Role playing and simulations are teaching methods that involve pretending to be someone else in a simulated situation. There are three phases to role playing: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning phase involves selecting a problem and setting up the role play scene. During implementation, students take on roles and act out the scenario. In the evaluation phase, the role play is analyzed. Simulations use technology like sound and motion to make situations feel real. Role playing has advantages like allowing students to learn through play and develop skills like critical thinking, cooperation, and communication. However, it requires expert guidance, time, and costs more than traditional teaching methods.

12. ROLE OF TEACHER
The teacher defines the general
structure of the role play, but generally
does not actively participate once the
structure is set.
To quote Jones , "...the teacher
becomes the Controller, and controls
the event in the same way as a traffic
controller, helping the flow of traffic
and avoiding , telling individuals
which way to go.

13. ADVANTAGES
1-Children have always learnt from duplicating
the action of others, including their Parents and
peers.
2-People enjoy playing ,especially young
people. If students are already motivated to
Play learning through play would become even
easier.
3-Role playing encourages the use of critical
thinking because it involves analyzing and
problem solving therefore role play is cognitive
learning method.

14. 4-Role playing teaches many lessons
,some of the most important lesson it
teaches are lessons that are needed in
society competition, cooperation and
empathy.
5-Role play allows for the interaction
between classmates and peers.
6-Developps sensitivity towards others
feelings.
7-Develops communication skills.
8-Confidence building.
