Purpose of water transport

 To shoot ships
 To transport cargo
Types of water transport

 Speed boat
 Swimming
 Lifeboat
 Canoe
 Water taxi
 Sea-plane
 Surfing
 Pirate ship
 Sailing boat
 Submarine
 Viking ship
 Water skiing

Some water transport facts
 Water transport has been round for thousands of years.
 The first types of water transport were small types of
canoes cut out of tree trunks.
 Earlier boats and ships relied on people rowing them
and using wind to move.
 There are more than 3 million ship wrecks on the
bottom of the ocean
 Ships now have to be much quicker to compete with
faster types of transport
My experience of water transport:
Seabus, Vancouver
 Takes people between Waterfront and Lonsdale Quay.
 It is fun on the seabus because you get to see the sea
airplane and helicopter.
 At Lonsdale Quay we have food and play crazy golf.
 We get the bus from Lonsdale Quay to Grouse
Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge all because
of the Seabus.
