Water Temperature And Salinity
What is Temperature and Salinity, what even is Seawater. Well you came to the right spot.
Temperature is a measurement of the average heat or thermal energy of the particles in a substance.1
Seawater is water that of course comes from an ocean or sea. Now Salinity is the total number of salt
dissolved in water.2 Temperature is a major determining factor of global climate patterns. It affects the
life cycles of plants and animals, influences weather and tides, and controls the freeze and thaw of the
polar ice caps. A small change in average temperature can have powerful effects on the environment
worldwide. Salinity helps us understand the health of a water body, and what animal and plant species
we expect to find (or not find) there.3 Some animals tolerate changes in salinity well, and are found in
both freshwater and salt water (eels, alewives, invasive Chinese Mitten Crabs). Others are healthy
only when living within a certain range of salinity (oysters). Oceans are4 the lifeblood of planet Earth
and humankind. They flow over nearly three quarters of our planet, and hold 97% of the planet s
water. They produce more than half of the oxygen in the atmosphere, and absorb the most carbon from
it. The temperature of seawater varies with the amount of sun that hits that area. This includes the
angles of the sun rays. Depending on how much sunlight hits a certain spot the temperature changes
because the more sunlight a spot might get, the more the temperature will increase due

Personal Narrative-Home In High School
The Lab The cool, brisk wind blew against the two story, brick walled office and, the smell of Fall,
containing the smell of orange, ripe pumpkin, surrounded the air. Dry, Fall colored leaves from the
two hazel birch trees, rooted in the front lawn, funneled down to the lower, empty parking lot of the
property; the work week ended. Surprisingly, the cloudy, gloomy Saturday afternoon contained many
fun activities for my Dad, Annie, and I.1 Annie, my blonde, blue eyed, older sister and I would hop
into our Dad s black Infiniti. My tall, brown haired Dad would drive us to his lab. His dental office,
Ordont, housed the activities of creating dental appliances, ranging from invisible retainers to braces
and resided off Smizer Station road in Fenton, Missouri. When we reached the parking lot, Annie and
I would leap out of the car and skip down the cracked cement path to the wooden, chestnut door,
waiting for our Dad to unlock the entrance. When we reached the door, Annie and I were greeted by
the soft purr of Jinxy, sitting on the welcome mat. Jinxy was a calm black cat with white fur paws and

a cozy but uncertain feeling about this place because the office was a big part of my family, but I had
no clue how the equipment worked like the enormous blue machine that took up one room. The

put the scanning in the machine. Then the machine would turn from a soft, low hum into a loud, rough

brought us to the topic of competition. I asked him what separated him from his competition. What
makes him better? He told me there is nothing that makes him better than his competition. This
grabbed my attention. Then what makes your customers come to you rather than go to the
competition? My customers are always satisfied. A client came in and asked for a specific haircut.
When I was finished, he got up and looked at himself in the mirror and smiled. He told me that he s
been to numerous barbershops and none of them ever gave him the haircut HE wanted. They gave him
the appearance THEY thought they should give him. He appreciated this. That, I guess, is what sets
me apart from my competition. I satisfy the customer. They come first whether I approve of what they

Ducati
Ducati Q) How did Ducati become a profitable motorcycle maker despite its small scale? Before its
takeover by the American private equity firm Texas Pacific Group (TPG), Ducati went from being one
of the top manufacturers of the high performance sport motorcycle industry to being on the verge of
bankruptcy. TPG identified Ducati as a high end product with enormous potential for growth but
realized that serious change was required if Ducati was to ever fulfill this potential. TPG decided to
appoint Federico Minoli, an expert in turnaround management as the CEO of Ducati. When Minoli
arrived he saw that the company had no distinct overriding strategy, there was no management
structure and no set goals to guide the direction the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ducati had managed to successfully establish itself as a producer of high quality, reliable and stylish
motorcycles. They did this through an aggressive outsourcing policy, using strict supplier criteria,
using the platform approach to production and by leveraging the advantages of being located in the
highly sophisticated Emilian mechanical district. Ducati outsourced around 87% of their production,
which was the highest in the industry. By outsourcing to highly specialized components producers in
the Emilian district Ducati could focus on the key value adders such as design, R D, the production of
strategic parts and quality control. Ducati was very selective and placed great emphasis on the quality
of its suppliers, so its number of suppliers decreased from 200 to 130. It typically identified at least 2
suppliers for each component and signed only short term contracts with them. This provided Ducati
with a pool of highly competitive and dedicated suppliers. A big factor in the efficiency of the
production process was the platform approach to production. Ducati would divide motorcycles into a
small number of large components which would consist of smaller subcomponents. A key supplier
would then be made responsible for a component and managing the suppliers for the respective
subcomponents. Heavy investment in R D was made and an internal design division

Our Group Organized A Science Event
THE EVENT: Our group organized a science event titled Nap15 , a word play on the mathematical
notation of power . Our objective was to dispel and debunk the myth that any duration of a powernap
is beneficial for increasing productivity and alertness. Instead, we sought to establish a key message of
a fifteen minute optimal powernap time, which yielded recuperative effects without any detrimental
side effects (Hayashi, Motoyoshi, Hori, 2005).Our target audience was current university students at
the University of Western Australia (UWA) who are about to sit for the end of semester examinations.

