a. There is a very limited amount of Amphibians and Reptiles in Alaska, out of the total amount of
reptiles and amphibians there is only four different types of reptiles and they are all turtles. There is
four different amphibians Toad, Newt, Salamander, Frog. The reason why the amphibians and reptiles
can t live in Alaska is because they need to be in the water and you can t go in water when it is either
frozen or negative twenty degrees so if they tried to lay their eggs they could die in the coldness of the
water, and they could not make it to adulthood.

Even had there been no mother rival, she would still have refused to accept an interest in herself that
was secondary to philosophic interests. Eliza acknowledges the fact that she s worthy of so much
more, and she won t ever settle for a life behind Higgins s shadow. After all, what s there to a life of
Eliza fetching Higgins s slippers when she can enjoy a much better one.
Further in the book, it s shown that Eliza Doolittle is certainly not someone to be ignored. When
Higgins and Pickering seem to be carried away from their small experiment , Eliza doesn t stand there
and does nothing, she voices her thoughts. Well, here I am ready to pay him not asking any favor and
he treats me as if I was dirt. (2.34) . She maybe uneducated ,but compared to others, Eliza is a smart
lady who refuses to let other stumble over her. Certainly, Eliza won t back down as her feeling of self
worth growing. I won t be called a baggage when I ve offered to pay like any lady. Even at the end of
the story, a bitter argument is seen between the two, Eliza and Higgins. As a result, with her extremely
strong characters and ideologies, Eliza leaves Higgins for good along with her self respect and dignity.
Far from many stereotypical Cinderella story like, Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion is determined to make
sure that no one can manipulate her just for the sake of their boredom life. Readers don t see the
impression of Eliza as a weak and powerless human being; she stands for the
