• We’re in a digital era. M-Learning really fits into the lives
of the learners of the digital age.
• M-learning is convenient to be accessible from virtually
anywhere.
• M-learning also brings strong portability by replacing
heavy books and notes with small devices
• Learning can be done both inside and outside of the
classroom.
Technologies
• The recent advances in mobile technology are
changing the primary purpose of mobile devices
from making or receiving calls to retrieving the
latest information on any subject.
• M-learning focuses on the mobility of the learner,
interacting with portable technologies.
• Handheld computers, MP3 players, mobile phones
and tablets

• Through communication applications,
interactive displays, and video features, it can
enhance group collaboration among students.
• Mobile device features with WIFI capabilities

Do you need a LMS to implement it?
• Not necessarily because M-Learning is ideal for blended
learning.
• M-Learning doesn’t mean you have to be online. It’s like an
added advantage for the learning process.
• As it is more into learner centered framework, subject
content/material can be given prior with a schedule.
• Teacher-Learner interaction can be done very easily with
communication modes supported by mobile devices.