We also wanted to exude an informal, cosy ambiance at our booth. Hence we came up with the idea of
bringing cushions, pillows and inflatable mattresses for visitors to play with and sit on, complete with
background music. Having interactive activities has been shown to increase satisfaction in participants
(Bultitude Sardo, 2012). Atmosphere plays an important role in marketing, and a cosy ambience helps
to make people feel at ease and more receptive (Kotler, 1973).
On the actual day of the event, I was part of the Advertising and Recruiting Team, where were dressed
up in pyjamas and approached passers by to answer a short question and visit our booth to try our
crossword puzzle challenge and find out more about power napping. I managed to bring in about 20

EFFECTIVE SCIENCE COMMUNICATION:
Effective science communication is essential because it allows scientists to communicate important
knowledge and beneficial findings in a clear, easily understood way to the masses (Burns, O Connor,
Stocklmayer, 2003). When scientists are able to translate technical jargon into plain language for non
experts, they are able to dispel myths incorrect beliefs more effectively and convincingly. This would
increase erudition and quality of life in society as a whole, as people are able to make sound, informed
decisions. (Aguinis, Pierce, Bosco, Dalton, Dalton, 2011)

The Impact Of Media On The Performance Of Gender
Evaluate the role of media in the performance of gender. Media is the most powerful tool of
communication in today s society, and it represents a constructive role, as without media it wouldn t
be possible to collect any knowledge and information. Media has an essential role of representing
differences as well constructing them; it presents differences regards to race, culture, and many other
structural variables in a certain way, yet within all the differences gender binary is conspicuous from
the birth. Media has a responsible role in the society, due to the fact that its construction of
masculinity and femininity images has a significant influence on how the individual s life is lead. The
way media represents gender has changed throughout the history, and still changes over time, and
these changes implicates our everyday lives albeit we are conscious of it or not. It is initially crucial to
engage with the theories about the complexities of gender, and gain an in depth insight of how one can
perform gender in order to understand the impact of media on shaping our lives through constructing
our understanding of gender. Secondly, after comprehending media s massive influence on our
perception, analysing contemporary media examples will be helpful to embody this impact on our
identities, and everyday lives.
From the very beginning of our lives, gender is the most outstanding difference that distinguishes one
from another, yet gender is much more complex than we would

The International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia
On May 25, 1993, U.N. Security Council Resolution 827 established an international tribunal charged
with prosecuting violations of international law arising from the armed conflicts in the former
Yugoslavia. Not since the Nuremberg and Tokyo trials, following World War II has an international
court tried individuals accused of crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocide. The
International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTFY), which was established at The Hague,
Netherlands, is widely seen as an important step toward the deterrence of crimes, the establishment of
the firm rule of international law, and the promotion of world peace. Yet, from its inception, the

In eastern Bosnia, these atrocities were war crimes that breached the Geneva Conventions and other
international laws governing conflicts between nations. They were also breaches of international
humanitarian law, as formulated at Nuremberg and elsewhere. When these tactics were employed by
Bosnian Serb forces as part of the program of so called ethnic cleansing directed against Bosnian
Muslims and other non Serbs, they also constituted genocide. The Genocide Convention is specifically
designed to cover crimes against groups, as opposed to crimes against humanity which do not
necessarily involve offenses against or persecutions of groups. But the Convention also limits the
crime of genocide to actions occurring between states. Under the tribunal s mandate, however, ethnic
persecution is treated as an international crime even if it has occurred within a single state. This is a
considerable expansion of international law, yet, through it, ICTFY exemplifies a new understanding
of accountability that makes heinous and systematic rights violations an international matter. The
thinking behind this change in the interpretation of international humanitarian law is based on the
easily observed fact that victims of ethnic persecution are citizens who have been rendered aliens
within their own homeland, and their status,

Darkness, confused irony all words used to describe the works of Edger Allen Poe. War, Honor, and
Victory, these words describe the war stories told by war novelist Tim O Brien. Both writers and good
ones at that, but these two have differences and similarities in their writing. The Cask of Amontillado
and the Sweetheart of Song Tra Bong both scream Irony. As the two stories progress there are
similarities, but also differences that define the two authors and their stories. Two of stories that let
you see these similarities are The Cask of Amontillado Poe and The Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong

