Abstract Pressure ulcer prevention is a major task of direct care personnel in
hospitals around the world. Even with evidenced based polices currently in place
at many facilities, patients still continue to develop pressure ulcers. Patients with
pressure ulcers require the care of a multi disciplinary team, ranging from nursing
assistants to nutritionists to wound care physicians. Pressure ulcers are expensive
to treat, can lead to infections and other illnesses, and sometimes cost patients their
lives. A literature search was conducted of five articles related to pressure ulcer
prevention in order to find a solution to implement on a medical surgical unit at a
local hospital. The proposed change was selected using Lewin s Change Theory.
The proposed solution was to train nursing assistants in assisting registered nurses
(RNs) with monitoring patients skin and providing care to prevent the
development of pressure ulcers. The pros and cons of this solution, required
resources, costs of implementation, education required, and evaluation of the

Becoming A Knight Was A Long And Difficult Process
Becoming a knight was a long and difficult process. a person to become a knight
would start training as a child somewhere near 7 years of age. Knights in training
had to learn things like sword techniques, protection and bravery. The first rules
taught in early childhood where things such as rules and basic education which
were usually taught at home. Then from 7 to 14 they would be given the role of
Medieval page, this page was the duty of waiting at a table, care for the kings
clothes and help them when dressing. The page also meant they would act like
servants of the castle and being given or recognised as receiving the page meant
getting a uniform which would vary in coulor and pattern due to age. A medieval
squire was like a servant to a knight. The role of being a squire was the next step to
becoming a true knight and was very important. The purpose/duties of becoming a
squire were to learn from the knights, for example they learned things such as
Chivalry, the rules of Heraldry, horsemanship and proper use of weapons and skills
of a knight. They also had to become involved in other castle trainings such as
jousting and music. Finally after a long period of time through the teaching and
practices of becoming a Knight, there training would be complete and celebrated at a
ceremony. The ceremony consisted of the now coming knight being dubbed with
these words Arise, sir Knight This marked their final step to KnightHood.

Though there are several factors that I considered when deciding where to do my
fieldwork paper, I chose Beth Israel Synagogue located in Lexington Park,
Maryland primarily for accessibility. St. Mary s County is a rural area with a
predominately Christian population. As I begin to search for a congregation with
beliefs which differed from my Catholic beliefs, I did not have many options in the
immediate area. The nearest Buddhist, Hindu, or Sikh congregations are located in
Washington, D.C. and Baltimore; both areas are at least an hour and half drive from
my house. Within the Southern Maryland area, there are a few synagogues and
Islamic temples. Location limited my choices to the Jewish and Islamic faiths as
choices. Though I would have loved to visit the Islamic temple as well, I chose Beth
IsraelSynagogue because it was located closer to my house than the Islamic temple in
Calvert County.

Paradise and The House of Mirth, the authors paint the protagonists as imprisoned.

Literary Analysis In the book, The Way for the Gas, Ladies and Gentlemen, hunger
and the effects of hunger on the human body are a prevalent theme. There are many
examples throughout the book displaying the effects of hunger on humans mentally
and physically. There are also many examples of various ways humans can be
controlled with starvationtechniques. These effects should never be endured by a
human they are beyond terrible and no man should have the power to do this.
The mental effects of starvation become obvious from the onset of the book. We sit
down in the narrow streaks of shade along the stacked rails. The hungry Greeks

This allows women to face discrimination in all walks of life, and which allows
men the authority to exercise their power without any fear of being held
accountable for their actions. The Sharia or Islamic law defines the roles of
women which are that women are not equal to men when it comes to inheritance,

Health Science Exploration Interview
For my Health Science Exploration interview, I interviewed my mother, she is a
Surgery Schedule. She went to Bryant and Stratton College for Applied Science in
Medical Assisting. During this time she got her Associate s degree which took 2
years to complete with medical experience. Which means she worked in Doctors
Offices, Patient First, and Hospitals to get her current job. Some of the classes she
took were Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Medical Ethics.
She told me that her favorite class was Anatomy and Physiology because she liked
learning how the body works, why it works, and what each part of the body does.
At the end of the whole program she took her final exams to be able to graduate.
