2. Style sheet
Galaxy/Space images – Are inspiration for the main theme of the
Album cover
Souvenir images – remind me of the different designs I can do
with different souvenir examples
Band/concert images – I thought maybe I could incorporate band
members or more likely, concert/stage lights. I later decided I
didn’t like the idea because I don’t think it would go with the
other elements of the product
Travel image – To get souvenirs you have to go somewhere and
the most popular mode of transport holiday wise is an aeroplane
Writing images – If I do any handwriting (non-fonting) on my
products I want it to be handwritten
Fonts - I like, large, bold, fonts. Especially when they’re
contrasting against the background or other fonting
Colours – I picked all the colours I think go with the theme and to
also show that what is not there (colour wise) or in-between two
that are, I don’t want in my products
3. Layout 1
This is a mock-up/simple design, I
used the previous snow globe
design that I drew and made a
simple pattern around it, I don’t
like this design because it’s plain
but also not plain enough
somehow. The letters and pattern
being similar colours doesn’t
work and makes it difficult to
read.
I like the thought of the globe
being the main feature though,
I’m just not sure f it would work. I
want to take some of the aspects
of this quick-design into my final
product. There’s a way I could do
this design better and those
experiments may help the
process a lot. This design was
inspired by the “souvenirs”
picture and the black and white
font.
4. Layout 2
This design/mock-up was a
very “this is not anywhere
close to my actual ideas and
how I want the cover to look”
design but I ended up liking it a
lot well, maybe not exactly this
but the concept and what it
could be if I spent more time
on it. This was inspired by the
camera and plane image, the
thing in the middle is supposed
to be a phone, making it seem
like everywhere around you it’s
bright/daytime and through
your phone or your eyes it’s
dark and space-like. I’m sure
there’s a metaphor somewhere
in there. I will also be taking
some aspects of this into my
final designs because I think it
could look nice if I did it
properly.
7. Props & Locations
Props/Costume needed Locations needed
To use materials/props I only have there Home
To do all the things I can’t do at home College
8. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Don’t have enough time to make my main
products
Use your time wisely on the most important
things and then do more if you have the time,
do some time management scheduling.
Doesn’t come out the way I wanted it to Use language to tell why you don’t think it
worked and what you would do differently, it’s
okay if things aren’t perfect
I accidently delete some of my work Double, triple, check that you’ve saved
everything onto your OneDrive, and maybe add
an extra copy to your at home computer as well
just in case.
9. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
I will be using glues and crafting things to
make my CD (if I do) and that can be
dangerous
Make sure to be careful with tools, and have
help/supervision from my parents

Editor's Notes
Explore colours, fonts and image styles similar to what you want to produce. Discuss all three elements in relation to why you chose them and where you may use them in your project. Go over as many pages as you need to
