2009 overall seem to me as dystopian films. To show how each film portrays the different aspects of
perspectives on the future, and a dystopia, I m going to use the settings, actions, and outcomes of each

The setting to me feels like the most important aspect of determining if a movie is a dystopia or not.
The Matrix takes places in a city called Zion, which is made up of many machines. The Matrix is a
computer program that humans are trapped in without knowing, and they assume they are just living a
regular life, but they are not. The real world they live in is being overrun by machines that are trying
to end all existence of human life. Humans do not live regular lives in this movie. Either they are
being brain washed through the matrix, or out fighting machines to save Zion, the world they live in.

One s worldview is the structure from which we view reality and make sense of life. We have all
contemplated some common questions. What is our purpose? How was the earth created? Is there
eternity? Why is there evil and suffering? The Christian worldview is consistent when responding to

In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). God created all living beings
and He created man to live in His image. His creation was made in six days and on the seventh day He

The Basilica features many instances of an upside down cross. This represents St Peter s crucifixion

The Mask You Live In is a 2015 American documentary film that covers the topic of hyper
masculinity in American society and its effects on the development of boys in this country. The
primary argument that this film makes is that it is highly unrealistic for men to live up to the standard
of hyper masculinity that our society as created and forced upon them. In fact, the film makes the
argument that men who try to live up to these standards are setting themselves up for failure because
many of them fall in to deep depression as they fail to measure up to society s skewed idea of
masculinity. This film uses various interviews from many different individuals including a single
father, victims of abuse, and teachers in order to support the overall claim that it is trying to make
along with going into some of the effects that hypermasculinity has on boys as they grow up. Overall,

graduate class, I began to wonder if the majority of readers only focused on Humbert Humbert s
transgressions. Had the rest of the world missed the point? Could no one recognize the genius behind

$1.75. As for the parking, it was more favourable to have your own source of transportation

Movement. In the novel Meridian by Alice Walker, the three central characters, Truman Held,
Meridian Hill, and Lynne Rabinowitz are young passionate activists during the Civil Rights
Movement. However, the relationship of genders and the racial and generational dynamics mold and

The thirteen colonies were a collection of British ruled territories that were made up of colonist that
opposed the way they were being treated by their far away motherland. No matter how different they
started out as, they refused to let the British rule them when it seemed that they did not even care
about the colonist, who were their subjects, well being. After imposing taxes and strict rules and
