This lesson plan is for a 45-minute English lesson for 9-10 year olds about expressing daily routines. The teacher will use an alarm clock, toothbrush, and toothpaste to mime daily activities as an icebreaker. Students will then watch a funny video about daily routines and try to make sentences from it. Flashcards with common daily routines will be displayed and taught. For activities, students will compete in teams to hit flashcards with daily routine words first in a "fly swatter game." They will also do an ICT treasure hunt in groups where they use mobile phones or tablets to scan QR codes around the school, answer questions, and be the first to correctly finish.
