This document summarizes a student's graphic design, radio production, and advergame experiments project. It includes reflections on the strengths and weaknesses of the projects, things learned, and areas for improvement. The student created a recycling-themed poster in Photoshop, a radio advertisement in Premiere Pro promoting taking a break with Coke, and an advergame in Photoshop about recycling Coke bottles. The poster is identified as the most professional product. Key lessons included time management, triple checking work, and asking more questions when unsure. Areas to develop further include skills with animation and game development.

Palestine last event orientationfvgnh .pptxRaedMohamed3
An EFL lesson about the current events in Palestine. It is intended to be for intermediate students who wish to increase their listening skills through a short lesson in power point.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

3. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
• I learnt a lot of things I had either forgotten or never got the chance to learn at all in
this project.
• It may not be easy at first but when you get the hang of it it’s quite simple.
• You can import images and cut them easily, making your project look more
professional then some other photo/drawing editors.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
• As I said previously It’s quit difficult at the start, and almost overwhelming with how
many tools, and buttons there are.
• When using photoshop on a computer, if you want to do digital art it’s quite difficult
4. Graphic Design Production
This one is the most similar
to my original poster, the
background, colours and
cartoonish aspects.
In both of these posters coke has their own
recycle logo instead of the classic one,
I personally thought the original recycle logo
went more with my colour scheme.
I chose to put more than one bottle, to have room for the
annotation. Design wise it also looked a lot better than just
one, the cartoon bottle was representing all bottles, plastic
and glass but my first idea was the original glass bottles to
be on the poster and they often come in a 4 or 6 pack
meaning there would be more than one not being recycled.
5. Graphic Design Production
Strengths -
Bold colours and
shapes, eye
catching.
Strong message,
symmetrical.
Conveys an
important message
that a lot of 16-19
year olds are
passionate about.
Changes I would make -
I would probably change
the size of the bottles to fill
up more space, and let the
text be larger
Weaknesses -
Writing is small, hard to
read.
It's a bit simple, so could
be more exciting and
colourful.

7. Radio Production Experiments
This is my only original sound. I asked my dad to say something along the lines of “take a break, have a coke”
although we went through quite a long alternate slogan process, trying things like: “It’s okay to take a break
with a coke” “breathe, take a minute, have a coke” etc. they all seemed to long or not to the point, so we
settled on this one. We just used a recording app on my phone, and I just sent it to myself so I could download it
at college. I struggle with perfectionism with projects like this but I actually really like how imperfect this advert
is so hopefully I’ve learnt to just do my best and not care to much about how “perfect it is”
I used Zapsplat to find specific sounds, I looked up “Can opening” for this one. I found that
using simple words describing the sound was more effective then trying to word the exact
sound.
I tried to use my own audio for the background crowd noises but my attempt didn’t come out very good
quality so I decided to look this sound up on Zapsplat as well. I found an airport ambience example and
it sounded good enough for my ad so I cut it a little and ended up being very happy with the result it
gave. It was very useful to have websites on hand that you can just search for your sound, download it,
and import it. It made the process a lot easier. I will definitely be using websites like this is the future.
I had to cut out the first part f this sound (also found on Zapsplat) because I only wanted the
light fizz in the middle to go after my can opening sound.
It adds a lot to the finished product in my opinion.
8. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in Premiere Pro
• It has a lot of useful and experimentative effects, that can make your project even ore personal.
• It’s easy to use.
• It has all the typical editing software tools, making people who have used other editing software to
not be completely knew to everything to do with premiere pro.
• Disadvantages of working in Premiere Pro
• New experience with a software so there’s always a chance you’ll get something wrong or not know
how to do certain things.
• I’m personally more used to, final cut pro and imovie. Which although similar to premiere pro it’s still
sometimes confusing when they don’t do the same things or use the same layout/tools. But all in all I
don’t think there are many disadvantages.
9. Radio Production
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDj8QYigFnw
- The first obvious difference is
the length of the ad, my one is
13 seconds and the original
coke one is 30 seconds
Adding a part of the creative process or a
acted out version of it, Is a great marketing
scheme making the consumers almost feel
part of this conversation or decision making
works a lot better than many people thing
- I made sure my radio advert had more
of a relaxing, not to loud, low energy,
vibe to it whereas normally coke ads
have a lot of energy and passion in
their speakers voice and the sounds
they use
I also find the voices in this ad to be
rather jarring, very aggressive or
scary sounding and not really
something I would like to listen to.
Whereas mine is almost the
opposite.
10. Radio Production
• Strengths –
• Short and to the point
• Representing an under represented group
• Weaknesses –
• Quite harsh stops and starts as I found It hard to edit certain things
• Could be misinterpreted
• Changes I would make –
• Searching for longer for better quality and more accurate sounds
• Recording the voice on a more professional mic, to up the quality
• Overall just have more time to make it more proffesional

