplants
1 FIRST HEART TRANSPLANT PAPER God planted in every single human the desire to live,
and knowing that, men have searched for so many ways to live a longer life. Knowing so many
humans were dying because of their heart not functioning well and looking at others die with a
perfectly healthy heart gave humans a great idea! The idea of saving people s life through a heart
transplant, something never on earth heard of but worth giving a try. The research of a finding a
way to give a heart transplant to many people with heart diseases had begun. From the late 1700s
until the early 1900s, many different scientist began gathering all types of information. Surgeons
back then would transplant organs in the lab research, and many of those transplants... Show more

It was in December that Lewis Washkansky was given more life by a group of surgeons. The
face of Washkansky showed how proud he was after the surgery. I m pretty sure that smile gave
surgeons a motivation to continue to bless more people with their life giving techniques. 2
FIRST HEART TRANSPLANT PAPER Unfortunately, like any other subject there had to be
more improvements in the transplant surgery. After the surgery, Lewis was prescribed
medications to restrain his immune system and keep his body from rejecting the heart. Sadly
after eighteen days of the surgery Lewis Washkansky passed away. Doctors say his heart
functioned really well until the day he died. Lewis Washkansky gave surgeons the motivation to
keep working on heart transplants because they were successful! Nowadays, doctors, scientist,
all of us are searching for a way to live a longer or fulfilled life. We have heart transplants
successfully functioning thanks to many scientist who worked hard to look over every small
detail to come up with a perfect heart transplant. To this day humans keep searching for ways to
make other s lives easier. All because God gave us the desire of wanting to live for

Mobile Communication Is Multi Hop Ad Hoc Systems
INTRODUCTION: The Latest advances in Wireless Communications have extended conceivable
applications from straightforward voice services in early cell systems to new incorporated
information applications. These days, numerous up to date cellular telephones are likewise
incorporated with functionalities including FM radio, advanced camera, and MP3 player. Hence,
the services upheld by mobile communications have extended from basic voice to sight and sound,
for example, video conferencing and portable gaming. These new services require a higher service
quality and also more prominent information rate. Moreover, with mobile access to the Internet, the
expanding development in information movement will further drive the requirement for higher data
transmission. Current foundations that bolster mostly voice activity are confronting an incredible
test in meeting both the transmission capacity and quality of service requests of future mobile
communication clients. For mobile communication, one concept with successful improvement is
customary single hop cell frameworks where a mobile station (MS) speaks specifically with a base
station (BS) [1]. Another idea of mobile communication is multi hop ad hoc systems, which are
infrastructure less, self sorting out and quickly deployable with no site arranging, dissimilar to
traditional cell systems. At the point when associations need to move between heterogeneous
systems for performance and high accessibility reasons, consistent

An Introduction To A Vapor Cloud Explosion
An Analysis of a Vapor Cloud Explosion
Introduction
Flammable gasses can be very dangerous mostly when it comes to highly volatile products. This is
because they can evaporate at very low temperatures, may be room temperature and due to their
low energy of activation to react. Highly volatile products are that dangerous because they cannot
be seen, can evaporate any single moment regardless of the size of leakage, they spread very fast
among many other risks. This was the case at one of the manufacturing plants in Massachusetts,
Arnel chemical plant. The plant was responsible for manufacturing printer paints On November 21,
2006, a night at about 2.45 AM a massive explosion occurred at the plant. After thorough research

During the long unmonitored nights, the worst happened, one of the unsecured storage tanks
leaked its components. They flowed on the ground, and due to the volatility it evaporated and filled
the whole building structure. From an unknown source, ignition happened, therefore, causing one
of the worst accidents ever recorded in the American history. The blast. It was too strong that any
after emergency measures could not have mattered.
Violated standards and how the incident could have been prevented The government has a set of
standards that must be ensured for a company or an organization to be allowed to run. Just as an
unroadworthy car is not authorized to be on the road for the risk that it exposes to people, then the
same applies to manufacturing plants Automatic response programs in this plant were very poorly
ensured. If the people who were setting the plant cared about the magnitude of the risk they were
dealing with they were dealing with; they would have elected automatic shutdown apparatus on the
mixing tanks. From the record, the plant did not have any automatic pressure mixing shutdown
procedure nor temperature monitors that could be used to prevent situations from being worse.
There was also very minimal and poor observation of the plant. It was reported that there were no
any workers at the plant at the time the accident was