Montresor kills Fortunato by bringing him into a dark cavern and pushes him off the ledge. Fossie
kills Mary Anne by bringing her into Vietnam. Although Mary Anne does not die, her life changes and
becomes a savage of Vietnam. The ending of these stories are both dark, but in different ways. This is
what makes comparing Poe to O Brien tricky. Poe is known around the world for his horror stories but
in The Cask of Amontillado he uses the character Montresor to provide insight on what s going on in
the story. Montresor is the narrator as well as a main character. As a reader continues reading The
Cask of Amontillado they start to see a lot of irony in what s going on, and as Dr. Charles W. Carter
from The Writing for the Arts and Humanities In The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe,
Montresor is out for revenge. Poe s Gothic story might lead the reader to believe that Montresor is
diabolical and calculating. Montresor s only concern appears to be exacting revenge with impunity.
Montresor never clarifies why Fortunato deserves punishment. The only clue Montresor offers is that
Fortunato causes him a thousand injuries until [venturing] upon insult (Poe 1). As a result, Montresor
plans to bury Fortunato alive. Unwittingly, Fortunato becomes a sacrificial lamb being led to
slaughter. Montresor carries out each detail while he smiles in the face of his victim. Montresor doesn
t smile at the thought of Fortunato s immolation because of his viciousness. Montresor smiles because
the sacrifice of Fortunato he believes brings him a great reward. Fortunato is merely a symbolic
character of a despised self in the unconscious of Montresor (Sweet Jr. 332). Fortunato is ironically
the mirror self of Montresor (Sweet Jr. 332). Montresor s desire to bury Fortunato alive paints the
psychological portrait of repression (Sweet Jr. 332). The burial of

Drugs And Anti-Addictive Drugs In Football And The NFL
As many of us do not want to believe it, football is a very dangerous sport and the NFL is full of
controversies. Being a very rugged sport, athletes are exposed to various injuries and are handed
dangerous opioids by coaches and team doctors. Pushing the human body past their designed limit is
harmful in the long run. With the hits that come along in football many players get trauma and have
countless concussions. CTE short for chronic traumatic encephalopathy is degenerative disease found
in people who suffer repetitive brain trauma.
Many former and current NFL players have faced many issues because of painkillers. 52 percent of
the retired players said they used prescription pain medication during their playing days. Of those, 71
percent said they misused the drugs then, and 15 percent of the misusers acknowledged misusing the
medication within the past 30 days. (Barr). Many professional football players are prescribes highly
addictive painkillers by team doctors. A lawsuit against the NFL had been filed for abusing the use of
painkillers and anti inflammatory drugs. Jeremy Newberry former player of the 49er s states Some
games, I m taking two, three Vicodin before the game, two or three Vicodin at halftime, taking a shot
of Toradol before the game, . Toradol is an anti inflammatory drug that reduces the hormones that
cause inflammation and pain. The potency of this drug is equivalent to morphine. For now the NFL
continues to deny all allegations. Athletes start using drugs to be able to perform with untreated
injuries. They later realize that they are unable to function without the use of those drugs. Dan
Johnson of the Miami Dolphins became addicted to painkillers after undergoing two back surgeries for
injuries he acquired while playing. He broke so many bones during his playing days that teammates
called him The King of Pain. Yet his addiction to painkillers had him contemplating suicide. (Barr).
Johnson was taking nearly a thousand vicodin pills a month. Many former players are no facing long

Mi lady, came a death whisper that filled the silence in an uncanny hollow way. Mi lord has returned.
Proserpina was sure that the spirit could hear her heart rate that was pounding in her ears. She forced
her sob down and refused to cry out in agony. Hades was damned to this land just as much as she was,
and there was no shock that he had returned. She just thought she had a few more days free of her
husband, king, and tormentor. Not for the first time her anger for Jupiter burned in her heart, for surely
he would have control over Pluto enough to force her release, but no the gods were powerless. Not for
the first time, Proserpina wished she would have died slowly instead of eating those seeds prolonging
her suffering.
Mi lady, whispered the laureus. With the speed of Mercury, Proserpina unsheathed her dagger and
launched it towards the laureus head. With a hellish scream the demon dissipated before her.
Proserpina grinned at her blade, as she bent to pick it up and place it back in its sheathe. If only she

Proserpina followed the spirit through the palace and went to the throne room at the heart of the

Imperialism In Philippines

Imperialism in the Philippines
For over 400 years, the Philippines has been imperialized by the Spanish and the U.S. in order to gain
more power. Under their control, there have been many changes to culture, tradition, religion, and
language due to heavy influence from both countries. Imperialism is a policy where a country extends
its power by conquering other territories through diplomatic or military power. Imperialism is heavily
driven by the rise of industry and the need for raw materials to manufacture new firearms and
consumer goods. The Spanish treated the Filipinos ruthlessly, forcing taxes, labor, and seizing crops
and livestock without proper compensation. The U.S. imperialization caused English to become one of
the Philippines main languages, hospitals, schools, and railroad systems were established, and present
day Philippine government shares similarities to U.S. government.
Section 1
First colonized by the Spanish in 1521, the U.S. never had official control of the Philippines until
1899, when the U.S. won the Spanish American war. Eventually, the U.S. acquired the Philippines
through the Treaty of Paris, where it states that Spain s control of the Philippine Islands will be
transferred to the United States for $20,000,000. The Filipinos first viewed the conflict between Spain
and the U.S. as the perfect time to break away from Spanish rule and secure an alliance with the U.S.

