This is a part of final year engineering project
Existing model uses structured data to predict the patients of either high risk or low risk.
But for a complex disease, structured data is not a good way to describe the disease.
We propose a new convolutional neural network (CNN)-based multimodal disease risk prediction algorithm using structured and unstructured data from hospital.
In this paper, we mainly focus on the risk prediction of cerebral infarction.

Stock market prediction is a typical task to forecast the upcoming stock values. It is very difficult to forecast because of unbalanced nature of stocks. In this work, an attempt is made for prediction of stock market trend. This research aims to combine multiple existing techniques into a much more robust prediction model which can handle various scenarios in which investment can be beneficial. By combing both techniques, this prediction model can provide more accurate and flexible recommendations. However instead of using those traditional methods, we approached the problems using machine learning techniques. We tried to revolutionize the way people address data processing problems in stock market by predicting the behavior of the stocks. In fact, if we can predict how the stock will behave in the short term future we can queue up our transactions earlier and be faster than everyone else. In theory, this allows us to maximize our profit without having the need to be physically located close to the data sources. We examined three main models. Firstly we used a complete prediction using a moving average. Secondly we used a LSTM model and finally a model called ARIMA model. The only motive is to increase the accuracy of predictive the stock market price. Each of those models was applied on real stock market data and checked whether it could return profit. The edge computing market today includes consumer apps and devices, and the industrial sector, where increasingly powerful CPUs drive everything from wind turbines to autonomous vehicles, robots, drones and equipment. The device market is growing explosively:
These devices gather a wealth of data from a broad array of sensors – and have the potential to optimize efficiency, safety and performance, and revolutionize productivity and user experiences. But to deliver these benefits they need to become truly smart, performing analysis, training and inference on high volumes of sensor data on-the-fly.
There is an urgent need for software that simplifies and automates data analysis and inference at the edge, helping devices and systems learn from and make predictions about their environment: Cameras that recognize and track their targets; self-driving cars that choose the least congested routes using real- time predictions for intersections ahead; and drones that dynamically swarm, find their targets and gather intelligence without human oversight.
These examples require each device to make decisions based on a real-time analysis of its own sensor data fused with the analysis and predictions from other systems: Drones in a swarm need to collaborate or they will collide; they must gossip their insights to each other to enable the swarm to perform effectively. Today, the software to enable each of these complex scenarios must be developed from scratch, starting with raw data feeds and network protocols. To unlock the potential of an edge environment rich in sensors and power-efficient computing platforms developers need a simple way to get from vast amounts of raw data to insights and predictions.
What's needed is a new Architecture for the intelligent edge – one that consumes raw data from devices at the edge, and automatically creates a “digital twin” for each real-world system from its data. Digital twins statefully process their own data at the edge, analyzing, learning and predicting in real-time. Digital twins can find anomalies or correlations in their own data, and self-train powerful neural network models that enable them to predict their future performance, then share semantically enriched insights with other digital twins to solve system problems. The architecture helps application developers by dynamically creating digital twins that learn from their own data – automatically building a model of the real world that is always up to date, executes in real-time, and makes accurate predictions of the behavior of complex systems.

Since its launch in mid-January, the Data Science Bowl Lung Cancer Detection Competition has attracted more than 1,000 submissions. To be successful in this competition, data scientists need to be able to get started quickly and make rapid iterative changes. In this talk, we show how to compute features of the scanned images in the competition with a pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with Cognitive Toolkit (previously named CNTK), and use these features to classify the scans into cancerous or not cancerous, using a boosted tree with Light-GBM library, all in one hour.

A Study on Credit Card Fraud Detection using Machine Learningijtsrd
Due to the high level of growth in each number of transactions done using credit card has led to high rise in fraudulent activities. Fraud is one of the major issues related to credit card business, since each individual do more of offline or online purchase of product via internet there is need to developed a secured approach of detecting if the credit card been used is a fraudulent transaction or not. Pattern involves in the fraud detection has to be re analyze to change from reactive approach to a proactive approach. In this paper, our objectives are to detect at least 95 of fraudulent activities using machine learning to deployed anomaly detection system such as logistic regression, k nearest neighbor and support vector machine algorithm. Credit card plays a very vital role in todays economy and the usage of credit cards has dramatically increased. Credit card has become one of the most common method of payment for both online and offline as well as for regular purchases of a common man. It is very necessary to distinguish fraudulent credit card transactions by the credit card organizations so their clients are not charged for the purchases that they didn’t make. Despite the fact that using credit card gives huge benefits when used responsibly carefully and however significant credit and financial damages could be caused by fraudulent activities as well. Numerous methods have been proposed to stop these fraudulent activities. The project illustrates the model of a dataset to predict fraud transactions using machine learning. The model then detects if it is a fraudulent or a genuine transaction. The model also analyses and pre processes the dataset along with deployment of multiple anomaly detection using algorithms such as Local forest outlier and Isolation forest. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.

CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.

There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.