Social Media And Content Plan For Euclides
Social Media Content Plan for Euclides
Since successful social media and content plans are intertwined, this brief plan highlights the main
recommendations for both areas and offers tactical objectives for content creation and social media.
Current Status:
Euclides has a solid presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as an active blog on their
website. They post quality information, on a consistent basis, and have a respectable following.
Engagement is consistent with what many SMB B2B companies see using social media. Euclides
also has a YouTube channel and incorporates video in a strategic fashion. Although Euclides has a
strong SM foundation, there are a few keys areas where we recommend implementing additional ...

d.Superior service. We recommend continuing to use case studies as an excellent vehicle to educate
your followers on the quality of your services.
e.Build relationships. One of the important aspects of Social Media is building relationships with
followers, important groups and influencers. We recommend creating a list of target press, analysts,
customer groups, industry groups, partners and other influencers. One of the key goals is to start
conversations and create/nurture interest in your skills and services. This is a key area where we
recommend some additional strategies. While social media can generate some B2B leads, its
strongest potential lies in helping to nurture leads and move them down the funnel.
Content Recommendations:
Euclides has a solid foundation of original and curated content that covers the technical, service
and business advantages Euclides offers. There is a good mix of blog posts, white papers, e books
and thought leadership content. Euclides is already doing a great job using catchy titles and tips
content. We see a couple of areas for improvement.
1.Adding case study metrics. While Euclides has some great case studies, we recommend trying to
tease out additional information, when possible, about tangible benefits. For example, Company A
estimates that it reduced customer wait times by 20%... , Customer

Summary of The Lesson Essay
Summary of The Lesson
In this story the author tells us about a girl named Sylvia, the narrator, who lives in a very low
income family. A place where school is not a priority. A place where it is more important to be
strong and hard, than to read a book. This was the thought anyway, before Miss. Moore moved in.
She was a school teacher who took it upon herself to teach the neighborhood kids. On one summer
afternoon in particular she was going to take the kids into town on a field trip. The kids are not
at all happy about this because they know it is summer break and they are not supposed to be in
school in the summer. They would rather be at the pool playin , but Miss. Moore knows that if
these kids want a chance at a better life, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Before going into the store, Miss. Moore tells the kids that they should first just look in the
window before going in. Sugar, one of the kids, asks if they can steal as if it were really an
option. Peering thru the window the kids began to see the cultural difference in where they were
from and the kids who must shop here. There was no way they could ever afford any of this
stuff, and they knew they did not belong. Miss. Moore was explaining what things were, how
they worked, and how much they are in comparison to things like allowances. Some of the things
the kids see, they see useless and it has to be explained why anyone would need such a thing,
such as the paperweight. Then the kids saw it, the sail boat that the kids saw in the window that
was way too expensive for any of them to ever own, one kid even recollected getting spanked for
sinking a boat that cost one dollar and this sail boat cost one thousand one hundred ninety five
dollars. The kids were truly amazed by this. Sylvia was so confused that she thought that a real
yacht would cost about one thousand dollars. Miss. Moore decided it was then time for the kids
to go into the store. These strong willed kids who at the beginning of the story thought they were
so sly, suddenly felt awkward and afraid to go into the store. They felt that they did not belong. The
kids walked gently, hardly touching anything. Sylvia was upset that Miss. Moore

Schifferstadt Historical Site
It is simple to overlook a historical site or museum when it is in your local area and pass it on
the daily. Schifferstadt Architectural Museum is the historical site I continually disregarded until
I had a class trip there, it is less than a half mile away from school and I always pass it driving
home, it is bizarre that I have never visited there before the trip. Schifferstadt is located directly off
of route 15 North on Rosemont avenue, it is a colonial German stone house that was built in 1758
by the Brunner family. The historical site is currently owned by the Frederick CountyLandmarks
Foundation, and has been since 1974. The site is different than some typical lager museums, there
are no self led tours, only docents tour individuals and groups throughout the house. The staff was
extremely helpful, insightful, and friendly and the tour was well put together and tremendously
informational. There are a few flaws that I detected throughout the visit, however, it... Show more

kind. Even though the actual Brunner house is not very large and does not house many artifacts
there is so much information to learn. Some of the programs and special events that Shifferstadt
offers are 3rd and 4th grader lesson plans, gests speakers, Oktoberfest, museums by candlelight, and
many more. All of these events help raise awareness of Shifferstadt, and also the preservation of
historical sites in Frederick. Small house museums normally do not have much advertisement in the

There are three different styles of parenting and the level of attachment in relation to the parenting
style. In the course book, it defines attachment as the establishment of a close emotional
relationship between parent and child (Zimbardo, Johnson, and McCann, 2014, p.274). The
parenting style my parents used was the authoritative style. My parents were warm and sensitive to
my needs and interests. Growing up they made reasonable demands, explained the rules and when
needed enforced those rules. Yes, my parents have high expectations for me; however, it is because
they want the best for me. My parents and I have a close relationship and this is reflected in their

