Examples Of Perception Vs Reality In A Midsummer Night s...
Perception v.s Reality
In A Midsummer Night s Dream, perception versus reality becomes a major aspect of the play because
the contrast of the woods versus the city and love versus infatuation. In the woods there is much
deception from the characters and fairies to make the lovers perceive love for each other which is
actually just infatuation. The city is full of chaos and people telling each other what they need to do,
but in the city the lovers still had some sort of control over their themselves. Egeus is trying to force
his daughter into loving someone she does not love. Egeus can make his daughter do things she does
not want to but he cannot make her love someone that she does not. In the woods people use magic to
make the lovers think they are in love.

should. Many of the characters attempt to control love but when they try to make the lovers love

being forced into doing something knows what is happening, and they know who is making them do

The National Coal Mining Museum is based at the site of Caphouse Colliery in Overton; once a fully
functioning mine. The museum has an area, 140 meters underground, which has been adapted to
demonstration the development and revolution in mining techniques through out the ages. It presents
mining techniques from the early 19th century all the way through to the present day. The museum
also houses an array of mining machinery and vehicles that has been conserved since its use, which
are kept in a gallery above ground. Such machinery includes locomotives, BJD coal cutters, and a
seventeen tonne Dosco Roadheader that was used to cut roadways underground. (National Coal
Mining Museum, 2014)
Equipment Types
Coal had been in use far long before the 19th century, however, the arrival of the industrial revolution
saw a boom in the demand for coal and as a result coal mining became an enormous and lucrative
industry. Nonetheless, the equipment used in the early 19th century was still exceptionally primitive
and working conditions were also very harsh.

Early Doctors, Surgeons, and Apothecaries Essay
In the 18th century, the medical field was made up of mostly men. There were three jobs in this field:
Physicians, Surgeons, and Apothecaries. Physicians were the most elite of the three. Physicians in the
18th century had no knowledge of anything. Nobody knew that disease was spread by bacteria, germs,
and viruses. Because they didn t know this, nobody practiced sterilization or hygiene, hospital and
personal.
In the 18th century, scientists were strongly influenced by theories. In 350 B.C., Aristotle believed that
everything was made from fire, earth, air and water. There later was a Greek physician named Galen.
He practiced about 500 years after Aristotle. Galen believed that the body had four elements which he
called humors. The four ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The training of each person varied. All of the injured and sick were sent to one place. It was usually
very dirty and unsanitary. In these places there was a camp surgeon. He cared for the camp s diseased
soldiers and tried to watch for unsanitary conditions. It didn t always pay off. The camp surgeon also
tried to balance the four humors. The most common diseases among soldiers were dysentery, fever,
and smallpox. Most of them were caused by unsanitary conditions. Most wounds in the war were
caused by bullets. First the surgeon would try to remove the bullet. If he couldn t, then he would
bandage the wound. If the bone was damaged and a limb couldn t be saved, then the surgeon would
amputate the limb.
The most deadly disease during the 18th century was smallpox. It spread very fast, killing a lot of
people. It started out with flu like symptoms which is a fever, tiredness, back pain, and vomiting.
During this part of smallpox, the person who had it became very contagious. Later, the fever dropped
and a rash formed in the nose and around the mouth. Then the rash turned to bumps that spread to the
rest of the body.
Newspapers became important in the 18th century. Since there were many outbreaks such as
smallpox, yellow fever, and diphtheria, people wanted to know about these diseases. They informed
the people about diseases. They told people how to

Essay About Moving School
The most significant challenge that I ve had to face was moving schools and even states. It was some
of the biggest and quickest changes I ve ever had to deal with and it wasn t easy especially at ages 8
through 11. I learned to adapt to things faster so I wouldn t get the feeling of being left behind. This
experience definitely changed me as a person making me stronger and independent. Moving to new
schools is never simple; moving meant leaving everything behind and having to start over. From
preschool to third grade I had gone to the same elementary, had lots of friends and knew most of the
teachers. The school itself had been around for about 60 years and they decided it was getting old so
they wanted to build a new school in the back. The only problem was not all the students would be

in Idaho. I was beginning my last year of elementary in a new place and then going on to middle