12. Advergame Experiments
I had started my Adva-Game on a
different computer and forgotten to
save it, so I ended up having to start
all over again. Although I was sad that
I had lost it, I still remembered what
scenes I had made and recreated
them as well as I could. In some ways
I', happy I got to start again because
this version was a bit to details and
complicated. Not every mistake is a
bad one.
13. Advergame Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
• Easy animation process. It’s easy to delete, prolong,
and add frames
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
• It takes a long time to draw detailed lettering and
numbers with a mouse on photoshop
• I’m used to using a tablet and a pen to do pixel art
and art in general so going from that to this
is difficult, but I understand why we have to do it on
computers
14. Advergame Production
Often games such as these have similar backgrounds –
Bright blue sky, white fluffy contrasting clouds, and
green grass. Mine reminded me a lot of the flappy bird
background for some reason so I used Flappy Bird as
my similar existing product.
They have the same repetitive programming, the aim of these
games is to get as many points, or stay alive the longest meaning
the game could go on and on forever.
Flappy Bird always made me very stressed, and
although that may just be a me problem, I
thought it was unlikely so I made a game with
similar rules but a more comfortable, slow,
relaxing even, environment.
15. Advergame Production
One little thing I
would change is
that I didn't put a
recycling symbol
bin here instead
of just an easy
one from the top
of my head. I
don't know why I
didn't think of it
at the time but I
think that would
add a lot.
I like how it's simple but
not to simple that you
can't get any detail in
your game
I realised that I made
levels instead of
doing what I had
panned, to make the
game a game you
can play forever
unless you miss a
bottle, but I put
"Level 1 complete"
instead of "First
challenge complete"
or "Highscore" and I
only realised this
when it was to late
I'm not sure about how flat
everything in the background
looks, I wish I would've added
some shading.
I used the eyedropper tool to keep the grey tones I
used throughout the animation coherent
I don't feel I
made the whole
Adva-Game long
enough, If I had
more time I
would've but
more effort into
making it more
like an actual
level.
16.
17. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the best? Why?
• The poster, because it's my most professional looking product from this project. It's
where my idea to promote recycling started and I think its target audience is the
most accurate, acknowledging what's going on in the world and the climate is very
important for my generation.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
• As I just said, my poster is the one that looks like it could hang up somewhere and
be used as an ad for coke.
• It conveys the message simply and effectively, gives info on cokes recycling and asks
you to do your part in disposing of their products.
18. Reflective Triangle
Write down one key
thing you have learnt
from this project
Write down two
things you would do
differently if you were
to do this project
again and how you
would do that.
Write down three
things you still need
to develop your
understanding on or
skills within.
Always triple check
your ideas, work,
and that you've
saved everything
Redo my adva-game to
the way I first planned,
aka make it a no level
game which would've
made a lot more sense. I
just forgot, until it was too
late to change it.
Ask more questions
about examples for
answers, instead of
just guessing and
sometimes getting it
wrong.
Time management
Writing things
down to remember
them, making sure
everything is
coherent
I'd love to start a new at
home project of making
my adva-game a bigger
animation. Not only to
practice but to make
what I orignally planned
to make
