This document describes the design and fabrication of a manually operated seed sowing machine. It aims to address issues with traditional sowing methods, which are costly and labor-intensive for small farmers. The machine was designed to uniformly place seeds in rows at a controlled depth and spacing. Key components include a hopper, frame, furrow opener, and seed tube. Design calculations were performed to analyze forces on components. The machine offers advantages like reduced costs, labor needs, and improved plant germination compared to traditional sowing methods.