Safety of Employees in the Industry
There are many jobs in the world that are very dangerous, and might cause serious injury to
employees, such as: police, firefighter, construction, install or repair electrical, and more. Therefore,
employees safety is an essential component of any industry. They want secure that their employee
does not get an accident, or injuring while working. Today, many companies are giving safety
handbook for their employee to follow the rules and get understandable about the safety in the
company. However, to improve the safety for the workers, many industries have developed their
machinery, have their employee to train, and make sure that their workers are working in a good
condition environment.
Improving machinery is the one of the most priority that many industries should have done for their
employees. Back in the 1900s, many were people are dying or having serious injuries to them because
the machines were not built with the detection vibration. For example, in the story, Monkey Palm , Mr.
White s son, Herbert, was killed by the machinery because the technology back then was not
proficient compared today s technology. Nevertheless, today, many machines are having a monitor
vibration inside of it, and the employee will be given a warning if there a missing part in the machine.
Also, it is automatically shutting down the machine before it reaches to the dangerous level. However,
with the monitor vibration today, it will help many employees to protect themselves and their health

News Channels Are Becoming Entertainment Today
Have you wondered how much more difficult it has become to tell the difference between
entertainment and news channels on television? After all, the television channel business, worth
Rs18,000 crore in advertisement and subscription fees, is dominated by the entertainment genre. And
print, with Rs14,800 crore in revenue, is still largely about news. This is despite the fact that there are
more news channels than those of any other genre. Earlier this year, in response to a question in
Parliament, the minister for information and broadcasting announced that there are 201 news and

Busy adults should enjoy nature with the abandon that a child would. Like an innocent child, he points

only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and heart of the child (241), he givesthe reader insight
as to how they are alike. Children are not in a rush, and neither is nature. People need to remember
their inner child and stop trying to hurry and accomplish and worry about everything all the time.
They should stop and really pay attention. Emerson makes the point that if people will look at nature
through the eyes of a child once again, and really see it as if they are looking through a transparent
eyeball, then they will get back in touch with their own thoughts and feelings. Children are not caught
up in society s politics, rules, and social problems the way adults are. Instead they are focused on the
joys of nature such as picking flowers and climbing trees. Everyone should try to look at the world in
a more child like way in order to remind themselves of its beauty and what really matters.Nature helps

A Study On New Orleans Essay

For more than two centuries, coffee has been a fundamental part of the culinary and social culture of
New Orleans.
It s not just the city s penchant for chicory café au lait served alongside warm beignets. Nor is it just
landmark gathering spots like Café du Monde and or Morning Call Coffee Stand that spawned the
notion of the laborers coffee break and served locals and tourists for generations.
And it isn t solely boozy Café Brulôt, the brandy spiked coffee drink New Orleans families serve in
slender china cups that makes
New Orleans a true coffee town.
Alongside these the gustatory expressions is the city s historic and longstanding role in the coffee
trade. New Orleans has been a significant coffee port for more than 200 years. Since the early 19th
century, import companies have brought in green coffee beans from around the world through the Port
of New Orleans. Today, it is the second largest coffee port in the country.
Among those importers, Westfeldt Brothers Inc. is one of the oldest of its kind in the United States.
The company was first founded in

George Westfeldt, who had immigrated to the U.S. in 1835. Westfeldt moved to New Orleans in 1853.
By 1880, his company had become one of the country s principal green coffee importers. Since then, it
has been run by six generations of Westfeldts.

Lower Eyelid Surgery
What You Should Know About Lower Eyelid Surgery
1. Blurry Vision
You should expect to experience blurry vision for a short time following your lower eyelid surgery.
The swelling that occurs can cause a temporary distortion of the cornea, which leads to blurry vision;
in addition, ointments used during the surgical procedure or those prescribed for use at night can cause
blurriness.
Another common cause of blurry vision is dryness due to the inability of the eyelids to close because
of swelling. The swelling makes it difficult for your eyelids to distribute the tear film evenly across
your eye, which causes this distortion. Sometimes you may notice additional tearing, but your eyes
remain dry, this should resolve over time.

