Topping dance , was an article written by Trisha Brown and La Ribot during mid march of 2003. Trish
Brown performed at the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia, an event titled It s a
Darw/Live Feed. This performance was a collaboration with the Department of Modern and
Contemporary Art of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Brown s performance was a hybrid of
improvised dance and automatic drawing that would be witnessed live by an audience placed in a
separate space in the museum, where they could watch a live video feed. Reading this article, I found

To keep track of both one must look up and down and sideways simultaneously. While Trisha Brown
is dancing the gaze and attention is produced within an excessively parergonic space. When reading
this part of the article, I related this to how dancers use projection or text while also dancing and
performing on stage. Depending on the performance and the use other art techniques, the specific
work could get distracting. When putting dance and projection together, making sure the performance

year? Why did they offer us up to Russians first, instead of just putting us out on the registry? Why
couldn t my family look at the registry? Why did my parents feel the need to bribe the judge?

considered children, orphans, as the perfect building blocks of Soviet citizenships. There was no

Romeo and Juliet, a story about pain and sorrow. A story with ups and downs. Is that why it entertains
us? Do we like to hear about pain and misery and the out come of it, good or bad? Authors have used
these stories since Shakespeare and Logic. Logic is an outlier because of the way he was raised. He
has seen people he loves die and raped in front of him, hated by his mother enough to where she tried
to kill him multiple times and how he got out of it. How he struggled without a high school diploma,
the people he met and how they changed his life.
In Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, Maryland 7:36 A.M., where a biracial baby was born to a black
father and white mother ( Take it Back, Logic) Sir Robert Bryson Hall II was born. His mother was a
racist who would beat him and constantly talk down to him, even trying to kill him one time. His
father was out of the picture most of his life doing drugs that he got from his sons (Logic s Brothers)
who were Drug dealers and killers. He watched his sisters get raped and wasn t able to do anything. It
was going down hill until 14 year old Robert met his mentor Solomon. He showed Robert life outside
the ghetto and got him interested into rap, even encouraged him to perform.
When Logic turned 17 he got expelled from high school and moved out of his house. He had to
maintain two jobs to support him and his rap career. While not much he would perform for Pitbull and
Ludacris when they came in town. Trying to do both was working for a while but eventually he couldn
t keep up with rent and ended up being homeless He struggled to live and rap until he met his investor

that was Logic and would fund him, he d give him a year to make it. So Robert did it, he released his
first album Young, Broke, Infamous . Because of how much recognition he made, he released the 1st
(out of a trilogy) Young Sinatra. Later he d release the 2nd and 3rd Young Sinatras. Lil Dicky is a
rapper who jokes when he raps. While he can make a good beat and a sick rap it s not the same as a

Malcolm X declares that if it is right for America to draft us and teach us how to be violent in defense

equality. That is that our minds seem to support and defend our own reasoning and actions, whether
they are right or wrong. We have to learn how to admit being wrong. I simply can t believe that people

feeling that he wouldn t want to be that old (495). Additionally, the young waiter selfishly feels that
the old drunk should have killed [himself] last week (494) simply because he doesn t want to waste his
time dealing with him. Like most young people, the young waiter is a short term thinker, and he has
not even thought of the possibility of death; Hemingway implies that the drunken old man and the
older waiter were once youthful existentialists, but naturally grew nihilist over time. More

everyone will disintegrate into complete and utter nothingness.
The older waiter, a more understanding and seasoned man, has lost his youth and is beginning to
realize that the obliteration of his existence is approaching. He claims that he is the type of person who
[likes] to stay late at the café (496), meaning that he requires a place of order and cleanliness just to
take his mind off of death, and the idea of nothingness. These thoughts translate into the way he treats
the old drunken man; he lets the old man lurk around the café because he needs a light for the night

In Australia and America, gun control laws are very different, therefore, the populations of the two
countries have different mindsets regarding gun control and violence. America s gun control laws are
based on history while Australia is more open to changing their laws. Because America s gun control
laws are stated in the Bill of Rights, the government is more reluctant to change them. Therefore, gun
violence is more prevalent in the United States due to the higher prevalence of guns in general.
However, Australia has altered its gun control laws as a result of a mass shooting and has not had any
ever since. In America, gun control laws allow citizens to easily gain access to firearms. Because
firearms are so prevalent, mass shootings are common as well. Other things that are results of lenient
gun control laws are increased suicide rate, homicide, and injuries and deaths due to accidentally
mishandled firearms (Miller, Hemenway, 2008; Azrael, Hemenway, Miller, 2000; Annest, Hargarten,
Hootman, Mercy, Ryan, 2000). 53% of all completed suicides were committed with a firearm. Gun
suicide in America during this time accounted 40% more deaths than gun homicide (Miller,
Hemenway, 2008). According to CNN, the current deadliest mass shooting in America is the shooting
by Stephen Paddock at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. 58 people were killed and
almost 500 were injured. Also, there are certain groups in America that are moreso affected by
American gun control laws. In most events involving firearms, minorities, such of African Americans
and those of Latin descent, have been targets. These lenient gun control laws have also led to more
terrorist attacks as well as an increased rate of police brutality. The main reason America is so