Video Game Violence Arguments
Unless you ve been living under a rock you ve probably heard of all the terrible acts of violence in
today s world. You may have also have heard many news outlets and other media sites talk about how
violence in games is influencing people to perform these acts. Yes, violent games are blamed for many
of these acts, but there is a lack of evidence to support these claims along with proof of the opposite
effect. There have been many studies that have tried to prove otherwise, but in the end most of them
show little proof of an actual effect.
Most evidence that tries to prove that violent games cause someone to be violent has been debunked
by other researchers. For example, a study required 32 people to play games for 15 minutes and after

A Report On Military Worms
Military worms can also be used for reconnaissance. In, 2012, shortly after Stuxnet, the Russians
discovered a virus, later named Flame, which had been extracting and dumping all data from Russian
computers. The article, Flame: Massive cyber attack discovered, researchers say by Dave Lee
explains, Once a system is infected, Flame begins a complex set of operations, including sniffing the
network traffic, taking screenshots, recording audio conversations, intercepting the keyboard, and so
on (Lee). This usage of computer worms demonstrates the versatility of cyberwarfare. Not only can
computer worms target specific factories and agencies, they can also be used to collect data secretly
from other countries. In this passage, the author says Flame has been taking screenshots, recording
audio conversations, [and] intercepting the keyboard. Imagine if the U.S. was attacked by Flame. The
virus could have been recording all search history, what individuals look like, and what they have said
around their computer for months, while it sends all of this information to another country. This gives
some insight into how powerful cyber weapons can be. The have the power to stalk anyone, almost
anywhere, while remaining almost completely undetected. Later in the document, David Lee writes,
Whereas Stuxnet just had one purpose in life, Flame is a toolkit, so they can go after just about
everything they can get their hands on. Once the initial Flame malware has infected a machine,

Benjamin Franklin And The Education Of Youth
Benjamin Franklin observed in 1747, It has long been regretted as a misfortune to the youth of this
province that we have no academy in which they might receive the accomplishment of a regular
education, instead of just perceiving that fact and being disappointed, Franklin decided to act. He
noted that Massachusetts had Harvard, established 1636, and Virginia claimed William and Mary,
established 1693, he did not want Pennsylvania to fall behind. This prompted him to write an
anonymous pamphlet in 1747 entitled, Proposals relating to the Education of Youth in Pennsylvania.
The pamphlet argued for the necessity of a college and urged concerned citizens to donate money
toward it. It was not until Franklin wrote his autobiography that the world knew it was he who wrote
Proposals relating to the Education of Youth in Pennsylvania. Franklin was shifting gears during this
time of his life. He was forty three years old, a wealthy printer, but he retried, tackling non
commercial pursuits like science, politics, and education. This is when he observed that lack of higher
education available in Pennsylvania. He longed to open a school for boys that would teach them the
practical skills needed in their future endeavors. He stated, Students preparing for the ministry or
medicine would study classical languages, while those becoming merchants would focus upon living
languages. In addition, Franklin hoped that all students would learn practical skills, including planting

Native American And English Colonists
Formal Paper English colonists first came to America late 1500s with the lost colony of Roanoke.
English settlers then tried again for a permanent settlement in the early 1600s with Jamestown.
Following Jamestown the English were consistently sending new colonists from England to America.
The first English settlers had faced quite the hardships. None of the colonists were prepared or
equipped with the knowledge to survive in their new environment. This is where Native American and
English colonists interactions began. Prior to English settlers, the Native Americans had also had
interactions with the Spanish. At first people believed that English colonists would treat the Natives
better than the Spanish colonists. But as history has shown, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Despite the hospitality of the Powhatans, whatever they did not give the colonists, the colonists just
stole it. The Powhatans stopped offering their lending hand. The atrocities the English committed
against the Powhatans were comparable of those of the Spanish. One instance in 1610, a Powhatan
chief was convicted for being rude. An English officer and his men invaded the Native American
town, seized some of the natives, putt some fiftene or sixtene to the Sworde and cut off their heads.
Then he ordered his men to burn homes and crops. When the expedition returned to its boats, his men
complained that Percy had spared an Indian quene and her Children. Percy relented, and threw the
children overboard shoteinge owtt their Braynes in the water. His men insisted that he burn the queen
alive, but Percy less cruel, stabbed her to death. The English saw themselves superior and considered
the Native Americans as savages. A major reason the relationship between the Native Americans and
colonists deteriorated was because the total misunderstanding they had of one another. The Europeans
did not understand the social structure of Native American tribes. For instance, the settlers believed
that the chief had the same power as the king of England. This caused confusion for the English
because they believed the chiefs should

Saudi Arabia Case Study
Introduction
Times have changed in Saudi Arabia: as the country s economy slows, the kingdom is giving more and
more priority to a local labor force and the numbers of low income, middle class and even high paid
expatriate executives have been affected by the new taxes policies.
Since mid 2014, the world s largest exporter of crude oil, which is also the largest economy in the
Arab world, has been dealing with substantially lower oil revenues than before. And the austerity and
cost cutting measures here and there affect expatriate workers.
Especially since the employment of Saudis in the private sector is favored, as part of an ambitious
program of diversification of the economy launched last year, called Vision 2030.

