Duties (Per Project)
I- ENPPI Polyethylene Project
1- Supervision and follow up of the installation, Lifting and maintenance of stationary
equipment (vessels, towers, Heat -exchangers, skids.. etc.).
2- Studying the vendor drawings and preparing drawings for fabrication.
3- Supervising the contractor and giving technical support so they can do the job
according to project specifications and standards.
4- Preparation and checking all equipment’s which ready to install (inspection, packing
list, Material Issue Voucher (MIV), accessories…etc.).
5- Distribute required daily activities on contractor engineers, Mechanical Supervisors,
workers foremen and technicians and determine the priorities and daily/weekly
targets for them.
6- Facilitate all job requirements for workers to do their work (Man lift, Forklift,
Cranes, Welding Machines, Hand Tools.. etc).
7- Supervision and follow up of the installation, Lifting and maintenance in
accordance of project mechanical DWG of the following :
Overhead cranes, Hoists and chain blocks.
Load Cell for Vessels, Silos and purge bin.
Internal parts, mish for trays and grating for purification vessels.
Hydraulic snubbers for product chamber.
Sanitary tank.
Agitator pump.
Air volume skid.

8- Supervision and follow up of the load test and Calibration in accordance of project
specifications and standards of the following :
Overhead cranes, Hoists and chain blocks with 3rd party SGS and the Owner.
Load Cell for Vessels, Silos and purge bin with their Vendor and the Owner.
Truck Scale with their Vendor and the Owner.
Additive Lifts (Elevators) with 3rd party SGS and the Owner.

9- Monitoring the daily construction work activities of contractor and updating
Progress Reports.
10- Making visual inspection for equipment’s and Preparing punch lists.
11- Supervision and follow up the boxing up operation for vessels after clear all punches.
12- Supervision and follow up the leak test operation for vessels after boxing up for all
manholes and nozzle’s.
13- Supervision and follow up the alignment for vessels, tanks and steel structure for
hoists.
14- Supervision and follow up the alignment and balarezm for pumps and compressors.
15- Supervision and follow up the failing of cold box and MS tanks by perlite, dryers
vessels by catalyst and silos by resin.
16- Assisting the pre-commissioning team in clearing all remaining punch items of
equipment’s to obtain Mechanical Completion (MC) by the owner.
17- On systems phase, I start a preliminary punch list then make a walkthrough with the
client rep. to make the official punch list.
18- Once the punch list is made, I distribute it among all disciplines and push them to
finish their punch items.
19- After all punch items are cleared by each discipline, I gather all documents to
complete the system dossier.
20- Excellent knowledge in the development and usage of HSE cases, risk identification
and mitigation techniques.
II- PETROJET Ethylene Project
1- Responsible for supervising an entire area including full study of all piping works and
preparing all relevant documentation (Isometric Drawing, Layout and P&IDs, Plot
Plans, 3D Model, Supports Details.. etc.).
2- Responsible for supervising the Piping erection, Lifting operations and pipe supports
installation in accordance with DWG.
3- Preparation of the team works and guides them to do what’s required according to
project’s specifications and standards.
4- Preparation all material requirements (piping Spools, piping fittings, piping
supports…etc.).
5- Distribute required daily activities on piping foremen, welding foremen, welders and
technicians, and determine the priorities and daily/weekly targets for them.
6- Facilitate all job requirements for workers to do their work (Man lift, Forklift, Cranes,
Welding Machines, Hand Tools.. etc).
7- Performing necessary modifications on site.
8- Excellent knowledge in the development and usage of HSE cases, risk identification and
mitigation techniques.
9- Reporting any problems back to designers to get the appropriate solutions.
10- Arranging with management in case the area requires more manpower to achieve daily
targets based on the open work front.

11- Making productivity daily reports to analyze manpower performances.
12- Monitoring the daily work activities of contractor and updating Progress Reports.
13- Distribute the test packages among piping foremen according to priorities.
14- Following up with and clearing pre-hydro test punch lists (bunch A) to introduce to
ready for hydro test (RHT) .
15- Following up with and clearing the bunch B and to introduce to ready for Reinstatement.
16- Reinstatement for test packages after finishing commissioning activities then making the
walkthrough with the client on piping systems.
17- Finally, closing out all systems punch items.
III- United Group’s All Projects:
1- Responsible for studying the electro-mechanical projects including full study of
tender and drawings.
2- Follow up of the pre-fabrication and erection of all type of piping operations and
pipe supports in accordance of project specifications.
3- Follow up of Installation, Lifting, Erecting ,Commissioning and Maintenance of
the following :
Chillers – Pumps - Cooling towers - Air handling units.
Pump room for Fire Fighting system.
Expansion tanks - Condensate tanks - Blow down tanks.
Heat exchangers - Air ducts in all sizes.
4- Responsible for supervising the Mechanical works for (Plumbing – HVAC - Fire
Fighting).
5- It provides thermal insulation for all kind of pipes, ducts, tanks and heat exchangers.
6- Air balance, water balance and hydro test for HVAC systems.
7- Preparing the shop drawing, Submittal materials, contracts, cost estimation and cash
flow plan.
8- Responsible for supervising the contractor and giving technical support so they can
do the job according to project specifications.
9- Arranging with management in case the site requires more manpower to achieve
daily targets based on the open work front.
10- Preparation of the team works and guides them to do what’s required according to
project’s specifications and standards.
11- Preparation all material requirements (pipes, fittings, steel structure…etc.).
12- Facilitate all job requirements for workers to do their work (Man lift, Forklift,
Cranes, trucks, Welding Machines, Hand Tools.. etc).
13- Distribute required daily activities on piping foremen, mechanical foremen, welding
