Absolutism is defined as a form of government with unlimited power held by a single sovereign individual. Liberalism focuses on protecting individual freedom and examples of liberal parties in the Philippines and Singapore are given. Socialism involves public ownership of economic resources and China and Denmark are used to illustrate socialist principles. The dominant ideologies in the Philippines are described as liberalism and conservatism.
