• Fish balls look like meat balls but made of fish
• You can eat it in soup or fried
• It is delicious dipped in soy sauce

4. Char Siu
• This is a Chinese roasted marinaded
meat, usually a pork
• It is coloured red at the edges
• It is normally eaten with rice or noodles, with
vegetables like Chinese leaves
5. satay
• This is a national favourite dish of Malaysia
• It is mainly meat on a bamboo stick
barbequed in flames
• You can dip it in a peanut sauce
• It is eaten with cucumber and onions
6. popiah
• Popiah is a Malaysian spring roll
• It is filled with vegetables, prawns and tofu
• You can eat just like that or with chilies
• It can be eaten at anytime of the day, even for
breakfast!