Themes Of Love By Pablo Neruda Exploring Neruda s Themes of Love, Patriotism, and Nature through Specific Stylistic Devices Pablo Neruda was the pen name of Ricardo Eliezer Neftali Reyes y Basoalto, a poet who not only inspired lovers around the world but also gave voices to workers and miners and monumentalized the beauty of the Americas and his culture. Through his use of imagery, especially nature imagery, and symbolism, Pablo Neruda intertwines universal themes like love and patriotism with raw emotion and uses his subjectivity to create poems in a unique style. • 3. The Presidential Selection Of 1860 The presidential selection of 1860 set the stage for the American Civil war. By 1860, the nation had been at odds mostly up to that point regarding questions of states rights and slavery in the territories. Southerners were livid over the preparation by an abolitionist, John Brown, to establish a slave uprising at Harper Ferry, Virginia. This event garnered headlines all over the nation in newspapers and magazines. On the other hand, the Northern Republic seemed equally infuriated by the Supreme Court verdict in the case of Dred Scott v. Stanford, which affirmed free soil unconstitutional. The Northern Democrats, however, struggled to convince the Americans that their guidelines of popular sovereignty still made sense. Enter the presidential election of 1860, which brought these tribulations to a clash with dramatic cost. The Democratic Party divided into three groups along their provincial lines, with each person vying for control of the party and each holding dissimilar ideas about how to deal with servitude in the West. Their candidates consisted of John C. Breckinride, John Bell, and Stephen A. Douglas; their efforts would be rubbish, however, as Abraham Lincoln would be triumphant for the Republican Party. Lincoln stood on the grounds that the West should be completely liberated of slavery entirely; which apparently was sufficient as he won the election with less than forty percent of the popular vote. Ibsen first expressed Hedda s emotional sterility by showing how she is unable to reciprocate in a relationship. Hedda s lack of freedom to act independently in the society that caused her to believe that she would find an answer in manipulation causes her to come face to face with reality. She is forced to realize that her efforts are futile and her manipulation is only hurting herself. Like a young child, she can only receive without knowing how to give in return. This highly intense interest with the lives of others is another aspect of her emotionally empty life. While at the same time of investigating and analyzing other people s lives is one way for Hedda to gain some understanding of her own unsatisfied self, she ultimately reveals that she herself is very frail, fragile, and self centered. It is this indeed that puts Hedda on her path to a tragic destruction, a path that is being taken rather quickly. The development of the fisheries and the tourist trade, writes Connie Chiang in Shaping the Shoreline: Fisheries and Tourism on the Monterey Coast, illuminates the deeply entangled social and environmental histories that together transformed Monterey through time. Thus the central contribution of Chiang s book is illuminating the intersection of social and environmental history from the perspective of an environmental history. The environmental story deals with the fisheries, canneries, and eventual aquarium celebrating the environment and Monterey s past. Central to the social story are the conflicts and interactions between people of different gender, class, race, and ethnicity. While Chiang beautifully intersects the two historical subfields, attention to the intersection of social categories was lacking. Throughout the book, there were brief moments of intersectional analysis that greatly contributed to the text. However, these were few and far between. I demonstrate that had Chiang used the rich intersectional understanding of society on the Monterey more often, the book would have been greatly strengthened. Moments where Chiang does acknowledge the intersecting identities of Monterey inhabitants and visitors help to strengthen her book. The moment where this first appears is in her discussion of Chinese immigrants to Monterey. However, past events often can influence pop culture of the future, as it determines what a society may deem an important upcoming event to adapt to. This is how a meaningful time period, like the 1970s, influenced parts of society like music, cinema, and education, in society today. While the era of disco was not a lengthy one, it managed to define an entire decade, creating an image that is ever present in the mind of today s youth when imagining the 1970s. Theories Of Human Nature By Karl Marx And Thomas Hobbes Essay In both theories of human nature by Karl Marx and Thomas Hobbes respectfully, each provide their own perspective on the fundamental point of human nature. Marx makes the argument that that humans are inherently cooperative and the capitalist system creates a state of nature where humans are competitive. In opposition to Marx argument, Hobbes may say that humans are inherently competitive and the social contract is what makes humans cooperate within the capitalist system. In response, Marx might say that the social contract is redundant because the social contract has no effect on the competition that resembles the state of nature within the capitalist system. The philosophy of Karl Marx begins with the belief that humans are inherently cooperative with common characteristics and shared ends. To human beings, life is considered an object and therefore, humans make their life activity itself the object of his will and of his consciousness (Tucker 76). In other words, humans are able to think, imagine, and produce even when he is free from physical need and only truly produces in freedom therefrom (p. 76). It exemplifies that idea that humans not only have the capability to create things for survival but express themselves in what they produce, within the standards of the human race or universally. They flowed on the ground, and due to the volatility