Western expatriates, often far better paid than their Asian or Arab counterparts, believe they can

them to Saudi Arabia (housing allowance, scholarships, annual trips ...) are melting, their companies
struggling to maintain them in the state. There is no income tax in Saudi Arabia.
According to Steck, to reduce costs, his employers decided to drive the Westerners out . I must admit
that they will save a lot, said the executive of a subsidiary of a German multinational, left in his
country in early February.

Becoming a Mentor
One thing I believe is a necessity in growing up is having a mentor. Having a mentor is, not only,
beneficial for the mentee but also the mentor. Being a mentor is a learning experience for everyone
participating, it helps people grow as a person and friendships are created when a bond if formed.
Some people might think it s a waste of time for a child or that it ll never work out for a troubled
delinquent but based on the research I ve done, I have proven them wrong. Through out this paper I
will provide the pros and cons of mentoring and how they affect both mentor and mentee. To back up

It takes a lot of commitment to be a mentor, an appropriate meeting time needs to be discussed
between mentor and mentee so that it doesn t conflict with family, school, and/or social life. Mentors
are usually provided for: troubled teens, young children with busy parents that work, children or teens
with special needs such as Autism or ADHD, or anyone under or over the age of 18 who needs to have

There are many benefits that could be useful for young adults to have a mentor, according to Blue Sky

is very beneficial because whether you have a career mentor as an employee or a child development

then you would go on your own. This skill is something you can t get from just anyone, they have to

Industrialization During The Late Abraham Lincoln
America is the great exception where people can be born of humble origins and rise to the top to
become the next Abraham Lincoln (Pettengill). However, in the Early Republic things began to
change and industrialization created a huge gap between the rich and the poor and made it hard to rise
to the top. Industrialization changed America from an agricultural country to one based on
manufacturing goods and services. This change created advancement and expansion for the nation as a
whole. Industrialization was very helpful to the economy but was an impediment for the working
class, like Sam Patch. In the book, Sam Patch by Paul E. Johnson, it is evident how industrialization
restricted the freedom of the working class and increased the great divide between the rich and the
poor.
The industrial revolution limited the amount of jobs available and created many unskilled labor jobs.
Free labor economy made it possible for skilled workers to make money by independently selling their
products. Industrial engineers found a way to build machines that were faster, more powerful, more
efficient and more reliable than the human muscle. As seen in The American System of
Manufacturers, Joseph Whitworth stated, the laboring class are comparatively few in number, but this
is counter balanced by, and indeed may be regarded as one of the chief causes of, the eagerness with
which they call in the aid of machinery in almost every department of industry (Whitworth 226) This

The passage of Prop 140 in 1990 had unintended consequences for the legislator. Not only did Prop
140 implement term limits to increase turnover in the legislation, but it also reduced funding. The
reduction in funding led to the closure of bi partisan resources, such as the Assembly Office of
Research. The combination of legislators with less experience due to the term limits, and lack of
resources as result of the budget cuts, has dramatically weakened the effectivity of the legislator.
Consequently, the vacuum created by prop 140 has been filled by lobbyist and the Governor. Recent
studies illustrate a significant drop in declines made by the legislator to the Governor s budget since
the implementation of term limits (Kousser). Although Proposition 2 does not directly fix the
unintended consequences of Prop 140, it mitigates some of the negative effects, bringing more balance
between the two branches. Due to the shortcomings of Proposition 58, the governor has much
discretion in handling California debt, whereas Prop 2 calls for a mandatory 1.5% of the budget.
Additionally, Proposition 2 mandates that scheduled fund transfers can only be repealed if the
Governor calls a state of emergency and gains approval of the legislator. Requiring approval of the
legislators not only empowers legislators attempting to cope the debt crisis, but also prevents a

Although imperialism was mostly negative fro Africans, they did receive some benefits. One positive

do not send us away from you (Rand 82 83). Liberty sees Equality differently than everyone else and
has great reverence for him. She does not see him as a crazy man, as a disobedient man, nor as a
criminal; she sees him as a man who is not to stand up for what he believes in. Liberty would much
rather live a life with him, alone in the Uncharted Forest, and be breaking the rules than stay in the
society and live a simple life without Equality. This impacts Equality and his identity in more ways
than one. When all is said and done, Equality s relationship with Liberty dramatically shaped his