This happens as the body sends cells to heal the surgical site. You may even experience additional
swelling over the first few days. For most patients, the swelling subsides within two weeks time.
Bruising following your lower eyelid surgery is also common. Some people experience a very light
red discoloration whereas; others have discoloration that covers the entire eyelids. Some patients will
experience bruising on their cheeks and even their lower face and/or neck. This bruising can occur
when small amounts of blood are pulled down by gravity during the blepharoplasty procedure. Bruise
colors change throughout the healing process; within one to two days, the bruise will appear purple or
blue, eventually turning green and then yellow at the final stage of healing.
To reduce swelling, you can apply ice compresses that are made of gauze sponges for 20 minutes
every hour during the initial 48 hours following your surgical procedure.

Poetry In Poe s The Raven By Edgar Allan Poe
Every time we hear the word poetry we immediately think of romance and beauty. However, having
read the poem The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, we have concluded that even dark and gloomy poetry
has its own meaning. While going through its stanzas, the magnificent style and rhythm of Poe s
writing made me feel like I also was in the room with the narrator. The poem itself is an incredible
experience, filled with deep meanings and symbols that if you re not aware of them you can totally
misunderstand the plot. Poetry is an old style of writing which utilizes aesthetic and rhythmic qualities
of language to summon and describe feelings. The distinctive styles vary in how the writers
incorporate the rhythm and the musicality of its stanzas. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Furthermore, Poe emphasizes the o sound in words such as Lenore and nevermore in order to
highlight the lonely melancholy sound of the poem and also to establish the overall atmosphere.
Additionally, the repetition of nevermore gives the poem a circular sense while also bringing forth a
larger meaning to the poem. Like in many other poems from Poe, The Raven refers to an agonized
protagonist with memories of a deceased woman. Lenore, the woman he speaks of in the poem, we
could assume she had a premature death which makes the narrator unable to free himself of the pain of
her memory. He often asks the raven if there is balm in Gilead and therefore spiritual salvation for the
woman. He also asks if she really exists in the afterlife, but the raven confirms his worst suspicions by
rejecting his supplications. Leaving all this behind, one the most interesting things about the poem is
the raven. Referencing what we learned in class, Poe thought of the raven as the bearer of ill news for
a number of reasons. Initially, Poe was looking for an animal that could mimic and produce human
like sounds without actually understanding the meaning of them. He first tried using a parrot, the bird
could easily repeat words that he could have heard before and it really didn t understand them at all.
However, for the dark propose of the poem, such a colorful bird wouldn t fit the profile. Then, he
thought of the raven, this one couldn t

Film Analysis Of Nanook Of The North
Nanook of the North: Directed by Robert Flaherty, Nanook of the North (1922) is one of the most
famous travel films, or scenics, of all time. Flaherty spent years in Canada learning the culture of the
Inuit (eskimo) people there. What makes this story so captivating is that it is presented as more of a
drama than a documentary. Flaherty staged many scenes to portray Nanook as a protagonist, and the
harsh snowy environment as the antagonist. The way the footage was edited together helped make the
film interesting, since many of the sequences by themselves are boring. After being turned down by
many distribution companies, Flaherty eventually was able to get his film in theaters, where it became
a huge success, even so much as to become a staple of pop culture of the time. Over time, the film has
come to represent the eternal struggle between man and nature.
Agitki : At the dawn of the USSR, Vladimir Lenin proclaimed: Of all the arts, for us the cinema is the
most important. Lenin believed this because cinema was the easiest way to spread propaganda at the
time. Much of the people living in the Russian countryside were impoverished and illiterate. By
sending out propaganda films, called agitki, Lenin found the perfect method of educating the rural
masses on the new state of their government. This type of propaganda was meant to agitate and
enthuse audiences. They were typically very short, but also effective in spreading news to the
uneducated rural masses. In addition

