I have about 08 years' experience working in the Oil & Gas industry. I was a mechanical design engineer at
GE Oil & Gas, where I handled the top performing design and technology. Before that, I worked at a
mechanical engineer at PetroVietnam, where I was in charge of multiple roles from survey, design, bidding,
installation, commissioning and field service for Oil & Gas clients. Here are my abilities:

The Drilling Rig 90m water depth consists of three (3) legs 143m length, 12.000MT.
I was responsible for the following activities:
- Design & supervision of fabrication of 06 pressure cement/barite storage tanks, air receivers: detail
drawings, BOM, fabrication-assembly-installation processes (marking, cutting, fit-ups, welding, NDT,
hydro test).
- Supervise of fabrication structural steel structures, rotating machineries, pipe support, pressure vessel,
high pressure pipe lines to low temperature service pipe lines.
- Supervise of installation of high/low pressure pumps, compressors, BOP, Choke/Kill manifolds, pressure
vessels, P-tanks, draw-works, derrick, CTU, HPU, hoisting equipment, heat exchangers.
- Procedures preparation and supervision of commissioning of drilling system, mud circulation system,
bulk handling system.
- Check OS&D, FAT.
- Offshore assignment to maintenance and troubleshooting for equipment.
- Ensure the construction works are complied with Company’s QHSE Policy and Regulations.

Liftboat H7060A Leg joining and installation, Vietnam
The project is part of the contract between PetroVietnam Supply Base (PVSB) and Sai Gon Offshore
Fabrication and Engineering Ltd. PV-Shipyard, as subcontractor to PVSB, provides package service of
manpower, calculation and heavy lift fleets including Crawler Cranes Terex Demag 1250T to join and erect
3 legs into the existing 3 legs of “Lekwek Lifter” vessel whose owner is Ezion Holdings (Singapore).
I was responsible for the following activities:
- Update drawings & documents.
- Preparing the reports and weekly submitted to the client.
- Attend to any site problems associated with project and suggest solutions/alternatives for the client’
approval.
- Issue site Queries, follow up, and close out.
- Supervision of legs fabrication involving welding of carbon steel, stabilized grade stainless steel, chrome
- molybdenum alloy steel pipes with MMA and TIG welding, inspections, pre & post heat treatment, non-
destructive testing, stress-relieve, hardness test on welded joints and hydro- test etc of pipe lines
conforming to ASME B 31.1, ASME B 31.3 and ASTM Section II, Section V, Section VIII, Section IX,
and ANSI code, hot and cold insulations etc and subsequent start-up of the plant.
Repair of jack-up "PVD III", Vietnam
PVD III is a Jack-up rig with model Keppel FELS KFELS B Class, owned by PetroVietnam Drilling
Company (PVD) and was delivered to PVD in December 31st, 2009.
In July 27, 2012 PetroVietnam Marine Shipyard JS Company (PV Shipyard) has received PVD III drilling rig
for an urgent repair.
I was responsible for the following activities:
- Inspect rigging procedures to ensure safety and reliability.
- Create pipe fittings, perform cutting, threading, and joining of piping components.
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
- Ensure the construction works are comply with Company’s QHSE Policy and Regulations.

Repair services of Murmanskaya Jack Up Rig for Russian Client, Vietnam
On 05 July 2013, PV Shipyard received Murmanskaya Jack-Up Rig owned by Arktikmorneftegazrazvedka
(AMNGR) to complete major works such as installation & commissioning of two Deck Cranes &
Submersible Pump Water Tower, Reinforcement and Renew of Steel Work, Painting approx 20,000 m2
and providing other general port services as well.
I was responsible for the following activities:
- Develop bid document consist of scope of work, technical specifications to buy new equipment.
- Supervise of installation & commissioning of two Deck Cranes & Submersible Pump Water Tower.
- Ensure the construction works are complied with Company’s QHSE Policy and Regulations.
- Weekly report to construction manager & project manager.
- Identify basic safety and rigging practices.
- Identify pumps, drivers, valves, and their installation and troubleshooting practices.
- Remove, troubleshoot, and install bearings and couplings.