Internet Protocol Is The Primary Protocol
1.Introduction:
Internet Protocol is the primary protocol in the internet layer of the OSI networking model. IP s job is
to deliver packets from a source computer to a destination computer. As of May 2015, about 97% of
web traffic uses IPv4. IPv6 is a 128 bit address. IPV6 is the standard fundamental infrastructure to the
internet addressing. It helps us to simplify the transition from ipv4 to ipv6. Mainly ipv6 helps us in
TCPIP networking and addressing architecture.
The present variant of the Internet convention (IP) is getting to be old as a result of its constrained
location space, absence of required usefulness and insufficient security highlights. The upcoming era
of IP, called IPv6, has now been institutionalized and will convey TCP/IP systems and applications
well into the following century. (Stallings.w , 1996).
Yes I agreed that IPv6 is implemented in the contemporary world. Still some researches and
improvements are going on to fix the problems. In the coming generation we replace IPv4 completely.
IPv6 have more advantages then IPv4 protocol. The world needs more public IP s in the future, IPv4
can t solve this issue. IPv6 is 128bit address which has enough addresses that next generation works.
What is IPv6: According to (Vangie Beal, 2014) IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) is additionally
called IPNG (Internet Protocol Next Generation) and it is the newest form of the Internet Protocol (IP)
IETF standards committee to replace the present version IPv4.

Essay On The Sequencing Of The Human Genome
The sequencing of the human genome involves the vision of an advanced medical science and
academic research. Nowadays, genetic databases are making a loud noise to easily determine the
relationships between lifestyle, environmental exposures, and genetic diseases. These databases large
lean on collective data in contribution to genetic information and research materials that deal with the
genetic cases of diseases. For the reason that genetic databank has a great potential of massive profit
and technologic advancements that could improve our understanding of a range of diseases, private
companies seek to get access to these genetic databanks of patients. However, this research can only
proceed with consideration of the ethical, legal and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ethical principles for the prospective use of human genetic material and data have been introduced in
several European countries. The British Clinical Genetics Society and the Danish Council of Ethics
said that the quality assurance of these tissues in the biobanks are assured in the governing rules of the
regional bodies but solely depend on the boards of each institution. One of the examples in the Data
Surveillance Authority in Denmark which has the sovereignty over its genetic banks which was
created in 1996. The Health Council of the Netherlands publicly announced the recommendation that
human material cannot be stored without a good reason (1994). In 1996, France authorized that no
institution nor any person could get samples with the motivation that has a collection of human
genome or use and in a way, the samples taken if they have not informed the legal authority in
concerned thereof . On the other note, the very arising issue in the economic factor of the storage and
collection of there biobanks has been opened up with only a few talks and did not receive much of an
importance in general . Recently, numbers of recent charitable trusts turns the focus on the economic
and political aspects that should be considered in connection to issues that are mainly associated to
this like ethical, legal and social factors. According to several researchers, there is no objective

Summary Of Tim O Brien s The Things They Carried
The short story The Things They Carried , written by Tim O Brien, is a story written in 1986 in the
setting of the Vietnam War. The main character, First Lieutenant Jimmy Cross, is a young man who
struggles with the battle of love while being away at war. Cross leads his men with the thought of
Martha, the woman he loves, in the back of his head at nearly all times, which distracts him from the
true harshness of the war. The list of the things the soldiers carry in O Brien s short story tell us what
tangibles the men carry with them that are necessities for the battles, but they also carry intangibles
with them such as the letters, and the dope to help comfort them in a time of fear. These possessions
express the character of the men in the squad. All of the men in the squad carry something with them
whether it is tangible or intangible that defines who they are. These things that the soldiers carry with
them are not only items strapped on their shoulders but they are now a part of who they are during this
period of time in their lives. During the war the soldiers would carry things other than weapons. This
included carrying things out of necessity: because the object might provide some measure of safety or
security and also it might comfort them in time of great fear. (Wells 1) In ... Show more content on

real the death seemed to be. As Lavender was going to the woods Cross was having a day dream about

him from leaving the group. This minor mistake made by Cross is the difference between life and

Pros And Cons Of The Ontario Sex-Education Curriculum
Recently there has been a lot of debate about the new sexual education curriculum being taught to
children from a younger age and how it will affect them. Some people say that children are too young
to be learning this information and then how they use it will be in a negative manner. What frightens
most parents is that they can raise their children as they wish, but have very little control over what
other people do with their children (Wolfe, D. A. 2015, February 28).The Ontario sex education
curriculum is an necessary step to address the fears of parents that their children could be victimized,
harmed, or take part in behaviours that carry significant risk but the new curriculum is quite different
from the older version because it is more explicit, it also is going against catholic school ... Show

