This document describes a proposed smart device system for ambulances to help control traffic and prioritize ambulance passage. The system would use an XBee transmitter in the ambulance and XBee receivers at traffic lights. When an ambulance is en route under emergency conditions, it would send its location and patient health data via the XBee. Traffic lights in the ambulance's path would automatically switch to green for that lane when the ambulance comes within range, based on received signal strength indication (RSSI) values, allowing the ambulance to pass without delay. Once passed, the lights would return to normal cycling to resume regular traffic flow. This is intended to help ambulances quickly reach hospitals during emergencies.

Government should take a middle road approach to automated vehicles by neither significantly leading nor lagging community choices. This involves a four-phase national process: 1) understanding community attitudes; 2) developing concurrent federal and state legislation; 3) reporting on AV use and infrastructure needs; and 4) continually assessing uptake and identifying opportunities. The role of government is to engage stakeholders, address safety and liability, and plan infrastructure while allowing industry and public preferences to guide automated vehicle adoption.
In modern life we have to face many problems because of traffic congestion. It is said that the
high volume of vehicles, the inadequate infrastructure and the irrational distribution of the development are
main reasons for increasing traffic jam. The major reason for traffic congestion is the high number of vehicle
which was caused by the increase in population and the development of economy. Traffic congestion is a
condition that occurs as use increases, and is characterized by slower speeds, longer trip times, and increased
vehicular queuing. Here I am considering vittila junction in Ernakulum district where we can see a high traffic

Wireless Smart Traffic Control System based on Vehicle density in Traffic Lan...IRJET Journal
This document describes a proposed wireless smart traffic control system based on vehicle density in traffic lanes and emergency vehicle detection. The system would use infrared sensors placed along roadways to detect vehicle volumes in each lane over time. A microcontroller would receive this sensor data and prioritize which lanes receive green lights based on vehicle density, with priority given to any lanes with detected emergency vehicles. The goal is to automatically adjust traffic light timing based on real-time traffic conditions to improve flow and reduce congestion compared to traditional fixed-schedule traffic lights.
This document describes a proposed system to clear traffic routes for ambulances using an 8051 microcontroller. Infrared sensors would detect approaching ambulances and signal nearby traffic lights to turn green in the ambulance's direction. The system aims to reduce traffic delays that ambulances often face in congested cities. It would use an AT89S52 microcontroller to control the sensors and traffic lights. When an ambulance is detected at a certain distance, the traffic light would receive a signal to turn green, similar to existing emergency vehicle preemption systems but designed to be affordable and effective during high-traffic hours.
IRJET- Automatic Traffic Control System based on the Vehicular DensityIRJET Journal
This document describes a proposed automatic traffic control system based on vehicular density. The system uses infrared sensors placed along roads to detect the number of vehicles passing through each lane. This information is sent to a microcontroller which then determines which lane has the highest traffic density and assigns a longer green light period to that lane dynamically. The goal is to optimize traffic flow compared to traditional fixed-time traffic lights. The system architecture includes infrared sensors connected to an Arduino microcontroller board, which controls traffic lights and displays information on an LCD screen. Simulation results show the microcontroller directing green lights based on detected vehicle buildup in different lanes. This proposed system aims to reduce traffic congestion by adapting signal times based on real-time traffic conditions
This document describes a proposed traffic congestion control system using embedded systems and wireless sensor networks. The system would use sensors to monitor traffic density on roads and at intersections in real-time. A microcontroller would analyze the sensor data and dynamically adjust traffic light timing based on traffic conditions. The system would also provide priority to emergency vehicles by overriding the traffic light sequence to give them a green light upon detection. This would help reduce traffic congestion and delays for emergency vehicles responding to calls.
IRJET- Smart Traffic Monitoring System using Ir Sensors based on Microcon...IRJET Journal
This document describes a smart traffic monitoring system using infrared sensors, a microcontroller, and GPS/GSM technology. The system aims to dynamically adjust traffic light timing based on detected vehicle density at intersections. Infrared sensors would detect vehicle presence and send this data to a microcontroller, which would then determine appropriate light durations. Location updates would also be sent via GSM to monitors. The system aims to reduce traffic congestion by optimizing green light times based on real-time traffic conditions instead of fixed schedules. It provides a framework to intelligently control lights and improve traffic flow.
Road traffic jam becomes a serious issue for highly crowded metropolitan cities. India is that the
second most populated country within the world and may be a fast growing economy. it's facing terrible road
congestion within the cities. consistent with Times of India about 30 percent of deaths are caused thanks to delayed
ambulance to succeed in at hospital. In proposed system we try to scale back the delay for the ambulance. To
smoothen the ambulance movement, we come up with “Auto Traffic Management System”. We try to supply the
green signals for ambulance by switching the signals. We are getting to use the technologies like RFIDs. Whenever
signal detects the ambulance almost signal, then signal switches to green. As this technique is fully automated, it
recognize the ambulance and control traffic signals. this technique controls traffic signal and saves the time in
emergency period. Also we've automated camera which can help in monitoring the traffic jam . Thus it act as a
life saver project.
Future Traffic Solution (FTS) is a proposed system using RFID and GSM technologies to help control traffic problems and reduce corruption. The system would extract vehicle registration details wirelessly using GSM to help traffic police issue fines on the spot for red light violations. It would also send violation messages to vehicle owners and help trace lost vehicles. This could increase government revenue and help traffic authorities better control traffic without issues like bribery.