Why Do We Grow Up Differently
We all grow up differently. We have different parents, siblings, houses and experiences that shape us
into the people we are today. We interact with different people and we watch those who are around us.
Everyone can impact our life but it is you who chooses who. Everyone is different and I am no

I am one of the few people that get to experience having a twin. We were born in Springfield,
Missouri on October 14th. I was 5 pounds and my sister, Mariah, was 4. We were a month premature
so we had a few health problems. Mariah and I were both born with holes in our hearts. As we grew,
the holes fixed themselves. Unfortunately, this was not the end. Mariah was kept in the ICU for a few
months after we were born. When I was about 6 8 months old, I came down with whooping cough. I
fought through and barely made it. I grew up in Marshfield. My favorite thing to do was read. I would
read instead of watching tv or I would go outside and play with Mariah in the mud. When my brother,
Jordan and my nephews and nieces started to be being born. I became a mother hen. This is where I

The Man After God s Own Heart
David was the last son of Jesse, ancestor to Jesus Christ and the second King of Israel. He was
considered as a Man after God s own heart . From a shepherd boy to a warrior, and from a warrior to a
King, he lived his life the best he could for the Lord. Through the battles he fought, and the wars he
was victorious in, he could ve ended up in pride considering how great and mighty a King he was. In
spite of his successes in battle, he was known to be a man of humility. David wasn t perfect; he sinned
just like everyone else. Though King David had a record of killing and adultery, he displayed a

During the middle of his reign, King David committed adultery with Uriah s wife, Bathsheba. When
David found out about Bathsheba s pregnancy, he sent for the solider Uriah from the battle field with a
command to visit his wife in hopes of covering his tracks. David did this twice. Uriah didn t go the
first time because he was getting the opportunity to do something that his fellow soldiers were not. He
also didn t go after he ate and drank with the King.
Why didn t Uriah return to Bathsheba after the second command? Could it be because he never loved
Bathsheba to begin with? Or because he found out what happened? However, in spite of what Uriah s
reasons were, David saw that he could not instruct this man to obey his order; King or not.

that occurs due to different kind of short circuit fault and the switching of heavy load. Dynamic
Voltage Restorer (DVR) is one of the most common custom power device to compensate the voltage
sags Usually DVR is installed between load feeder and source in the distribution system. In this paper
approach to compensate voltage sag by using dynamic voltage restorer base on the d q 0 algorithm is
discussed. Simulation is done in MATLAB software and results are obtained.

I. INTRODUCTION
Power system make sure good quality of electrical power supply which means voltage and current
wave form should be balance and sinusoidal. Moreover, the voltage level on the system should be
within dependable limit, generally within 100+ 5% of their rated value if the voltage is more or less
than this pre specified value, performance of equipments is sacrificed.[1]. In case of low voltages,

Reaction Rate Of Clock Reactions
Introduction:
Investigations into the mechanics of chemical kinetics can reveal invaluable information relating to
the rates of reaction. There are numerable applications of reaction rates, knowledge in this area is
pivotal for industrial, commercial and research sectors. Thus, allowing them the ability to manipulate
a variety of factors of chemical reactions with the use of reaction rates. In the scope of the kinetics of
clock reactions, there is a range of information that can be obtained about reaction rates (Shakhashiri,
1992).
A clock reaction is characterised by an abrupt colour change following an established time lag (Lente
et al, 2007). The induction period in a clock reaction is a result of low concentrations of the clock
chemical (i.e. the chemical that enables the final reaction). The induction period ends after the total
consumption of a limiting reagent, which initiates a short increase in the rate of product formation,
resulting in a visible colour change (Schmitz, 2010)(Lente et al, 2007). The reaction rate of clock
reactions is subject to factors including temperature, concentration, catalysis and inhibition. These
factors can be manipulated, thus changing the length of the induction period in a clock like manner
(Shakhashiri, 1992).
Changes in the rate of reaction can be described in terms of chemical equilibrium. Chemical
equilibrium is a state in which the forward and reverse reactions take place at the same rate
(Wilbraham et al, 2002). The

