1. Kellye Keitz
Surgical Technician
I am determined, intelligent, and hard working. I am a good role model
for my kids, and they will be the same.
2. 3 Favorite Assignments/Discussions
Letter to the Next ClassThis was my favorite assignment, because I feel like I myself would’ve enjoyed hearing from someone
else whom had already completed this course. I hope that my letter has a good impact on the way someone else views this course. I also
enjoyed sharing my feelings and thought about my experience through this course.
The Stress Discussion This was another one of my favorite assignments, because it opened my eyes to some of the stressors I
have in my life, some of which I bring on myself. This showed me ways to better manage my stress. As well as, made me feel grateful for all
of the things I have.
My Next Move I really enjoyed this assignment and found it interesting because it showed me jobs I hadn’t even considered or known
about. The jobs I matched with are now something I am considering changing the direction I had planned and they sound like something I
would enjoy and be good at.
3. 3 Favorite Journals
Journal Entry 1 was my favorite journal entry because it showed me the way I think about and look at things. It showed me ways and
areas I need improvement. As well as, it showed me some things about myself I am good at that I wasn’t aware of.
Journal Entry 8 was another journal I enjoyed because thinking about my inner critic showed me how I can be my own worst enemy
at times. I was able to list out disputes against my inner critic. By doing this, it has had a positive impact on my life.
Journal Entry 13 I also really enjoyed because I was able to map out my daily activities and see how much time I actually waste on
certain things. Using the 4 quadrant system has helped me prioritize and better organize my and my families weeks.
4. Favorite Week
Week 3 was my favorite week of this course. Writing the journal about my future accomplishments
was exciting for me and a good boost for my morale. I also found the metacognition article very
interesting. It was exciting also, because one of my daughter’s had learned about metacognition
that same week in one of her summer classes. So, talking to a 9 year old and hearing her
thoughts and point of view was interesting.
6. Self-Assessment Beginning to End
This showed me I was lacking in several areas. Most specifically, believing in myself, Self-
awareness, and mastering self-management. I am pleased with my improvement. However, I
know I still have work to be done and improvements to be made.

7. My Next Move
This activity matched me to careers that require
attention to detail, adaptability/flexibility, concern
for others, cooperation, and several other
personality traits I possess. There were 2 careers
that stood out most to me. The first one was an
Informatics Nurse Specialist. This career is for
someone that likes helping people, teaching, and
talking. They apply knowledge of nursing and
inormatics to assist in the desing, development,
and ongoing modification of computerized health
care systems. They may educate staff and assist
in problem solving to promote the implementation
of the healthcare system. This is not a position I
knew anything about, but am now very interesting
in pursuing.
