The involvement of women is very important in the two stories, Julius Caesar by William
Shakespeare and Antigone by Sophocles. Throughout each story it becomes clear that the ideas and
biases surrounding women play an important part in how society views women, and how women
see themselves. Readers also see these ideas spread into the minds of women affecting what they do
in their life, and how they act. Antigone and Ismene, from Antigone, and Calpurnia and Portia, from
Julius Caesar are both examples of this major theme. These four women heavily influence their play
and the outcome. Because of this it is clear to see the importance and relevance of women in
Antigone and Julius Caesar.
In both Antigone and Julius Caesar the societal views that women are weak, submissive and
inferior play a major role in each story and their conclusions. In Antigone, King Creon is shocked
when he discovers that it is Antigone that disobeys him. The betrayer was right under his nose, but

night the world is telling you that everything will be ok, just breathe. Then you realize what is right
in front of you.
I have gone to camp for nine years now and this past year on July 1st, 2015 the campfire changed
my life.
This year at camp instead of being a camper my best friend Julia and I decided that we were going
to help cook for camp. This gave us the opportunity to go to camp, and make a little bit of money
to save up for college.
It was dark by time we got out of the kitchen and we went and got our coats and headed down to

interviews with leaders of Religious units and online resources to compare the strategic
performance of faith based providers through the use of administrative data.

The Seamstress dramatically changed how I viewed the Holocaust because it not only showed
me how intolerable the conditions were, but also how poorly the Jews were treated. Before
reading The Seamstress I did not fully grasp the concept of the Holocaust or the fact that the
Jews were scared for their lives. My knowledge of the tragic event was very vague, and I didn t
understand it was so horrific. Not only were the survivors extremely brave, but they also suffered
unbearable scenarios which I, myself, do not believe I could withstand. Initially, the book showed
me that the Jewswere despised, preyed upon, and often felt very unsafe just walkingin the street. It s
very sad that people felt unsafe around their homes, and where they grew up. It s also sad that