Importance Of Learning A Foreign Language Essay
Learning a foreign language involves developing new skills and going through different stages. The
four skills you need to develop are listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You need to be able to
understand when someone speaks the language you are learning. In addition to that, you need to be
able to express yourself in that language. Most of the time, the written language is more complex than
the spoken language. You want to be able to understand a text you read. Moreover, you want to be
able to express your ideas in writing, with the right words and correct grammar. Acquiring these four
skills requires various study patterns.
Building Vocabulary
First of all, you need to build vocabulary. Building vocabulary involves learning the meaning of the
words, their spelling, and pronunciation. Unlike in English, each word has a gender in many languages
like French, Spanish, and German. You need to memorize the gender of a word in order to use it
correctly. You also need to learn the conjugations of verbs and adjectives. That is where you cross the
border between the vocabulary and grammar.
Studying Grammar
In order to learn a foreign language, you need to study its grammar, the structural rules of a language.
Most of the time, grammar is a complicated subject to understand, to learn, and to use correctly. To
make things even more complicated, you will need to memorize the exceptions to the grammar rules
you learn.
Reading
If you have sufficient vocabulary and a good

The Love Of My Life Analysis
In T. Coraghessan Boyle s story The Love of My Life, it centers around the teenage relationship of
Jeremy and China who claim to be in love with one another and nothing else matters to them. Their
relationship; however, is centered around what a relationship is like in movies and based of the
physical attraction to each other as well as being naive to what real love is as this is their first real
relationship with a significant other. The relationship between the two is great until they encounter
their first real obstacle in the relationship when China becomes pregnant. The egocentric nature of
both characters takes over and there begins to be cracks within the relationship. Now they face the
reality of becoming parents and they blame ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
China s negative outlook on teen pregnancy can be concluded to the individuals around her as why she
believes what she does. Parents affect their children s views on many topics concerning various
aspects, and it seems as if China s parents have created a negative outlook on teenage pregnancy.
China says, I will never be like those breeders that bring their puffed up squalling little red faced
babies to class (Boyle 558). Her negative outlook has obviously been skewed as she believes teens
become pregnant based off of their own choice and not the product of chance. She does not seem to
understand that all the right steps can be taken to avoid pregnancy when having sex, but still the
woman can become pregnant. Her take on this subject can be attributed to believing the views of her
privileged community, families who have never been affected by teen pregnancy, and therefore, can
not give an accurate representation of their lives or how teen pregnancy may have helped their life for
the better. The quote shows her naive nature as the education on teen pregnancy does not seem
evident, but instead the words of her parents and those unaffected by teen pregnancy and taken in and
believed. Her view on pregnancy, of course, can be attributed to why she never told her parents or
anyone that she was pregnant. Now she appears as a hypocrite as she is the one who is a

Essay On Code Talkers
The story begins with a Navajo boy, Kii Yazhi, who is told by his family that he must go to the U.S.
Government boarding school. His grandfather wants him to learn more English so that he can be more
like the white man. When he arrives at the school they shave off all of his hair, take away his native
clothing, and give him an American name, Ned Bengay. He is told that he must never speak his
Navajo language again. When he does speak Navajo he gets his mouth washed out with soap for
punishment. He likes learning and does well in the boarding school even though he was treated badly
because he was an Indian. Because he did well in the boarding school, he gets to go to a Native
American high school. While he is in high school World War ... Show more content on

know what is going on. He and the other Code Talkers fight in many fierce battles and he sees a lot of

the other men. Some of his friends say that he should be offended by that name, but Ned knows that
they aren t being mean when they use the nick name. Because of the work done by the Code Talkers
the Americans were able to win the war. After the war, the Code Talkers were still not allowed to tell
anyone what they did in the war. The world would not find out about their important job for more than
20 years after World War Two ended. After the war, Ned went to college and became a teacher. He
enjoyed being able to teach the Navajo children that their culture was important. After the United

