2. 1. DAPPS Goal-Setting: This was my favorite assignment in this
course. It helped me realize what I needed to work on to be
successful and improve my habits. It also helped me figure out
how I can figure out what life goals I want to pursue.
2. Metacognition Worksheet: I liked doing the Metacognition
Worksheet as well. Doing this assignment taught me the different
stages of thinking in order to achieve higher scores in my classes.
It gave me deeper insight into the ways I could to improve my
thinking in order to have a deeper thought process.
3. Mid-Course Check: I thought the Mid-Course Check assignment
was beneficial for me. It really helped me see what I was
improving on and what I needed to improve on during the semester
to get the grades I was looking for.
3. 1. My favorite journal was in Chapter 3, where we had to
describe a moment where we have achieved a goal we
wanted to reach. I enjoyed this assignment because it helped
me see what I wanted to do/be with more clarity.
2. My second favorite journal was Journal Entry 23. I liked this
one because it helped me see what I was doing and what I
could do to help my goals (Chapter 3 Journal Entry) become
reality. It helped me figure out how I could fix my
shortcomings.
3. The last journal that I liked doing was Journal Entry 13. I
liked it because it allowed me to see how I was poorly
managing my schedule. It helped me focus on what I could
do or not do to greatly increase the chances of fulfilling my
goals.
4. My favorite module, was easily Module 3.
That was my favorite module because of
the Week 6 Assignments. They really gave
me deep insight into identifying my goals,
validating my goals, and discovering what
I can/should do to help my goals become
reality.
5. 1. A lesson that I learned that will help me the most with
upcoming semesters is the new study habit that I learned
in this class. Since I have figured out the best way to study
for myself I can ensure success in future classes.
2. Another lesson that I learned that is extremely helpful
was about stress. Learning how to deal with it and “get
rid of it” will help me when I stress about assignments,
projects, and presentation for other classes.
3. The last lesson that I believe will impact my success the
most in the future is what I learned about metacognition.
Yes, this kind of ties into studying, but I believe that if I
am able to process information deeper than I have before
I won’t have to study as intensely as before.

My personal responsibility
scores went up the for the
second test taken. I was
very happy to see that
because it assures me that I
have improved myself. It
also gives me more
confidence that I will
achieve my goals in the
future despite what may
try to keep me from
achieving them.
7. What would I have?
When I think of what I might have later in life, I like to
see myself with a house, a truck, a fishing boat, and lots
of land. These are just the material things that I may end
up having, though.
What would I be doing?
I like to think of myself having a career as a State
Trooper for a while, and maybe going into coaching
football when I am a little older.
What would I be?
I will be a State Trooper or a high school football coach.
8. What would I have (priceless)?
I think that if I was to measure my success materially, I would
be selling myself short. I will hopefully one day have a nice
family of my own.
What would I be doing (priceless)?
I see myself being a loving husband to my future wife and a
loving father to our kids. And I think that this is more
important than whatever job/career I may have.
Who would be there?
I believe that my family would be there (mother, father,
brother). And later I see my own family being there (wife,
sons/daughters). I consider these people being there more
important than any material success that I may
achieve/acquire.