Benjamin Levin (Ontario s Radical Sex Ed Curriculum).
The new curriculum that began in September of 2015 differentiates from the older version that was
introduced in 2010 which was shelved in 3 days after publically being shared. Both the one
documented in 2010 and 2015 are age inappropriate teachings. The difference is that Kathleen Wynne
has made the curriculum more explicit and more age inappropriate than before, and also increasing the
mentions of the Gender Identity theory, sexual identities and orientations (Rage, G. 2015, August 07).
Another explicit thing being taught in the new curriculum would be anal intercourse. It is being
presented in a way that students will interpret it as carrying no risk for STIs than vaginal intercourse,
this is misleading because it carries 3000% of a higher risk for contracting HIV in an individual. The
curriculum downplays the seriousness of contracting HIV, leaving the

  • 2. Water Temperature And Salinity What is Temperature and Salinity, what even is Seawater. Well you came to the right spot. Temperature is a measurement of the average heat or thermal energy of the particles in a substance.1 Seawater is water that of course comes from an ocean or sea. Now Salinity is the total number of salt dissolved in water.2 Temperature is a major determining factor of global climate patterns. It affects the life cycles of plants and animals, influences weather and tides, and controls the freeze and thaw of the polar ice caps. A small change in average temperature can have powerful effects on the environment worldwide. Salinity helps us understand the health of a water body, and what animal and plant species we expect to find (or not find) there.3 Some animals tolerate changes in salinity well, and are found in both freshwater and salt water (eels, alewives, invasive Chinese Mitten Crabs). Others are healthy only when living within a certain range of salinity (oysters). Oceans are4 the lifeblood of planet Earth and humankind. They flow over nearly three quarters of our planet, and hold 97% of the planet s water. They produce more than half of the oxygen in the atmosphere, and absorb the most carbon from it. The temperature of seawater varies with the amount of sun that hits that area. This includes the angles of the sun rays. Depending on how much sunlight hits a certain spot the temperature changes because the more sunlight a spot might get, the more the temperature will increase due ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Personal Narrative-Home In High School The Lab The cool, brisk wind blew against the two story, brick walled office and, the smell of Fall, containing the smell of orange, ripe pumpkin, surrounded the air. Dry, Fall colored leaves from the two hazel birch trees, rooted in the front lawn, funneled down to the lower, empty parking lot of the property; the work week ended. Surprisingly, the cloudy, gloomy Saturday afternoon contained many fun activities for my Dad, Annie, and I.1 Annie, my blonde, blue eyed, older sister and I would hop into our Dad s black Infiniti. My tall, brown haired Dad would drive us to his lab. His dental office, Ordont, housed the activities of creating dental appliances, ranging from invisible retainers to braces and resided off Smizer Station road in Fenton, Missouri. When we reached the parking lot, Annie and I would leap out of the car and skip down the cracked cement path to the wooden, chestnut door, waiting for our Dad to unlock the entrance. By outsourcing to highly specialized components producers in the Emilian district Ducati could focus on the key value adders such as design, R D, the production of strategic parts and quality control. Ducati was very selective and placed great emphasis on the quality of its suppliers, so its number of suppliers decreased from 200 to 130. It typically identified at least 2 suppliers for each component and signed only short term contracts with them. This provided Ducati with a pool of highly competitive and dedicated suppliers. A big factor in the efficiency of the production process was the platform approach to production. Ducati would divide motorcycles into a small number of large components which would consist of smaller subcomponents. They were also breaches of international humanitarian law, as formulated at Nuremberg and elsewhere. The Genocide Convention is specifically designed to cover crimes against groups, as opposed to crimes against humanity which do not necessarily involve offenses against or persecutions of groups. But the Convention also limits the crime of genocide to actions occurring between states. Under the tribunal s mandate, however, ethnic persecution is treated as an international crime even if it has occurred within a single state. This is a considerable expansion of international law, yet, through it, ICTFY exemplifies a new understanding of accountability that makes heinous and systematic rights violations an international matter. Montresor carries out each detail while he smiles in the face of his victim. Montresor doesn t smile at the thought of Fortunato s immolation because of his viciousness. Montresor smiles because the sacrifice of Fortunato he believes brings him a great reward. Fortunato is merely a symbolic character of a despised self in the unconscious of Montresor (Sweet Jr. 332). • 20. Imperialism In Philippines 170140076 Natasha Schottland H Modern World History December 22, 2016 Imperialism in the Philippines For over 400 years, the Philippines has been imperialized by the Spanish and the U.S. in order to gain more power. Under their control, there have been many changes to culture, tradition, religion, and language due to heavy influence from both countries. Imperialism is a policy where a country extends its power by conquering other territories through diplomatic or military power. Imperialism is heavily driven by the rise of industry and the need for raw materials to manufacture new firearms and consumer goods. The Spanish treated the Filipinos ruthlessly, forcing taxes, labor, and seizing crops and livestock without proper compensation. The U.S. imperialization caused English to become one of the Philippines main