The Revolutionary Revolution And The Revolution
As Mao s political enemies were purged, he soon started to build the new type of government and
reconstruct the orders in the nation. First, he believed that only by using a triple alliance of cadres,
revolutionary organizations and the army, which represented the most significant three parts in the
revolution, could China go back to the right track. In order to consolidate this alliance, Maoist leaders
declared that a revolutionary committee was necessary and the only way to reorganize the political
power (Meisner, 331). However, the revolutionary spirits were not under Mao s control anymore. The
proletariat classes, by 1968, were using extremely violent ways to express their devotion to this
revolution. So secondly, Mao strongly depended on PLA, which now became peerless people s army
and personally formed and led by our great leader Chairman Mao... (Meisner, 340). In addition to the
army, leaders like Zhou Enlai made efforts to rebuild the Party and reestablish the authority of the
state bureaucracy (Meisner, 340; Macfarquhar Schoenhals, 287). Yet, the cost of the demobilization
was pretty high mass killings occurred when the Party started to cleanse the class ranks, which were
even much more serious compared with what happened in earlier years. Mao at first considered about
continuing the revolution for a longer time except his Red Guards constantly causing problems. Those
young naive students were no longer listening to Mao as the denunciation and big

The Catacomb Saints
A 1578 discovery of tombs in Rome has many people baffled. The tombs have the skeletons of
Christian Martyrs who were considered saints because of their unwavering bravery and loyalty to their
faith. The skeletons were called the Catacomb Saints. The skeletons also had jewelry wigs, crowns
and armor. They were displayed in many churches in order to remind people that riches await loyal
Christians after they die. Even though this may sound like a strange story and many people would
have a hard time believing it, it is actually true. Paul Koudounaris, who was an art historian, was very
fascinated with the story of the saints. He traveled throughout Europe in order to find the status of
every saint. He also wrote a book about the skeletons entitled

The Lucifer Effect Zimbardo
Lucifer Effect
The Lucifer effect describes the point in time when an ordinary, normal person first crosses the
boundary between good and evil to engage in an evil action and it explains how the good people do
bad or evil thing. Philip Zimbardo used dis positional , situational and systemic to answer the question
How do psychologists understand such transformations of Human Characteristic? (Philip G.
Zimbardo, 2007)
Dis positional is something inside of the individuals. (Philip G. Zimbardo, 2007) In the movie, after
they posted the advertisement on the newspaper, they asked all the volunteers to take a personality
tests and do a interview for each of them. All they did is in order to pick the most normal and the most
healthy volunteers. Participants were randomly designated to either the role of prisoner or guard. So
we all know that whatever guards or prisoners, they are all good people at the begin of the experiment.

the prison and to command the respect of the prisoners. But at the same time the physical violence was

to stop it or try to avoid it for next time. And after that the guards started to become more aggressive

to guard but didn t oversight it or didn t monitor them well in the movie. It caused the guards could do

I m sure everyone here has seen a picture of a mother duck leading her ducklings. Imagine the mother
duck taking her ducklings up some stairs. The mother duck easily climbs the first stair and waits for
the other little ducks to climb up. The first duckling stretches its wings as high up in the air as it can
and stands on the tips of its little webbed feet. With a little help from its beak it manages to barely
make the first step. Sometimes it requires a little help from mama duck to boost itself up. Despite the
cute and rather funny part of this picture, it is possible to learn a lot from the ducks. The two ideas we
can gain from them are leadership and following. In life each one of us is a leader and a follower at
some point. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As the senior class this year, our class decided to bug the junior highers by forming BUG groups.
BUG, standing for Buddies Under God , was designed with the purpose of leading the junior highers
by example. The world and those who don t have a saving knowledge of Christ, look at the Church.
The impression they should see is one that results from following Christ s example. They should see
people who are full of the love of Christ. As leaders everyone should lead by example, but the
example that you use must be based on the Bible. It is foolish to believe that people will want to do
what they are told to do unless the leader is willing to do what he has asked of his followers.
In addition to, and perhaps even more important than, leading by example is leading through serving.
Servant leadership at first thought sounds like an oxymoron. Popular opinion believes that the leader
is supposed to have people who serve him. But if we are to follow Christ s example we must first
serve. Quite possibly the most perfect example of servant leadership is the well known story of Jesus
washing his disciple s feet. The disciples were appalled that Christ would do such a thing for them
because it was a servant s job and Christ was their leader. But because He washed their feet I am
willing to bet that the disciple s respect for Jesus increased greatly. At the first retreat of the year our
class went up a day early for a time of fellowship and

