This document discusses and compares different techniques for object and text detection from real-time images, including OCR, RCNN, Mask RCNN, Fast RCNN, and Faster RCNN algorithms. It finds that Mask RCNN, an extension of Faster RCNN, is generally the best algorithm for object detection in real-time images, as it outperforms other models in accuracy for tasks like object detection, segmentation, and captioning challenges. The document provides background on machine learning and neural networks approaches to image recognition and object detection.
Satellite and Land Cover Image Classification using Deep Learningijtsrd
Satellite imagery is very significant for many applications including disaster response, law enforcement and environmental monitoring. These applications require the manual identification of objects and facilities in the imagery. Because the geographic area to be covered are great and the analysts available to conduct the searches are few, automation is required. The traditional object detection and classification algorithms are too inaccurate, takes a lot of time and unreliable to solve the problem. Deep learning is a family of machine learning algorithms that can be used for the automation of such tasks. It has achieved success in image classification by using convolutional neural networks. The problem of object and facility classification in satellite imagery is considered. The system is developed by using various facilities like Tensor Flow, XAMPP, FLASK and other various deep learning libraries. MOTION PREDICTION USING DEPTH INFORMATION OF HUMAN ARM BASED ON ALEXNETgerogepatton
The development of convolutional neural networks(CNN) has provided a new tool to make classification and prediction of human's body motion. This project tends to predict the drop point of a ball thrown out by experimenters by classifying the motion of their body in the process of throwing. Kinect sensor v2 is used to record depth maps and the drop points are recorded by a square infrared induction module. Firstly, convolutional neural networks are made use of to put the data obtained from depth maps in and get the prediction of drop point according to experimenters' motion. Secondly, huge amount of data is used to trainthe networks of different structure, and a network structure that could provide high enough accuracy for drop point prediction is established. The network model and parameters are modified to improve the accuracy of the prediction algorithm. Finally, the experimental data is divided into a training group and a test group. The prediction results of test group reflect that the prediction algorithm effectively improves the accuracy of human motion perception.
Using Mask R CNN to Isolate PV Panels from Background Object in Imagesijtsrd
Identifying foreground objects in an image is one of the most common operations used in image processing. In this work, Mask R CNN algorithm is used to identify solar photovoltaic PV panels in aerial images and create a mask that can be used to remove the background from the images. This allows processing the PV panels separately. Using ML to solve this problem can generate more accurate results in comparison to more traditional image processing techniques like using edge detection or Gaussian filtering especially in images where the view might not be easily separable from the objects of interest. The trained model was found to be successful in detecting the PV panels and selecting the pixels that belong to them while ignoring the background pixels. This kind of work can be useful in collecting information about PV installation present in aerial or satellite imagery, or in analyzing the health and integrity of PV modules in large scale installations e.g., in a solar power plant. The results show that this method is effective with a high potential for improved results if the model is trained using larger and more diverse datasets. Deep Learning for X ray Image to Text Generationijtsrd
Motivated by the recent success of supervised and weakly supervised common object discovery, in this work we move forward one step further to tackle common object discovery in a fully unsupervised way. Mainly, object co localization aims at simultaneously localizing the objects of the same class across a group of images. Traditional object localization detection usually trains the specific object detectors which require bounding box annotations of object instances, or at least image level labels to indicate the presence absence of objects in an image. Given a collection of images without any annotations, our proposed fully unsupervised method is to simultaneously discover images that contain common objects and also localize common objects in corresponding images. It has been long envisioned that the machines one day will understand the visual world at a human level of intelligence. Now we can build very deep convolutional neural networks CNNs and achieve an impressively low error rate for tasks like large scale image classification. However, in tasks like image classification, the content of an image is usually simple, containing a predominant object to be classified. The situation could be much more challenging when we want computers to understand complex scenes. Image captioning is one such task. In these tasks, we have to train a model to predict the category of a given x ray image is to first annotate each x ray image in a training set with a label from the predefined set of categories. Through such fully supervised training, the computer learns how to classify an x ray image and convert into text. A Novel GA-SVM Model For Vehicles And Pedestrial Classification In Videosijtsrd
