Graphic Design Experiments
• The colour scheme I used was light
blue as it shows a profession
atmosphere.
• The pictures I chose were to show
off what kind of courses the
college has to offer.
• Enlarge college telephone number
encase people want to get in
contact with the college.
• I placed an image of the inside to
give the reader an idea of what
the college with look like.
• The layout is neatly arrange as not
confused the reader.
Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
– Can help you get rid of unwanted backgrounds.
– Also can help make posters, thumbnails and etc.
– You can put in certain type of messages, information
and pictures to make anything you want.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
– The process to use photoshop is very tedious.
– Without any experience on photoshop you might as
well be work blind.
Graphic Design Production
Both have the
same logo and
colour
scheme.
Both have a
scary ambience.

Radio Production Experiments
• To get some of the lines for the
advert, me and some friends went
into a quiet and empty room and
recorded about three voice lines
then downloaded them onto
Premiere Pro.
• I also got some of the sound
effects such as calm winds, shore
sounds and can opening from a
website called Freesound and then
downloaded them straight to
Premiere Pro.
Radio Production
• Advantages of working in Premiere Pro
– Is more easier to edit all kinds of videos and sound
effects to help you create all kinds of products like
short movies and radio adverts.
– Is very well known and thanks to other sources
can be very informative if you don’t know a
specific function.
• Disadvantages of working in Premiere Pro
– Gathering all the sound effects and records can be
a bit time consuming.
– If you don’t know how some of the tools work
then you can easier get stuck.
Radio Production
• Pepsi Radio Ad – YouTube and my
advert have similar meanings and
the sound effects from website
called free sound.
• All of my radio advert was done
on a program called premiere pro
where you can add all kinds of
sounds and music to make all
kinds of products like my radio
advert.
Radio Production
The strengths
• Thanks to all the tools on premiere pro like the razor or the
sound editor, I could get my radio advert to come together.
The weaknesses
• If you are not familiar with the program premiere pro you can
get very easily confused without the right help.
Anything I would change.
• I could have added maybe a small little jingle at
the end of the advert to help it seemed
recognisable.
Advergame Experiments
Advergame Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
– Thanks to some tips and an understanding of the
tools in photoshop like the eraser and the magic
pen tool for drawing in pixels I was able to
complete my product and the experiment.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
– Drawing in pixels is not easy to grasp when it
comes to sketching out curves for some creations.
Advergame Production
Both my game and this existing
game both use platforms in
order to reach the top.
These game have a character
trying to reach the top but
both are suppose to represent
certain things like an alien or a
pop can.
Advergame Production
One of the strengths
of my game is it’s very
easy to understand
what it’s telling you
and how exactly to
play the game.
A weakness I had with
making the was I had little
time in making to game
more appealing like adding
a more creative
background instead of just
brown.
Considering it was my first
time working in pixel art I say
turned out alright, all thanks to
a tool on photoshop called the
magical pencil that help make
my stetches come to life, not
literally.
Using photoshop a little hard to
understand because I had to keep
track of the amount of layers I had to
make for each one of my creations
but with a little help from the
teacher I mange to understand how
it works.
Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
 I think my 1st product the poster advertised the item better because the
presentation was eye catching and had a theme to go along with it, when
people think of Coke Cola some people of Christmas but why not make it more
fearful, like the time of Halloween.
• Which of your products is the most professional?
Why?
 I think my 2nd product the radio advert is the most professional because the
concept of the advert sounds exactly what other coke cola adverts would do
like the tried person looking for a break and all they need to do is open a nice
cool can of coke and feels like they have transported to a nice, calm and
relaxing beach considering that you would drink cold pop in the walm summer.
Reflective Triangle
Write down one key
thing you have learnt
from this project
Write down two
things you would do
differently if you were
to do this project
again and how you
would do that.
Write down three
things you still need
to develop your
understanding on or
skills within.
I have
learned
how to use
various
programs
like
photoshop
and
premiere.
The first thing I
were to do
differently would
be to make my
advert Game
more appealing if
given more time.
The second thing I
would change is to
give my radio
advert more real
sound effects like
the sound of an
actual crowd
instead of from a
website.
The first thing I
need to develop
is my skills on the
programs like
photoshop and
premiere.
The second thing I need
to work on is get a better
understanding the
specifics of the various
products like for the
posters, radio and game
adverts.
The third I would
develop would be a
better understanding
on how radio adverts
are put together and
executed.