My Bullring walking tour text, creates an authoritative tone through the use of paralinguistics to give a
sense of movement and guidance. Primarily aimed at new visitors. I have structured my piece to leave
the audience with a sense of knowing Selfridges. The primary purpose of my text is to encourage
people to go and visit the Bullring. Evidence of this is; When we come off of the bridge we are
immediately immersed in the hustle and bustle of Selfridges. The sibilance within the syndetic pair
hustle and bustle pat Ray s the idea of people constantly walking past therefore bringing to light the
popularity of the Bullring. This is empathise by the iambic pentameter due to it mimicking natural

Nucleus And Other Organelles Research Paper
Nucleus which is an organelle is found eukaryotic cells. The nucleus is the control point of the cell
which helps control movement, eating, reproduction and also contains genetic material. The nucleus
and the other organelles are surrounded by the nuclear envelope; it is similar to the cell membrane.
The nucleus contains something called chromatin which is made of RNA, DNA and nuclear proteins.
DNA contains genetic material and also instructions to how to make our body work properly. DNA is
tied up by chromosomes. As the DNA cannot travel outside the nucleus to give instructions, it makes a
smaller copy of it self which is known as RNA. The RNA which does travel from the nucleus then
gets read by the ribosomes, which then proceeds on to make proteins. The main function of the
nucleus is to control gene expression and to help the replication of DNA which takes place during the
cell cycle.

The ER works closely with the other organelles such as the Golgi, ribosomes, the Mrna and the Trna.
The ER is also connected to the nucleus but each of the membranes is different and the function of the
particular cell usually determines both the structure and the size of the endoplasmic reticulum. Some
cells may not contain ER for example our red blood cells. Cells found in our liver contain cells with a
large structural ER. There are 2 different types of ER called smooth ER and rough ER. Although they
have the same types of membrane they are both shaped very differently. The smooth and rough ER is
made of a double membrane which forms s a sac known as cisternae. When the protein molecules are
synthesized it is then fathered in the cisternal space and is then released off in

