EVALUATING STRUCTURAL, OPTICAL & ELECTRICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF ZINC CHALCOGE...Editor IJCATR
To evaluate the structural, optical & electrical properties of the zinc chalcogenides (ZnO, ZnS, ZnSe & ZnTe), the Full
Potential Linearized – Augumented Plane Wave plus Local Orbits (FP – LAPW+lo) method. For the purpose of exchange-correlation
energy (Exc) determination in Kohn–Sham calculation, the standard local density approximation (LDA) formalism has been utilized.
Murnaghan’s equation of state (EOS) has been used for volume optimization by minimizing the total energy with respect to the unit
cell volume. With the result of electronic density of states (DOS), the structural, optical and electrical properties of Zinc chalcogenides
have been calculated. The second derivative of energy, as a function of lattice strain has been successfully used to estimate the elastic
constants of these binary compounds. The results are in good agreement with other theoretical calculations as well as available
experimental data.

Magnesium diboride with Tc = 39K is a record breaking compound among s-p metals & alloys. Many experiments performed on Magnesium diboride suggest that there are two superconducting gaps. Considering a multiband model Hamiltonian with intra- & inter band pair transfer interactions we have derived the normal and anomalous one-particle Green's function & self-consistent equations for superconducting order parameter(ÃŽâ€) using Green's function technique & equation of motion method, we have studied the density of states. The results are quite encouraging.

Structural, Electronic and Gamma Shielding Properties of BxAl1-xAsIJMERJOURNAL
ABSTRACT: The structural and electronic properties of BxAl1-xAs ternary alloys in the zincblende structure were systematically investigated by using the first principles calculations. The local density approximation was used for exchanged and correlation interaction. The calculated band gap bowing parameter was discovered to be mightily composition dependent of the Boron concentration. Additionally, we have calculated some gamma shielding parameters of BxAl1-xAs ternary alloys. Primarily, the values of mass attenuation coefficients (μρ) were calculated using WinXCom computer program and then these parameters were utilized to calculate the values of electron density (Nel) and effective atomic number (Zeff) in the wide energy range (1 keV - 100 GeV).

The Ni-Ir substituted strontium ferrite of Sr(Ni-Ir)xFe12-2xO19 (x = 0.02 & 0.08) were
synthesized by sol-gel auto combustion technique and characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD),
Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) for morphological behaviour with electrical
characteristics using Impedance Analyzer. XRD results confirmed the formation of a single phase
M-type hexagonal unit cell of space group P63/mmc. The increase in Ni-Ir concentration increases
the lattice parameter. TEM analysis of the sample demonstrates the formation of nano-size particles
which decreases with substitution. In this paper we reported the variation of dielectric constant,
dielectric loss, tangent loss, conductivity and magnetic behaviour with composition with temperature
and frequency analysis of the sample. The migration of Fe3+ ion from octahedral to tetrahedral site
decreases the dielectric constant with increase in Ni-Ir concentration. Activation energies were
found similar with calculated at ferromagnetic and paramagnetic region. The material study we
confined that the activation energy in the paramagnetic region is higher than that in the
ferromagnetic region. The enhanced resistivity of Ni-Ir substituted strontium hexaferrites is a
prospective application in high frequency and in microwave devices development.

Impedance spectroscopic studies on zr modified bi3.25 la0.75ti3o12 ceramicseSAT Journals
Abstract
Zr- modified Lanthanum Bismuth Titanate, La0.75Bi3.25Ti3-xZrxO12 (with x=0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 1.0), ceramics were prepared by
the solid-state reaction method. Impedance measurements were made as a function of frequency (100 Hz - 1 MHz), from RT to
550o C. Complex impedance analysis was used as a tool to analyze the electrical behavior of different micro-elemental regions.
Cole–Cole plots showed depressed semicircles, which indicate non-Debye relaxation. Different micro-elemental values, namely
grain resistance (Rg), grain boundary resistance (Rgb), electrode resistance (Rel) and their capacitance values were evaluated, by
using Z-view software. The micro-elemental conductivity Vs Temperature plots showed the linear (Arrhenius) nature, and the
activation energies were calculated. The multiple activation process, present in the title compound, was corroborated with the
DC–conductivity data and our earlier ferroelectric (P vs. E) results.
Keywords: Impedance, Cole-Cole plots, Arrhenius behavior, Non-Debye.

Structural, elastic and electronic properties of 2H- and 4H-SiCIJERA Editor
The structural, five different elastic constants and electronic properties of 2H- and 4H-Silicon carbide (SiC) are investigated by using density functional theory (DFT). The total energies of primitive cells of 2H- and 4H-SiC phases are close to each other and moreover satisfy the condition E2H >E4H. Thus, the 4H-SiC structure appears to be more stable than the 2H- one. The analysis of elastic properties also indicates that the 4H-SiC polytype is stiffer than the 2H structures. The electronic energy bands, the total density of states (DOS) are calculated. The fully relaxed and isotropic bulk modulus is also estimated. The implication of the comparison of our results with the existing experimental and theoretical studies is made.

Design of Integrated LC Filter Using Multilayer Flexible Ferrite Sheets iosrjce
Dielectric and magnetic materials were developed for use as integrated passive component design.
The integrated LC component to be investigated in this paper uses ferrite material which combines both
magnetic and dielectric properties. Because of this double property, the ferrite sheet will be used in this design
as magnetic core for the inductor and dielectric substrate for the capacitor. The fabrication is simplified by
using PCB inductor and adhesive flexible ferrite sheet. To evaluate the inductance, the capacitance including
the parasitic resistance, a fabricated prototype of the LC component was simulated and measured. It was
confirmed that simulated values were very close to the measured values and the integrated LC component
behaves as low-pass filter

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.
Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
