M-learning, or mobile learning, is defined as learning across contexts using personal electronic devices. It is a form of distance education where learners can access educational content using mobile devices like phones and tablets at their convenience. M-learning facilitates online interaction between instructors and students and allows blended learning to take place outside traditional classrooms. While m-learning provides benefits like easy access to information, engagement of learners, and self-paced learning, it also faces challenges such as limited screen sizes, connectivity issues, and potential distraction of learners.

TEACHING AND LEARNING WITH ICT TOOLS: ISSUES AND CHALLENGESIJCI JOURNAL
The students nowadays are more friendly with tech devices. So, to make it less boring need to start
innovative ways that involve technology. Teaching via ICT tools have the potential to make a change in the
academic sector. It is a dynamic learning method. It provides more benefits as compared to the traditional
blackboard and chalks learning. The whole process of education can sometimes feel tedious for students. In
this digital era, ICT use in the classroom is important for giving students opportunities to learn and apply
the required 21st century skills. Hence studying the issues and challenges related to ICT use in teaching
and learning can assist teachers in overcoming the obstacles and become successful technology users. With
the advent of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in education, teachers form their own
beliefs about the role of ICT as a teaching tool, the value of ICT for student learning outcomes and their
own personal confidence and competency. Barriers exist in integrating ICT in teaching and learning. The
barriers are extrinsic to the teacher and include lack of resources, time, access and technical support.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

17. Useful in distance education.
Facilitate online interaction between instructor
and student and student to students.
Blended learning takes the classroom out of a
traditional brick-and-mortar setting.
Dr.C.Thanavathi
18. It is important to bring new technology into the
classroom.
Devices used are more lightweight than books and
PCs.
Mobile learning can be used to diversify the types of
learning activities students partake in.
Mobile learning supports the learning process rather
than being integral to it.
Mobile learning can be a useful add-on tool for
students with special needs. However, for SMS and
MMS this might be dependent on the students specific
disabilities or difficulties involved.
Mobile learning can be used as a ‘hook’ to re-engage
disaffected youth.
Dr.C.Thanavathi
19. Relatively inexpensive opportunities, as the
cost of mobile devices are significantly less
than PCs and laptops.
Multimedia content delivery and creation
options.
Continuous and situated learning support.
Decrease in training costs.
Potentially a more rewarding learning
experience.

information
No restriction of learning timetable
Personal and private information and content
No demographic boundary
Disruption of students personal and academic
lives
Access to and use of the technology in
developing countries
Risk of distraction
Dr.C.Thanavathi
25. Connectivity: There may be some connectivity
problems while uploading of data and because
of poor mobile network signals.
Screen size: As the screen size is too small, it can
strain the eyes of the learner if they use it for
long period of time.
Device: Learner must possess the mobile device
that is supporting the courseware and this
device may be expensive.
Distraction: While accessing the course through
mobiles, if the learner gets a call or SMS or social
media updates, then they are bound to get
distracted. Dr.C.Thanavathi