The swelling that occurs can cause a temporary distortion of the cornea, which leads to blurry vision; in addition, ointments used during the surgical procedure or those prescribed for use at night can cause blurriness. Another common cause of blurry vision is dryness due to the inability of the eyelids to close because of swelling. The swelling makes it difficult for your eyelids to distribute the tear film evenly across your eye, which causes this distortion. • 15. Poetry In Poe s The Raven By Edgar Allan Poe Every time we hear the word poetry we immediately think of romance and beauty. However, having read the poem The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, we have concluded that even dark and gloomy poetry has its own meaning. While going through its stanzas, the magnificent style and rhythm of Poe s writing made me feel like I also was in the room with the narrator. The poem itself is an incredible experience, filled with deep meanings and symbols that if you re not aware of them you can totally misunderstand the plot. Furthermore, Poe emphasizes the o sound in words such as Lenore and nevermore in order to highlight the lonely melancholy sound of the poem and also to establish the overall atmosphere. Additionally, the repetition of nevermore gives the poem a circular sense while also bringing forth a larger meaning to the poem. Like in many other poems from Poe, The Raven refers to an agonized protagonist with memories of a deceased woman. Lenore, the woman he speaks of in the poem, we could assume she had a premature death which makes the narrator unable to free himself of the pain of her memory. He often asks the raven if there is balm in Gilead and therefore spiritual salvation for the woman. He also asks if she really exists in the afterlife, but the raven confirms his worst suspicions by rejecting his supplications. Leaving all this behind, one the most interesting things about the poem is the raven. Referencing what we learned in class, Poe thought of the raven as the bearer of ill news for a number of reasons. Initially, Poe was looking for an animal that could mimic and produce human like sounds without actually understanding the meaning of them. He first tried using a parrot, the bird could easily repeat words that he could have heard before and it really didn t understand them at all. However, for the dark propose of the poem, such a colorful bird wouldn t fit the profile. Then, he thought of the raven, this one couldn t ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 16. Film Analysis Of Nanook Of The North Nanook of the North: Directed by Robert Flaherty, Nanook of the North (1922) is one of the most famous travel films, or scenics, of all time. Flaherty spent years in Canada learning the culture of the Inuit (eskimo) people there. What makes this story so captivating is that it is presented as more of a drama than a documentary. Flaherty staged many scenes to portray Nanook as a protagonist, and the harsh snowy environment as the antagonist. The way the footage was edited together helped make the film interesting, since many of the sequences by themselves are boring. After being turned down by many distribution companies, Flaherty eventually was able to get his film in theaters, where it became a huge success, even so much as to become a staple of pop culture of the time. Over time, the film has come to represent the eternal struggle between man and nature. Agitki : At the dawn of the USSR, Vladimir Lenin proclaimed: Of all the arts, for us the cinema is the most important. Lenin believed this because cinema was the easiest way to spread propaganda at the time. Much of the people living in the Russian countryside were impoverished and illiterate. By sending out propaganda films, called agitki, Lenin found the perfect method of educating the rural masses on the new state of their government. This type of propaganda was meant to agitate and enthuse audiences. They were typically very short, but also effective in spreading news to the uneducated rural masses. In addition ... • 23. Reaction Rate Of Clock Reactions Introduction: Investigations into the mechanics of chemical kinetics can reveal invaluable information relating to the rates of reaction. There are numerable applications of reaction rates, knowledge in this area is pivotal for industrial, commercial and research sectors. Thus, allowing them the ability to manipulate a variety of factors of chemical reactions with the use of reaction rates. In the scope of the kinetics of clock reactions, there is a range of information that can be obtained about reaction rates (Shakhashiri, 1992). A clock reaction is characterised by an abrupt colour change following an established time lag (Lente et al, 2007). The induction period in a clock reaction is a result of low concentrations of the clock chemical (i.e. the chemical that enables the final reaction). The induction period ends after the total consumption of a limiting reagent, which initiates a short increase in the rate of product formation, resulting in a visible colour change (Schmitz, 2010)(Lente et al, 2007). The reaction rate of clock reactions is subject to factors including temperature, concentration, catalysis and inhibition. These factors can be manipulated, thus changing the length of the induction period in a clock like manner (Shakhashiri, 1992). Changes in the rate of reaction can be described in terms of chemical equilibrium. Chemical equilibrium is a state in which the forward and reverse reactions take place at the same rate (Wilbraham et al, 2002). The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The four skills you need to develop are listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You need to be able to understand when someone speaks the language you are learning. In addition to that, you need to be able to express yourself in that language. Most of the time, the written language is more complex than the spoken language. You want to be able to understand a text you read. Moreover, you want to be able to express your ideas in writing, with the right words and correct grammar. Acquiring these four skills requires various study patterns. Building Vocabulary First of all, you need to build vocabulary. Building vocabulary involves learning the meaning of the words, their spelling, and pronunciation. Unlike in English, each word has a gender in many languages like French, Spanish, and German. You need to memorize the gender of a word in order to use it correctly. You also need to learn the conjugations of verbs and adjectives. That is where you cross the border between the vocabulary and grammar. Studying Grammar In order to learn a foreign language, you need to study its grammar, the structural rules of a language. First, he believed that only by using a triple alliance of cadres, revolutionary organizations and the army, which represented the most significant three parts in the revolution, could China go back to the right track. In order to consolidate this alliance, Maoist leaders declared that a revolutionary committee was necessary and the only way to reorganize the political power (Meisner, 331). The nucleus contains something called chromatin which is made of RNA, DNA and nuclear proteins. DNA contains genetic material and also instructions to how to make our body work properly. DNA is tied up by chromosomes. As the DNA cannot travel outside the nucleus to give instructions, it makes a smaller copy of it self which is known as RNA.