All sensor data is uploaded to the cloud for remote monitoring and control via IOT. The overall goal is to minimize road accidents by enabling quick emergency response when accidents occur.
IRJET- A Vehicle to Vehicle Communication SystemIRJET Journal
This document presents a vehicle-to-vehicle communication system that uses sensors, wireless technology, and a microcontroller to provide collision warnings between vehicles. The system uses ultrasonic sensors to measure distance, an IR sensor for obstacle detection, a Wi-Fi module for wireless data communication between vehicles, and an ARM7 microcontroller to process the sensor data and control the system. Simulation results showed that the proposed system can deliver emergency alerts with low latency and efficiently use bandwidth in stressful road situations.
Traffic Density Control and Accident Indicator Using WSNIJMTST Journal
Now a day’s many of the things get controlled automatically. Everything is getting controlled using the mechanical or the automated systems. In every field machines are doing the human works. But still some area is controlled manually. For example traffic controls, road control, parking controlling. Keeping these things in mind we are trying to develop the project to automate the traffic tracking for the square. To make any project more useful and acceptable by any organization we need to provide multiple features in a single project. Keeping these things in consideration proposed system is less with multiple methodologies which can be used in traffic control system It is important to know the road traffic density real time especially in mega cities for signal control and effective traffic management. In recent years, video monitoring and surveillance systems have been widely used in traffic management. Hence, traffic density estimation and vehicle classification can be achieved using video monitoring systems. In most vehicle detection methods in the literature, only the detection of vehicles in frames of the given video is emphasized. However, further analysis is needed in order to obtain the useful information for traffic management such as real time traffic density and number of vehicle types passing these roads. This paper presents emergency vehicle alert and traffic density calculation methods using IR and GPS
IRJET- Smart Ambulance Movement and Monitoring System using GSM and RFID ...IRJET Journal

An Approach to Improve the Railway Crack Detection in the Tracks by Automated...IOSR Journals
This document proposes an approach to improve railway crack detection in tracks using automated engines. It involves designing engines that are automated and connected to RF rays. The system uses two nodes: a track side node mounted on posts along the tracks every 300 meters, and a station side node. The track side node detects cracks using GSM if the RF rays do not pass between posts due to a crack. It then sends a message to the nearest station and engine. The station side node communicates information to incoming trains and displays it for passengers. This automated system aims to improve railway safety by detecting cracks in tracks.

Abstract : Today in the real time world, so many type of transports are available like, flights, trains, buses, but majority of the people doing their travelling in trains only because due to less amount of charge for long time journey and at the same time it is more comfortable also. For those people we have to provide the safety journey, so the government has to take the responsibility for this. Although the government has taken necessary steps to safe journey but due to some reasons the accidents will happens. One of the major accidents in the railways networks are occurs due to track side faults. The track side fault means it will occur as natural or artificial. To avoid this we are going to design the automated engine model. In this design the engine should be automated and it is connected to the RF Rays. The automation techniques are based on two nodes, Track side node and Station side node. The proposed scheme has been modelled for Automation Engines in the Indian railway networks alone. Keywords : Crack, Detection, GSM, Automation, Engines.

As digital technology becomes more deeply embedded in power systems, protecting the communication
networks of Smart Grids (SG) has emerged as a critical concern. Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3)
represents a multi-tiered application layer protocol extensively utilized in Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA)-based smart grids to facilitate real-time data gathering and control functionalities.
Robust Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are necessary for early threat detection and mitigation because
of the interconnection of these networks, which makes them vulnerable to a variety of cyberattacks. To
solve this issue, this paper develops a hybrid Deep Learning (DL) model specifically designed for intrusion

dataset (DNP3), which focuses on unauthorized commands and Denial of Service (DoS) cyberattacks, to
train and test our model. The results of our experiments show that our CNN-LSTM method is much better
at finding smart grid intrusions than other deep learning algorithms used for classification. In addition,
our proposed approach improves accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, achieving a high detection
accuracy rate of 99.50%.