it evaporated and filled the whole building structure. From an unknown source, ignition happened, therefore, causing one of the worst accidents ever recorded in the American history. The blast. It was too strong that any after emergency measures could not have mattered. Violated standards and how the incident could have been prevented The government has a set of standards that must be ensured for a company or an organization to be allowed to run. Just as an unroadworthy car is not authorized to be on the road for the risk that it exposes to people, then the same applies to manufacturing plants Automatic response programs in this plant were very poorly ensured. If the people who were setting the plant cared about the magnitude of the risk they were dealing with they were dealing with; they would have elected automatic shutdown apparatus on the mixing tanks. From the record, the plant did not have any automatic pressure mixing shutdown procedure nor temperature monitors that could be used to prevent situations from being worse. There was also very minimal and poor observation of the plant. It was reported that there were no any workers at the plant at the time the accident was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 52. Summary of The Lesson Essay Summary of The Lesson In this story the author tells us about a girl named Sylvia, the narrator, who lives in a very low income family. A place where school is not a priority. A place where it is more important to be strong and hard, than to read a book. This was the thought anyway, before Miss. Moore moved in. She was a school teacher who took it upon herself to teach the neighborhood kids. On one summer afternoon in particular she was going to take the kids into town on a field trip. The kids are not at all happy about this because they know it is summer break and they are not supposed to be in school in the summer. They would rather be at the pool playin , but Miss. Moore knows that if these kids want a chance at a better life, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Before going into the store, Miss. Moore tells the kids that they should first just look in the window before going in. Sugar, one of the kids, asks if they can steal as if it were really an option. Peering thru the window the kids began to see the cultural difference in where they were from and the kids who must shop here. There was no way they could ever afford any of this stuff, and they knew they did not belong. Miss. Moore was explaining what things were, how they worked, and how much they are in comparison to things like allowances. Some of the things the kids see, they see useless and it has to be explained why anyone would need such a thing, such as the paperweight. Then the kids saw it, the sail boat that the kids saw in the window that was way too expensive for any of them to ever own, one kid even recollected getting spanked for sinking a boat that cost one dollar and this sail boat cost one thousand one hundred ninety five dollars. The kids were truly amazed by this. Sylvia was so confused that she thought that a real yacht would cost about one thousand dollars. Miss. Moore decided it was then time for the kids to go into the store. These strong willed kids who at the beginning of the story thought they were so sly, suddenly felt awkward and afraid to go into the store. They felt that they did not belong. The kids walked gently, hardly touching anything. Sylvia was upset that Miss. Moore ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 53. Schifferstadt Historical Site It is simple to overlook a historical site or museum when it is in your local area and pass it on the daily. Schifferstadt Architectural Museum is the historical site I continually disregarded until I had a class trip there, it is less than a half mile away from school and I always pass it driving home, it is bizarre that I have never visited there before the trip. Schifferstadt is located directly off of route 15 North on Rosemont avenue, it is a colonial German stone house that was built in 1758 by the Brunner family. The historical site is currently owned by the Frederick CountyLandmarks Foundation, and has been since 1974. The site is different than some typical lager museums, there are no self led tours, only docents tour individuals and groups throughout the house. The staff was extremely helpful, insightful, and friendly and the tour was well put together and tremendously informational. There are a few flaws that I detected throughout the visit, however, it... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Our docent was extremely information and always had an answer to ever question someone asked. Docents with the ability to absorbed knowledge from guests and from the actual historical site are the most helpful for tours. I felt as if the docents were very well trained and extremely kind. Even though the actual Brunner house is not very large and does not house many artifacts there is so much information to learn. Some of the programs and special events that Shifferstadt offers are 3rd and 4th grader lesson plans, gests speakers, Oktoberfest, museums by candlelight, and many more. All of these events help raise awareness of Shifferstadt, and also the preservation of historical sites in Frederick. Small house museums normally do not have much advertisement in the local area, and even state wide, this can conclude the small amount of visitors at ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the course book, it defines attachment as the establishment of a close emotional relationship between parent and child (Zimbardo, Johnson, and McCann, 2014, p.274). The parenting style my parents used was the authoritative style. My parents were warm and sensitive to my needs and interests. Growing up they made reasonable demands, explained the rules and when needed enforced those rules. Yes, my parents have high expectations for me; however, it is because they want the best for me. My parents and I have a close relationship and this is reflected in their parentingstyle. In the course book, it mentions that researchers have found ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
