Everyday people rely on memory. Remembering to set your clock the night before, the routine you do
every morning getting ready for the day, remembering what you must do for the day, and remembering
something as simple as making a sandwich. None of this is possible without memory. Memory is the
ability to be able to mentally remember and manipulate information. Memory can be affected by
strong emotions, injuries and diseases. There are different types of memory; sensory, short term, and
long term memory. Sensory memory is sensory information coming at you that you can be retained for

When one is discovering a personal worldview, it is important to learn about how that perspective
looks for the beginning of time and the end of time. As a Christian, it is especially important to
understand what stance one should take on creationism. Looking at Genesis 1 2, one can see why there
is much controversy amongst the Christian community because there are several different ways one
can interpret these chapters. For example, some people believe the world was created in six 24 hour
days and these individuals are known as Young Earth Creationists. While others know as Old Earth

On this day, God planted the seeds into the world making His garden. Someone who believes in
Young Earth Creationism would believe that God sped up the process so everything would be
completed within 24 hours. According to Genesis 1:12 it says, the land produced vegetation: plants
bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.
And God saw that it was good. (NIV). This scripture states that the land produced vegetation which
means that God did not speed up the process of making the vegetation grow faster. Instead God let the
earth do the work of growing. Going on with the argument against Young Earth Creationism would be
to look at the scriptures in Genesis 1:24 31 and Genesis 2:7 8. Here it talks about the sixth day of
creation, on this day animals were created, Adam, and God planted the Garden of Eden. Genesis 2:15
states that all the cattle, the birds of the sky, and every beast in the field to Adam to name. God put
Adam to sleep, took a piece from this side and formed Eve. Adam exclaimed, Now at length (NIV). At
length means now at last, indicating that it has been a long period of time that Adam had gone without
Eve. As humans we desire connections with other human beings and we desire love. For Adam to
become lonely within just a few hours would not seem plausible. If we consider a day in time through
the Old Earth Creationism perspective; a single day relates to a thousand years, then it would seem
more plausible that Adam grew lonely during this period. Also, back in the Garden of Eden there were
over ten thousand animals. For Adam to name every single one of them in only a few short hours

Norms Are The Expectations, Or Rules Of Behavior
Norms are the expectations, or rules of behavior that develop to reflect and enforce values. A norm
violation is when a person goes against a certain way that culture and society expects one to act. When
going against the norm it means that you are doing something that is not acceptable to one s society or
their culture. Normative behavior is expected to be in every culture. For example, in our society men
and women have the freedom to wear whatever they please, we are allowed to show our legs, arms,
feet etc. because its an expression of who we are and what we like. In the Muslim culture when a
women reaches puberty no part of her body should remain uncovered except the face and the hand up
to the wrist joint. If the Muslim woman wore shorts and a t shirt it would be considered a violation of
a norm. But because this violation differs from our American Society it wouldn t be considered weird
or strange to wear shorts and a tee.
The norm violation i preformed was the invasion of privacy. People are used to being in a bubble,
having a couple feet of space among themselves and strangers. So what i did was go to my local
Target and basically creep four people out. I started off by walking up to these people individually. and
standing so close to them to where our shoulders met. The only common reaction they shared was
confusion. Two of the customers didn t see me coming, i snuck up on them. One of them (a middle
