This research aimed to conduct a formative assessment in the implementation of Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) Strand in the Division of Science City of Muñoz for years 2016 and 2017. The study assessed three main areas or variables, namely: instructional input, conduct of instruction and outcomes of instruction. The study revealed a tremendous increase of over one and one-half times its number compared to the previous year (2016) enrolment in ABM Strand which also accounted to learners’ own preference and decision to enrol along this track was documented. It was also observed that the most basic instructional inputs such as classrooms, television, LCD projector, computer, and printer were deficient. Textbooks still served as the daily instructional material followed by hand outs and modules. It further revealed that teaching methodologies and strategies employed by the ABM teachers were varied as to the extent of use. Results further revealed that much of the instructional time was devoted to lecture method. The teacher-student and student to student interactions were not evidently seen in the study. In terms of assessment, Paper and Pen test was used as mode of assessment in order to measure and evaluate the learners’ learning outcomes. On the contrary, in terms of output of instruction, learners still obtained outstanding and very satisfactory grades. Given the qualifications and vertical specialization of teachers and the limitations cited, student-learners managed to acquire quality education.

Attitude of Secondary School Teachers towards Equitable Education in Coimbato...ijtsrd
Equitable Education System was proposed in the state of Tamil Nadu. It was felt that by following this education system we could afford impartial education to all school children irrespective of region such as rural and urban, upper and lower caste, and religion etc. This new system of education came into existence after a lot of oppositions, obstacles and confusions. Determining attitude and efforts to advance a new system of education is very much essential. Attitude of teachers, students and parents about a new educational system influences the choices and national development. Teachers and parents have a supreme responsibility in the mental and physical growth of the students. Their attitude is one of the most important variables in the education of children. Successful and effective implementation of a new system of education depends upon the knowledge of teachers and their positive attitudes towards it. Thus, the study of teachers' attitude towards Equitable Education becomes indispensable to the implementation plans. These observations initiated the investigator to undertake the present study, “Attitude of Secondary School Teachers towards Equitable Education in Coimbatore District†G. Jayanthi | Dr. K. ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between instructional program and academic achievement of students in national examinations in public secondary schools in Tinderet sub county Kenya. The objective of this study was: to determine the impact of leading the instructional program on the students’ academic achievement in national examinations. The study was guided by the effective schools model by Lezotte (2010), which states that an effective school is characterized by seven correlates namely: leading the instructional program, focus on school mission, safety and orderliness of schools, expectations for success, home-school relations, frequent monitoring of students progress and opportunity to learn for students. The researcher employed a survey design targeting all the 18 public secondary schools in Tinderet Sub County, all the 18 principals and the 225 teachers. Stratified sampling technique was used to select 10 schools for the study from the total 18 schools in the distinct. The sampled schools were stratified according to the academic performance for the last three years (2011-2013). All the principals of the sampled 10 schools took part in the study. Simple random sampling was used to select 90 teachers (9 teachers from each school selected). The sample size was 100 respondents. Questionnaires and interview guide were used to collect data. The descriptive survey allowed the generation of both qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data was analyzed using the descriptive statistics including frequencies and percentages. Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and Anova were used to make inferences. Qualitative data was put under themes consistent with the research objectives. The analyzed data was then presented in form of graphs, pie charts and tables for easy interpretation. Findings from the study showed that, majority of the principals indicated that they always led the instructional program. Majority of the teachers on the other hand indicated that, principals did not always engage in these leadership practices but did engage sometimes. Analysis of variance between principals' and teachers' responses on similar issues indicated that there was a significant difference in the manner teachers and principals were responding to questions. Findings on the effect of leadership practices on academic performance were consistent as the teachers and principals were in agreement that these leadership practices when applied had a positive effect on academic performance. Comparative analysis between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquapon...bijceesjournal
The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.

The CBC machine is a common diagnostic tool used by doctors to measure a patient's red blood cell count, white blood cell count and platelet count. The machine uses a small sample of the patient's blood, which is then placed into special tubes and analyzed. The results of the analysis are then displayed on a screen for the doctor to review. The CBC machine is an important tool for diagnosing various conditions, such as anemia, infection and leukemia. It can also help to monitor a patient's response to treatment.
Optimizing Gradle Builds - Gradle DPE Tour Berlin 2024Sinan KOZAK
Sinan from the Delivery Hero mobile infrastructure engineering team shares a deep dive into performance acceleration with Gradle build cache optimizations. Sinan shares their journey into solving complex build-cache problems that affect Gradle builds. By understanding the challenges and solutions found in our journey, we aim to demonstrate the possibilities for faster builds. The case study reveals how overlapping outputs and cache misconfigurations led to significant increases in build times, especially as the project scaled up with numerous modules using Paparazzi tests. The journey from diagnosing to defeating cache issues offers invaluable lessons on maintaining cache integrity without sacrificing functionality.