languages, hospitals, schools, and railroad systems were established, and present day Philippine government shares similarities to U.S. government. Section 1 First colonized by the Spanish in 1521, the U.S. never had official control of the Philippines until 1899, when the U.S. won the Spanish American war. Eventually, the U.S. acquired the Philippines through the Treaty of Paris, where it states that Spain s control of the Philippine Islands will be transferred to the United States for $20,000,000. The Filipinos first viewed the conflict between Spain and the U.S. as the perfect time to break away from Spanish rule and secure an alliance with the U.S. The U.S. ... In, 2012, shortly after Stuxnet, the Russians discovered a virus, later named Flame, which had been extracting and dumping all data from Russian computers. The article, Flame: Massive cyber attack discovered, researchers say by Dave Lee explains, Once a system is infected, Flame begins a complex set of operations, including sniffing the network traffic, taking screenshots, recording audio conversations, intercepting the keyboard, and so on (Lee). This usage of computer worms demonstrates the versatility of cyberwarfare. Not only can computer worms target specific factories and agencies, they can also be used to collect data secretly from other countries. In this passage, the author says Flame has been taking screenshots, recording audio conversations, [and] intercepting the keyboard. Imagine if the U.S. was attacked by Flame. Industrialization During The Late Abraham Lincoln America is the great exception where people can be born of humble origins and rise to the top to become the next Abraham Lincoln (Pettengill). However, in the Early Republic things began to change and industrialization created a huge gap between the rich and the poor and made it hard to rise to the top. Industrialization changed America from an agricultural country to one based on manufacturing goods and services. This change created advancement and expansion for the nation as a whole. Industrialization was very helpful to the economy but was an impediment for the working class, like Sam Patch. In the book, Sam Patch by Paul E. Johnson, it is evident how industrialization restricted the freedom of the working class and increased the great divide between the rich and the poor. The industrial revolution limited the amount of jobs available and created many unskilled labor jobs. Free labor economy made it possible for skilled workers to make money by independently selling their products. Industrial engineers found a way to build machines that were faster, more powerful, more efficient and more reliable than the human muscle. As seen in The American System of Manufacturers, Joseph Whitworth stated, the laboring class are comparatively few in number, but this is counter balanced by, and indeed may be regarded as one of the chief causes of, the eagerness with which they call in the aid of machinery in almost every department of industry (Whitworth 226) This machinery slowly ... Not only did Prop 140 implement term limits to increase turnover in the legislation, but it also reduced funding. The reduction in funding led to the closure of bi partisan resources, such as the Assembly Office of Research. The combination of legislators with less experience due to the term limits, and lack of resources as result of the budget cuts, has dramatically weakened the effectivity of the legislator. Consequently, the vacuum created by prop 140 has been filled by lobbyist and the Governor. Recent studies illustrate a significant drop in declines made by the legislator to the Governor s budget since the implementation of term limits (Kousser). Although Proposition 2 does not directly fix the unintended consequences of Prop 140, it mitigates some of the negative effects, bringing more balance between the two branches. • 38. Equality s Identity In Anthem, By Ayn Rand James Baldwin once said, An identity would seem to be arrived at by the way in which the person faces and used his experience. Baldwin is saying that a person s identity, or what makes a person who they are, is shaped by what they have experienced. In Anthem by Ayn Rand, Equality s identity is described as a confident person who is not afraid to stand up for what he believes. He was not afraid to take a stand, break away from the society, and live life outside of it so he could keep and use his light box. Equality did not want to be chained to the limits of the society anymore. When Equality runs to the Uncharted Forest to save his invention, Liberty stays in the society only to discover that she misses Equality and covets and yearns to be with him. She ends up going to the Uncharted Forest to find Equality. When she sees the man she loves in the forest, she is beyond happy that she is with him and not the other citizens in the society. Liberty says to him, Your eyes are as a flame, but our brothers have neither hope nor fire. Your mouth is cut of granite, but our brothers are soft and humble. Your head is high, but our brothers cringe. You walk, but our brothers crawl. We wish to be damned with you, rather than blessed with all our brothers. Do as you please with us, but do not send us away from you (Rand 82 83). Liberty sees Equality differently than everyone else and has great reverence for him. She does not see him as a crazy man, as a disobedient man, nor as a criminal; she sees him as a man who is not to stand up for what he believes in. Liberty would much rather live a life with him, alone in the Uncharted Forest, and be breaking the rules than stay in the society and live a simple life without Equality. This impacts Equality and his identity in more ways than one. When all is said and done, Equality s relationship with Liberty dramatically shaped his courageous ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The difference is that Kathleen Wynne has made the curriculum more explicit and more age inappropriate than before, and also increasing the mentions of the Gender Identity theory, sexual identities and orientations (Rage, G. 2015, August 07). Another explicit thing being taught in the new curriculum would be anal intercourse.
