The thesis focuses on designing and fabricating an inset-fed rectangular microstrip patch antenna, analyzing the effects of its dimensions and substrate parameters on radiation characteristics like bandwidth and beam-width. The design is based on a frequency of operation at 3.3 GHz and features a substrate with a dielectric constant of 2.94 and thickness of 1.6 mm. Simulated results show an operation at 2.2 GHz with a gain of 3.49 dB, aligning closely with measured outcomes.
