This document provides feedback on a student's pre-production work for a music video project. 1. Avicii/ Jonas Blue/Galantis – good, detailed analysis of video with imagery
and technical elements discussed linking to Goodwin and narrative theory.
At times detail is too descriptive and not analytical.
2. Good detail on EDM music using PowerPoint, showing concise research.
Early influence added with good detail and examples. Some nice links to
culture, with good use of images. Secondary research sources clearly
shown.
Post has been added on album cover of same genre, which again shows
good understanding of task and conventions. Great post with loads of
covers. Advert also annotated linking images/font/colour to albums

2. Overall this is a very good body of work, well done. Good use of technologies
throughout. At this stage you are only missing equipment post, and you need
to add more detail where requested.
You could add additional content such as a risk assessment.

Student action plan for improvement
I have updated my blog, the equipment list is now on there and I have analysed
the peer feedback.
 Great detail on equipment list with comments on how each piece of
hardware/software will be used
 Reflective comments added to peer feedback showing how some ideas
could be incorporated
