Graphic Design Experiments
-I have used a variety of colour such as:
yellow, dark grey, and light blue.
-I have used different variety of images
for each course to represent York college.
-I have used the York college logo to
represent my project.
-I have added details about the college
and also it’s phone number.
-I have added a background of the inside
of the York college.
-I have enlarged the text and the phone
number, also I have changed the colours
of the information above and the phone
number below so then you can see it. I
have chosen a yellow and a dark grey
colour so then you can see it. The yellow
t shirt from the image and the yellow
text is easy to notice/see.
-The background of this poster is inside
the college and also these 4 pictures
shows the students inside the college as
well.
Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
• The advantages of working in Photoshop is using the magic wand to
get rid of the white background behind my character. I know how to
change the colour of the background. I know how to add a text box.
I know how to change the style of the text, the colour and also has
to make the text big/small.
.Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
The disadvantage of using Photoshop is that not all the white goes
away from the background most does though but not every single
white piece. I have trouble trying to find the colour of the text, seeing
what colour suit the project. I sometimes find it hard to undo when I
mess up on something e.g. getting rid of some colour or trying to reset
the image. I can design posters on photoshop. I can
minimize/maximize an image.
Graphic Design Production
Most of the red colours in this poster
represent Christmas. There are bright
red bright colours, positive colours
which make people feel happy. There
are also green bright green colours. The
elf is holding the coke bottle, and it is
also centred in the middle of the
image.
These two colours
represented my poster.
The red colour represents
the sign and the elves
cloths. The white on the
other hand represents
some on the sign and the
snow in the background of
the image.
Graphic Design Production
I created a poster on "photoshop", my project was
to create a poster that involves coca cola. I
included coke as that was my objective to put into
my poster. I chose a Christmas theme for my
poster. I added colour to my poster red and white,
as I planned it on my layout slide and mood board.
I have added a background for my design and used
a theme of google.
Independentbrainstorm
• Strengths
• The strengths for an independent
brainstorm is to come up with ideas
and share it in a group. To think of
different ideas.
• Weakness
• Coming up with specific ideas, thinking
of specific ideas/ going into detail.
Radio Production Experiments
These 3 videos are my experiment videos and I have used Foil( Snow), bag(Sea waves)
and a bottle(Bells ringing). I have made noises of these 3 objects and I have used them
as an example for my radio advertisement. These 3 videos represents background
sound for my radio advertisement. These 3 videos take up to 3-4 seconds. I have made
them short just to get an idea of what I kind of sound I can use for my radio
advertisement.
Radio Production
• Advantages of working in Premiere Pro
-The advantages of using Premiere pro was learning how to edit the sound
and music from this software.
-Also knowing how to import music and sound videos from my file to the
editing software (Premiere pro).
-Knowing how to turn the volume (up/down) when you want to click on a
music /sound video.
• Disadvantages of working in Premiere Pro
-The disadvantage of using Premiere pro was not knowing all the tools in
this software.
-Not knowing all the editing tools.
-You cannot use premiere pro from adobe unless you are willing to pay
money.
Radio Production
This is my project of my radio
advertisement that I have just
created on Premiere pro on adobe. I
have added similarities from
different radio advertisement such
as the radio advert which included
the beach scene from 2009. The
differences I have included is my
own music and I have changed the
tone of the seagulls and the sea
waves. I have added in this advert
like any other advert coca cola
including the similarities of that is I
have added someone opening a
coke bottle and saying “ah”. I have
added beach music to include in my
advertisement.
Radio Production
Strengths
-Editing the music and the sound(cropping).
-Importing videos from my files into premiere
pro.
Weakness
-Learning all the tools like pen tool, text tool
and more.
Radio Production
Advergame Experiments
I have created
my first pixel art
on Photoshop. I
have used a
variety of tools
such as the
pencil, tool the
bucket tool and
more. I have
attempted to
create myself. I
have tried to
make my
character same
both sides. I
have added a bit
of shades to my
character’s

Advergame Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
• The advantage of using Photoshop was knowing the
tools, adding new layers and knowing how to include
the timeline.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
• The disadvantage of using Photoshop was that not
knowing how to export it. I have trouble with the
exporting by knowing what to export it as an
PNG/JPEG.

Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the best?
Why?
• I believe that my Christmas poster advertises the product the best
because in the background it has a sign saying “Sweet Taste Sweet”
this is referring to my project on Coca Cola. It has an elf holding
Coca Cola which makes the poster entertaining to the audience. It
also has a coca Cola logo on the bottom middle, which represents
what the product is about.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
• The product that is most professional is my radio advertisement
because people will be able to hear on what it says about Coca Cola
in: cars, Phones, Tablets, computers and more. There is sound
effects about someone drinking Coca Cola.