The paper presents a novel algorithm for object classification in videos based on improved support vector machine (SVM) and genetic algorithm. One of the problems of support vector machine is selection of the appropriate parameters for the kernel. This has affected the accuracy of the SVM over the years. This research aims at optimizing the SVM Radial Basis kernel parameters using the genetic algorithm. Moving object classification is a requirement in smart visual surveillance systems as it allows the system to know the kind of object in the scene and be able to recognize the actions the object can perform. This paper presents an GA-SVM machine learning approach for real time object classification in videos. Radial distance signal features are extracted from the silhouettes of object detected in videos. The radial distance signals features are then normalized and fed into the GA-SVM model. The classification rate of 99.39% is achieved with the genetically trained SVM algorithm while 99.1% classification accuracy is achieved with the normal SVM. A comparison of this classifier with some other classifiers in terms of classification accuracy shows a better performance than other classifiers such as the normal SVM, Artificial neural network (ANN), Genetic Artificial neural network (GANN), K-nearest neighbor (K-NN) and K-Means classifiers. Machine learning based augmented reality for improved learning application th...IJECEIAES
Detection of objects and their location in an image are important elements of current research in computer vision. In May 2020, Meta released its state-ofthe-art object-detection model based on a transformer architecture called detection transformer (DETR). There are several object-detection models such as region-based convolutional neural network (R-CNN), you only look once (YOLO) and single shot detectors (SSD), but none have used a transformer to accomplish this task. These models mentioned earlier, use all sorts of hyperparameters and layers. However, the advantages of using a transformer pattern make the architecture simple and easy to implement. In this paper, we determine the name of a chemical experiment through two steps: firstly, by building a DETR model, trained on a customized dataset, and then integrate it into an augmented reality mobile application. By detecting the objects used during the realization of an experiment, we can predict the name of the experiment using a multi-class classification approach. The combination of various computer vision techniques with augmented reality is indeed promising and offers a better user experience.
People Monitoring and Mask Detection using Real-time video analyzingvivatechijri
People Counting and mask detection based on video is an important field in a Computer Vision. There is growing interest in video-based solutions for people monitoring and counting in business and security applications using Computer Vision technology. It has been effectively used in many Artificial Intelligence fields. Compareing to normal sensor based solutions the one with video based allows more flexible performance, improved functionalities with lower costs. The system with people counter program requires more processing because that deals with real-time video, so this particular proposed technique converts a color image into binary in order to minimize data of image. Reducing processing time is an important term in Software Engineering to build a good working system. People counting methods based on head detection and tracking to evaluate the total number of people who move under an overhead camera and check whether that people are wearing a mask or not. There basically four main features in this proposed system: People counting, Mask detection, Alarm alert and Scan ID. Based on tracking of head, this method uses the crossing-line judgment to determine whether the particular head object will get counted or not to be counted. The two main challenges overcome in this system are: tough estimation of the background scene and the number of persons in merge split scenarios. A technique for masked face detection using three different steps of estimating eye line detection, facial part detection and eye detection is used in this system. On exceeding the count of people or in case mask is not worn then alarm gets alerted
Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is a fast-growing method which has been used in different
industries during recent years. The main idea for creating ANN which is a subset of artificial
intelligence is to provide a simple model of human brain in order to solve complex scientific and
industrial problems. ANNs are high-value and low-cost tools in modelling, simulation, control,
condition monitoring, sensor validation and fault diagnosis of different systems. It have high
flexibility and robustness in modeling, simulating and diagnosing the behavior of rotating machines
even in the presence of inaccurate input data. They can provide high computational speed for
complicated tasks that require rapid response such as real-time processing of several simultaneous
signals. ANNs can also be used to improve efficiency and productivity of energy in rotating
equipment

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product.
